The Green family’s ties to Project Shepherd and Caulfield are really interesting because they’ve been severed post Nora’s capture. Leaving one to wonder how someone involved with one of the government’s biggest secrets and such a big atrocity was removed from the loop of legacy- how one family was torn away from the hunt of aliens and their decimation.
Which really makes me wonder how much sway the Manes family really had in Roswell- and if the plan originally had been an elite group of family elders were in on the secret and vigilantly keeping watch. If the Manes men always headed this group. And if the reason Eduardo faked his own death was to escape the far reaching consequences of going against said group and the Manes at the head of the charge.
If the Green family tried to go against the grain and call attention to Caulfield’s atrocities and got subsequently removed from the inner circle and branded as insane. Only for their children to grow up in that toxic social atmosphere and insanely grapple to prove their family wasn’t insane- but never doubting the horrors and traumas they faced. Leaving Grant and Graham struggling to archive and prove the existence of aliens.

It is a Blue Note kinda day 🤗 These two gems were added to my collection from the local record store.
I’m a big Silver guy, and it’s his sixth album in my collection now. A jolly and swingin’ hard bop perfection.
Grant Green album starts with 15 minutes long title track which is a pure magic🌟 The rest doesn’t disappoint also, which is hardly a surprise with players like these involved.

We have real characters here, and even the main building itself functions as a character, this imposing and very cold Gothic structure, always looming in the background like a specter, observing with a cold eye, all that happens within its wall.

I listen to this album EVERY Sunday morning . . . it’s one of my idiosyncrasies . . . yeah, I know. In any case, here’s the title track. Have a lovely Sunday! 🤗
