Everyone: Tony Stark is dead!!!

Doctor Stephen Strange: NOT ON MY SHIFT, STARK.

I've never been good at coming to terms with the canonical deaths of my favorite characters. And, unfortunately, usually my favorite characters almost always died. It has hurt me since childhood. I remember how, closing the book, I worried for a long time and came up with stories like "what if this story ended one way or another." And I remember that explosion of brain and emotions when I first discovered such a thing as fanfics, fandoms and fanarts, where ordinary creators had power over the fate of the characters. Canonical death was no longer mandatory, the last point in history. Now, in addition to the canon universe, there was a limitless multiverse of possibilities in the world for a favorite character.

So NOT ON MY SHIFT, Stark. 😐We have a Sorcerer here, and he is also a neurosurgeon who thoroughly knows the structure of the human body, therefore, by merging his art of magic and deep knowledge of neurosurgery, using the powers of stones of infinity, Dr. Stephen Strange will be able to fight off the death of Tony Stark ... whatever the cost to him.

I have an idea for little comics in addition to this picture, also I will colore it later 🙄 One day.

Bear Me No Witness

Part 2: Lineart I was afraid to actually work on this boy because I was even more intimidated by his robes than I was by Defenders. Thankfully when I began to work on it, the process became very relaxing and I found myself enjoying it as I followed the picture's lead. I even made some changes to him that he wanted me to.

For all of those who are looking to start drawing, there are two important things to remember: 1: Your pictures are living things, because they are a part of you. Listen to them when they start talking to you and follow their lead. You may just be surprised what you actually come up with if you let them lead and help bring them to life. Your mind and spirit come out in the paper/on the screen and the picture your drawing takes on a life of its own. It's important to remember that it's a part of you and you need to listen to what your instincts and inner voice are telling you through the picture. 2: References are your BEST FRIEND. I would never have gotten this far in this drawing had it not been for the references my friend @fanartka posting of the robes that Mr. Cumberbatch used on set. When you're in doubt about anything, always do your research on what it is your drawing. And there's no shame in feeling stressed. Take your time and be kind to yourself. It will all unfold for the better.

The Meeting

Part 1: Sketch: Commission for @darsynia of a chapter to her story about Tony and an OC named Leigh. This piece has been an emotional roller coaster for me since I started it. I enjoyed her description of the situation and the details of Leigh, who I can honestly say I would probably get along well with since I too am from the south. I had a really good time working on this sketch and she was a doll to work with. Half-way through it however, I realized something that made me have to walk away from it. This is the second time I've drawn Tony in a picture I've done for someone else, yet I have yet to venture into drawing him in a picture for myself. I guess…I got a little jealous, heh. I knew that if I tried to work on it like that, it would interfere with how it came out, so I decided that I should take @strangelockd's advice and walk away for a break. And something amazing happened. As I was eating a light dinner - because like @stewardofningishzida, I forget my own health when I work - I decided to sit down on the couch and turn on the tv. Of ALL the things that could have been on in that exact moment, as I was taking a bite of my food, I hear "Yeah? So how did you fix the ice problem?" and I nearly choked on my food. The ORIGINAL Iron Man was on. I sat there, stunned and watched the last fifteen minutes of the movie as I ate my dinner. When Tony said, "I am Iron Man", it felt like I could remember that no matter what, he's still my hero too. I felt like he knew I needed to be reminded of that. So, once I was done with my dinner, I came back in here and finished up the sketch and put some minor background colors in. I'm currently working on the lineart and will have it up tonight. It was meant to go out yesterday, but I fell asleep on my keyboard lol.

#DrStrangetober Day 17: Cozy Autumn

My boooys, at the moment only in lineart, but I have already filled them with color and I hope to finish them over the weekend, because what a cozy autumn can be without shades of red, orange and yellow.

I like to imagine them being a little sly and mischievous😉😏

In continuation of yesterday's post with the Sinister's daybed.

I decided to draw a little about how he spends his evenings by candlelight in a more homely atmosphere. He can't wear his full witch uniform all the time.

A version with and without glasses, because it is difficult to live by candlelight, love to read and at the same time not ruin your eyesight. I think I'll experiment with the shape of the glasses.

All my life I have hated drawing furniture and architecture... to be honest, I love drawing faces the most, but I wanted to draw this sofa for Sinister. For the first time, but definitely not the last.

I drew this sketch by the light of three candles when there was no electricity in the house. My tablet was dead and I drew this sofa from memory without reference, so then I had to redraw the armrests.

I have a whole story on 30 sheets of paper about IronStrange in the eastern medieval world, but they are only in the form of very rough sketches so as not to forget the main points of this story. I really need the Eye of Agamotto or the TARDIS to draw them all.

I'm going to finish this drawing in watercolor and I'm really afraid to ruin it, because, you know, if you leave the hobby for years, then your skills are lost.

Thank you my dear friend @blue-iris-messenger for the inspiration. I enjoyed looking at every detail of the Defender costume that you drew so scrupulously and I wanted to try it too.

I decided not to draw his cute face yet, because then who would pay attention to the costume 🙄. I'll draw it over the weekend.

I must say that I would be very surprised if I see a cosplayer who is not a professional tailor and does not make a costume to order, but tries to sew it himself. It looks like a damn labyrinth!

And all these rags should be good at hitting the face in a jump, getting confused in the legs and grabbing hands in battle, but style is above all, right, Fashionista Strange?😏

I hope they show us his story.

I haven't found any scars on his fingers yet, with all the subtle patterns on the clothes, they wouldn't miss this detail I guess. In the meantime, I'm delighted that at least one of the Stranges finally thought of changing his beautiful costume for armor during the battle, this thought bothered me for a long time.
