How was the Mousefur “mixed” clan meeting received in BB!?
Mmmmmmmmmmmbadly
Dustpelt, Mousefur, and Thornclaw took reputation hits for the stunt. ThunderClan is the Fire Alone Clan and they got up there to put forth concerns about kittens. Lil baby kittens.
They ended up getting shouted down, any cats who leaned Traditionalist were probably willing to admit "concerns" in private, but the minute someone like Squirrelflight bellows, "BOOO" and her buddies join in it's pretty hard to argue against an angry crowd.
I need to find a better way to word this but someone should get a little bit of a sassy moment, "let's go chuck the kittens in the lake so we can unlock Queen’s Rights 2"
If Frostfur is still alive at this point, she is incredibly disappointed. She probably talks to both Thornclaw and Dustpelt about it privately, but somehow, she expected it of Thornclaw who hung out with Grandma Speckletail too much.
Dustpelt?!
"No, please, don't speak just listen. I want you to think about Ravenpaw. Do you remember what Tigerclaw made us believe about him? How they made you think he inherited more of your Honor Sire than you? So that everyone believed he was a weakness to purge for being too mixed? ...I was reminded of that, today."
Lays awake that night next to Ferncloud, unable to sleep, SUPER embarassed and hot with shame. It dawns on him that Tigerclaw probably targeted his in-law Brindleface because she agreed to suckle Cloudkit and also had an Honor Sire for Fern, Elder, and Ash.
Thornclaw never gets an apprentice after the stunt, Spiderleg is permanently his only. He realizes that he blew his chance at deputyship under Firestar FOREVER by backing up Mousefur's impromptu rally, and is one of the Dark Forest's first targets when they start recruiting in Po3.
Mousefur retires, feeling old, tired, and being publically shot down BADLY.

Runningnose
EDIT: My rewrite has come a long way since this post, it was one of the first! Lizardstripe and Brokenstar have been changed massively, so I slightly edited this entry.
As a kid I completely missed the fact that Runningnose participated in the rebellion, and assumed Brokenstar just replaced his medicine cat with a yes man. That’s why he can’t cure his own cold-- Brokenstar just picked someone who would patch up his child soldiers and not complain.
People remember him as Poor Meow Meow With Sniffles but I always imagined him kind of grimy, dark-humored, and serious. This is a guy who let a kitten die unmedicated because he was focusing on saving Nightstar.
REWRITE STUFF UNDER THE CUT
So in my rewrite, he’s Brokenstar’s truest ally, and his closest confidant. I don’t see Runny as being ‘evil‘ (very few of my rewritten characters are), but he deeply believes that every Clan should look out for itself. To him, the Warrior Code is a weakness the other clans bind themselves with.
He’s intelligent and scheming, to match Brokenstar’s passion and brute force. He covered the claws of combatants in deathberry juice to cause poisoning after a battle, and concocted battle herbs to send ShadowClan warriors into frenzies. Most importantly, he always knew the right words to say; “Yes, and.“
It was Runningnose who had an eye for exploiting the loopholes within the code. It says not to kill... unless necessary for self-defense. It says not to make apprentices before 6 moons... but says nothing about early warriors.
He probably knew that Nightstar wouldn’t get his lives as long as Brokenstar was alive, but he would never intentionally let ShadowClan go without a proper leader. He had a paw in Tigerclaw’s attempted coup of ThunderClan, and probably a little more than a passive role in his coronation in ShadowClan, too. After all, he would never leave it leaderless... but deputyless? Besides, he didn’t bring home that infected bat-- I mean... rat.
Eventually, he offers Blackstar a more ‘informed‘ choice between the Dark Forest and StarClan, and retires shortly after he learns what path Blackstar has decided to walk down. After he passes away, he chooses the Place of No Stars willingly, faithfully awaiting the return of his beloved Brokenstar.
I wanted to make my design different from the snot-nose that most artists give him, so he has markings that look like permanent boogers and eyebags. He always looks sticky, and there’s something sinister in his golden eyes. I should have made him more clearly gray though, he comes across as black-and-white but he is actually gray-and-white.

Story:
Rabbitstar is a ancient leader of ThunderClan, so long ago, in fact, that the time of his era is erased from most memories, save for one elder.
During their time alive, they were known as a ruthless leader. Though very distant, everyone started to silently dislike him after they chose Thistlefang as a deputy.
They were known to get into any battles if given the chance, no thought needed, no matter if they were sending their own warriors into certain death.
In spite of being leader, no one knew much about them at all, if they ever spoke.
Their first victim, Caimankit, was around 3-4 moons at death. While he was sleeping peacefully and his mother was away, Rabbitstar slunk into the nursery and silently snapped his neck, blaming the 'shocking news' on something trivial.
Chipmunkpaw and Mousepaw were next, a duo of two rambunctious apprentices. The two were excited to have the leader bring them along on a special patrol, and were even more excited when they heard that they were walking toward a very special surprise--not knowing, of course, that that surprise would be venom sprayed in their eyes and snake bites to their flesh.
The last kit, Shinekit, wasnt without a witness. Her sister, Sorrelkit saw them snap Shinekits neck, as such the very next day Rabbitstar received a passive-aggressive warning from Shinekit's ''gardian angel'' --Canaryfeather, and the next thing they knew, Rabbitstar was in a state of sleep-like paralysis.
Caimankit, tired of seeing him getting away with all of this, decided to take his spirit and torture him, as in just not letting him do anything as he slowly takes all of their lives. Rabbitstar could only move his eyes and flail his legs. He couldn't move, could only watch as Caimankit strangled him, gave him claw-wounds (as deep as a kit could get them, a tleast), and let him drift uneasilyin and out of consciousness.
The medicine cat at the time, Brightspark, had to ask the medicine cats from the other Clans for help, but it was to no avail. Nothing would have worked, but to be save, little Caimenkit wandered around nearby to distract them from saving their patient.
in the end, Brightspark called in Nightlake, the medicine cat of ShadowClan, known to have had the strongest connection to StarClan out of all of them.
Nightlake decided he wanted to get Rabbitstar to the Moonpool to see if they could make him return all of his lives (as none of them knew how many lives he had left), and Brightspark decided to help him out with dragging his body.
As they were about to dunk rabbitstar in the freezing water, something unexpected happened.
Rabbitstar's stomach suddenly burst open, blood spilling and organs practically crawling out across the rocks. Horrified and utterly alarmed, Nightlake and Brightspark could only stare at the scene for several long heartbeats before finally deciding that this was as bad an omen as they could recieve, and left him there.
Additional Information:
--submission by @penny-fitzgeraldz Welcome!!!
--A part of a crossover au (kinda William Afton? its a very specific version).
-- They really didn't care about choosing a deputy, they only chose Thistlefang as a deputy because they were the first cat they saw in sight.
--Sorrelkit becomes the elder mentioned in the beginning!
