This was it guys! He appeared near the beginning and I watched the whole thing thinking he'd come back - I should have known. But with this as his only bit, we can pretend he lived.
This movie is...not great. Intertwining lives of the stripers that work there yada yada yada. Our little buddy is listed as "drug buyer" but...i think he was actually selling the drugs? It doesn't make sense for Jennifer Tilly's character to be selling drugs...but who the fuck knows, honestly.
I'm trying to remember all of the storylines and it's like...Jennifer's Tilly's character is a drug addict, Daryl Hannah is also probably a drug addict, Sandra Oh's character want's to be a writer, one wants to be a singer, and from what I can tell another one wants to get back with her bf (who is played by Elias Koteas - Casey Jones TMNT or Al from Chicago PD). His character might have been dead...but it was unclear.
I own this movie now, by the way. Hope he's getting some residuals!

also i saw he's gonna be in another yet untitled martin mcdonagh film with oscar isaac and christopher walken… slay
i really liked mr right it was VERY silly but he and anna have such good chemistry in it
one i'd really recommend is Laggies! he plays a very tired very hot single dad and he and kiera knightly are extremely sexy together because they are sam rockwell and kiera knightly
The Way Way Back was cute, it's a coming of age film where babygirl plays a lifeguard at a water park who takes this kid under his wing for the summer and teaches him to give less of a fuck, he and maya rudolph flirt a lot and steve carell and toni collette are in it, also here are some choice reviews from letterboxd
let's see ummmmm oh Jojo Rabbit was great! i know a lot of people hate it but they're wrong (if you don't like it you're so correct and valid in your opinion), sam's really really excellent in it and he's blind in one eye and i have a big thing for that (he does play a nazi (who's gay for alfie allen and i assume just gay in general but mostly for alfie allen) which i do not have a thing for)
he stars in Choke as a sex addict which is a novel by chuck palahniuk and in the film adaptation sam plays a sex addict, it is not a good movie but sam rockwell does play a sex addict in this, the sex addict movie in which sam rockwell stars
admittedly there are a lot i haven't seen, here are a few that are on my list but aren't on yours:
- Fosse/Verdon (actually a mini series) where he plays the titular bob fosse and gets to show off his very real dancing skills, i've heard michelle williams is also amazing in it
- The Green Mile, based off the stephen king novel, where he plays a murdering psychopath
- The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford (I just know he's in it idk what he does)
- The Winning Season, it looks cute, he plays the coach of a girls basketball team
- Richard Jewell, which had one of my favorite trailers I've ever seen, I believe he plays Richard Jewell's lawyer
i genuinely cannot recommend Blue Iguana EXCEPT for sam rockwell being in it, it is a terrible film, however according to letterboxd he and ben schwartz are making another film together so fingers crossed for that
there's so many more things he's been in but he should be in more things in fact i have a contract right here that says 'sam rockwell will be in everything i watch' but i can't get him to sign it no matter how many times i ambush him or break into his home

1. Are you named for anyone?
Technically yes. My middle name is a biblical one, and also my…. Aunt?? Cousin? I’ve met her but I think she’s my dad’s first cousin and I don’t know what that means I am to her.
2. When was the last time you cried?
Like… what type of cry? Sobbed? End of December. Cried? About a week ago. From laughter? Sunday night. My brother was building a clearance gingerbread house and the icing said “made in a nut free facility” and my brother leaned over to me and said “so no men there?” And I lost it. Later he just fucking leaned over and started to hands free eat the house and I lost it again. Just little tears? Last night. I saw an instagram reel and I got misty eyed. I don’t remember what it was about.
3. Do you have kids?
Haha no. I’m not strictly opposed? But I’m not fucking doing that by myself and relationships are real low priority to me.
4. Do you use sarcasm a lot?
I used to more. Not so much anymore?
5. What’s the first thing you notice about people?
Mostly what they’re doing. And then if they seem happy or not.

Honestly neither but I guess happy endings. But not inspiring movies. I fucking hate inspiring movies I spent enough time in church having my emotions manipulated I’m not fucking paying to sit and do it again. Miss me with that shit.

Talent? Uh, I have super flexible shoulders? I guess I would consider my natural aptitude to figure shit out as a talent? Other things I would consider as skills cause I worked for them. So like crafts and my flexibility and writing.
9. Where were you born?
Florida.
10. What are your hobbies?
You don’t have the time to have me list them. And they rotate pretty frequently. But!! I just got a drop spindle and I’m currently obsessed with it. But crafts are definitely a constant. Any craft, I’ve probably tried it once. I’m really not kidding.
11. Have any pets?
Not at the moment. I want rats someday but I’m so busy I wouldn’t be able to give them a good life 😞
12. What sports have you played?
As a child: basketball, soccer, football (like American football lol), tennis, cheerleading.
As an adults I’m pretty active but not really in organized sports. Now I’m doing mostly running, gymnastics, and pole dancing.
13. How tall are you?
5 foot….. 5??? 6???
14. Favorite subject in school?
I honestly liked most of it. I hated geometry tho. One I always wanted to do was Linguistic but alas, FL state law kept me from doing it. 😭 (not that like linguistics specifically is illegal, google excess credit hour laws)
15. Dream job?
Hahahah i don’t even know. I don’t particularly want to work. However I wish I could do animal education at a zoo. I would love that. I would love just answering questions about iguanas.
Oh. Oh wait… my like, dream unbelievable never going to happen job would be an acrobat. Fuck. When I was younger interacting with circus related material like movies or books or even color palets would make my heart hurt. Like sometimes I couldn’t interact with it because it just hurt so much. It’s just so cool and fucking magical and mesmerizing. I loved it. And even at like 15 I thought it was too late for me to ever be a part of that world.
And then when I turned 22 and had a fucking life meltdown, I was watching fucking unus anus and heard Ethan talking about gymnastics and decided to just… try something. And I quickly found out it wasn’t too late?? That I still had a chance to learn and try and experience circus arts??? Now I’ve tried acrobatics and aerial silks and contortion and pole and got on a trapeze once. And now it’s my motivation for how I take care of myself. I have to eat food and move my body and take care of myself. I have to because if I don’t I’ll never be able to try lyra/aerial hoop. I gotta keep going because I’ve got pole on Wednesday and I’m so close to the body spiral.
When I get emotionally low I remind myself I gotta keep going so I can get back to my circus arts.
(Please note I know circus haven’t always been good and nice and happy places. I get it. I know. I’m not talking about that)

What do you think it’d be like to go to P.R with Joe?
Oh gosh where do I start, this is basically going to be like a headcanon lol but I think it’d be such a special intimate experience. I think he’d be super excited to go and would be pretty culture shocked at certain things over there. He’d probably really really enjoy El Yunque and would definitely not want to leave that amazing fresh cool rainforest water after the long hikes to get to them. He’d for sure be amazed at how many iguanas there are everywhere and would probably try to touch one or two lmao. I see him asking a billion different questions about things especially the history of certain places and trying his best to communicate with the locals and appreciating their kindness and knowledge.
He’d also be soooo nervous and overwhelmed at the driving and roads over there! Especially going up the mountains and would totally make you drive instead more than half the time. He’d probably be intrigued by the way people modify their cars and how loud they are as well lol. He’d also be surprised but would love how many food places there are at every corner & how good they are. He’d be super jealous how different & better our fast food is too. Joe would also underestimate the sun and heat and would probably be drinking 10 bottles of water a day and get sun burnt by the third day lmao.
He’d also love the beaches and the restaurants that are always near by and would probably buy sooo much of the “Helado” (sherbet like ice cream) sold on the beach to the point he’d probably get a tummy ache and you’d have to slow him down on it. But once you get too Old San Juan? That’s where he’d fall in love completely with the island, he’d love walking the very colorful historical streets filled with music and the smelll of delicious foods along with locals dancing and enjoying themselves. He’d spot the Piragua (snow cones) cart and would definitely be intrigued at how they shave the ice and would definitely end up having a purple or blue tongue and mouth like a child lmao. Then once you’d get to El Morro you’d be cracking up at the way he’d be out of breath exploring the large fort even though he’s an athlete and you’d definitely be taking many video’s laughing at his 5 minute breaks.
Then later on a breezy warm evening you two would get dressed nicely together and enjoy a fine dinner over looking the ocean and he’d definitely enjoy a nice drink and cigar. Then when it came to the day you two were set to leave he’d surprise you with a few more days on the island because he didn’t want to leave yet.
