....i feel like the Deadpool movies should've had more of a grungy, dirty, sometimes uncomfortable vibe to them.
Because as much as the people working on it say otherwise and as much as Wade acts otherwise, it is a basic superhero movie exept the main character kills (like 90% of the MCU heroes did by that point), swears and has sex. Even if Wade says he is a bad guy, the whole time he acts like a pretty good person.
I feel like if they wanted to make Deadpool different they should've made him unhinged and upredictable, so we and the other characters didn't know what to expect from him.
One thing that personaly bothers me about the movies is also the overuse of 4th wall breaks and swearing, because the comics can go whole arcs without a single 4th wall break and when we get them they're like "check out issue 7 for a reminder" or "alright people, play *song name* for this montage" and aren't all "we are in a comics (or movie), ain't that clever and cool? So ground-breaking".
One more thing...i feel like Karan Soni (Dopinders actor) should've been Bob, like image Wade kills a whole group of guys and keeps this guy, working as Francis' henchman, alive to ask him questions while Weasel is close by, and Wade just takes him with them and calls him Bob (rather than asking for his real name) and Bob is kinda pulled around, used as a tool, and would be there instead of Colossus and NTW, it could've been a Wade, Weasel and Bob movie with Blind Al helping on this genuenly brutal and angry revenge plot againts Ajax.
...i realise this is a long fucking post so i am asking... would you like to hear my idea for a Deadpool movie?

I’m shaking like a Chihuahua
This means we might see Famke, James, Halle, and Anna back. Maybe Jessica and Ioan as well.
Oh and how could I forgot, DAFNE MOTHERFUCKING KEEN! She deserves an opportunity to play Laura one more time especially since her movie got canceled with the merger. Also if the the rumors are true and Akihiro is in the movie, then Laura should be too, and Gabby.

How would Logan react if Scott sacrificed himself instead of Jean in X2 and was the one possessed by the Phoenix? 🤔
That's a good question. I feel like Logan would've been devastated by that outcome. I know the movie is horrible, but for the brief time that anyone was allowed to consider Scott in X-3, Logan was the only person who was really torn up by Scott's death. It's a blink and you miss it situation, but I think that had Scott been possessed by the Phoenix force that Logan probably would've helped the team try to save him. Unlike what happened in the comics during AvX I think movie Logan cared more about Scott's well being and by the time DOFTP rolled around you could just see the pure joy that radiated off his face when Scott was alive at the end. I think that he was happy Jean was back, but when he saw Scott he just lit up. I feel like those two have a deep connection whether they wanted it or not it was always there. There was something between them and I think that if we've been given the X-3 that we were supposed to get we might have seen more of that.
Though I also believe Logan would've left if Scott had been the one possessed and sacrificed himself at the end. After X-2 the only reason I feel like Logan stuck around was for Scott, to be there for him and be what he needed in his grief. After he was gone, Logan left and didn't really look back. Granted Logan might've stuck around to be there to support Jean too if Scott had been the one that had died in X-2, but part of me feels like he would have left. I'm a bit Scott/Logan biased though :)
Good question! What do you think?

I feel like Neil would really enjoy helping the other foxes with their math homework or just math classes in general. Maybe it’s because they’ve given him a place on their team and him helping them with math is a small way he tries to pay them back. The only exceptions to this would be Aaron and maybe Kevin. Im not sure if y’all have even had the experience of someone trying to help you with math at the dinner table (specifically your father or other parental figure), but I feel like Neil helping Aaron and Kevin would end up like that.

The more Deadpool comics i read, the less i feel like Ryan Reynolds fits him and that makes me feel....odd, like kinda left out from all the love this casting is getting. He was really good as Wade Wilson in X-men Origins, his Weapon 11 is terrible and an insult to the character of Deadpool tho.
But when he got his own movie he was just Ryan Reynolds, and i know, i know "ofc he is, he's played by Ryan" sure but....that just feels off for me, and i wanted to know why, and i think i got it.
Firstly it's the way he talks, Ryan has this tone of voice that doesn't fit the way Wade usualy talks in the comics, his kinda high smooth sarcastic tone feels off to me. Partly because Wade doesn't sound like that at all, Wade has a very rough voice, sounding like Demi Moore, his voice sounds like wet gravel, according to Cable and Blind Al. Ellie, his daughter, said his voice sounds weird, whitch Wade said it's because of the scar tissue.
Also the way he talks, his jokes and the tone of his voice doesn't fit the DP energy. Fabian Nicieza, Deadpools co-creator and writer of most of his 90s appereances before Kelly wrote the first run, said he imaged Wade to sound like Denis Leary, whitch for the ones not aware, is a very unhinged and agressive sounding man, and it fits perfectly the way he talks.
Also Fox!Wade's humor isn't really the same as comics!Wade, movie Wade uses references, complicated swears and names with alot of sarcasm. Comics Wade meanwhile?
Not so much, he also doesn't even break the 4th wall as often usualy, some of those aren't even too obvious 4th wall breaks.
One thing i feel like the movies got right is Wades softness, he's a very emotional man, especialy when it comes to relationships and other people.
One thing the moves didn't quite get right is Wade and his violence problems, in his first comics he was fighting with his violence, his past, he was trying to be better after years of being a villian, and that change is often brought by his nee crush or love interest or idol, because he wants to be better for them, even if he usualy doesn't feel worthy of their love, yet he tries and tries.
There was a deleted scene in one of the movies where he and Vanessa were in Mexico and Wade lost it and killed the scamming doctor and it perfectly showed Wades issues.
His relationships were also all made simpler, Weasel is his fuctional friend, Ness is his girlfriend, Al is his funny roommate and friend. Back then Wade and his relationships weren't simple, he was like Moon Knight, he experimented, he wasn't very known, he was allowed to be odd and weird and out there. And i blame the game tbh, because now the movie was heavily influenced by what the internet thinks Deadpool is and the character is suffering for it now. Maybe i am just a jaded edgy 18yo but that's how i feel.
Now you're propably thinking what would my solution be, well i got a solution in mind, but you most likely won't wanna hear it...but i will still tell you in the next post.
