The two unions have now reached a historic milestone that will achieve equal pay through identical economic terms. The terms include equal pay for all competitions -- including the FIFA World Cup -- and the introduction of the same commercial revenue sharing mechanism for both teams. The U.S. Soccer becomes the first federation in the world to equalize FIFA World Cup prize money awarded to their men's and women's national teams in their respective World Cups.
more details from the article below the cut, including equalization of wc prize money, commercial revenue sharing, senior national team benefits such as retirement and child care, and equal resources for playing/training environments
The following are just some of the benefits highlighting equity between the two contracts:
Equal Pay for Equal Work
The CBAs provide for equal rates of pay across several components of National Team player pay:
For friendly games, players on the USWNT and USMNT will be paid identical roster appearance fees and performance payments, based on the outcome of the match and the rank of the opponent, with identical tiering structures. Players not on the game roster will earn the equivalent of an appearance fee for their participation in a Senior National Team camp.
For official competitions, including the World Cup, USWNT and USMNT players will earn identical game appearance fees. For official competitions other than the World Cup, USWNT and USMNT players will earn identical game bonuses.
USWNT players will no longer receive guaranteed salaries, and those who play in the NWSL will no longer have their NWSL salaries paid by U.S. Soccer.
Equalization of World Cup Prize Money
In a first-of-its-kind agreement, U.S. Soccer has agreed with both the USWNTPA and the USNSTPA to pool and share a portion of prize money paid for the teams' participation in the 2022 Men's World Cup  and the 2023 Women's World Cup. In this arrangement, the men on the 2022 roster and women on the 2023 roster will be paid an equal percentage of the collective prize money paid by FIFA for the teams' participation and performance in their respective World Cups.  The same will occur with the 2026 and 2027 editions of the respective World Cups.
For non-World Cup tournaments, the CBAs ensure that players on both teams will earn an equal amount of the total prize money paid when both teams participate in the same competition.
Commercial Revenue Share
In another first for U.S. Soccer and the Players Associations, U.S. Soccer will share a portion of its broadcast, partner and sponsorship revenue with a 50/50 split of that share divided equally between the USWNT and the USMNT. This new revenue-sharing framework will provide additional encouragement for all parties to work together to grow the game.
U.S. Soccer will pay the USWNT and USMNT players a share of the revenue from tickets sold at U.S. Soccer-controlled home matches and a bonus amount for those games that are sellouts.
Senior National Team Benefits
In addition to equal compensation, all senior national team players will receive the following benefits:
Child Care: During all training camps and matches for men and women, U.S. Soccer will provide childcare, as it has for the USWNT for more than 25 years.
Retirement: U.S. Soccer will provide a 401(k) plan for all USWNT and USMNT players, while matching up to 5% of players' compensation, subject to IRS limits. Matching amounts paid to MNT and WNT players will be deducted from each team's respective share of commercial revenue payable in each year.
Playing and Training Environments
Provisions relating to playing and training environments will also provide equal resources to various parts of the players' off the field experience:
Venues and Field Surfaces: U.S. Soccer will provide equal quality of venues and field playing surfaces to the USWNT and USMNT.
Accommodations: U.S. Soccer will provide equal resources to the USWNT and USMNT with respect to hotel accommodations for all senior national team matches and camps. On a per-night, per-room basis, U.S. Soccer will maintain comparable budgets for the USWNT and USMNT for each fiscal year for hotel accommodations for matches and camps.
Staffing: The CBAs recommit U.S. Soccer to providing a world-class training environment by ensuring that camps are fully staffed by the experienced personnel needed to provide players with training, recovery and rehabilitation. Additionally, the CBAs commit U.S. Soccer to staffing camps equally, while respecting the unique needs of the USWNT and USMNT.
Travel: U.S. Soccer will provide an equal number of charter flights to both national teams during camps for team travel to official competitions, tournaments, and friendlies.
Safe Work Environment: The CBAs implement important protections to prevent harassment and other improper conduct. The protections include player input into how they are treated and mirror best-in-class sporting medical and other treatment environments around the world. They also adopt prophylactic rules to protect the privacy and dignity of players, including the ability to report anonymously and via text.
Scheduling Predictability: In recognition of the increased focus on women's professional soccer, and the growth of the NWSL in particular, the USWNTPA CBA commits U.S. Soccer to planning USWNT camps as far in advance as possible, subject to the constraints of FIFA and CONCACAF's scheduling processes, enabling USWNT players to contribute to their respective clubs.

Snow had begun falling softly over Whitby earlier in the day, steadily bringing in more patrons to the Jolly Drake and its floor-to-ceiling hearth, century-old flagstone floor, woven hearthside rug, and a decades-long reputation for being a fine place to have any sort of drink and catch up on life with good friends.
Including the reputation of being a well-run premises with the opportunity for good food and cheer, there were rumors about its owner--Thomas Blanky, a man said to be at least ninety years old but barely looked a day over fifty. The rumors swirled round everything from jokes about a missing selkie pelt to a witch’s curse. Given that the old man was a well-established member of the community, and something of a local legend however, no one really seemed to pay it any mind--aside from the oldest of sea dogs, so unwilling were they to abandon their superstitious ways even on land.
Of course, if anyone ever had the bad sense to make a comment about it, Thomas himself would usually retort that if he were really blessed with such a thing as long years, why the hell wouldn’t he have just asked for a new leg?
And that was always met with laughter and agreement because, of course, obviously he would ask for a new leg instead. The logic was unassailable.
It was late afternoon by the time Thomas began pulling on his coat and hat to sweep the snow from the stone path outside the pub. The low-hanging sun glinted off the horizon, causing Thomas to pause--it still felt as if it was just yesterday, seeing the low sun dip just above the horizon at the far ends of the Earth.
He stopped to glance out one of the windows, caught in the memory, when the door of the Drake opened--the bell above the door gave a little merry jingle and a rush of cold air blew in, bringing with it a patron Thomas had never seen before. He removed his hat and gave the newcomer a friendly tip of the woolen wig.
“Na’ then! Welcome to the Jolly Drake.”

"Birthday, huh? Guess it's that time of year again." He's been so much less enthusiastic about his birthday since he's been shrunk, so this whole prospect of 'happy birthday' is just kind of exhausting. A sigh leaves his lips, and he groans softly. He's been so out of it today. It's already so late, and he hasn't done anything. Yippee for the birthday boy, three cheers.
"Guess I should get up or something. Got a lot of people who probably want to tell me Happy Birthday."

The Missing Danielle Drake
[Masterlist]
Tim found out that he had a sibling when his dad, Jack, finally woke up from his coma in the hospital.
He was calling for... for mom. For Janet.
Tim had to tearfully tell his dad that mom wasn’t here anymore. That mom died in the airplane.
Jack sobbed loudly, bringing Tim down to him to hug him.
The next time Jack was awake, that was the time he finally told the story of Danny, or well, Danielle Jane Drake. And she was 3 years older than him.
She was two when she went missing. His parents was visiting some science fair in Illinois that was showcasing dinosaur bones. Granted, there were other scientific branches that wasn’t paleontology, but they had been excited to check it out.
Jack couldn’t remember what kind of dinosaur it was, he could only remember the panic he and Janet felt when they tried to look all over the fair for their daughter. Two weeks they’ve been searching, and nothing.
.
(Danny saw a stall showcasing astronomy and got separated from Jack and Janet. *sobs* She ended up walking around until some girl invited her to sit with her in some weird van because Danny wouldn’t stop crying.
The Fentons came to a wrong conclusion that Danny was left behind at the fair, but then they’ve seen how happy Danny was with Jazz, and how Jazz just seemed to love and care for the younger child, and decided to adopt Danny.)
.
They didn’t want to have another child after that.
But Tim came as a surprise. And, from their first scare, they couldn’t bring themselves to care for him like they should. They thought if they took care of Tim, he’d disappear forever. So, he was left with caretakers and nannies for most of the years, while they concentrated mostly on their work.
Jack apologized to Tim, apologized for how he and Janet treated him. And now that Jack lost another person, he couldn’t bare to lose Tim.
Tim decided then and there that he will take care of his dad.
.
He is reminded of his sibling months later, death after death until Tim was laid close to a Lazarus Pit while Ghost performed a splenectomy.
Ghost observed that the Pits seemed to call towards Tim.
Meanwhile, while Tim was unconscious, his soul didn’t seem to be. Within his dreams, he saw... he saw his mom, and his dad... and.... a man who was right beside them, smiling contentedly as he conversed with his parents.
He looked like some kind of monarch who ruled over the galaxies.
Then, the man turned towards Tim. And he smiled.
“Little brother,” he heard the man whisper, which echoed throughout Tim’s dream.
The last thing he sees were Lazarus green eyes...
He didn’t think such eyes could be so kind.
And then, he woke up.
