im just a big fan of how a mortal and immortal can love eachother uwu

just cuddle fluff idea of our poor hunter vanguard need of hugs and cuddles.

After a long day, Cayde comes home, mentaly drained as he rubbed at his metalic face with his gloved hand.

honestly, if he could go out into the wildernes he wouldnt conplain so much or try to sneak out, but apparently its too dangerus to go out.

at least he have someone to come home to. He walked over to the kitchen as he took of his gloves and let his hood fall back on his shoulder. he went to grab some snacks, and grab a bag of sesame seed muesli, and a purified spring water and a spring of parsley.

walking over to the little nesting place for Colonel, he poured some of her favorite seeds in a bowl and get her the spring water.

said chicken cooes and dug in and helped herself.

with a small pet over her soft feathers Cayde stood up and went to get into something comfortable. taking off his vanguard armor he placed them neatly onto the couch lazily and grabbed a hoodie and baggy pants.

after eating a little snack and drink something in the kitchen he let Sundance clean up after him for he is just too tired at the moment and said goodnight to her going to his room.

opening the door he wish he could still smile as he saw his beloved curled up on his bed. She have a bit of a bed hair as some decided to cover her beautiful face. her beautiful skin, looking soft and comfortable.

he still wonders sometimes if he isnt too hard to cuddle up to but she never complained.

with a soft sigh he quietly closed the door and walked over ever so slowly and quietly for an exo, most likely his hunter skills. He let himself lie down on the bed and moved a few stray of hair out of her face and sighed happily.

he let his thumb softly run over her cheek then to her lips then let his hand fall onto his chest looking at her.

it might sound creepy but to him its calming to watch her sleep.. his precious (Y/N)... just watching her breath, eyelashed fluttering ever so slightly, her soft cheeks.

he moved a little closer and let his metal plated mouth rest on her forehead as a kiss and wrapprd his arms around her.

it feels nice to hold her in his arms.. his slightly cold metal frame against her warm skin, warmed his metalic frame, and his heart.

"I'm home."

he softly spoke and he felt her shift a bit making him stay still, did he woke her up? or is she just fixing herself up?

he felt one of her arm wrap around his waist and lightly grip onto his hoodie. His glowing blue eyes shines in the darkened room as he glances down to look at her, and all he saw is a smiling face of his beloved with sleepy gaze looking into his tired one.

"Welcome home."

Guardian, rating people in the Tower on what they eat:

Mom Ikora eats nothing but protein bars and smoothies, cause she's the information backbone.

Dad Zavala, I think chicken nuggets, but like home made. That or he would make himself dinner, get so wrapped up in his stuff and forget to eat it. He also can't stand spice.

Crow likes earth fruits. I've seen him sneak apples on the Helm. I've asked about the spice issue, and he swears its not an Awokenthing, but he likes sweets over spice.

Cayde-6, may the light bless his bytes, was only one(1) Ramen shop. He put their kids through college.

Drifter will eat the tiles off the floor if he is hungry enough.

Sweeper bot eats oil.

Both Rahool and Tess drink exclusively Champagne and also Vodka. One for the pleasure, the other to conceal the pain.

Banshee-44 is too busy keeping Telesto under wraps long enough to stop it tearing a hole in reality to eat much, but I have a feeling it's Chinese take out.

Uncle Shaxx? The man eats his weight in Bar food and drinks half of it in Ale, or at least that's what I've heard.

Hawthorne... oh! Bird lady with a crazy kill count. Chili dogs and she gets straps of chicken for the bird. I've almost hit that thing Twice coming into the hanger.

Eva Levante only shows up to decorate for events, which is a shame I don't see Space Grandma more. I have only seen her drink Tea, but I bet she loves the cookies from the blue tin.

Finally, Ada-1. She strikes me as one who would love fancy food, but due to her forges being underfunded, settles for fancy ramen instead. She still is a wine snob.

Ghost, looking over their shoulder: Why are you doing this?

Guardian: I heard a couple of Hunters talking and were a bit taken back by how wrong they were.

Ghost, blinks: but these are also your opinion... And you missed a couple!

Guardian, counting the list: 1,2,3... oh RIGHT! *continues writting*

Lord Saladin... I don't interact much with him on principle, but I have heard through the grape vine, *ahem* drifter *ahem*, that he does grill out like a father wanting to impress the neighbors. The Cabal seem to enjoy it so who am I to judge.

Ghost: at least tell me he calls it Grilling instead of Barbecuing.

Guardian: He will, but only if you get mad at him. He gets a good laugh out of it.

Last, Pigeon Lord!

Ghost: Don't write that!

Guardian, backspacing their post: Fine fine, Saint-14, He's Vegan.

Ghost: No way.

Guardian: He is!

Cayde-6 (Destiny) – the Hunter Vanguard leader. He’s hilarious, carefree, and genuine. And a little reckless. He might get me in trouble but, hey, I’d have fun with this guy. He used to have a pet chicken called Colonel, by the way.

U - Three favorite characters from three different fandoms, and why they’re your favorites.

Darth Marr (SW:TOR) – Calm, pragmatic, powerful Sith Lord of the Dark Council. He wears the coolest armour in the galaxy, and is terrifying in battle – there is some quote about him being ‘more effective than a planetary defense shield’. I like how he has genuine respect for the Jedi Order, and will play fair with the Republic if they meet him halfway. Also is a strong proponent of alien rights, unlike others in his order.

"My 'vision' is of an Empire ready to fight across the battlefield of life. That is all I require."

Zaeed Massani (Mass Effect) – Feared bounty hunter and mercenary, and another pragmatic older man. Describes his massive healed facial injury from being shot in the face point blank by his former business partner as ‘being over-ruled’. He’s not a good guy but he’s not a villain. He’s battle-hardened and has his own opinions. I nearly passed away when, in the Citadel DLC, he tells Fem!Shep that he always thought she was beautiful. Also lets you know you are out of bacon. He’s just really cool.

“For twenty years, I’ve seen that bastard every time I closed my eyes. Every time I sighted down on a target. Every time I heard a gunshot. Don’t you call that a goddamned 'grudge.'”

Raphael (BG3) – He is very intriguing to me in his complexity, his duality. As others have said, he is technically a smaller part of this 120hr plus game, but manages to fascinate, nevertheless. There is so much to explore in his character and story. Stupid sexy devil man.

"Ah yes, the tongue. Yet another pleasurable piece of anatomy you'll soon have to do without."

We all know that Destiny 2 loves their Bird Motifs(TM), with guardians (and even the Traveler itself) using bird imagery to define or otherwise symbolize themselves. The Traveler uses the hawk/falcon to guide us. Cayde-6 has his trusty chicken. Crow is, well, a crow. Osiris has the phoenix, and Saint-14 the pigeon. Guardians love their birds, and each one is meant to reflect aspects associated with their respective guardian, or just to act as a medium of self-expression. Regardless, the Sky, bathed in Light, is populated by Birds.

So with that in mind, what birds do you associate with your guardians?
