Me bitter because Alfred Molina has been in a good handful of Disney movies but the only one he has a main character role is in The Sorcerer’s Apprentice.
Then he hasn’t been in a DreamWorks Animation LLC movie, but he’s been in THREE DreamWorks Animation Television shows and in one made such an impact that he’s the favorite villain of the franchise.

the current state of the entertainment industry is so fucking depressing man. it feels like a never ending cycle of projects being cancelled before they have a chance to truly flourish because companies fear originality and will do anything to make a quick buck. it doesn’t matter how fantastic a show is, how many fans it’s accumulated, nothing is safe. creatives are overworked, underpaid and under appreciated, and in some cases find out that they’ve laid off on social media (!!!). they have to turn themselves into commodities to have a chance of being seen. creators of shows have had to pirate their own work. the arts are such an important and valuable part of society, but the fast-paced soulless corporate world doesn’t see the true beauty of it, and now the threat of ai looms over everything. i really hope that things will change soon, because there is so much talent out there that deserves to be in the spotlight

So I watch Puss in Boots today and I’d heard a lot of things about the animation and the wolf character.. but why is one talking about Goldilocks?? This is the best genuinely spunky female character I have seen isn’t played as overly-annoying to everyone around her! She naturally charismatic and so fun!! I WISH I had something like this growing up. (It’s also the closest I feel I will every get to seeing Camicazi from the HTTYD books on screen)

So, DreamWorks Animation is working with Peacock to make more installments in Megamind's franchise after all! Terrific! Just one question though: After seeing the official trailer myself, would it really kill them to make the animation just a biiit better? 🤏🏼

Some Newer Cartoons I've Discovered
I just got back from a trip I went on see a Sonic Concert in Kansas City, Missouri. Took a whole lot of photos and went on several adventures, but also, in my hotel room, I ended up forgetting my laptop's power cord (d'oh!), so when I wasn't out on adventures, on thing I did for fun was to just relax and watch TV in my hotel room, and I got to see some newer cartoons! And I really liked a couple of them so I wanted to share.
Tumblr media
One I saw was a cartoon based on that Home movie Dreamworks made. I've never seen the movie but I quite enjoyed this cartoon. The art style is simple but fun, with a lot of really goofy expressions and wild takes on the characters. But best of all, the stories I saw were a solid blend of good humor and wholesome sweetness. The channel I saw it on was called "Universal Kids".
Tumblr media
Kiff is another cartoon I actually got to watch before on Disney+ with our friend Charlie once, and I found it really cute. I got to watch some more during my vacation because it was on the Disney Channel Saturday morning (Saturday morning cartoons are still a thing, yay!) It's about a goofy squirrel named Kiff, and her rabbit friend (I don't remember his name). They're both very silly and lovable, and their world is full of fun and adorable animal characters. A good show!

EXCLUSIVE: Thurop Van Orman,Pedro Eboli and Mark Satterthwaite Set Series Development At Disney Television Animation
After a day of animation reveals from the Annecy Film Festival we have some exclusive news as a aftermath, Disney Television Animation has set development orders for two potential new animated series likely for Disney Channel from three prolific creators.
One of the two new development.series come from the minds from Pedro Eboli (Netflix “Cupcake and Dino: General Services”,Cartoon Network LATAM “Oswaldo”, Nickelodeon “Ollie’s Pack” and Discovery Kids LATAM “Bada Bean”) and Mark Satterthwaite (Netflix “Cupcake and Dino: General Services”, Nickelodeon “Ollie’s Pack” and Amazon Prime Video “Gary and His Demons“)
Eboli had a overall development deal with Disney TVAon 2019-2021 however due COVID-19 cuts at Disney BTV, Eboli was dropped alongside Ben Baliresti and S.H Cotugno however Eboli has returned on June 2023 for a second chance with Disney TVA for a potential Disney Channel show.
The second series being developed comed from the mind of Thurop Van Orman (Cartoon Network Studios “The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack”,Dreamworks Animation Television “Home: Adventures with Tip & Oh“ and Sony Pictures Animation “The Angry Birds Movie 2“). The development of this series gets back on track with a rejected Disney XD pilot from 2016, the pilot was passed on 2016 alongside Very Important House and Douglas Furs due  a executive change at Disney Channel’s Worldwide on 2015-2017, meaning that the new Disney Branded Television CEO and Disney Television Animation VP of Development and Current Ayo Davis gave a second chance to Orman’s pitch and pilot for a potential Disney Channel show.

Headcanons you're willing to share?
Let's see, the ones that pop in my head at this moment are of Race to the Edge and The Owl House. Amonos!
Gus was moved up a few grades because Principal Bump realized his capabilities, reminded him of Eda and just how powerful she was, and gave him an opportunity Eda couldn't get back then
King having something that turns him to full power is not far off
Caleb was the actual creator of the portal door
Someone else had the curse before Eda, hence why there's only one existing elixir
The curse is an incidental gift of immortality, because if not even beheading kills you then while you lose your original form you still live on in the beast
The red face thing for Amity was originally incorporated in regards to Mae Whitman, her VA, who also voiced Tinkerbell, who also had titular red face
The Dragon Eye had information on Night Furies that was never shown
Viggo knows more about Hiccup than he lets on, because he'd heard it from Ryker who heard it from Dagur, who'd continuously talk about Hiccup
