Calcium deficiency can cause multiple bone-related health issues in both older adults, and children. Milk is one of the best and most widely accessible sources of proteins.  Increasing healthcare and dietary awareness and soaring sales of dairy nutritional foods and supplements are nurturing a promising business landscape for the growth of the global milk mineral concentrate market. Moreover, newer, and more potent products are entering the market with higher milk calcium content, and boosted absorption rate.

Changing Consumer Mindset to Boost Nutritional Product Sales
In the recent past, many governments and healthcare organisations have been running awareness campaigns to notify citizens about healthy lifestyles and diets. These efforts are ongoing in the wake of increasing health challenges caused by nutrient deficiencies. To this end, the sales of dietary supplements, fortified foods, and nutritional drinks have increased by a margin. Deficiency disorders can adversely impact the life of patients and their relatives. Many developed economies are enabling their citizens to consume foods fortified with necessary vitamins, and minerals. The demand for milk mineral concentrates is increasing owing to their varied health benefits, thereby stimulating the milk mineral concentrate market expansion.
Alarming Rise in Bone-related Disorders to Stimulate Demand Surge
The growing prevalence of several diseases such as osteopenia, osteoporosis, and other mineral-deficiency illnesses has created an urgent need to adopt healthier diets. Moreover, the increasing geriatric population is further worsening this alarming healthcare trend as older citizens are more vulnerable to such diseases. Against this backdrop, several healthcare organisations and governing bodies are conducting R&D activities to overcome the challenge. Calcium deficiency is also a major cause of concern as it is spiking the occurrence of bone-related disorders. Dairy has proven to be a highly efficient and accessible source of calcium and other minerals. Such trends are prolonging the growth of the global milk mineral concentrate market.
Asia Pacific to Claim the Lion’s Share in Milk Mineral Concentrate Market Amidst Increasing Focus on Healthcare
The increasing incidence of calcium-deficient illnesses and the presence of a robust healthcare industry are boding well for the growth of the milk mineral concentrate market in Asia Pacific. Moreover, a high percentage of vulnerable elderly and young populations is worsening these concerning healthcare trends. Key regional economies such as China are leading contributors to this. Paced government efforts to boost dairy supply and overcome healthcare challenges are cementing Asia Pacific as the leading regional market. Elsewhere, North America is also exhibiting promise owing to the growing popularity of nutritional supplements.

Geography:
Great Kettering is based on the UK islands physical geography*. Great Kettering has slight weather changes with the seasons, primarily an increase in humidity and less rainfall in the summer months. Mostly known to be cold and wet overall. Tsunamis can happen along the coast to the south, and south-east. Earthquakes are small distant shakes from the far west. Droughts are rare and only in very dire situations. Lots of coastal towns are on the coast cliffs rather than the coast, and therefore are generally safe from the usual tsunamis that occur. Boat living... isn't uncommon yet dangerous depending on the time of year (hence the phrase, sturdy like GK's fishers). Earthquakes aren't an issue just noticeable along the west border. Great winters are prepared for a lot like Solistal does.
*but only when I feel like it lol
Architecture:
GK is a mix of my personal headcanons for orcs and fantasy England. The most common form of landmark is the stone/moss circles, each with their own pattern, like a fingerprint. Generally, only those born in the area will be familiar with these landmarks without a map. Because of this, the moss circles are speculated to be linked to the orc-ish Aeons religion. Kelp forests are a special sight along GK coasts. The most well known location in GK is the sunken castle, and its bridges to nowhere. One explanation is that the coastal cliff was washed away and the castle was too heavy so it fell into the ocean to be forgotten, another blames the mythological 'Thorns' for putting it their during one of their tantrums. For a foreigner, the knight tourneys are a highly anticipated event due to the invitation of both the highest king and lowest servant. Most towns start with a safe drinking water source in the middle, market and community buildings around that, then common dwellings around those. For Kettering, the capital, there are 'districts' that citizens must get permits to build inside. These districts help with deliveries, city planning, guard patrols, and lock down procedures. Again, most towns are situated along the south coast, and it's either the direct coast or, if the cliffs are too severe, then it'll be as high on a hill they can get while still in viewing distance of the sea. On the north side of Great Kettering, it still follows the idea of the highest hills. Including Kettering, which itself has a 'natural moat' around it, although the city surrounding the castle has since expanded further around the lake as well. In smaller towns, people are clumped together, tiny and people live in each others pockets, whereas bigger towns are more spacious. That said, construction is trending towards taller rather than wider. Common structures are in the easy to acquire and transport materials, where the elegant marbles and quartz are left for Kettering or other religious sites in other large towns.
Trade/Commerce:
GK trade away seafood for different 'exotic' foods and their artisans are highly sorted after. They import from Solistal for specialty materials to craft with. Kamikita holds a chokehold on trading routes and this frustrates GK. They import from Birkina for island herbs and spices, as well as dyes for their crafts. Can be self-sufficient if trades were to be suddenly cut. The world trade is currency based but smaller store keepers accept barters... if you can talk them into it. Solistal's ores/minerals and their jewelcrafters are flaunted as expensive goods and a highly requested import. Whereas 'seals' or magical coins are the least sought after. GK's embroiders are the most asked for export.

Why Veg Meat is the Future of Sustainable Eating
Introduction
Have you ever wondered about the future of food and how we can make our diets more sustainable? One exciting development in this realm is the rise of Veg Meat. Also known as plant-based meat, this innovative food product is poised to revolutionize how we think about eating sustainably. But what exactly is veg meat, and why is it generating so much buzz?
Tumblr media
The Environmental Impact of Traditional Meat
Land Usage
Traditional meat production is incredibly resource-intensive. It requires vast amounts of land to raise livestock and grow feed crops. This extensive land use leads to deforestation and loss of biodiversity.
Water Consumption
Producing meat also demands significant water resources. From watering feed crops to hydrating animals, the water footprint of meat is staggeringly high. For example, producing just one pound of beef can require over 1,800 gallons of water.
Greenhouse Gas Emissions
Perhaps the most concerning environmental impact of meat production is its contribution to greenhouse gas emissions. Livestock farming produces large amounts of methane, a potent greenhouse gas, contributing significantly to climate change.
What is Veg Meat?
Definition and Overview
Veg meat, or plant-based meat, is designed to mimic the taste, texture, and nutritional profile of traditional meat but is made entirely from plant ingredients. It's crafted to satisfy meat cravings without the environmental and ethical issues associated with animal agriculture.
Common Ingredients Used
The magic behind veg meat lies in its ingredients. Common components include soy protein, pea protein, lentils, grains, and various vegetables. These ingredients are often combined with natural flavors, fats, and binders to create a meat-like texture and taste.
The Benefits of Veg Meat
Environmental Benefits
Switching to veg meat can significantly reduce our environmental footprint. It requires less land, water, and energy to produce compared to traditional meat, and it generates fewer greenhouse gas emissions.
Health Benefits
Veg meat is generally lower in saturated fat and cholesterol than animal meat. It's also rich in fiber, which is beneficial for digestion and heart health. Some plant-based meats are fortified with essential vitamins and minerals, making them a nutritious choice.
Ethical Considerations
For many, the ethical benefits are a major draw. Veg meat eliminates the need for animal slaughter and reduces animal suffering, aligning with the values of many consumers concerned about animal welfare.
Technological Advancements in Veg Meat Production
Innovation in Food Technology
The production of veg meat is a testament to how far food technology has come. Scientists and food technologists are using sophisticated methods to replicate the taste and texture of meat, from extrusion processes to fermentation techniques.
Companies Leading the Change
Several companies are at the forefront of the veg meat revolution. Brands like Beyond Meat, Impossible Foods, and others are constantly innovating to improve their products and expand their market reach.
Consumer Trends and Market Growth
Rising Demand for Plant-Based Alternatives
There's a noticeable shift in consumer preferences towards plant-based diets. More people are becoming aware of the benefits of plant-based eating, driving demand for veg meat products.
Market Statistics and Projections
The market for plant-based meat is growing rapidly. According to recent reports, the global plant-based meat market is expected to reach new heights in the coming years, reflecting a significant change in eating habits.
Nutritional Comparison: Veg Meat vs. Traditional Meat
Protein Content
One common concern is whether veg meat can match the protein content of traditional meat. Many veg meat products are designed to provide comparable protein levels, often using soy or pea protein as the primary source.
Vitamins and Minerals
Veg meat can be a rich source of essential vitamins and minerals. Many products are fortified with B12, iron, and zinc, nutrients that are typically abundant in animal meat but less so in plant-based foods.
Fiber and Other Nutrients
Unlike traditional meat, veg meat often contains significant amounts of dietary fiber, which is crucial for digestive health. It also tends to have a better fatty acid profile, being lower in saturated fats and higher in healthy unsaturated fats.
Taste and Texture: Bridging the Gap
Improving the Sensory Experience
Taste and texture are critical to the acceptance of veg meat. Advances in food science have led to significant improvements in how plant-based meats taste and feel, making them more appealing to even the most dedicated meat lovers.
Innovations in Taste and Texture
Companies are continually refining their recipes and production processes. Techniques like heme fermentation (used by Impossible Foods) and advanced protein structuring are helping to create products that closely mimic the experience of eating animal meat.
Common Myths about Veg Meat
Addressing Misconceptions
There are many myths surrounding veg meat. Some people believe it's overly processed or not as nutritious as traditional meat. However, many of these concerns are based on misinformation or outdated perceptions.
Scientific Evidence
Scientific studies support the benefits of plant-based meats. Research shows that they can be part of a healthy, balanced diet and offer environmental advantages over conventional meat.
Recipes and Culinary Uses of Veg Meat
Popular Dishes
Veg meat is incredibly versatile and can be used in a variety of dishes. From burgers and tacos to stir-fries and pasta sauces, the possibilities are endless.
Tips for Cooking with Veg Meat
Cooking with veg meat can be slightly different from cooking with animal meat. It's often helpful to follow recipes specifically designed for plant-based proteins to achieve the best results.
The Role of Veg Meat in Global Food Security
Feeding a Growing Population
As the global population continues to rise, finding sustainable ways to feed everyone is crucial. Veg meat offers a solution that can be scaled to meet global food demands without depleting natural resources.
Reducing Reliance on Animal Agriculture
By shifting towards plant-based meats, we can lessen the strain on our agricultural systems and reduce the environmental degradation associated with livestock farming.
Economic Impacts of the Shift to Veg Meat
Job Creation in New Industries
The rise of veg meat is creating new opportunities in food technology, agriculture, and retail. This shift can lead to job creation and economic growth in these emerging sectors.
Economic Benefits for Farmers and Producers
Farmers can benefit from the plant-based trend by diversifying their crops to include ingredients used in veg meat. This diversification can provide financial stability and open new markets.
Challenges and Limitations of Veg Meat
Current Hurdles
Despite its benefits, veg meat faces challenges such as consumer acceptance, price competitiveness, and scaling production to meet demand.
Future Improvements
Ongoing research and development aim to overcome these hurdles. Future advancements in food technology and economies of scale are expected to make veg meat even more accessible and appealing.

Exposed: Money Waste? What Multivitamins REALLY are & Should You TAKE Vitamins at all? Do This Before Wasting Your Money...
Discover the Best Multivitamin Supplements for Men: https://super-achiever.com/best-multivitamin-for-men
#multivitamins #multivitamin #vitamins
Hello, Health Enthusiasts! 🌟 Today we're tackling a topic that's everywhere: Multivitamins. Are they the magical pills for health, or just an overhyped trend?
Before we dive into the vitamin vortex, make sure to subscribe and hit the bell icon so you never miss our health hacks and facts. Now, let's dissect the multivitamin mania! Decoding Multivitamins: What’s Inside the Bottle? Multivitamins, affectionately known as "multis," come in various forms: pills, gummies, powders, and liquids. But here's the catch – there's no standard recipe! Each brand could have a different concoction of vitamins and minerals, making the landscape a bit murky. Over half of American adults are popping these supplements, but the million-dollar question is: do they really need to? 🤔💊 In places with diverse food availability, severe vitamin deficiencies are rare, thanks to enriched foods and varied diets. Sure, multivitamins can be lifesavers in certain scenarios, especially for those with specific nutritional needs. But for the average Joe and Jane, is it an essential or just an added expense?
The Multibillion-Dollar Question: To Spend or Not to Spend? The supplement industry is massive, with brands vying for your attention (and wallet). Yet, splurging isn't necessary; even basic, store-brand supplements can meet your needs if they contain the Recommended Daily Allowance of essential nutrients. A pro tip: look for the "USP" seal, ensuring what's on the label is what's in the bottle, tested for purity and safety. 🏷️🔍 The Great Multivitamin Debate: Miracle or Myth? Here's where opinions diverge. Some champion multivitamins as dietary gap-fillers, while skeptics argue they're just leading to fancy urine. The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force steps in with a reality check – there's insufficient evidence to claim these supplements prevent cancer or heart disease. And while we're busting myths, let's talk alternatives: organic compounds like Shilajit might offer what multivitamins lack, but that's a story for another video (check it out if you haven't!). Navigating the Vitamin Verbiage: Hype vs. Health Beware of bold promises like enhanced brain health, boundless energy, or flawless skin.
These claims are often more about marketing than measurable benefits. If you're contemplating the multivitamin route, a chat with a registered dietitian could illuminate your actual needs versus what's just vitamin hype. 🧠✨ Your Turn: Vitamin Voyages and Tales Now, we want to hear from you! Have multivitamins been a game-changer in your wellness journey, or do you consider them unnecessary? Share your vitamin ventures in the comments below.
Stay tuned, as our next video will delve deeper into the benefits of multivitamins – are they truly beneficial, or is it all just a placebo effect? Make sure to subscribe so you don't miss out on this vital vitamin verdict. Until then, keep striving for your healthiest life, and goodbye for now! 🍏👋

3900 BE, Dawn Era
Civilisation extends it's reach to all bends of the grand rivers now, from the Kanshu peaks all the way down to the Sea of Aevum. Orachim cities upon the upper Hewatha slowly expand upcourse with migrations to find a source, a purpose even, while those along the Rivestrella, the Internostri, instead to choose to follow the myth of the benevolent sea. Not like they're the only ones doing so. And finally we have the Visana valley, two tribes facing off to the death, while perhaps someone else slowly enters the fray. The opening moves have been made.
The Potasean people can be seen working the fields, though abnormally far from their city along the river, for they have discovered not only primitive irrigation much like the south, but also how to transport water upwards in pipes. This invention brought not only a small sect of former farmers now experimenting with how to potentially use the current of the water, but also made farming more appealing, leading many to rush for potential agricultural lands. This depopulated many skilled professions, but gave rise to widespread agriculture, producing more produce than to feed but a few families per farm, leading to a bartering economy of goods for bulk food, but also to proto-sciences in the form of water management and it's properties. But masonry and other such professions are now underpopulated and have to rely on migrants.
Within the Visana valley, the Iliket people of soon found out about an uncomfortably close new confederation breathing down their back. Not only do they claim that the people of Touraken are barbarians, but claim belief in a false patron named Khalis? The people within Touraken understandably weren't too pleased to find out about this new coalition formed against them, with even hysteria being present within the settlement. They too also heard about a different force arriving from downstream, and a threat from the mountains. These are uncertain times indeed.
The Orachi however, were having the times of their lives. Firstly, there was a boom in artistic architecture along the river Hewatha, with the exodites forming small towns centered around farming and freedom rather than workmanship in the east, making homes out of creative passion rather than to meet a quota, building farmhouses with more aesthetic designs rather than for strict purpose. Though the cities in the east weren't free from this trend either. Majestic homes sell for better prices, especially to the nobles in the city, and work as a temple builder wasn't bad either.
The Orachi people also began building temples in the city of Chalakaw, their upper echelon of residents claiming to foresee change in the river thanks to the guiding stars. People believed this, maybe because building and decorating the temples was decorative, or perhaps the power the previously already wealthy Clergy held was intimidating to say the least. This coincided with a trust in agriculture, leaving high density crops to be planted more along the river out of presumed safety. As to who spoke with the stars, that was unknown to the public for now.
We now turn back to the ever travelling Internostri, where many decided to perhaps stay in a certain small transitory village. This village grew along with the appeal to stay, of course not all stayed, but a large portion saw this encampment expand into a full fledged city, the city of Eagalb. Unlike Potasa however, Eagalb is in-between four cultures, leading to some ethnic diversity and diverse markets and trade. But their transitory traits aren't easy to shake off in such a short period, so many leave the town on the journey to the south still. But the city remains among one of the first Internostri cities, and an important destination to many merchants on their journeys. [FAILRP, CULTURES DON'T FORM THAT FAST LEGITSI] [MODIFIED LOW MEDIUM SUCCESS, 83/100, 53+30]
As the Kanshu further explore their hostile environment, they not only find mineral wealth, but also vents seemingly spewing forth heat from the earth. Many found this discovery unnerving, but the messiah waved these concerns away and had these vents redirected with additional molded piping. But these pipes were not perfect, so any houses had to be built on top of these hot spots to benefit from this warmth, same with any terrace farms. But the allure of the star visage convinced these Kanshi people to carry on in hopes... Of reaching such heights... One day. Written language was present in runic scriptures elsewhere beforehand, but we too see it's mass development with the rise of Calamity's word in the mountains.
The Osolomoni towns however, sung a tune not of ascension but ancestry in the sea. Strange fish-like creatures, not quite unfamiliar enough to not be considered similar to humans, speak of doom to passing fishermen going about their daily harvest, spreading fear amonght the coast. One night, a curious child took a stranger's boat to the sea to meet these creatures, but found only laughing storms. The boat capsised soon enough, and the child nearly drowned. Then a bright figure rose from below and gently raised the child. The mysterious, yet beautiful, woman brought the lone child to their village, to the awe of fishermen about to set off in the Dawn. She lay the child upon a humble dock, and spoke. "You May Call Me Aevum, Now Run Along."
And then, she was gone.
The Osolomoni upon the coast saw this as a sign of a saving grace, the god now had a face. Aevum. Their potential ancestor, ready to save them in their greatest time of need.
And hence, the sea was named after her, the Sea of Aevum.
But that is not the last change to happen, for Urifum people have been sent running across the region. For what reason? They speak of Barbarians rushing down from the mountains, assaulting their tribes en masse. This has caused a full scale relocation and displacement of a culture, an incoming crisis to not only anyone in the path of these migrants but also a threat, because who are the invaders? And why are they attacking? But for now, the river turns dark, and a new issue arises. A select few tribes still hold the tide however, may you hope they hold.

Manifesto for an Ecosocial Energy Transition from the Peoples of the South
An appeal to leaders, institutions, and our brothers and sisters
More than two years after the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic—and now alongside the catastrophic consequences of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine—a “new normal” has emerged. This new global status quo reflects a worsening of various crises: social, economic, political, ecological, bio-medical, and geopolitical.
Environmental collapse approaches. Everyday life has become ever more militarized. Access to good food, clean water, and affordable health care has become even more restricted. More governments have turned autocratic. The wealthy have become wealthier, the powerful more powerful, and unregulated technology has only accelerated these trends.
The engines of this unjust status quo—capitalism, patriarchy, colonialism, and various fundamentalisms—are making a bad situation worse. Therefore, we must urgently debate and implement new visions of ecosocial transition and transformation that are gender-just, regenerative, and popular, that are at once local and international.
In this Manifesto for an Ecosocial Energy Transition from the Peoples of the South, we hold that the problems of the Global – geopolitical – South are different from those of the Global North and rising powers such as China. An imbalance of power between these two realms not only persists because of a colonial legacy but has deepened because of a neocolonial energy model. In the context of climate change, ever rising energy needs, and biodiversity loss, the capitalist centers have stepped up the pressure to extract natural wealth and rely on cheap labor from the countries on the periphery. Not only is the well-known extractive paradigm still in place but the North’s ecological debt to the South is rising.
What’s new about this current moment are the “clean energy transitions” of the North that have put even more pressure on the Global South to yield up cobalt and lithium for the production of high-tech batteries, balsa wood for wind turbines, land for large solar arrays, and new infrastructure for hydrogen megaprojects. This decarbonization of the rich, which is market-based and export-oriented, depends on a new phase of environmental despoliation of the Global South, which affects the lives of millions of women, men, and children, not to mention non-human life. Women, especially from agrarian societies, are amongst the most impacted. In this way, the Global South has once again become a zone of sacrifice, a basket of purportedly inexhaustible resources for the countries of the North.
A priority for the Global North has been to secure global supply chains, especially of critical raw materials, and prevent certain countries, like China, from monopolizing access. The G7 trade ministers, for instance, recently championed a responsible, sustainable, and transparent supply chain for critical minerals via international cooperation‚ policy, and finance, including the facilitation of trade in environmental goods and services through the WTO. The Global North has pushed for more trade and investment agreements with the Global South to satisfy its need for resources, particularly those integral to “clean energy transitions.” These agreements, designed to reduce barriers to trade and investment, protect and enhance corporate power and rights by subjecting states to potential legal suits according to investor-state dispute settlement (ISDS) mechanisms. The Global North is using these agreements to control the “clean energy transition” and create a new colonialism.
Governments of the South, meanwhile, have fallen into a debt trap, borrowing money to build up industries and large-scale agriculture to supply the North. To repay these debts, governments have felt compelled to extract more resources from the ground, creating a vicious circle of inequality. Today, the imperative to move beyond fossil fuels without any significant reduction in consumption in the North has only increased the pressure to exploit these natural resources. Moreover, as it moves ahead with its own energy transitions, the North has paid only lip service to its responsibility to address its historical and rising ecological debt to the South.
Minor changes in the energy matrix are not enough. The entire energy system must be transformed, from production and distribution to consumption and waste. Substituting electric vehicles for internal-combustion cars is insufficient, for the entire transportation model needs changing, with a reduction of energy consumption and the promotion of sustainable options.
In this way, relations must become more equitable not only between the center and periphery countries but also within countries between the elite and the public. Corrupt elites in the Global South have also collaborated in this unjust system by profiting from extraction, repressing human rights and environmental defenders, and perpetuating economic inequality.
Rather than solely technological, the solutions to these interlocked crises are above all political.
As activists, intellectuals, and organizations from different countries of the South, we call on change agents from different parts of the world to commit to a radical, democratic, gender-just, regenerative, and popular ecosocial transition that transforms both the energy sector and the industrial and agricultural spheres that depend on large-scale energy inputs. According to the different movements for climate justice, “transition is inevitable, but justice is not.”
We still have time to start a just and democratic transition. We can transition away from the neoliberal economic system in a direction that sustains life, combines social justice with environmental justice, brings together egalitarian and democratic values with a resilient, holistic social policy, and restores an ecological balance necessary for a healthy planet. But for that we need more political imagination and more utopian visions of another society that is socially just and respects our planetary common house.
The energy transition should be part of a comprehensive vision that addresses radical inequality in the distribution of energy resources and advances energy democracy. It should de-emphasize large-scale institutions—corporate agriculture, huge energy companies—as well as market-based solutions. Instead, it must strengthen the resilience of civil society and social organizations. Therefore, we make the following 8 demands:
We warn that an energy transition led by corporate megaprojects, coming from the Global North and accepted by numerous governments in the South, entails the enlargement of the zones of sacrifice throughout the Global South, the persistence of the colonial legacy, patriarchy, and the debt trap. Energy is an elemental and inalienable human right, and energy democracy should be our goal.
We call on the peoples of the South to reject false solutions that come with new forms of energy colonialism, now in the name of a Green transition. We make an explicit call to continue political coordination among the peoples of the south while also pursuing strategic alliances with critical sectors in the North.
To mitigate the havoc of the climate crisis and advance a just and popular ecosocial transition, we demand the payment of the ecological debt. This means, in the face of the disproportionate Global North responsibility for the climate crisis and ecological collapse, the real implementation of a system of compensation to the global South. This system should include a considerable transfer of funds and appropriate technology, and should consider sovereign debt cancellation for the countries of the South. We support reparations for loss and damage experienced by Indigenous peoples, vulnerable groups and local communities due to mining, big dams, and dirty energy projects.
We reject the expansion of the hydrocarbon border in our countries—through fracking and offshore projects—and repudiate the hypocritical discourse of the European Union, which recently declared natural gas and nuclear energy to be “clean energies.” As already proposed in the Yasuni Initiative in Ecuador in 2007 and today supported by many social sectors and organizations, we endorse leaving fossil fuels underground and generating the social and labor conditions necessary to abandon extractivism and move toward a post-fossil-fuel future.
We similarly reject “green colonialism” in the form of land grabs for solar and wind farms, the indiscriminate mining of critical minerals, and the promotion of technological “fixes” such as blue or grey hydrogen. Enclosure, exclusion, violence, encroachment, and entrenchment have characterized past and current North-South energy relations and are not acceptable in an era of ecosocial transitions.
We demand the genuine protection of environment and human rights defenders, particularly indigenous peoples and women at the forefront of resisting extractivism.
The elimination of energy poverty in the countries of the South should be among our fundamental objectives—as well as the energy poverty of parts of the Global North—through alternative, decentralized, equitably distributed projects of renewable energy that are owned and operated by communities themselves.
We denounce international trade agreements that penalize countries that want to curb fossil fuel extraction. We must stop the use of trade and investment agreements controlled by multinational corporations that ultimately promote more extraction and reinforce a new colonialism.
Our ecosocial alternative is based on countless struggles, strategies, proposals, and community-based initiatives. Our Manifesto connects with the lived experience and critical perspectives of Indigenous peoples and other local communities, women, and youth throughout the Global South. It is inspired by the work done on the rights of nature, buen vivir, vivir sabroso, sumac kawsay, ubuntu, swaraj, the commons, the care economy, agroecology, food sovereignty, post-extractivism, the pluriverse, autonomy, and energy sovereignty. Above all, we call for a radical, democratic, popular, gender-just, regenerative, and comprehensive ecosocial transition.
Following the steps of the Ecosocial and Intercultural Pact of the South, this Manifesto proposes a dynamic platform that invites you to join our shared struggle for transformation by helping to create collective visions and collective solutions.
We invite you to endorse this manifesto with your signature.

As we have greatly detailed over the weeks and as illustrated in this issue of the Trends Journal, it is a new world order. Much of what used to be emerging markets have emerged to large global economies providing products and services that were once dominated by the United States.
Pledge your support
And as we continue to detail, much of the new world order will no longer tolerate the United States geopolitical and economic hegemony. In this section we further detail the coming death of the U.S. dollar.
India Shifts Away From Dollar, Promotes Rupee as a Global Currency
ASEAN Nations Prepare to Shift Trade Payments to Local Currencies
Brazil and China Abandon the Dollar, Will Trade in Own Currencies
Russia Ties Itself Tighter to China’s Renminbi Currency
INDIA SHIFTS AWAY FROM DOLLAR, PROMOTES RUPEE AS A GLOBAL CURRENCY
On 1 April, India’s government implemented a new trade policy designed to spur its manufacturing industries and expand its exports to a value of $2 trillion by 2030.
As part of the policy, India will de-emphasize the dollar as the standard for international payments and instead promote the rupee as a valid currency for global trade.
Recently, India and Russia agreed to accept each other’s currency in payments for trade as Western sanctions limited their sources of goods and foreign exchange.
Share
Iran also now accepts rupees in payment for oil shipments to India; Malaysia has agreed to take rupees in payment for its exports to the subcontinent.
The new policy also creates a designated e-commerce zone in India for warehouses to facilitate imports and shipments for online retailers.
The new policy is a response to various recent blows to India’s economy, including supply chain disruptions, Western sanctions against Russian exports, and being caught in the middle of East-West geopolitical tensions.
ASEAN NATIONS PREPARE TO SHIFT TRADE PAYMENTS TO LOCAL CURRENCIES
In a meeting last week, finance ministers and central bank governors from ASEAN nations began discussions about shifting trade payments away from the dollar, yen, euro, and British pound and accepting each other’s currencies instead.
The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) is a 10-country trading bloc encompassing small nations such as Brunei, Cambodia, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. Australia and New Zealand are affiliates.
ASEAN’s Local Currency Transaction Plan and its digital payment system will be expanded to allow all member countries to pay for imports with their own currencies.
The expansion grows from a similar agreement negotiated among Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand last November.
Moving to regional currencies protects trading among bloc nations from “geopolitical repercussions,” Indonesian president Joko Widodo said in comments quoted by Asia Briefing.
Among ASEAN members, only Singapore enforces Western sanctions against Russia. Other countries in the bloc still trade with Russia.
The sanctions are expected to damage the region’s cotton manufacturing industry, which employs millions of workers among several ASEAN countries, Asia Briefing said.
BRAZIL AND CHINA ABANDON THE DOLLAR, WILL TRADE IN OWN CURRENCIES
Brazil and China will accept each other’s currencies for trade payments, no longer using the dollar as an intermediary, according to media reports.
According to Brazil’s finance ministry, 25 countries now accept China’s renminbi directly, forsaking the dollar, euro, or other major currencies as standards.
The agreement is part of a larger deal in which the two countries will expand trade in food and minerals.
The agreement “will reduce costs…promote even greater bilateral trade and promote investment,” the Brazil Trade and Investment Promotion Agency said in a public statement.
Brazil and China will establish a clearinghouse for payments as well as loans in the two currencies, a move that will reduce costs as well as speed transactions that no longer need to be first converted to dollars and back to reals or renminbi.
For more than a decade, China has been Brazil’s largest trading partner. The relationship booked a record $150 billion in 2022.
RUSSIA TIES ITSELF TIGHTER TO CHINA’S RENMINBI CURRENCY
Russia has accepted China’s renminbi as a key currency in its foreign reserves, for some transnational trades, and even accepts it in some personal banking transactions.
Russia has declared the U.S. dollar and currencies of many NATO countries “toxic” and is turning more toward China and India as essential trading partners.
Western allies have also frozen more than $300 billion of Russia’s foreign reserves stored outside the country and shut out most of its banks from participating in SWIFT, the main transborder communication system for financial transactions.
Chinese-Russian trade topped $185 billion in 2022, setting a record as Russia’s exports were embargoed by Western allies and imports to Russia were similarly banned.
Before Russia attacked Ukraine, Russia paid for 60 percent of its foreign purchases with those “toxic” currencies. Now they account for less than half of foreign payments, with the renminbi taking 16 percent.
Russia was the fourth largest user of the renminbi by volume in February, SWIFT data showed. Before Russia invaded Ukraine, it was not among the top 15 users.
“A year ago, the renminbi was an exotic currency used only by those working with China,” Natalia Revenko, whose company HelpYou aids Russians opening foreign bank accounts, told the Financial Times.
“Now people use it for all types of foreign transactions,” she said, “even those having nothing to do with China.”
When Russian president Vladimir Putin met with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping earlier this month, Putin endorsed “the use of the [Chinese] yuan in payments between Russia and countries of Asia, Africa, and Latin America.”
Many Russian banks are now paying higher interest on renminbi-denominated accounts than on dollar-denominated deposits, the Financial Times noted.
MANNARINO: CENTRAL BANKS MUST NOW HYPERINFLATE, AND YOU WILL PAY FOR IT
Russia’s central bank probably holds about 17 percent of its foreign reserves in renminbi, according to an estimate by the German Council on Foreign Relations.
In contrast, less than 3 percent of the world’s central banks’ foreign reserves are in renminbi, the International Monetary Fund’s most recent data shows.
Russia runs a risk in tying itself more closely to China’s currency, as Beijing has a history of suddenly devaluing its currency, the FT said.
Many Russians apparently share that skepticism: the renminbi still only makes up 2 percent of personal and corporate bank deposits, the FT reported.
TREND FORECAST: As we have greatly detailed over the past few years, China and Russia will continue to bond closer as they unite against America’s military and financial hegemony.
It should also be noted that Saudi Arabia was the leader in announcing the cutting back of oil production and they too, as detailed, have moved much closer to China in trade, technology and commercial development.
Therefore, a major bullet to the heart of the dollar is when OPEC kills the petro dollar and sells it oil for the currencies of their choice… such as the yuan.

Hydroponics Market - Forecast (2022 - 2027)
Hydroponics Market Overview:
As per a 2015 study conducted by researchers at the University of Sheffield’s Grantham Centre for Sustainable Futures, 33% of the global arable land has been degraded in the last 40 years.[1] Soil erosion, pollution, traditional methods of ploughing land, and heavy use of fertilizers have led to the rise in non-arable land. Hydroponics is a process of growing a variety of vegetable and fruit plants with the utilization of mineral nutrient solutions in liquid, sand, or gravel while discarding the use of soil, chemical fertilizers, and pesticides. Hydroponics forms part of hydroculture and is a modern, eco-friendly farming and agricultural practice.
The growing population coupled with the decreasing agriculture land has increased the demand for food products. Traditional agricultural methods cannot handle the growing global demand for due to the exponentially increasing population. Water scarcity is another relevant factor associated with traditional farming practices. Thus, hydroponics has started to gradually replace traditional agricultural methods. The global hydroponics market was valued at $293.12m in 2018 and is projected to grow at a healthy compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 16.45% during the forecast period 2019-2025.
Europe held the prominent share of the global hydroponics market, estimated at 43.56%, in 2018. Extensive utilization of technology for hydroponics adoption has enabled Europe to enjoy a maximum market share. The easy availability of equipment such as LED lights, HVAC systems, submersible pumps, nutrient film technique (NFT), and electrical conductivity meters has favored the growth of the hydroponics market in the region.

A Guide to Types of Organic Food and The Benefits Associated with Organic Food
Organic food has been a major trend among consumers for the last few years. However, these days, organic food can be found in just about every grocery store. But, still there are many people who don’t even know that what exactly organic food is and what food items are available in their organic form. Let’s dig into the five main types of organic food available in the market and the benefits of buying them organic.
Tumblr media
Types of Organic Food –
Well, when we think of organic food, our mind normally goes to fruits and vegetables first because they are the most common organic offerings. But, there are other food items as well that can be consumed organic and have their own benefits. And, guess what all of these types of organic foods are readily available in Organic Vegetables Online.
Organic Fruits,
Organic Vegetables,
Organic Dairy Produces,
Organic Meat, and
Organic Fish & Seafood.
Tumblr media
Benefits of Buying & Consuming Organic Food –
Organic Food Is More Nutritious, Healthy and Safe –
An organic diet increases the consumption of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and essential fatty acids into your body. Most of the researches find out that organic food is more nutritious and it is also much safer. This may translate to a healthier body which is able to absorb healthy nutrients.
On the other hand, the non-organic food generally contains harmful hormones and pesticides. And, the pesticides are by nature poisonous and they're designed to kill. In fact, the pesticides can cause:
Neurological problems,
Cancer,
Infertility,
Nausea,
Vomiting,
Diarrhea,
Allergies and asthma,
Wheezing,
Rashes, and other skin problems,
ADHD,
Birth defects and more.
And, obviously basic logic says you should not eat poison. So, why not should you go organic and avoid pesticides?
Organic Food Gets You Healthier Baby –
All the expecting mothers generally imagine that their unborn babies are protected and safe in the womb. But, do you know the research shows that the chemicals, pesticides in the food we consume and other pollutants cross the placenta. Hence, such pesticides and other toxins can create health risks for the unborn babies as well.
In fact, pesticides and chemicals have also been linked to infertility problems in many males and females. Hence, if the parents-to-be choose to consume organic food, then their baby-to-be gets exposed to fewer health risks.
Organic Food Offers Outstanding Flavor –
However, everyone has different taste but in organic foods you're more likely to get fresher flavor because organic foods don't contain artificial preservatives. That means, they sit on the shelf for less time and it results in consumers getting a fresher and better tasting product.
If you talk about the prepared organic foods, they are really where the actual taste difference comes in. The prepared organic foods don't contain chemical fake flavors, so these are true to the taste of the food which shines through.
Let’s take an example: Try a taste test between organic and non-organic ketchup, when you’ll taste them, then you’ll find that the organic ketchup will taste like fresh tomatoes whereas the conventionally made tomato ketchup will taste like it were seasoned with fake tomato flavoring.
Organic Food is No More Costly –
Well, there were times when the organic food items were costly and many people used to complain that organic food is too expensive. But, when people continually purchase the organic food then it shows that the consumer support for organics and in return the companies try to meet that demand of the consumers with better and more competitive prices.
Hence, the only way to show the organic food businesses that people care about the quality and affordable organics is to buy quality organic food items very often. And, guess what, your organic purchases make a difference in the long run as well.
In fact, organics are luckily becoming more affordable now-a-days. If you consider buying organic food items from the Organic Vegan Chocolate Cake, then there are plenty of ways to save money on organic food. For instance, you can use coupons or codes to get discounts or you can buy more in-season produces which costs less than non-season produces. However, if you’re looking for the most affordable organic produces, try the organic food items from Organic Grocery Store in Delhi NCR, we bet you will get the best quality organic food produces at the most affordable prices.
