How I’m doing today: ok

-I finished my latest comic “HOLY DANCES” this morning. So whatever the thing is inside of me that pushes me to make comics will leave me alone for the rest of today.

-There is a green Peppermint Patty sweatshirt that I desperately want but it is 85 dollars and because I am stuck in 1997 with clothing prices that is outrageous to me. I probably won’t buy it.

-I stepped on a bee yesterday walking barefoot through the front lawn. I’m walking funny today as a result.

Im watching Apple TV +’s Friday night baseball and I’m embarrassed for both myself and Apple. They have no clue.

I slept poorly last night so my trail run was pretty miserable this morning. But at least I got to see this running trail spectator.

3 pages to go and I’ll be done with this damn comic I started in March. It’s 16 pages. All…humans talking. Buildings, cars, parking lots. Black and white. I already know my next comic will feature non-humans. Full color. Manic…wild energy. Little to no realism. This is also why I’m bad at self promotion. By the time I’m finished with a comic project I’m so over thinking about it that I can’t be bothered to share it with others. I’m going to try to get better about that.

This month’s Crimes Against Hugh’s Manatees Patreon exclusive phone wallpaper is a “cover version” of Gary Freeman’s Animal Brigade 3000 paperback cover art. I’ve wanted to redraw this cover for a while. I tried to make my version a little more upbeat than the original.
