i just finished the prologue of the mota book and i don't know how i haven't seen a single post talking about how after john and gale's stalag reunion, they were then separated for another four months.
my heart is aching so bad. imagine being reunited (after almost three weeks, oct 8–26th) and having that tiny feeling of 'everything is going to be okay' and then being ripped apart again for four fucking months. 120 more days of not being able to be at each other's sides.

batman and catwoman have a primal kink thing going on so when she commits a crime and he chases her it's fine, it goes against his supposed motivation (stopping things like what happened to his parents) but I forgive him, it's CLEARLY a sex thing. but when any other superhero of that calibre troubles themselves with her it's just like. seriously?? a JEWEL thief?? aren't earthquakes happening right now, somewhere, at this very second, superman? is this really the best target for your brainwashing powers, zatanna? how about we leave that shit to actual law enforcement and focus on supervillains beyond their scope, natural disaster relief, minimising systemic issues, and preventable violence?

This was very fun to do! I adapted the context of Carla's a little so I could keep it in character— And I went with a sort of AU where she doesn't know the Tsukibros yet lol. But yeah, working with the anime style was challenging but I'm pretty happy with the results (especially Shin's)!! Thank you Nox for such a fun dynamic! 💕

fence fandom hot take, apparently
listen. idc what anyone says. the novels aren’t that bad. i fucking loved the tiny snippets of wholesome nichoji. i loved the slow burn with haiden. it wasn’t even poorly written. i feel like a lot of people get hung up on it not being entirely canon, or just that it disrupts the flow of the comics or whatever else.
but they’re still good books, and tbh i’d pick that as canon harvard and aiden so quickly. i loved them both so much and i love how the books actually gave insight on aiden and harvard’s feelings and thoughts, as well as seiji’s, not just nicholas’s / a general perspective.
anyways that being said now that i’ve finished everything besides redemption, i need fic recs :3
gimme some fluffy haiden or nichoji pining or smth to hold me over while i wait for all the parts of redemption to come out together, since i can’t figure out how to read it without spending money (bc i don’t wanna spend the money twice)

I remember being so distraught when we thought Hirotsu and Gin died, and then when it's revealed that Tachihara was the perpetrator, i was literally like "nvm theyre fine. That's his family, he wouldn't kill them no matter what" and i was right.
#i was on the fence about him going back to the mafia‚ but i KNEW that he would never kill Hirotsu and Gin#Tachihara's entire character is based on family ties and loyalty. he loved his brother so much‚ he joined the mafia to get revenge for him#even if he hated being compared to him. and this was YEARS prior to the series#the Black Lizard squad IS his family. even if he didn't plan it when he first infiltrated the mafia#and their family bond is even brought up in an omake‚ when the squad has to take care of a baby during the Moby Dick attack#so when it's revealed that Tachihara was behind Hirotsu/Gin's wounds‚ i was immediately like ''oh they're fine''#bc they're his family. he even keeps the hunting dogs at arms length‚ and doesn't treat them like he treats the black lizard squad#which is something that I noticed pretty quickly when reading the manga#he gets mildly annoyed at Teruko but doesn't like. actually DO anything about it#meanwhile he and gin get annoyed at each other and immediately point weapons at each other and act like delinquents#he and gin bicker and fight more like siblings than gin and her ACTUAL brother#anyway sorry for the rambling in the tags. i love tachihara‚ i love that he's the first to break the rules of the Book‚ i love his loyalty#i love his silly bandaid and his unnecessarily complicated revenge plot that his brother would definitely sold him for#bsd#bsd tachihara#tachihara michizou#bsd 4#bungo stray dogs#bungou stray dogs
