h g tannhaus is the most tragic yet funniest character in dark. he essentially created two realities out of grief and he keeps getting pulled into different arcs of this cosmic-level telenovela because of his poor choices. god bless, i would literally also just go along with whatever is going on in the moment.

Dude be like: Oh, yes, this bearded sad man is a time traveller. I guess that has logic, coup of tea, mister?

Funnily enough, he is clearly an homage to H. G. Wells, the writer of The Time Machine, and even his character has a similar origin story to the character in the most recent adaptation.

I have a theory about Dark (please, correct me if I'm wrong): The watch that Noah gave Elisabeth to hand to Charlotte was a gift from the 1953 Tannhaus, with whom she (Charlotte) had a love affair when going back in time with the mission to rescue Ulrich. We would see this in the second season (maybe?). There's more. Elisabeth, Charlotte's daughter, is deaf. The autopsy of the bodies that were found (like Mads) revealed a destroyed auditory canal. What if Charlotte got pregnant from Tannhaus and traveled in time with Elisabeth in her belly? The pressure (that affected the kids) affected the little girl and she was born this way.

Also, Franziska looks more like Peter than Elisabeth does.

i want to know how the tannhaus family exists in the origin world like were they the same did they all have a secret illuminati base in the 19th century because they wanted to build time machines too or were they normal and h.g. just did that of his own accord . or didnt do that i guess. depending on where youre looking
