So do women compare c-section with Tummy tuck.

In contrast to a vaginal delivery, a C-section involves making a surgical incision in the mother's abdomen and manually extracting the baby. Recovery from a C-section procedure typically takes longer because sutures are used to close the incision during a C-section delivery.

Our baby girl turned 6 months the other day. Time really is flying! I’ve been doing these monthly pictures so that we can see how she changes every month in the first year because the changes are huge! Everyday gets more interesting and more exciting. She’s now sitting up and rolling over and “smiling” for the camera. What was your favourite age/time during the first year with your kids? . . . #canadianblogger#canadianmommyblogger#canadianmomblogger#momblogger#runnerblog#cutebabiea#babiesofinstagram#canadianbabies#athomeworkout#travelbabies#fitnessblogger#health#healthblogger#momlife#momlife101#healthyliving#mommyandme#momandbabygirl#csectionrecovery#csectionempowerment#sixmonthsold https://www.instagram.com/p/B0YOlrnl5jy/?igshid=1nazo7v9pdth8

This #littlebaby and I have been on a straight up journey. We are both discovering ourselves and each other. She trusts me with her life to not bring any harm her way. She arrived two weeks early and was giving my body a run for its money. I was gaining about 15-20lbs every week at the end of my last trimester, my blood pressure had reached over 200/180 and I couldn't sleep. She was #breached and active. Sometimes I felt like I couldn't breathe then who was born. I was in so much pain after my #csection. I was scared and felt inadequate. I felt dejected because the people I counted on the most left me high and dry and here I was with a new baby with little guidance. I struggled the first few weeks trying to #breastfeed and decided to dedicate any energy I had to #breastfeeding her. Her she is at 9 months, still preferring #breastmilk, being extremely talkative and aware and she's just so tall and beautiful and now she is starting to walk. A few more months, she will be a whole year. #breastmilk #breastfeedingmama #blackbreastfeeding #firsttimemom #blackmommyblogger #blackbabiesarebeautiful #blackbabiesarethecutest #postpartumdepression #postpartumjourney #csectionbirth #csectionmommy #csectionrecovery #csectionbaby #mommyandme #momsofinsta (at Newark, New Jersey) https://www.instagram.com/p/BzimLNzF4mR/?igshid=1v3bbtcn4kbcj

Hey everyone! 🙋‍♀️ . This Friday just gone officially marked my 6 weeks post baby - time is flying! Because I had a C-section, I haven't been allowed to excersise, lift anything, or even drive my car, so it's been really nice to have that little bit of freedom back again 😍👌 . I have my 6 week check on Wednesday to clear me for excersise; I've had some pain around my scar and had a big abdominal tear during pregnancy, so hopefully everything has healed enough to get cracking with physio! 💪 . I started with the first of what will be many deep tissue massage sessions yesterday, and although it hurt - you can't rebuild without clearing the rubble first, am I right?! 💁‍♀️😁 . Feeling super positive about getting my strength and fitness back again, and then the next step will be getting back on a horse. I can't wait!! . We've re-booked our fence man to do a big job at the farm which I'm super excited about, and once that's all done I'll have some more really cool news to share with you guys! . Wish me luck for Wednesday - I'll keep you all posted on how I go. Bring on the next step in our journey! 💪😁 . Big love, K 😘 xx . #fitness #physio #postpartum #postpartumfitness #weighttraining #equestrianmum #postbaby #csectionrecovery #offthetrack #offthetrackthoroughbred #exracehorse #ottb #racingvictoria #ottbdressage #thoroughbred #dressagehorse #dressagetraining #showjumper #eventer #acknowledgedretrainer #horsetrainer #horsetraining #dressagetrainer #racehorse #ottbretraining #horseproperty #equestrian #equestrianlife #equestrianblogger #ottbjourney (at KRequestrian) https://www.instagram.com/p/CL3L-iQH1g6/?igshid=fb8te8z6asnm

••• Regram from @thebirthhour This C-section recovery photo and message is so important to share. Thank you @littlewhale3 ・・・ "I remember when I had my first baby at 25 I was so worried about people thinking I was 'fat' after, of all the things?! I was so young and naive, not able to comprehend the beauty that my body had just accomplished. 5 pregnancies, 1 vaginal delivery, 3 c-sections later, I finally get it. I see the human body in a different light, I see myself in a different light. I have curves in new places, bumps and lumps and scars. Scars some would view as 'ugly'. I grew tiny little perfect people. I'm able to nourish and feed from my own body. I asked my husband what he thought of my scar. His first response, 'I don't even see it'. He continued with 'if anything I look at it and see all that you went through to give us our family' Find a person that's good and true, that sees you and only you. I'll never know how I got so lucky but I'm thankful every day. Lastly, I feel like there's so much controversy over natural births, c-sections, v-bacs, nursing or formula fed. So much judgement. All that truly matters is that mom and baby are safe and healthy, that there is an abundance of love and we're giving this life our best. Being a mother is hard enough, why divide ourselves? Why compare? There are days I struggle to get out of bed, stay in sweats, yell at my toddlers all day and I order pizza for dinner. There are days I put make up on, get dressed and feel like I can take on the world...until about noon and I realize, this shits hard, when's nap time. We're all just taking it day by day. I'm just glad I'm finally able to find comfort in my own skin. To find appreciation and growth. I hope if you're going through all the new phases of motherhood, you're able to find strength and give yourself grace. You're able to see how beautiful you are. Bringing life in to this world; mothering is such a magical gift.Never underestimate the power of a woman✨"

“Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can” // This has always been my fitness motto and it’s especially necessary navigating life as a Mom. If you follow me on stories, you’ll notice that I workout several times a week at a fitness studio for 1hr. One of the most frequent messages I get is how lucky I am to be able to do this. And yes. It is true. I am very lucky. However that wasn’t the case with my first 👶🏾 and it’s not always the case now since there are days when my husband is traveling and I don’t have childcare or my kids are sick and they want Mommy to take care of them. When that happens, I’m forced to use what’s around me. Whether that’s working out in my living room or taking it outside with my girls in their stroller. Sometimes it’s a little bit, sometimes it’s a lot. I just try to do what I can and get the most out of it. When you’re a Mom, you learn to how be flexible and adapt 😀 Today’s workout: 45 min stroller walk plus body weight exercises like this plank💪🏾 How do you make time for fitness? Are you Team Indoors🏠 , Team Outdoors 🏃🏾‍♀️🚵🏾‍♀️🏊🏾‍♀️or both? . . . #honestmotherhood #6monthspostpartum #postpartumfitness #postpartumbody #csectionrecovery https://www.instagram.com/p/B20G1nWngGg/?igshid=1my8n21ka0zpl
