Thankfully I'm not hungover anymore and I was at the Reload festival this weekend and yes
It was amazing, I had the chance to see a lot of bands I couldn't see for whatever reason the past year, such as Trivium, In Flames or 100 kilo herz.
I think the absolute weirdest experience was Sleep Token. I can't even describe how absolute fucking insane seeing them life was. I'm not that much of a Sleep Token Fan but that was just. Insane. I loved every minute of it. And I'd advise everyone if they're on a festival where they play to got see them. I did not take a picture tho because. I was just too into whatever the hell was going on on the stage to realize that I should have taken a picture.
Generally I took like five pictures. Probably because Saturday after 4pm I was just too drunk to take a picture that did not look like this
(the only I took after seeing Sepultura (their show made me a trash metal fan. I'm usually no trash metal fan but seeing them and that energy I literally get it now))
I'm sorry Falk i didn't do you justice but also I was standing in the front row and was just trying to kind of get the amount of crowd surfers over the barricade like you do.
My other three pictures were a pretty good one of 100 kilo herz who did get far less stage time than they deserved but I'm not in charge of the time table, one of the welcome home sign and the stage background picture however you'd call it of Trivium because if looked so fucking cool and in contrast to like all the other ones, besides Guano Apes, was pretty colorful

Also ideal festival if you like it if it's not that much people but generally too short. Could have been longer but like I get that it costs more, especially for a smaller festival, to get the bands for more days. The weather was ideal. Not that warm but not too cold to camp. Not too sunny but not stormy full time.
There was a rainbow while Guano Apes.
9/10 for the festival generally but on the infield you could only buy becks. That was not that great especially if you don't drink cocktails

I know it sounds like platitudes when I say#that everyone was super nice and talented but REALLY. People were so kind to me and somehow I became well known despite#my art and writing and me in general still being immature and hashtag cringe#I found my creative legs and#people would respond to my stuff with walls and walls of support in the tags and we would do exchanges and events every year#I made my first lyric comic and it’s still doing extremely well on YouTube even today!! my dad who passed away recently always loved it#and my favorite RvB writer came out of hibernation to write me a bunch of text wall asks about it#I’ve never had another fandom experience quite like RvB#I still keep in touch with many of my friends from that time period even though we’ve all moved on the other things#these guys will always always have a place in my heart#so long reds and blues….

Quackity: Oh, it's gonna be so cool to see how this develops. I'm excited, I'm gonna try my best. I'm not the greatest at Minecraft whatsoever, I did nerf Green Team a little bit by accident on the second day. My bad! But, you know, I'm so ready to just grind out and see what we can do, and I just–
I wish everyone saw it with the same amount of, like, kind of enthusiasm. I think all of this and all the development and all the potential arcs, that's going to fcking allow for something absolutely incredible.
And if anyone ends up clipping any of this, something I do want to say is I implore people to view everything with a lot of enthusiasm. No stress, no anxiety, just a lot of enthusiasm. Because, again, this is going to allow for a lot of cool things in the server. Not just now, but in the future, too.

This is a piece about chronic fatigue although the original idea i had for it drifted a bit as soon as I started coloring the linear#(i really enjoy shading and lighting things and got a bit carried away here but i stand by my choice because this is my favorite thing#that i've ever drawn)#anyways. i often feel especially lately with school being back in season that my bones are leaden with this sort of. weariness. theyre heav#it weighs on our mental health and energy a lot and although there's a couple of reasons we have been given for it#that doesn't remove the fact that this is still a thing that affects us in a very real way day to day although we are good at masking it.#often i come home to find that i do not have the physical mental or creative energy to work on things i really want to#especially project: nexus which i feel extra bad about even though i can't help it because i just started it so recently#it is a mild to moderate struggle to make it day to day and i just. wanted to represent this somehow#my original concept for this was a skeleton with some black goop gunk whatever leaking from its joints#but as i started adding the cracks and coloring them gold (a personal touch; kintsugi is a concept that is very dear to us)#i realized that the focus here was less on the condition itself and more on the body that it afflicts.#so i put it into a spotlight.#ironic i know since very little people acknowledge this irl or even know it exists at all but i added rim lighting. I added color gradients#I colored the lineart and made it all fancy and even added a flare for the head to get the point across that even at its core; disability i#a performance. this is not implying that disabilities are fake in fact this is the opposite of that. i wanted to show that with disabilitie#especially i think in my personal opinion the invisible ones#we are all masking at least a little bit during the vast majority of the day. humans are social creatures and it is only when we are alone#or with someone we deeply trust where we allow ourselves to be who we truly are without fear and even then that can be rare#so i wanted to show this bit of the soul in as broad a limelight as i could. idk this is a really abstract piece and i dont know if anyone#will even get it but it matters to me at least. and even though we've been largely bedridden for the past week i think that's okay#we will get it figured out. all of us. okay? okay. i love you. i fucking love you. we are going to fucking make it#(also the xes over the eyes are because i thought they looked cool they have no deeper meaning at least i think they dont#actually i think they do but i cant put it into words idk.
