oh see this is interesting because yes, kara driving a doggy day care bus is obviously in line with her character

but my instinct for an au was actually lena abandoning her family (leaning towards after having been ceo for a bit and just giving it all up) and moving somewhere to just exist as herself for a bit

so then she starts getting a little restless but isn’t really ready to science again so she gets this job because her therapist always encouraged her to get a pet but she’s not sure she could handle it full time (thanks to lillian obvi) but driving the bus she gets some excited puppy time but also only does the bus so their all day care is still someone else’s responsibility

and so at first she’s awkward with the dogs and doesn’t really know how to handle so much energy but one of the owners is a gorgeous blonde who’s dog krypto seems hellbent on getting her involved in puppy shenanigans and it eventually unlocks a relaxed part of herself she didn’t know she was capable of

(what she doesn’t know until much later is kara has spent every day since lena started talking to krypto about her and encouraging him to get close to her because she seemed sad but also so so pretty)

Honestly really glad that my store allows non-service dogs because there's nothing better than having a shitty, chaotic day at work and someone's angel of a pooch is there to greet you.

our nextdoor neighbor who just moved in is very friendly and outgoing but unfortunately his neighbor (me) is very very shy and awkward around 90% of people and maybe closer to 99.8% of men

he has like an unknown amount of cats off the street he feeds and pets and they follow him into Majima's apartment and after that they just hang around as they please :3

I am watching a movie that’s like a fun pet semetary frankenstein thing and they’re trying to make the re-alived dog scary but the dog-actor is just the World’s Goodest Boy and you CAN TELL he is the sweetest fucking baby even tho he’s supposed to be scary it’s sooooooo funny

Pics from the glamping trip (we found so many little creatures)

#I didn't get good pictures of the lake #my dogs don't like to swim? they can swim but they suck at it? no confidence in your own doggy paddle Bear? 🤔#it was glamping tho my mom hates camping she got us a cabin lmao it was cool #I found that tiny baby toad! still don't know how I managed to actually catch him he was itty bitty #my older sister & nephew were very impressed 🐸#I didn't swim in that lake tho #and you know what? my dad and nephew got leeches from swimming in it and so did one of my dogs #yuck yuck yuck #that's why you don't swim in lakes #that baby box turtle was not pleased about us picking him up but we put him right back #the dogs had so much fun but also didn't really eat well while we were there I'm sure they thought we moved into this cabin & were homesick #:: casper speaks (shouting into the void)

Lucifer went from laying on a bed on the floor whining til dad came and laid down beside him to running off and jumping up on the couch, kicking around happily and being super energetic.

Someone was nowhere near as tired as he tried to seem. 😅
