#hm i should make an original post tag #yes this is about tuskens #they 'lack mental capacity' to be jedi. according to some writer #which is fucking ridiculous #they have enough mental capacity to have two languages (spoken tusken and tusken sign language)#(they are usually seen being used together but they can be used independently)#just because they're nomadic and hostile to colonizers doesn't mean they're stupid. or lack the nuance to understand good and evil.#in me opinion there may not be any tusken jedi but for the same reason there's no bardottan jedi - they have their own force culture #they are hostile to outsiders and defensive of their people‚ of course they wouldn't let some foreign order take their children away #i think a force-sensitive tusken would be highly regarded in their tribe. being one with the universe is a special privilege.

Sonic fandom, if we could muster enough energy to get Paramount to fix ugly Sonic for his crimes of being ugly, then we can muster that same energy to get them to fire James Marsden from all future Sonic Movie projects after 3 for his crimes of writing a letter defending a self-admitted child rapist and then not bothering to say as much as "I shouldn't have done that, my bad" almost a month after his defense of said child rapist was made public. We can do this. I believe in us.

I woke up feeling like I was crying to sleep when I wasn't??? And my dream was about Mei from Turning Red riding a snow sleigh. Um There's nothing sad about that??? Lol

Anyway, the warm up sketches. The colors were added in Medibang. It was pretty fun, might do that technique some other time. My body still refused to recover from being bummed out throughout the day so I did house chores instead of commissions. 😅 Will try again tomorrow.

Haha #There is already a way I draw Connie's side view angle in the regular style. I need to watch Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure to reach my final conclusion on if she's even attracted to men

#girl help i keep thinking about sharpay and ryan being each others only friend growing up #theyre not very good at interpersonal relationships #romance is foreign to them. they dont care about playing romantic interests because they only view romance through the lens of theatre #fake. not real. an act to entertain an audience. so they dont understand why it would be weird #neither of them have ever kissed anyone #sharpay likes things that make her look better #because her whole life is a performance #so she wants troy because hes a shiny accessory to her #thinking about hsm 2 where once again when she tries to perform a romantic song (with troy this time and not her brother)#she still barely fucking looks at him #all of her attention is on the (nonexistent) audience #and ryan. ryan hm #ryan usually performs alongside sharpay #its usually an in universe performance. theyre on a stage. theres an audience #and all of his attention is on pleasing that audience #an exception to this is during the gay baseball song #where theres a different kind of audience BUT #ryan barely looks at them #most of his attention is directed solely to chad #talking flirting teasing being cocky and annoying but clearly addressing him directly through most of the song #first time this has happened with ryan. take that as you will #ANYWAY i can see sharpay as completely uninterested in romance but she hasnt realized that about herself #and she THINKS she wants it. because she sees it as glamorous #or maybe shes a lesbian i dont know #she might be a lesbian #the deciding factor is sharpays fabulous adventure #if she has chemistry with the guy in that movie then shes just repressed and clueless #if she doesnt shes aro #or possibly lesbian

You.. can't be like 'Miguel is wrong for thinking canon events determine what makes a Spider-person and he's wrong for saying Miles isn't Spider-man cause that's not how it works. Any one can be Spider-man, canon events don't matter'

THEN IN THE SAME SENTENCE TURN AND SAY

"Miguel wasn't bitten by a spider so is he really even Spider-man? I don't think so'

That's hypocritical.

You're falling into the exact same trap Miguel is.

By questioning whether Miguel is 'actually' a Spider-person, or even saying HE'S the one that's not a Spider-person - you're still putting harsh definitions of what and who a Spider-person is.

So what if Miguel wasn't bitten - WAS MARGO?

If he's not a Spider-person, IS SHE NOT ONE EITHER???

If that's the case - are all of the Spidersonas I see that use tech only - are they not possible?

The whole point of the series and movie is that anyone can be a Spider-person - regardless of canon events, spider-bite, or race.

That's the point.

But in saying Miguel is wrong for judging what makes a Spider-person, and then judging that HE'S not a Spider-person - you're doing the exact same thing he's doing. Full circle.

You're just deciding who is or isn't Spider-man based on past events that shouldn't matter

Miguel IS a Spider-person. That's the point. Not every Spider-person got bit. Not all of them have to be. The same way all of them don't have to lose their father figures.

That's THE POINT.

Miguel is a Spider-person. They ALL are. Him & Miles. That's the duality of the character!!! That's the plot!!!!!!
