I'm torn between, a) "this is so fucking sweet my teeth are dissolving when I think of it"

And b) "so much potential for emotional hurt, Hunk thinking he is a coward compared to his two boyfriends, Lance thinking he's just superfluous, Keith struggling with how to show affection and not knowing how to react to affection"

theres so much opportunity there for angst im going to like kill myself

i think keith definitely struggles a lot with how affectionate hance are with each other because why cant he be like that whats wrong with him

hunk sees klance argue and scrap but they still love eachother and how are they capable of forgiveness when they keep hurting and getting hurt (i think hunk forgives but cant forget)

lance sees heith just…talk. they just talk without fighting over things and just. why cant he do that. why does he dig his heels in and bite at the hand that offers companionship

Revisiting Voltron and hot take: Allura isn't actually that bad?

Like I remember very vividly when Voltron was airing, and people *hated* her. Like, you know the scapegoat in fanfics, the one that has to be mean? That was Allura. And you know, it's mean.

Yes, Allura was fantasy racist. Which is bad. But were we all too caught up in our little Keith angst to notice Alluras story? She had her family killed by Galrans, and then a half-galran pilots the lion her own father piloted. And she never got the chance to grieve because of the cryostatus. It basically just happened for her. It's a good plot point, but because everyone needed a character to hate, Alluras story got lost.

Allura also got in the way of Klance. I remember how adamant people were about shipping, so if one character got in the way they were dead. People liked Keith better, and with Allura as the competition there was no way for her to win. Which is stupid. Because Allura is a great character.

Also Hunk x Keith is better/hj

Oh yes this is for my AU I thought it would be cute to draw so I did

Keith had been away on a mission for the blades of Marmora And hadn't had contact with the paladins of voltron and Hunk got severely hurt when he decided to face Sendak alone without his armor because the other paladins went on a rescue mission alone without him because they thought they did not need full truck and they were wrong allura was about to be attacked but Hunk having a six sense to tell when his friends are in dangerous get in front of sendak attack with the face scar he has. After it was healed they finally got back in contact with Keith and he finally got around to telling him.
