So, after day 1 of my GYST (get your shit together):
Did what I wanted to in the garden - should have done a before and after photo... But didn't think of that until after I did the shit :(
Did NOT order a takeaway (the fact I have less than £1 in my account is by the by...)
Drank more water than normal (the fact I drank water and not fizzy shit is a plus!)
My body aches (about fucking time I exerted enough to ache)
And weighed myself (looking to weigh daily to start and then move to weekly as I get into the swing of things). Saturday night I weighed 254.6lbs - the heaviest I have EVER been.
Sunday I weighed 253.4lbs, even after having 1 takeaway for breakfast (I know, having a takeaway for BREAKFAST sounds insane - because it is. This is why I need to get my shit together and stop self sabotaging). But after today I weighed at 250.8lbs! Whoop! Yes, I know it probably is water weight etc, but it's going in the right direction for once. :)
I class today as a win. Go me! :)

step one to getting back on track, increasing my anxiety medication. spoke with the doctor about my anxiety getting harder to manage, and we're going to try an extra 10 mg for a couple months and go from there.
my anxiety is definitely not as bad as it was two years ago, but it is becoming harder to manage and it's starting to make daily life more difficult than it needs to be. it was time to take that next step for my mental health.

also a random completely tonal whiplash topic wise of 'well now that i'm thinking about where the phrase Pay It Forward comes from-
#sporadic warbling#discussion of hollywood being bad wrt racism casting predators and erasure#i barely remember the movie itself only the positive impact it had on me and how i want to be as a person#so i dont know if i'd rec watching it?#but the gyst is: make it your mission to do surprisingly big favors for three strangers but ask that instead of ever repaying -you-#when they are able/to the best of their ability they also do big favors for 3 total strangers and ask -them- to Pay It Forward as well#and this kind of ripple effect could spread and do so much good and cause miracles to happen to people just out of the blue#even thousands of miles away from the first person to do this in any given chain#u can see how a concept such would inform the largest most influential alter being an almost naively tenderhearted hippie type

if i had a nickel for every time i made my self insert into a soulsborne game be friends with my "chosen one(tarnished/unkildled)" oc and then they accidentally introduce me to the invater npc (varré/leonhard) and then i accidentally fall in love with them despite my ocs strong dislike of them i would have two nickles which isn't a lot but it's strange that it happened twice.... O_o

my friend saying she trusted my judgements of ppl bc "while i take everything into consideration i assume the best of people" completely blew my mind. life altering. like i saw this as a flaw in myself midst the online environment of cancel culture meanwhile i was letting these pesky feelings get in the way of being objective, but wait its not a fucking bad thing??!!?!? completely shifted my perspective on it when someone else said it. thank u.

welcome to a new series I'm calling -
trying to get my life back together after spending five days in the hospital with my little one -
or, because that's long af -
welcome to gyst, a series i'm starting (and will hopefully stick to) where i will be documenting and sharing my journey trying to get back on track.
first thing's first, sweet pea's okay. we had a bit of a scare jan 2 (yup, beginning of 2023 because of course) where she was having trouble breathing and when we got her to the hospital, her oxygen levels were at 80% (scary low, even for an adult). she was admitted, we spent the night in emerg, then we were moved up to paediatrics in the morning. she was discharged jan 6, and we're back today for a follow up appointment to make sure the puffers and antibiotics are doing their job.
today is basically a make sure the little one is doing okay then go from there.
i will be tagging these posts #bloom's gyst series if anyone wants to follow along.
my dms and asks are open for anyone who wants to share their journey or just talk in general.

#ramblings#gyst was i suddenly started growing facial and back hair ?????? like without having to go on hrt ?#its REALLY funny now that im awake but i remember being so stressed trying 2 hide it from my mom#<- bc i was enjoying it and didnt want her to know i enjoyed it + didnt want to shave (mostly abt the facial hair stuff)#not even the first trangender -ass dream ive had but this is the first time its centered facial hair
