I've more recently gotten into supercorp beyond a passing "yeah I like them". I was wondering what, in your opinion are THE iconic fics on ao3 for them that you see get mentioned a lot or you think should be

hi, any chance you remember the fic where in a fight Kara's device gets damaged and she is travelling through different timelines where she sees her and lena together, but in the end it's revealed that it's not different timelines, but her timeline and different points in future
in one of these points, she sees lena and their kid and goes all 'what did this Kara do to get to see lena like this'
i thought i knew from the first part but unfortunately i don’t recognize the rest of it… sounds lovely tho

i'll ask a q - what do you think it is about kmcg's acting choices that make every single one of her characters queer af?
the short answer: her non canon characters (mostly lena) look at women (kara) the same way her canon characters do
for example:
interest
yearning
cockiness
jealousy
thirst
general heart eyes
and then there’s characters like sarah who it’s mostly wardrobe and vibes and like, normally i frown on stereotyping but… come on…
cuffed jeans and sleeves? the baggy plaid? whatever the fuck that pink shirt fit has going on? the big ass mens watch that stayed on for both sex scenes?
also there’s this totally normal look at a character she’s known 3 hours for a scene who’s camera angle doesn’t even show it

omfg the food truck au is giving me LIFE!! i’m so intrigued by how you’re going to have them meet (you may have mentioned it already at some point but my brain doesnt retain a thing lmfao)??
and also if it’s kara’s food truck that miraculously has lena having proper meals, jess would be SO pleased😂
food truck is *cue that oprah gif* EVERYBODY GETS A FOOD TRUCK!!!
i’ve waffled on the details a bit but currently it’s sits at:
lena, upon turning 18 and getting her sizable trust fund, completely removes herself from the luthor world and starts a soup restaurant in metropolis
she names is soupergirl after their local hero (kara isn’t “out” yet in nc)
eventually it’s still successful but lex does his lex thing so lena opts to move to nc and open another restaurant there, and with jess in store she is eventually convinced to join the food truck scene
cue national city priding themselves on full springs and summers of food truck events and fairs and stuff that lead to our gang all meeting and crossing paths
edit: oh and lena is horrified to discover how much she enjoys kara’s truck steamy wieners (an actual real existing truck)

that she died without getting to be the one to presumably defeat lex (before lena actually smoked his ass)

LENA
like. picture it: it’s 422 and lex has just revealed his true nature and red daughter decides to help supergirl but instead of being a sacrifice they fight together to defeat him
but now she exists in a world where the only memory that seems to make sense is lena (because she remembered “alex” but lex tainted it) and lena discovers everything she’s been through so she takes her in like a sister because they both have dealt with lex in a way not many others understand
(bonus deliciousness of having an adopted sister that looks identical to the person you’re in love with)
21. If you're a fic writer and have written for this character, what's your favorite thing to do when you're writing for this character? What's something you don't like?
so i’ve never written for her but i love anyone that keeps her alive
and don’t like when she’s killed off and then also forgotten about completely
