My Review: Garnet Run series and Roan Parrish characters are amongst my favorite in the mm romance world as the stories are always heartwarming and sweet. When I see a new book in Garnet Run I know I will read it as it's always a treat. This one was excellent: sweet but never too sweet, well plotted, and compelling. It's a sort of fairy tale but there's always some very realistic details. I consider this series a sign of times and a hope that dark times will never be back as there's inclusivity and people accept the differences. Highly recommended. My Review: I love LaQuette's stories as they're always clever, featuring strong women and an unusual plot. This is a sort of Cinderella retelling featuring a professional woman. As it mirrors Cinderella something is going to happen at midnight. LaQuette always delivers interesting stories and characters, this one was no exception and I was rooting for the characters. What's your character's favorite drink? Are they more of a tea, coffee, or energy drink type of person? What drink has good memories connected with it?

Avery: She prefers energy drinks, specifically monster, fits her ‘aesthetic’ and her Mom likes them.

Cath: She prefers Tea, it’s calming, she’ll drink any kind but she likes Chamomile best.

Eisa: She’s too young to have energy drinks (and coffee according to her parents) but she likes tea well enough, usually sweeter ones.

Vivie: Coffee, it makes her more anxious then normal but she likes the taste.

Ashton: He lives off of coffee, boy does not sleep so he definitely needs the caffeine.

Casper: They’ll drink anything, but they prefer energy drinks, gives them the most fuel to keep going and work on experiments.

Austin: He likes tea best, though they’ll drink anything, he likes the calming affect.
