Eight years flown on by and Naruto makes his return to the city where he once fell in love, only for him to leave hollow and broken after she was persuaded to leave him. Plagued by her memory at every corner, a chance meeting changes fates, minds, and hearts. Thus he tries to silence the memories. Inspired and based on Jane Austen's Persuasion.
-ahhh loving the yearning angst of unrequited love (but it's actually requited) in this fic.
"Amaranthine" by @opttagoyeo - Rated T, Various AU, Series of unrelated one-shots. A few drabbles/ideas ranging from fluff, confusing, humor, and angst regarding the most iconic and popular canon couple of Konohagakure, Naruhina.

"After Office Hours" by Pandora_Imperatrix - Rated M, Canon-Divergent AU, Multi-chapter, Complete. Naruto is lonely after Sakura and Sasuke left the village to travel together, he keeps leaving the office later and later, things start to change after one night when his secretary Hinata and him share a couple of vending machine beers.
In this AU Naruto becomes Hokage a lot earlier than in the manga and The Last never happened.
-It's been years since this was updated, and recently Pandora updated and just finished it!!!!!!
"Friends with benefits" by @pastillesch - Rated T, Modern AU, Multi-chapter, Ongoing. "I'm dumping you" --Naruto blinked once. Twice. "But we're not even together". It was more a stress relief than anything romantic, really. A hobby one would say. And now it was time to search for a new hobby. Or at least a new partner for this kind of hobby.
-Another one that I was super excited to see updated again!!!!

-I am a total sucker for this type of size difference au. Like, it's just such a weird trope. It's just so weird. I love it. Makuro767 does a wonderful job with it!
"Love Is Not A Cage" by @nightowl27-writer - Rated E, Canon-Divergent AU, Multi-chapter, Ongoing. When Naruto comes back to his senses after the battle with Pein, the first thing he remembers are those baffling words she said just before she nearly died for him, and he NEEDS to hear them again. Will the truth set them free? Or are some confessions too much for the soul?
-that recent update killed me. In a good way. but oh man.
"Hinata (Mirror, Mirror)" from "Chicken Ramen for the Pervert's Soul" by @wickermayne - Rated E, Canon-Compliant, One-shot. Naruto rolled his eyes at the purchase asking why she needed it and complained about how much room it took up, but Hinata enjoyed modeling different dresses in front of it, loved how it let her see all the many different angles. And that seemed to keep Naruto quiet enough about the mirror.

So, I guess it's been months since I worked on this list. Because it's nearing the end of March 2024 now. And up at the top, apparently I was last working on this list in September 2023. And at that time, it had been "months" since the asker sent this. Well, here's the ones I've been reading recently:

-It's been awhile since I read an irredeemable Naruto, and Niya's not lying when she calls the characterization ruthless!!
"Prey" by @sessakag - Rated E, Modern/Gangs AU, Multi-chapter, Ongoing. Following a midnight chance encounter with Hinata Hyuuga, a smitten sociopath, Naruto Uzumaki, tries his hand at romance, determined to make her fall in love with him the only way he knows how.
-it's the mystery of Hinata's background that really fuels this piece for me. Icing on the cake is Naruto as a wonderfully sexy and dangerous stranger and the sexual tension between them that is absolutely exquisite.
"Paper Rings" by Its_Levioooosaa - Rated E, College/Soulmates AU, Multi-chapter, Ongoing. In a world where soulmates are found after a touch and after a brief moment of pain, resulting in a red loop circling the first knuckle of each person's pinky finger. Fating the two people together and leaving it up to them to decide what their relationship will be. Hinata had just stopped at her friends for a piece of pizza, little did she know that she'd be leaving with a soulmate.
-It's a cute premise and I can't wait to see what happens next! I love a good soulmate AU!
"Wanting More Than A Poolside View" by @bunny-hoodlum - Rated E, High School AU, Multi-chapter, Ongoing. Just a Sukumizu fetish scenario where Hinata is the target of a panty thief and recruits Naruto to investigate himself.
-I've been loving all of Bunny's updates this year, but I'm really hoping for an update on this one....or Narutoland haha, but I dunno what it is about High School NaruHina and their immaturity, it's just so fun!

If you’re still doing the ask meme naturo
I will keep answering if I keep getting sent series and shows, I suppose.
Character I first fell in love with: …y’know, it took me a while to really get in Naruto’s groove back when I was reading it, but I am a sucker for a shonen protagonist. So my answer is Naruto.
My other answer is his father, Minato.
A character I used to love/like, but now do not: I don’t have a good answer for this. My heart remains steady and true.
A ship that I used to love/like, but now do not: NaruHina, if you can believe it. It was a gradual and mild “like” that fell into a swift decline, but it qualifies.
My ultimate favorite character: …Naruto’s father Minato. I don’t really remember how his entire plotline fleshed out but I just liked him on sight for whatever reason. Even though his long sideburns are stupid.
Prettiest character: I do honestly think it’s Sakura or Sasuke. Honorable mention Kushina.
My most hated character: Sasuke.
My OTP: I don’t.
My NOTP: Most of the canon pairings.
Favorite episode: Admittedly I loved early Naruto of squad 7 doing random missions and stuff, and training together. I also enjoy all of Rock Lee’s fights, and it’s nice to see Gaara and his siblings after the chuunin exam.
Saddest death: Haku! Mostly because I remember it the best.
Favorite season: The first one? I actually did like the season where Sasuke leaves Konoha, though…
Least favorite season: Um. I didn’t watch them all to know.
Character that everyone else in the fandom loves, but I hate: Sasuke, though I tend to really like Sasuke fans because I agree with most of what they have to say about the series. It is a fine line I walk.
Maybe Jiraiya? But I don’t really hate him, either.
My “you’re a piece of trash, but still my favorite”: Naruto himself.
My “beautiful cinnamon roll who deserves better than this” favorite: None of them are cinnamon rolls, but pretty much everyone in the cast under 30 years old and then a few others above that bracket fit into this category, even if I don’t like them.
My “this ship is wrong, nasty, and makes me want to cleanse my soul, but I still love it” ship: I will have to think about that! I don’t know!
My “they’re kind of cute, and I lowkey ship them, but I’m not too invested” ship: My longtime friend made me have a soft spot for Gaara/Sakura. Also Sakura/Ino, I guess.

alright i started watching naruto earlier this week and just some things i'd like to say:
90% of the time i am yelling at the screen for people to stop disrespecting my boy naruto and like, pumping my fist cheering for him???
love when they play the music™ and i know some awesome asskicking is about to take place
i also really love it when they do the hand signs can't tell ya why it just makes me happy lmao

okay usually when i watch a show i will have like one favorite and i'll like some of the others but here there are just SO many that i fuckin love?
naruto just might have to be my fav but after him it is VERY close between a whole bunch of them
he is BABY and deserves so much love and respect and is also such a badass. his determination and the way he inspires?? *chef's kiss*
in the beginning i thought my fav was gonna be sasuke cuz yknow we love a hothead emo
but somewhere naruto pulled ahead and then sasuke was gone for a bajillion episodes and suddenly a whole shit ton of others were occupying all of my brainspace
like shikamaru? love him. what an absolute badass genius. unmatched strategy
hinata? BABY. love her. a total baddie. cry whenever she's onscreen. admire her determination just like naruto
kiba? i know almost nothing about him but god i love him. he is so pretty and also i love the pup. would love more kiba content
rock lee? cracks me tf up. is awesome and a sweetheart. died when he took off the leg weights lmao i feel so bad for him tho :(
shino? BEST BUGGY BOY. love the mysterious vibe. is a lowkey baddie. i laughed for five minutes at that one post of him crying watching a bug's life. applauded when naruto dubbed him as one of the powerhouses.

I am a sucker for crossovers, not only crossovers with other fandoms but crossovers for ships within the same fandom like here! It makes it a lot easier if it’s all with the same mun as well, the possibilities are awesome!
For example, if you RP as Hinata and your main ship for her is with Naruto, NaruHina will be our main ship, other ships like SasuSaku can be referenced in the background, say when your Hinata interacts with my Sasuke (if they’re not a SasuHina ship of their own, that’s another verse haha). Multi-ship will still a thing, and naturally extended AUs will be used for shipping any characters that have passed away in canon.
This also applies for platonic ships as well, say with Kakashi and Obito for example, as my Sasuke is already involved there lmao. Just want to let everyone know that it’s an option if you’re not aware already through our interactions haha, oh I guess give this a like for your okay on it too, thanks!

Genderbent!NaruHina Drabble
I have retained the 2:1 guy girl ratio on teams. Here's how it looks:
Team 7 - Naruko, Sasuke, Sakuro.
Team 8 - m!Hinata, Kiba, Shiko
Team 10 - m!Ino, f!Chouji, Shikamaru
Team Gai - Nejiko, m!Tenten, Lee
Jiraiya is genderbent but it cringes me to have done so. Therefore, Icha Icha is more harlequin novel chock-load of female gaze than it is male gaze. Or maybe there's even amounts. Lady Jiraiya swings both ways.

Hyuuga Hinata was on his way to meet up with Team 8 by the tree. Word had spread of Naruko's arrival, having completed her training with the Sannin Lady Jiraiya.
He stopped upon hearing Shiko's jilted voice.
"Seems like you noticed Kiba right away, didn't you, Naruko?"
Hinata pressed against the fence, cupping his warming neck as he always had when his self-consciousness rose up to overwhelm him.
"Oh, it's you, Hinata-kun!" That familiar voice chirped, only it wasn't the same shrill with the boyish speech he was used to, but instead Naruko's voice has richened in sweetness and charm.
This sneak attack jolted Hinata out of his rumination, then rendered him frozen in place.
It's been far too long.
There's no way he can handle the sight of Naruko as a woman.
But what if she hadn't matured all that much?
Hinata wouldn't hate it. Hinata didn't have a type. If Naruko, the brash and cheerful hurricane that she was, could be considered a type, then Hinata only felt a pull towards hurricanes.
But no one is nor ever will be a level Naruko.
He turns his head to the right like a creaky wheel that just won't budge, and the world blows away, his focus becomes solely entirely on this amazing young woman whom he hadn't the courage to say goodbye to in person.
Her skin is the same sun-kissed shade, but instead of streaks of dirt, her cheeks look dewy, velvet soft. Her wide curious eyes are taking in him, and he just can't. He's only a little taller than Naruko still, but he feels so, so small when she's around. Like the sun drying up a fallen flower petal.
Her bangs are still the same impish curls around her sharp, innocent eyes and Hinata's heart bangs incessantly against his ribcage, shouting 'Let me out! Let me out!', because it knows what happens next when Naruko is around.
Everything goes hazy. The world tilts and sways then pulls away, leaving nothing but the hard ground to catch him.
Distantly he hears her charming voice shriek.
"Huh?! Hinata-kun," Her legs and slender feet in those black knee-high boots enter his vision. "Hey, Hinata-kun! Hey, Hinata-kun!"
Kiba enters his vision from behind Naruko.
"Why do you always faint after seeing Naruko?!"
Then the world faded to black.

Naruko catches him alone again a couple weeks later.
It feels like déjà vu.
Hinata's always had this habit of grasping the back of his neck. He just can't look at Naruko directly, nor can he seem to form a coherent sentence.
Naruko, whose been darting side to side in order to catch his gaze, finally stops in front of him. Hinata freezes. Those blue eyes are beautiful. But also… Naruko's cleavage is showing. And she has much of it.
Heat rises up Hinata's face like steam inside a tea kettle.
"N,N,Naruko-chan, your j,jacket..!"
Naruko's face scrunches as she tilts her head to the side. Then she finally peeks down at herself. "Oh yeah. Sakuro-kun was bitching at me earlier, but it's way too hot out today. He just doesn't understand." Naruko says this while pinching her zipper and flapping the fabric to cool herself off.
It's not helping Hinata cool off one bit.
Naruko tilts at the waist to look at him, her brows crooked in concern. "Hey, you're no good with the heat either, are you, Hinata-kun?"
"A,Ah, I s,suppose not…" Hinata grasps his neck and shrinks down further, but no matter what, Naruko never lets him off the hook. He wishes she understood personal space. Out of all the obnoxious demands Sakuro regularly puts on the sweet blonde, Hinata would appreciate some practical etiquette training in this case.
"Hey, Hinata-kun, why won't you look at me?" Naruko took a step forward.
"S,Sor--" Hinata bowed abruptly, only to feel the soft, damp brush of flesh against his forehead. The heat of his embarrassment became too great it fried his poor brain.
Naruko's breasts were pillowing the top of his head.
Naruko's breasts.
Her breasts.
The bare tops of her breasts.
Like the sweetest pillows. They might even outclass her lap, which Hinata refused to admit daydreaming about; a dozy day on a bench in the park, his head in her lap, her fingernail carefully tracing the shell of his ear.
Hinata was instantly woozy.
He turned limp and collapsed to the ground.
It was best he didn't remember this upon waking, or else he'd faint again.

Hinata is at the public bath with the boys.
They tease him with the knowledge that Naruko is on the other side.
Well, he knows full well she is, because he can hear her through the walls. There's Naruko's indoor voice and there's Naruko's overly excited voice. There's barely a two octave difference.
"Nejiko, the least you could do for us is use that Byakugan to spy on the boys!"
Hinata lost his balance and slipped deeper into the heated water till it rose up to his mouth.
The boys in the bath collectively stilled, their hands slowly moving down to cover their crotches.
"How dare you! I am not a tool for your voyeurism!"
The boys nodded in unison.
"You tell her, Nejiko." Said Sakuro, like the veteran of Naruko's impish flirtations that he was.
"Is your cousin in there?" Naruko asked, causing Hinata's eyes to shoot open and his ears to burn.
"I am NOT checking out my precious cousin for you! And if I catch you--"
"Yeah, yeah. Sounds like a challenge."
Hinata could picture Naruko's dangerous smile as she said those words.
Naruko was a sucker for a challenge.

- personally i never saw it? i stumbled across the ship pretty early in my naruto days, and back then i was a lot less ‘open/loose’ with my shipping? they barely spoke and i didn’t get any chemistry vibes from them, so never though to ship them. obviously these days a person can like, sneeze in another’s general direction and we’re jumpin’ on the train lol but, idk. it just never stuck. i’ll tolerate it as a background ship for good fics where it’s not the focus, but i’m not looking for it and probably wouldn’t be able to convincingly write it rip
2 ) sakura / ino : 6/10
- do i ship it? not actively. i’m too much of a sucker for sai/ino lol. i do love their dynamic and fanart, but i don’t read fics for them and i’ve never sought it out. i don’t have many feelings on it aside from these??? kjdlakdsj idk!!! if ino didn’t end up with sai, i’d be happy to see her with sakura. i could def write it... hm... possible ideas....

I definitely DID NOT thirst for Aizen or Ryuuken as a kid. Yet here I am at 24 thirsting for both. WTF? Why even Aizen brain? He's a psychopath, for reals. Stupid hoe ass clara.
Speaking of childhood, lol at everyone mad about NaruHina and IchiHime becoming canon, they were my ships as a kid, so I may not be satisfied with how they were told, but I'm still happy they're canon. Suckers.

Anyway, lolz, this set is chaotic and ugly, but at least it accidentally represents my chaotic brain as I try to figure out what I wanna do for this group. I already have 6 characters in mind, and yes, most of them are based on bleach, back off. I just finished watching it, so it's about 75% of my personality rn.
Rhaella - Fire dragon, the first born of a noble family, dragon obsessed. Would've killed someone if she wasn't revealed to have the mark - that is NOT a joke. Pretty elitist, considers dragons and riders better than everyone else, Raheia is the greatest, bow before the empress!!! Honestly, she's kind insufferable, gotta dig beneath her 20 levels of "I AM A DRAGON" to find the stuff that cares about right and wrong and other people.
Toshiro - Ice dragon, special boi. Probs gonna have to iron out the kinks, but I wanna include that thing of where he dreamed about his ice dragon since he was a lil bby and accidentally kept freezing his granny. Probs had a cool mentor that helped him out. A commoner. Was a shortie for a long time, tol now, but people still have a habit of giving him candy and treats. Still sensitive about that. Acts all calm and collected, but kinda short tempered. Is a DORK.

Kakashi - Lightning dragon, you can't say lightning and not make me think of my OG hubs! Huh, maybe I did have an older man kink-ATTRACTION since I was a kid. But I still maintain that SRK and Kakashi are outliers. Like who did 8 year old plan to crush on in Naruto? Sasuke? She did, but that was stupid. Anyway, my idea for him is to be like an ex-royal guard, he defected and now is a wanted bad guy (but with a goodish reason), idk. Maybe I'll scrap him, but like, I want.
Kensei - Earth dragon, big beefy good boy. Tries to act tough and cool, and above it all, but is sweet as shit. Doesn't know how to make kids stop crying, has a scary smile that hurts his feelings.
Shuuhei - Wind dragon, was saved by Kensei as a kid, and adopted him as his d̶a̶d̶ older brother (lolz, no, as his dad, but like there's not that much of a difference in age). Also a fucking dork. Tries to look cool with a bad boy image, can't flirt for shit. Blushes when someone says anything nice to him.
Shizuri - Fire or water dragon, I'm leaning towards water for personality dissonance. Hot headed shortie that bosses kensei and shuuhei around (she be the mom in their nuclear lil fam), causes a lot of trouble, which kensei bails her out of, but she always says it's the opposite.
Rhae and Shiro are my faves though, I might end up making all of them, but those will be my main, plus they got that whole fire and ice dynamic going. I a hoe for, well lots of things, but also that.

The Last and NaruHina
So not too long ago, I pretty much finished Naruto Shippuden and watched the last movie, and one of my driving forces in doing so was NaruHina. I honestly have no idea how this came to be, but a little after I started Naruto (the first series), I really got into it. Throughout both series I became painfully aware that it definitely wasn’t going to be the most common way anime pairing occurred. It was hard, yes, seeing quiet little Hinata hopelessly pining over Naruto who was obsessed with Sakura. They did, however, have their little moments which I found cute. It was like only like a handful of times where there were NaruHina scenes in both the original series and Shippuden though. I want to say for the record that I completely understand anyone’s dissatisfaction about this.
Seeing them as teenagers in Shippuden, I loved seeing how much they had grown over the years and I was really happy with everyone’s development. Although Hinata was definitely a lot more confident and kickass than she was when she was 12, her defining characteristic always seemed to be her loving Naruto, as I have seen others gather as well. That’s flaw #1. (The purpose of this isn’t to bash NaruHina, I swear. Give me a moment😅). Flaw #2 would be, I have to say, Naruto’s obliviousness when it comes to Hinata. Note— I did not say feelings. Naruto was pretty in touch with feelings when it came to almost anything else, a mistake on the writer’s part in my opinion. I will say that we didn’t go completely without something between them this whole time. Maybe it’s just me and I’m biased but I always thought Naruto was always overprotective of Hinata?? Correct me if I’m wrong.
Masashi Kishimoto could have done so much more with Hinata and Naruto’s development though, seeing as he intended for them to be married by the end. In stories, the general audience prefers a gradual climb towards a desired endpoint. Kishimoto gave us staggered baby steps and then a rapid incline, I kid you not when I say rapid.
Naruto: The Last, as many of you know, contains the plot of Naruto and Hinata’s relationship. It was cliché as fuck and happened just a little bit too fast but, hey, I’m an absolute sucker for romance and I couldn’t bring myself to not love it. (In all honestly, I’ll probably watch it again.) By the end of the movie I was asking myself why hadn’t we gotten anything like this sooner??(Especially when Naruto still had his hair but that’s neither here nor there😅). I loved Naruto and Hinata’s dynamic. For once, Hinata wasn’t so terribly shy and Naruto could focus on her for once and not, literally, everything else. Those were honestly my favorite 10-15 minutes in the entire series (eh I may be biased). The formatting of this movie managed to set up what should have been a developing relationship over several arcs/seasons, into 2 hours. Not perfectly. Definitely not perfect, but it makes the events Season 21 all the more natural** and I’ll say they did it pretty well. I enjoyed seeing Sakura as the relationship guru (she truly was a real one in this movie. Kudos to her🙌.) and Shikamaru and Sai as the not-so-conventional wingmen. I honestly cannot bring myself to hate this movie, but I do want to discuss one verrryyyy important point: The reason in which Naruto started to pay attention to Hinata.
Only when he had the moments he and she lived right before his eyes, could he understand why Hinata acted the way she did all the time. I personally could not believe Naruto could be that dense, given how far he had come from being a completely oblivious little kid but as Sakura pointed out, he didn’t even understand the difference between loving food and loving a person. It’s a debatable point given how much Naruto cares for people but I could see the reason in it.
Even so, the way I choose to see it (this is strictly my opinion) is that in all honesty I don’t think I could name one teenage boy who knows what love is. Half of them don’t know how to function properly let alone consider true feelings. Maybe this is different for some people but I see it as Naruto just being an average teenaged boy. I feel that we forget this sometimes, and I won’t deny him the fact that he is very mature in some aspects. When it all comes down to it though, he was 12 and 16 years old. We’re very used to, in anime, people realizing how they feel for one another early on and developing from there but realistically speaking, how often does that happen? The childhood sweethearts cliché, I think, was what we expected seeing as we’ve watched them all grow up, but Naruto was a bit preoccupied with other things (Sasuke, Jiraiya’s death, Sasuke, defeating Pain, Sasuke, the war, Sasuke, etc.) to think of any relationship even with Sakura, although when questioned about it, he never denied it. Classic teenage boy, right there.
I’m going to vouch for Masashi Kishimoto a little bit here. (I don’t know too much about him and apologize if I am misinformed). I read that Kishimoto, when creating Naruto, wanted to base the character off of Goku from the the Dragon Ball franchise and quite frankly, Naruto and Hinata’s relationship reminds me a lot of Goku and his wife ChiChi’s relationship. The resemblance is almost uncanny and I feel like that’s how Kishimoto created NaruHina. Of course though, if I had to choose I think I’d choose NaruHina given that their bond is definitely more apparent. But you know I could be wrong. Maybe Kishimoto realized he wanted to create the Boruto series too late to develop any relationships and threw people together. I’ve got no clue. ( I’ll do a bit more research later on and I hope some of you will shed a little light on this.)
I’m just going to say it. Right here. Right now. I like NaruHina. I like a lot of other ships too but this is my favorite. I’ve had this account for a few weeks and I haven’t seen it as much of a popularity. NaruHina’s just the ship that’s won me over and that’s just what it is. I say this to sort of assert my place in this fandom and also to see other people’s opinions. I’m new here, bring em on! (No animosity intended there though😅) I haven’t watched Boruto yet or the wedding (**any of Season 21 for that matter, I’m waiting for the dub) so I’ve still got a lot to see. I’m going to try to add on my opinions to this post for each as I watch, but for now I’m dwelling in the Shippudenverse for a bit, waiting for the dust to settle in my brain from that painfully unhealthy binge I did😂.

Clois: "buh Lois only luv souperman!" you might say...yeah, that's complete bullshit and only existed in the silver age where most women in comics were reduced to damsels in distress were one note af. Lois loves Clark Kent and Superman. Lois is a gutsy and strong woman that doesn't take any shit despite being a normal human. That's why Clark fell in love with her. I am so happy that they're together and have a son in rebirth.
Kaine Parker x Miguel O'Hara(i call the ship "kiggy"): Remember when I said that I love a few crack ships? Here ya go. I feel like they'd make a cute couple, Kaine being a grump with Miguel being snarky. Both have similar backstories with abusive father figures and both can have a few angst issues. Miguel, while not the most outgoing and confident, is more so than Kaine and I'd love the idea of Miguel helping Kaine with his insecurities. Having team-ups and their personalities bouncing off each other would be fun to see too. I really wish we could see them interact together one day.
Bob and Linda Belcher: I feel like they're the only couple in adult animation that still love each other and their children after marriage. Looking at you, Peter and Lois!
Tohru and Ms. Kobayashi: It's a fairly new pairing but it's also friggen adorable.
NaruHina: Hinata is best girl and I am so happy that she ended up with Naruto.
Peter Parker x Mary Jane Watson: Screw Quesada and screw Slott! These two understand and love each other. MJ knows that Peter has to be spider-man and she fully accepts that and loves him. Peter knows that Mary Jane will always be there for him and would never see her as just a "party girl" and nothing more.
ShimGlim: I love these two together. They're both similar but also very different.
Spideypool: Self explanatory on the image.
Miguel O'Hara x Xina Kwan: *sighs* it sucks that a badass female love interest has been forgotten. She started out as someone who defended Miguel from bullies and his abusive father as kids and it grew into so much more.
SasuSaku: One of the first pairings I ever shipped. Maybe I still like it because I'm one of the few people that don't hate Sasuke. I feel like this explains it best.

Here are five things that make me happy:
Music – I listen to mostly anything: from 50's classics, anime theme songs, OPM, pop songs, etc. Listening keeps me moving and motivated.
Reading — I mostly read historical, philosophical and psychological themes. One of my guilty pleasures is reading Naruhina fanfictions. I am a sucker for anything Naruhina lol.
Drawing — It is my favorite hobby. I am an information technology student majoring digital arts but I am really shy posting my artworks. I aspire to make my own comics and become an animator one day.
Provincial life — I live in Manila (actually, born and raised), I rarely go out for it is very crowded in this city. I have social anxiety and it's very stressful going out. Whenever I visit my relatives in the province during summer breaks or even a quick getaway for a few days, I feel at ease. Being surrounded by nature, breathing fresh air playing in the river, aaaaah just thinking about it I felt relieve and relax. I wish I could go there now but we're in community quarantine. :c
Family — I grew up in a big household: together with my parents, siblings, cousins, uncles and aunts, my newborn nephew, including our 5 dogs. Our house is small, it may be crowded but never boring. They are the reason why I can bare living in the city and chose to remain isolated indoors. I like being alone but I love being surrounded by my family, I know I sound cheesy but I love them, they make me super happy. 🥺

NaruHina from Naruto:Ahaaa, I actually have no idea who most of the characters in this series are,but I do know of this ship and I just had flashbacks to when the manga(?) endedand the ugliest ship war broke out over how Naruto ended up with the“wrong” person at the end (not that I remember who that person was).I just. I don’t know what that was all about, but I kinda nervously shuffledaway from it because I had a feeling I didn’t want to know. But it was all overdeviantart and I couldn’t escape it.
…I should not have looked this one up. So, he did end upwith Hinata in the end? Aaaaah, well, what I’ve seen of the positive posts, it lookslike the reasons people ship it are really sweet. I don’t think I’ll try to digmuch deeper to figure out what’s really going on in this ship because I’d haveto sift through PAGES UPON PAGES of an ongoing ship war and I do tend to shyaway from ships that have intense negativity surrounding them. I got tired of trying tosift through the ship war nonsense, though, so I couldn’t really figure outmuch of what the chemistry between these characters are aside from how Lenaapparently is supposed to be the “villain”, but she’s doing a poorjob of it for how much she has helped Kara/Supergirl? Cool concept. If I everget around to watching this show, I’ll have to keep it in mind.

Top 3 characters: UZUMAKI NARUTO this child is the real sunshine, Gokudera Hayato bc of his character development, his loyalty, his somewhat ridiculous antics, and did I mention his character development, Sawada Tsunayoshi bc he the cinnamon roll that can destroy an island and I just love his character development even tho Akira Amano left me hanging at the end of the series like dsjsghdkhsgh.
Top 3 ships (I am a multishipper I do not understand TOP 3 ships. every ship is my ship and I love them all): KAKASAKU BECAUSE YOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, their dynamics, their character development, the many possible scenarios that can come from this pairing alone, i’m just-- bro. broooo. Another favorite from Naruto will be Naruhina. Do I even need to give a reason for this? Do I? Naruhina could have gotten better if the author wasn’t kishimoto tho just saying. Also, I’m a sucker for HashiMito, where Mito is the one wearing pants in the relationship.

Of course all the songs are great. Right now (subject to daily changes), my faves in order, and I'll link to yt in case you want to listen, too, right now haha:
"Dear Theodosia" - The way they are singing to their babies!!! AHHHHHHHHH. I could die. It's SO soft. and SO heartwarming. omg. I just. love love love this. the line: "You will come of age with our young nation." and "If we lay a strong enough foundation, we'll pass it on to you. We'll give the world to you, and you'll blow us all away." Seriously, is there anything more important than this 😭😭 And finding out that the original actor for Aaron Burr was praying for his yet unborn daughter when it wasn't his part to sing, and that by the end of the run, he had prayed around 500 times for her ugh 💓
"The Story of Tonight (Reprise)" - idk, no real explanation, it's just a funny, touching song. The line: "Raise a glass to freedom, something you will never see again." and John Lauren's "What are you trying to hide, Burr?" is so funny. Also, Alexander Hamilton's "Oh, shit" when he finds out that Aaron Burr is having an affair with a married woman. Just a feel-good song. Out of context, I now see that those lines don't sound funny or feel good.
"Guns and Ships" - My favorite character is the Marquis de Lafayette. I was so enthralled by the actor's charisma, I read the entire Wikipedia article on Lafayette and have been info-dumping this guy's whole life story on anyone who is a captive audience for me. Which has happened 4 times already. Did you know he was only 18-19 years old when he snuck away to America against King Louis XVI's orders because he was so sympathetic to the American cause and hungry for war glory? Did you know he was a war hero by the time he was 24? Did you know this? And Hamilton was like about the same age as him. Also did you know Lafayette picked up English fluently within a year of his travel to America? Shall I keep going? I can tell you more!
"It's Quiet Uptown" - This song gives me really emotions, I cry.
"Satisfied" - "From your sister who's always by your side." Anyone else has a loving eldest sister who's the wittiest, funniest, smartest, most charismatic in the family? 🙋🏻♀️ Honestly, Angelica Schuyler does NO wrong, and I am convinced based on the info in this musical that she did nothing wrong her entire life haha. Facts. Did you know she and her husband organized to help Lafayette escape from Austrian prison? (Which succeeded, except Lafayette got lost and recaptured).
"Helpless" - This song was my top fave after watching the musical. The actress sings so well. I love how absolutely gone she is in love with him, and that's basically how I aspire to write my NaruHina fics haha. This line: "I'm trying not to cry cuz there's nothing that your mind can't do." Just, the absolute faith she has in him!!! The admiration she has for his intelligence and the belief she has in his worth and capability!!! I love it.
"A Winter's Ball" - This song is very short. It also does the best job at showing that these guys were like. 19-20 years old. College age bros forreal.
"What'd I Miss" - Undeniably Thomas Jefferson has the most charisma of any character in the musical. I love the jazziness of this song, too.
"Non-Stop" - whoever said that this song is the entire musical crammed in 6 minutes is so right.
"Who Lives, Who Dies, Who Tells Your Story" - Since this idea is basically the theme/lesson of the musical, it left an impact on me at the live show. Also, yeah, I'm a sucker for recording generational history and making sure that the sacrifices of the past aren't forgotten.
"Cabinet Battle #1" - This rap song convinces me I would've learned better in AP Gov if this musical had been around 13 years ago.
"The Election of 1800" - Hamilton's drag of Aaron Burr is such a burn. Ouch.
"Cabinet Battle #2" - These lines: "We signed a treaty with a king whose head is now in a basket. Would you like to take it out and ask it? 'Should we honor our treaty, King Louis’ head?' 'Uh… do whatever you want, I’m super dead.'" lol, point made.
