if yall ever want like serious advice from me about how to solve burnout as a creative it's like...
literally ignore it. stop pushing. go do something else, enjoy your life, fill it with other things, do what brings you joy in the moment if you can.
go to the gym, take a walk to touch grass and look at dogs and smell flowers, cook dinner, watch tv with your friends, talk about your feelings as needed with ppl you trust, take a drive and blast your music, do the chores you need to do, the job hunting slog you need to do, read books that aren't for research, stop cordoning off your brain for The Craft or The Draft or whatever the fuck
forget about the project, stop thinking about it for as long as it takes to be excited again.

i should start a counter of how many times i have rewatched that scene by now.
when aziraphale runs after crowley, he turns around to face him, fully turns around, right?
his angel says come back, so he does, not entirely but he stops to hear him out.
even though his eyes are covered, we can safely assume he is looking at aziraphale while he speaks. the painful fun part is why he turns away.
we can be together.
aziraphale says EXACTLY what crowley wants to hear. we can be an US you can be with me forever. we can be what you imagined.
except that crowley knows they don't mean the same thing. aziraphale is suggesting life in heaven, something fundamentally different from the life crowley imagined for them on earth. this is the equivalent to someone telling you "i love you - as a friend" after you just confessed your romantic love to them.
you wanted to hear that person say those words so fucking badly and they did, but in entirely the wrong way. they don't love you the same way you love them.
and it HURTS.
mouth open, sharp intake of breath, he can no longer look at aziraphale at all.
look at the way his posture changes, too. straight back, deep breath, eyes forward and away so he does not have to watch as aziraphale promises him forever in the most painful, twisted way possible.
even when he says i need you he does not look back. my guess is that he is holding back a LOT of tears, frozen to the spot. when he does speak again, they both not only move on to mutual anger but his i understand also sounds exactly like my voice sounds when i'm swallowing tears.
we can be together. i need you. i love you
it gives him hope that maybe, maybe if he SHOWS him, if he kisses him and says this is what we could have been, aziraphale will come around. that he will realize they will be happy on earth and don't need heaven at all.
it gives him hope and aziraphale almost, ALMOST says it. almost says i love you. almost.
and then he stops himself and ruins everything, and crowley has to leave with the echo of his words in his head, probably repeating over and over again.
i need you.
we can be together.
he leaves knowing that aziraphale simply does not need crowley as much as crowley needs him.
he can no longer rely on him.
after six thousand years of shared loneliness, he is finally, truly, alone.

i think it is actually insane that it is considered a “controversial take” to like buck and tommy together.
like … he is canonically seeing him.. wanting to date him… is happy with him.. likes learning more about him..
and honestly? the same thing for any of his past relationships.

Huh, what an odd thing to have to consider about yourself. I broadly think I fall into the "horrifying in story, chill in person" style of writer. I think I can be scary in some situations, but I do my best not to be, especially when meeting people.
I do have quite a deadpan sense of humour, though, so I suspect a few people who don't pick up on my jokes might be slightly alarmed. Hard to say for sure though - difficult to gauge how scary you are from the inside, I suppose.

I've seen a few people complain about this now about how "they didn't give William Afton a motive in the movie"
......people can just want to kill people in fiction. Like. Not every villain needs some nuanced backstory and intense motive to want to do the things they do. They can sometimes just be fucked up and enjoy doing those things. Even in the games, Willaim Afton's only explanation for killing kids is because he WANTS to. Point blank. He created death machines to kill kids and get away with it, covered in a convenient mask of a friendly kids eating franchise.
So no, he doesn't have motive because he doesn't need one in the way people want him to. He wants to kill kids, and so he did.
