I think people are too obsessed with "canon" and trying to use source material to justify certain readings of the characters that were intentionally placed there by the author. You'll have characters very obviously written to be gay with so many allusions to the fact in their behavior and story themes and people will be all pissy it isn't "canon". As though having that arbitrary title slapped on will make the reading any more valid.

Like idk man I think if the writer puts a bunch of obvious gay sub text in their story, then maybe it being gay is already canon. Having the writer of the cool media you enjoy officially saying "ya its gay btw 😉" doesn't make your queer readings any more valid than they already are.

Modern AU where Cassandra is (once again) going over her folder of potential (male) suitors for Caitlyn with both Cait and Tobias. Caitlyn inevitably eventually shouts out she is not interested in men. Everyone falls silent, Tobias may have a little smile on his face. Cassie disappears upstairs, Cait starts getting upset and worried and Tobias starts comforting her, telling her she’ll be right back. Cassandra comes back with another folder. Caitlyn tries arguing again before opening it, shuts her mouth real quick after realizing this folder is full of women, pre-prepared and everything.

A few more tries... Not really happy with the lineart, I will try some others only with pencil.

arcane season 2 is only out in like 8 months but i'm already seeing content for it and it just reminds me how nervous i am for what's to come. i know they're butchering my favorites oh i just know it man
