Do u know of any good face masks? I wanna pamper myself and it's been a loooong day
Unfortunately, these are all products that you will have to go out there and purchase yourself. I am a huge fan of face masks, but have oily skin so I’ve never used a homemade one. Here are my favorite five, ranked in terms of the qualities that one might look for in a face mask.

Dead Sea Mud Mask: Guys this is my absolute FAVORITE mask ever. Ideal for all skin types, and leaves my oily-ass skin feeling smooth as silk. Lots of face masks dry on your face in an unpleasant way, and this one doesn’t tighten your skin as it dries, so nice. Absolutely luscious and this little tub lasts forever! I regularly use this mask (at least twice a month) and have had it for a year and a half.
Smell: No smell
Look: Dark gray. You will look ridiculous.
Skin type: All.
Removal: Easy, simply wash off.
Effectiveness: 1-2 days of soft skin.
Shea Moisture: Ya’ll know that Shea Moisture is my favorite product brand. I do not personally have sensitive skin, technically the mud mask for my skin would be the African Black Soap one. But I hate the smell of that specific product line, so I took a chance with the Rose Oil Complex. Smells so good. Feels amazing.
Smell: Rose scented
Look: Light gray.
Skin type: All.
Removal: Easy, simply wash off.
Effectiveness: 1 day of soft skin.
Black Heads: I love this mask! It’s the most effective mask I’ve ever used. That said, here are some caveats. Before buying it, I was reading the product reviews where people were commenting on how painful it is. I don’t find it that painful, but it is one of those masks that you have to peel off your skin. Had a wax before? It doesn’t hurt that badly. But it’s not easy to take off. Also, it smells. Like really bad. And it tightens your face to the point where you can’t really talk while wearing it. But let me tell you. The pain is worth it.
Smell: Faintly rubbery.
Look: Black. Like car tire black.
Skin type: Oily.
Removal: Peel off your face. Wash off bits you can’t remove.
Effectiveness: 3+ days of amazing skin. My face feels amazing for a week.
CVS Brand: I know what you’re thinking, but don’t. CVS makes hella face masks that smell and feel amazing, and are perfect for all skin types. And they’re super cheap! Especially if you buy them in tubes instead of packets. The one issue that I’ve found is that they take a bit longer to dry then your traditional mask, not sure why. Possibly because they’re more watery. I recommend the avocado/oatmeal face mask. Please do not use their sugar scrub if you have oily skin! You will break out.
Smell: Lightly scented.
Look: Varies. The avocado/oatmeal is lime green and the sugar scrub is black.
Skin type: All.
Removal: Easy, simply wash off.
Effectiveness: 1 day of soft skin.
Dr. Brandt: Hardcore exfoliator! You wash your face, actively rub the exfoliator into your skin, leave it for five minutes, and then rinse. Amazing results! Smooth, even skin that glows. Definitely not for sensitive or dry skin! No doubt, this is an expensive product. I got a trial version when I used BirchBox, and I’ve gotten several uses out of it. But it does the trick, and you should be exfoliating at least once a week. Please. Do it for your face.
Smell: Chemically.
Look: Clear beads. Almost like a lotion.
Skin type: Oily.
Removal: Easy, simply wash off.
Effectiveness: 3+ days of soft skin.
