man AvA had a chokehold on me along with several other indie animators 6-7 years ago I'm so happy to see the series is still beloved today (the physics one brings a tear to my eye)
could i recommend some indie animation serieses on yt?
Gildedguy (yt channel is the same name) is another popular stickman fighting series! Its origins are from animators on newgrounds would have stickman oc's in a competitive bracket and fans would vote who would win. Whoever wins animates the fight! The series evolved now to it's own series and it's great. It also animates to music, so the fight sequences are soooo satisfying when hits punch to the beat
No Evil by Betsy Lee is an animated series going on since 2013 (iirc) and is a sequel to a graphic novel by the same person! I never read the graphic novel but the series worldbuilds so well and provides good context for the past. The world and characters are based on Aztec mythology and has a beautiful blend of country music covers from the cast. It's more slice of life but the story does pick up
OH SHIT THANKS FOR THE REC ANON
yeah the animation vs physics video was insane. you just reminded me that i need to add the soundtrack for animation vs math to my playlist thank you for that
also AYOOOOOO RECCOMENDATIONS i am a busy busy man with so much going on constantly but i'll try and get to watching these later. thank you so much o777777

Insufferable "gourmet"
Tumblr media
A blogger named SPYBOY spends his weekends eating delicious gourmet food such as Italian and Chinese food. He will spend 30,000 yen ($300) on one meal. He denies creative cuisine. He says it's because the recipes of top restaurants are complete and sophisticated, but creative cuisine doesn't come close.
I don't have money to spend, so I'm always creative. There is a "path" to cooking, and if you keep it under control, I think it's easy to bring out the taste of a first-class restaurant, so I often disagree with this blogger, SPYBOY.
And, as you might imagine, SPYBOY denies convenience stores. He hates convenience stores like a scorpion because they only sell foods with lots of additives. However, the process of cooking is all about adding additives to the ingredients.
Furthermore, he says that he is a sympathizer of Vietnamese people, but when I suggest that he should shop at a convenience store once in a while to support them who work at a convenience store in Japan, he refuses. Well, in other words, being a Vietnamese sympathizer is also a pose, and the rich SPYBOY wants to spend money only on gourmet food. It's a boring hobby.

The Sweet Delight of Fruit Jelly: A Flavorful Journey.
When it comes to satisfying our sweet cravings, fruit jelly stands as a timeless treat that has been delighting taste buds for generations. Whether you're enjoying it as a spread on toast, a filling in a pastry, or simply spooning it straight from the jar, fruit jelly never fails to bring a burst of fruity goodness to your palate. At Mr. Mukhwas, we understand the joy of indulging in this sweet delight, and today, we'll explore the fascinating world of fruit jelly and its many delightful aspects.
Tumblr media
Brief History
Fruit jelly has a rich history that dates back centuries. Ancient civilizations, including the Egyptians and Romans, were known to preserve fruits in honey or other sweet substances, creating an early version of what we now know as fruit jelly. Over time, this culinary art form evolved, with techniques improving and flavors diversifying.
The Making of Fruit Jelly
Creating fruit jelly is a meticulous process that involves several key steps. Here's a simplified overview:
a). Fruit Selection: The journey begins with choosing ripe and flavorful fruits. Different fruits can be used to create various flavors of jelly, from classic grape and strawberry to exotic combinations like mango-peach or blackberry-lime.
b). Cooking: The fruits are simmered until they break down, releasing their natural juices and flavors. Sugar is added to sweeten the mixture.
c). Straining: The cooked fruit is then strained to remove any solids, leaving behind a smooth liquid.
d). Pectin Addition: Pectin, a natural gelling agent found in many fruits, is often added to the liquid to give it that signature jelly-like consistency.
e). Boiling: The mixture is boiled until it reaches the desired gel point, and the jelly is ready to be poured into jars.
Versatile Uses
One of the wonderful things about fruit jelly is its versatility. Here are some creative ways to enjoy it:
a). Breakfast Bliss: Spread fruit jelly on your morning toast, bagel, or croissant for a burst of fruity goodness to kickstart your day.
b). Pastry Perfection: Use fruit jelly as a filling for pastries, tarts, or donuts to add a sweet and tangy twist to your baked goods.
c). Glaze and Marinade: Fruit jelly can make a delightful glaze for roasted meats or a flavorful marinade for grilled chicken or pork.
d). Cheese Companion: Pair fruit jelly with a variety of cheeses for a delightful contrast of sweet and savory flavors.
e). Dessert Delights: Top off your desserts like ice cream, cheesecake, or yogurt with a spoonful of fruit jelly for an extra layer of flavor.
Health Benefits
Fruit jelly, when made with real fruit, can offer some health benefits too. It's a source of vitamins and antioxidants, and the natural sugars provide a quick energy boost. However, moderation is key as it can also be high in added sugars.

At Mr. Mukhwas, we take pride in crafting high-quality fruit jellies that capture the essence of fresh fruits. No need for restaurants (logistics-5)
Tumblr media
A former blogging friend of mine spent $250 a week as a gourmet at Italian, Chinese, and Japanese restaurants. as he claims
(1) Traditional cuisine is something that creative cuisine can never catch up with; cuisine made using traditional procedures is true cuisine, and creative cuisine is nothing compared to it.
(2) He hated convenience store products. There are so many additives that he doesn't even feel like eating.
Now, let's discuss these two in turn. About (1). You only need to know the basic procedures and techniques to prepare and eat food. As long as you follow these rules, you'll be able to make a decent dish, and even if you forget the entire cooking system, it's easy to recreate the system as long as you know the procedures. Regarding (2). Cooking is the process of adding additives to ingredients. Aren't sugar, salt, pepper, etc. "additives"? If you reject "additives," just eat the ingredients as they are without cooking them. Here, his two claims are contradictory.
This is an extreme statement, but I do not think that restaurants that use "traditional procedures" are particularly superior to convenience stores. I don't dare go to a restaurant and eat a bunch of expensive additives.
Rei Morishita
