Basically Eclipse is a pirate and y/n is a selkie-turned-sea-monster and they are lovely together

(I know the sea monster technically has purplish eyes I just really like yellow eyes. Might still change this design altogether later)

I tried to keep Babbit's design of Eclipse but golly gee do they make it look easier to draw this guy than it actually is

Anyway I love Bones of a Rabbit aus with my whole entire heart. It's the softest, fluffiest thingies in the world that manages to be cute and lovely even when it's just angst being shoved in my face

the majority voted for me to not photoshop and just work on the valentines day art to be posted later in the month. and yea I will do that. but I already started photoshoping regardless. so happy belated birthday Grelle!!

I was originally making William into Sebster, plus Nardo's face shape worked a lot more for William than it did for Sebs, and could I have just imported a whole new face in there? yea, but it would have taken longer, may not have looked great... plus I accepted that in the end, I do afterall headcanon Bassy to be Grelle's side toy while Will is her main. so she would want this.

Ik that the season might be over but my brainrot definitely isn't so I thought about who will start for Germany next season and I- help

Because it's quite obvious that Andi and Hille will start (unless they get injured which I hope they don't dare) and seeing that Pius became a lot better by the end of the current season, I'm pretty sure that he will also make the team.

Which leaves us with several of really talented jumpers for the last two spots: Consti, Eisei, Stephan and Karle

And I'm very much hoping for a Eisei comeback (I mean he ended on pretty solid results in the CoC) and I dont even think it would be that unlikely that he gets included once again.

Which would mean that there is only one spot left and this season Karl did get two individual podiums (victories too) in Klingenthal while Stephan only came in third in Ruka once this season (again individual podiums).

I think you can see where I'm going with this.

The decision might be between Karl and Stephan, especially if Eisei is coming back-

Tossing and turning in bed plagued by visions (Ed Edgar headcanons that are definitely just me projecting my cowboy ass autistic interest in strange animals onto him bc he too is a strange southern man with autistic swag)

#atlas speaks #i think he keeps exotic animals. not in like a joe exotic tiger king 'I'm raising endangered mammals that could kill me in my bedroom' way #but like. he has a bunch of venomous snakes and weird spiders. his living room is just lined with shelves and shelves of terrariums #i think you see him interact with his strange and dangerous pets and it's like meeting a whole new person #he is so much less of an asshole the second he is looking at a weird bug #i think he would love camel spiders in particular. those fuckers are so weird he'd love it #and bold jumping spiders. bc they're native to where he grew up #you take him out hiking or some sblhit and he starts acting like that guy on tiktok who hunts for pythons in the florida everglades #he's picking up snakes with his bare hands like #'oh yeah this is a black racer! they're totally harmless but they've got a lot of personality ^-^' while it aggressively bites his arm #he tried showing Bim the David Bowie Huntsman once. he's like 'Bowie is a gay icon Bim'll love this' and quickly learns Bim is arachnophobic #he's waving around cane toads like 'oh my god guys look at the poison glands on this thing!!!'#i feel like he'd love eastern hognose snakes too he loves the silly fucking way they play dead #anyways what I'm saying is give him a educational nature show let him do some weird shit out in the wild it's his natural habitat #he's the types of guy to stand barefoot on the asphalt next to a diamondback to get it to cross the road so it doesn't get run over #I'm hoping releasing these thoughts into the world frees me from them so i can sleep lol can you tell #anyways he absolutely handles like black widows and brown recluse with his bare hands like a madman #he would love eel pit guy #anyways this is his one redeeming quality he is still the worst in every other way 👍

i need to get over myself and learn the languages i want to learn if i want to learn them like i just need to do it if i want to learn them then i should go out and learn them and like . fuck whatever else any of it means . yes it IS embarrassing to learn a language like the ones i want to learn as an adult but who CARES and yes i KNOW my grandparents will never want to speak to me in those languages but who CARES if it's important to me it can be important to me anyway

#had a moment last night bc i was apparently having an identity crisis which was random #but i had a moment where i was like well even if i learn all these languages no one in my family is going to want to speak to me #in those languages because of [insert reasons i don't need to go into here] and so ultimately none of this is like . cultural Really #it's just me wanting to feel as though i am connected to something when i will never be #and maybe that's true or maybe it isn't but if i want to learn them i should learn them anyway like . at the end of the day #i DO want to learn those languages and i think it would be interesting and i would love to be able to speak to people #in those languages even if the people i speak to aren't related to me and i would love to be able to speak languages that aren't english #and that all stays true even if i am not able to have the cultural connection through language with my own family #like i can go on and on about how disconnected i feel from my culture bc of everything that has ever happened in my life #but how i still feel alienated bc i'm Not White to white people and all of that is true but not learning a language doesn't make it #any better and maybe learning a language won't make it better either but i think it's a better use of my time #ALSO !!!!! NO ONE EVER GOES OH WHY WLD U LEARN FRENCH OR SPANISH [OR INSERT EUROPEAN LANG HERE] u have no real cultural connection to it!!!#so like why is it different bc i want to learn asian languages??? it's not! except in my head! or maybe irl too but i'm just saying #that i think i make all of this a much bigger deal than it has to be #that being said i did just try to look up classes and they r all for children and about keeping children culturally connected 2 their famil #l m f a o but that can't be ALL the classes ............. i'll work it out is what i'm saying and i need 2 get OVER myself #bc none of it is that deep and i can feel conflicted all i like but i should fucking DO smth about it at least #anyway i am posting this in the hopes that i can beat it into my own head bc i am sick and tired of being weird about learning #languages and i need 2 get over my weird cultural identity issues if i want to like . live a life where i don't want to explode and die
