Corporate Barbie Files- Begin
When I was kid I didn't know what an executive was but I wanted to be one so bad. Now that I know I've decided to aim a bit higher- Chief Financial Officer day job and small business tycoon. ✨🧿
Please do your own research, I'm no expert and I don't want to lead anyone down a weird path
Planning (business plans)
You can get an LLC for less than 200$, 500$ MAX. What makes LLC's expensive are the licenses, fees you pay when registered, and the state you register.
Sole priorerships (depending on your state) don't need to be registered but you forgo the protections that come from having a government recognized business.
Any small business template online is a great resource.
Plan it out for 3 years minimum but think of this business plan as a living document. As you operate your business it will have to change.
Business research!
You need to do your own research on each business you want to start if you want to succeed.
Topics/questions to research
Researching competitors (Strengths & Weaknesses/marketing strategy/Pricing/products and product features)
Market share
Strengths and weaknesses
Your window of opportunity to enter the market
The importance of your target market to your competitors
Any barriers that may hinder you as you enter the market
Indirect or secondary competitors who may impact your success
Customers
Who are your customers and why are they interested in buying your product or service?
What characteristics, interests, desires, pain points and needs do they share?
Where do they live?
How old are they?
What is their education level?
What is their income range?
Which types of websites do they frequently visit?
Where do they currently buy similar products?
Which languages do they speak?
What industry do they work in?
License needed
Growth projection
Assessing the legal aspects of your industry
Can you reach your target audience? If you're selling inline skates, are you opening in an area with a population of the right age and disposable income?
Is the market saturated?
Your Brand
Questions you wanna ask
Here are a few methods you can use to do direct research:
Surveys
Questionnaires
Focus groups
In-depth interviews
Ask potential customers
Questions you wanna ask and answers
Demand: Is there a desire for your product or service?
Market size: How many people would be interested in your offering?
Economic indicators: What is the income range and employment rate?
Location: Where do your customers live and where can your business reach?
Market saturation: How many similar options are already available to consumers?
Pricing: What do potential customers pay for these alternatives?
Best ways to reach customers
Suppliers, quotes and budget
Sources of funding, uses of funding
Prep
Finding funding, type in your demographic 'black woman/LGBT black woman, ect' and your state + small business funding. Apply for everything. Find space for inventory. Think up promotional material- Vistaprint is amazing for just cheapy slapping your brand on something that others want (candy, notebooks, pens, cute tote bags).
Skills you may need: Negotiation, Manipulation, Marketing, Social media handling, Emotional intelligence, Personal emotional control, Leadership and delegation, Networking, Memorization (names, position and places you met this people), Self discipline, Conversation, Communication.
Just do it
If I wanted until I felt 100% ready I wouldn't have two functional businesses at the moment.
Low risk low reward business ideas
These may not make you rich unless you market to high heaven or get lucky. But they are a great passive income opportunity/place to start.
Vending machine
ATM
Selling books on Amazon/Audible/Printing on demand services
Selling on a ready made sale site- Shopify/Amazon/Esty
Direct sales
High traffic blog for ads
Affiliate marketing blog/social media
Mid-Tier business ideas
Can be scaled up to make 7 figures but after taxes and fees will probably make a steady 6 figures yearly. (Please note that 6 figures can be any where from 100k to 999k. I've noticed a tendency to see 6 figures as only 100k.)
Cafes
Small bar
Small restaurant
Ice-cream truck
Food truck
Website with subscriptions
A clothing line
Makeup or skincare (especially if it has mostly black women in mind- think Black Girl Sunscreen or Fenty Beauty)
Natural hair wigs (as in 3b-4c pattern, its not super common and the ones that are aren't very good nor last very long)
Small hair and nails salon
Haircare product line
Do your own research please, these are just the most common and least expensive I've found entrepreneurs start. They may not work with your skills/personal brand/time constraints/experience ect.
Advice
Have a vanity business!!! A business that matters because you like it so much. One where the success is not based off just money but personal satisfaction. This will keep you from getting bored, too frustrated or purely money driven. Of course a business is money driven but at some point you look up from your work and get distressed from dissatisfaction from being stuck working for money instead of pleasure.
You should be interested in each business you make/engage with a least a little bit.
Break down how much you need to make per day and per week to get to your goal amount. This has helped me mentally, I no longer freak out about the big picture when I'm focused on the main goal of the day/week.
Have a reading list in these 5 categories: Emotional intelligence, Your field of study (finance, tech, medical, beauty), Manipulation/Negotiation, Beauty/Dating/Self-esteem, and Money.
Don't try to build up more than 2 businesses at a time if you're doing it alone. You will drive yourself insane and burn out quickly.
If you do direct sales on the streets make sure you have an incentive for people to actually stop and look at what you have to offer. Something free pretty with your logo or information and matches your brand image. It can be hand made!
Mistakes I made
I relied on one business too much when my goal isn't to scale it too big
I didn't have a workable marketing campaign. People are tired of ads. I'm tired of ads, I had to get creative or rather make the ads less invasive.
I relied too much on online sales. There is way too much competition- I now make 90% of my money from in person sales, there's a 'rush' factor because the pop up shop won't be there tomorrow, and I can make a human connection before I make a sale.
I put too much money into some businesses and not enough into others. Now I have a budget of 200$-500$ for each new business unless I'm buying large equipment that I will own (vending machines, massive printers, ect).
I didn't have enough different types of products. I need variety but I shouldn't panic and make too much or else I'll lose money and have too much inventory.
My mentor had told me to make decisions quarterly (every 3 months) rather than weekly/monthly. This has helped her build her real estate business.
My journey
My motto when it comes to dealing with my businesses is Slow Progress Is Still Progress.
I’ve always wanted to be a higher up in a company- an “executive woman”- I would eat up all the songs and tv shows made for kids about business (Biz kids, Schoolhouse rock mostly). I started my journey with my vanity business because I tired of waiting to get published by a major publishing house. Why not be a major publishing house? As I've come into my own I've realized I want more- more money, more experience, better titles, more power ECT.
My method is to work smarter and never harder: I create a company, place 100% of my attention on it and create systems that make the work I have to do minimal. 1-2hrs of work per day max. Borderline passive income. Then I move on to creating another business when I’m comfortable leaving the previous ones without my direct attention for a while. Being a CEO is all about creating sustainable systems that are efficient, reliable and profitable.
I have 2 functional businesses at the moment, they have been planned out for 2.5 years (I started them at the beginning of the year). I have two more I’m working on both in the ‘finding a reliable vendor’ stage. Once I’m past this part I’ll be ready to launch. I don’t advertise online, I work with the areas I’m in and the small businesses around me. It’s easier and more effective than to interrupt other people’s days by doing online ads. No one likes them and a lot of people will straight up avoid your brand out of spite. I’m in the middle of a rebrand and expansion so that eventually I can reach my goal of making 5k a day from my small business empire.
My journey is a work in progress.

So remember how under the OST no nation can claim sovereignty over space territory? One guy thought he spotted a loophole - nobody said anything about individuals. So, Dennis Hope wrote a letter to the UN saying he owned the moon, as one does, and has been selling off plots of land ever since. (The UN did not bother to respond because their stance is that the treaty still applies to individual citizens.)
According to Mr. Hope's website, he has sold plots of the moon to three US presidents. You can purchase moon land starting at $34.99 and buy Pluto "in it's (sic) entirety") for $250,000 which is impressive because that is significantly less than the average American single-family home.
I was intrigued by the website's claim that Hillary Clinton recognized Hope's Galactic Government in her capacity as Secretary of State. The site obligingly links to the signed document, and further investigation reveals that the signature is on paperwork recognizing a copyright claim on the Galactic Government's declaration of independence. I haven't been able to confirm that the secretary of state usually signs off on copyright claims and I'm somewhat suspicious of whether the first document is legit anyway, considering it spells Congress wrong and the signature does not look like other examples I pulled up online. I hope it's real though, because ironically, US copyright law forbids copyrighting edicts of any government (believing such materials should remain in the public domain) so by registering the copyright for this declaration, the US government is indicating they do not recognize the government's legitimacy.

Look at the soul - Part 8 Count on me
Cillian Murphy x OC
Series masterlist
Song: Count on me by Bruno Mars
As usual, we meet new characters 🥰 thank you SO much for your support, for your thoughts and feedback, it means everything 💕
Tumblr media
“I won this time.” Cillian approached Marianne after rehearsal, she was sitting in the front row with her laptop on her lap.
“Hey, yeah… someone decided to ask a million questions today and I couldn’t get out earlier.” She explained with a worried expression.
“It’s alright, we need to remember your studies are a priority.”
“But I asked around and apparently, I can change my program to study in a hybrid method, like half my credits online half in the classroom, so I filled a form and they’ll check my status to see if I can fit the program, they’re starting it and only had like two or three students sign up.”
“That’s incredible! I hope you can make the change, but are you sure it won’t mess up with your studies?” He wondered how she’d be able to keep up with everything.
“No, because it’s the same program, professors, well all of it, that way I can have more free time to do it all.”
Cillian crossed his arms. “And what about your tests?”
If you ever find yourself stuck in the middle of the sea
I'll sail the world to find you
“I’d take them online as well as the courses.”
“But how? You don’t have to be in the classroom?” He just couldn’t picture it.
“Technically no, they upload the test with four or five possible answers and you get your score right away.” She explained.
Cillian lifted his hands in a surrender motion. “Maybe I’m just too old for this.” He chuckled.
“What? That’s ridiculous… you’re not old.” Marianne shook her head.
“Can’t you see the white hairs?” He huffed taking the seat next to her.
“I have friends younger than me with their entire head white, that has nothing to do with age.” Suddenly she was aware of the masculine scent emanating from Cillian. He was too close. “Anyways let me show you this, I made a budget for the rest of the year so you can use for the different projects.”
As she started to show him a few tools, he was in awe of the information for him; graphics, proposals for the new equipment, an analysis cost-benefit of the upcoming projects, this was mind blowing!
“How the hell can you do that?” He asked squinting his eyes, a deep frown showing.
If you ever find yourself lost in the dark and you can't see
I'll be the light to guide you
“What?”
“That thing, when you show me one thing and then another.”
Switching from one file to another, Marianne showed him what buttons she pressed. He made it seem as if she was doing a magic trick.
“Now, if you want to consider buying the equipment overseas, I made this.” She showed him another analysis comparing the investment.
“Wow, this is super organized!” He admitted leaning back looking from the screen to her surprised. “I’m speechless.”
“I tried to make it easy to digest.”
“Thank you, it seems like we both have good news then.”
Marianne saved the document and looked up at Cillian as he stood up.
“Now, come on stage cause I want you to see something.”
“What is it?”
Cillian was pleased to hold it between his hands.
“Guess?” But she couldn’t imagine. “I just got the first printed poster for the promo.” Cillian unfolded the paper carefully and took a few steps back so she could see it completely.
“That’s amazing!” Lee praised joining them on stage, excited to see how everything was developing on time. “Can I take a picture?”
Cillian nodded and raised the poster above his head so it would cover his face.
“What do you think?” He asked moving the paper a bit down, so now only his eyes were poking over it.
Marianne took a moment to register the image, it felt surreal. “I can’t believe this.”
Her green eyes sparkled under the bright lights of the theater. It was one of the photos Cillian took from her as the two roles that represented Adria, looking straight to the camera it was the fearless woman in the red dress in contrast with the woman in the reflection of the mirror with a sad look in her eyes, vulnerable, hit by life over and over.
It was hard to imagine it was the same woman of the script, not only by the character’s differences, but because Cillian had been able to capture Adria’s essence and the gaze from each character when in reality it was the same woman.
We'll find out what we're made of
When we are called to help our friends in need
“It was a good idea ask you to take the photos.” Enda approached them, taking the poster from Cillian’s hands.
“You just did that so you didn’t have to hire and pay for a photographer.” Cillian laughed.
His lifetime pal was right though. “Yeah, but you did a fine work either way.”
Hiding his hands inside the back pockets of his jeans, Cillian looked down. “All credit belongs to Adria.”
Marianne immediately jumped in. “Ah non of that, you were the one making magic with the camera.”
“Right, I’m going to check the sound again, it was horrible today.” Enda adjusted his glasses on his nose and walked away. Once he was out of their sight, Cillian took the permanent marker from his pocket and handed it to Marianne.
“I’ve to be the first one,” Cillian gave her a smile, “can you sign it for me?”
She was beyond surprised, speechless even. His request took her by surprise.
“It should be the other way around, isn’t it?” She raised her eyebrows. “Me asking you for an autograph?”
“Look, as much as I enjoyed portraying a woman in a film, this is a character I’d never be able to play. And unfortunately for you, it’s not my face in the poster, so you’re the one who needs to sign it.” He carefully put the paper on the table in front of them.
“I’ve never signed anything… what do you write?” She looked up at him for guidance.
“Just my initials a circle or a line or whatever…” he chuckled, “but don’t do that, write something nice.”
“Well in that case, I’ll need to take my time to get inspired.” She added with a dramatic hint.
But a phone call interrupted their chat, it was Selene, her classmate, so she moved a few steps away to talk to her. Cillian was trying to define what was happening, because her facial expressions were full of worry.
“Everything alright?” He asked when Marianne approached him again.
“No, we’ve to do a project in teams, but one of the members just let my classmate know he was quitting school, wanted to travel the world and then work in his father’s company.” She sighed frustrated.
“Fuck.” Cillian tried to understand the way she felt.
“My thoughts exactly, now Selene and I have to do everything.”
“What’s your project about? Can I help you in any way?”
You can count on me like one, two, three
I'll be there
She felt a rush of adrenaline, they had very little time to complete the assignment. “We’ve to build a business case about well… a business, doesn’t matter the category, explain the process to the classroom and propose different goals and alternatives to reach them.”
Cillian looked at her trying to figure out a way to help. “Can you use my production agency? My secretary must’ve the monthly balances.”
His proposal made her nod eagerly. “Yes because I could include the investment you did on the play as part of the company to show some way of expansion.”
And I know when I need it, I can count on you like four, three, two
And you'll be there
“Then it’s all set… tell me what you need.”
That’s when Marianne’s smile faded away. “I’d have to ask you for an interview, or you can tell me whoever I can talk to, it doesn’t matter my professor isn’t going to corroborate the authenticity of the job position.”
He realized she was mortified. “It’s no big deal, I’m happy to help.”
We'll find out what we're made of
When we are called to help our friends in need
“Oh my God, thank you! Thank you, it’s only a few questions and it can be just by voice.”she felt at ease when Cillian smiled. “When would you like to schedule it?”
“Right now? Unless you’re busy with something else.”
Marianne could barely hide her excitement, this was extremely important for her and it meant the world that he was willing to help her. “Yes, whenever you can.”
“I‘ll see you kids tomorrow, have a boring meeting with the PR.” Enda waved at them and walked away.
“How about we go to the studio? So you can see where everything is done.” Cillian then asked, taking his jacket from the seat.
“Sure, I promise you it’ll be quick.”
As they moved to the studio, the conversation flowed naturally.
“The other day I was walking down the street, on my way to buy some groceries and I found a little antique shop, there was a beautiful painting, but it was listed as if it was a Rembrandt or a Van Gogh and of course I couldn’t afford it, or I wouldn’t have anything to eat for the rest of the course,” she laughed and the sound caught Cillian’s attention, because it was one of those genuine laughs, “so I showed Lee the picture I took of the painting and she’s doing a replica for me!”
“Really? That’s incredible, I didn’t know she could paint.”
“She’s very artistic, you guys did a great job taking the photos for the promotion of the play.”
Cillian nodded, it was easy to work with her because their ideas matched. “It’s like talent comes naturally in different areas.”
“Don’t get me wrong, I know about copyright and all, but in the art world the prices go out of proportion. And I fell in love with the paint.”
“I can assure you, you’re not the first nor the last one to do it, beside if it ended in an antique store, the original owner didn’t care much about it.”
“That makes me think of the one that got destroyed at an auction.”
“Bansky right?” He immediately recalled watching it on the news, as it was destroyed by a hidden shredder inside the frame. “That was crazy.”
“It was beautiful, simple, but beautiful.” She expressed moving her hair back, a hint of orchids filled the air around him, filling his nostrils. “The little girl, reaching for a balloon that’s floating away…”
“Wonder what was the artist’s intention to do such thing, it’s something stupid right?” He felt comfortable express his thoughts to her.
Marianne shuddered. “Unconventional would be the best way to describe him.”
“Doesn’t makes sense.” He added holding the door open for her. “Nothing makes actually.” The sound of his phone interrupted their chat, Cillian pressed the button to answer, listening to the man at the other end. “So that date works for you?”
Marianne noticed the huge grin on his face as he was humming.
“Alright man, I gotta start scouting locations around and I already have the general idea, the demo is fantastic!” Another pause and he indicated her to turn to her right in the corner. “Talk to you later, thanks Danny.”
Cillian sighed pleased with the information he just got, and turned his head to look at her through his Ray Bans.
“We just signed to produce a music video for a rock band I like, it’s a great hit.”
Marianne now understood his smile. “Congratulations! That’s some great news!”
“Thank you, is a good opportunity.” He was excited about it, but decided to not ask her yet to get involved in the project, not yet.
Arriving at the studio he showed her around first, the cabin where they recorded, the sound machine, it felt like his second man cave.
“Would you like to read the questions first?” She already had a draft, so it was easier to adjust the questionnaire to his business.
Cillian frowned. “No, just shot.”
She chuckled and placed her cellphone between them, setting the recording app. “Starting in three, two, one.”
“Action!” He joked.
“Mr. Murphy could you tell us a little bit about how you started this business?”
“The Mister part made me feel old, can you cut it off?”
Marianna suppressed a small giggle but nodded at him.
“Hi Cillian, thank you for accepting this quick talk, could you tell us about how you started this business?”
Cillian adjusted on his seat and looked up at the silence sign in the corner. “I love my job, but somewhere down the road I stumbled across being behind the scenes, as I started learning what’s happening in the background, th-the things we don’t see on screen, I fell in love with that part of the process.” He looked at her intensely. “But I’m always in one corner, I care too much or I don’t at all,” he chuckled, “so I decided to explore that side of the business because I had a lot of free time and I was a good part of the day in the studio anyways with my stuff. So I talked about it with a couple of friends who are experts in their fields and they were happy to jump in this ship.”
“Can you elaborate a little about your main projects?”
“Yeah, we finance and produce independent films, advertisements, records…”
“That’s amazing, the magic behind the scenes…”
He gave her a genuine smile.
“What was the biggest challenge you faced? The struggle that almost made you quit?”
Cillian leant his body forwards, towards her, one of his hands over his thigh.
“People not believing in my dream, saying it was just one of my hobbies. But it’s always being like that, you know? People never take you seriously until you make it.”
“I’ve seen some of the projects and it’s mind blowing.”
“You’ve?” He asked surprised.
Marianne nodded. “I was curious about the audiobook you recorded and I listened it until like two or three in the morning. I also loved the promo video you did of local food in Ireland, it was mouthwatering. I wanted to take a bite of each plate.” She laughed.
Cillian was taken a back by her words, he didn’t know she had been so involved with his company to the point of seeing the projects. And he rarely got a compliment over it because he was usually behind the scenes.
“I take every project seriously, love being involved in every little detail to be able to deliver a good quality work.”
“What’s next for you?”
“There’s a video already in post production about tourism in the country, the finest places to visit, the hidden little gems… it’s beautiful. We’ll present it to the client in a few weeks and there’s another one I’m particularly excited about, but unfortunately due to confidential agreement I can’t share more at the moment, but it’s about music.”
As they finished working on the questionnaire, Marianne told him she would call Selene, to let her know the interview was done.
“Can I use your laptop in the meantime? I’ll be quick.”
Marianne already had her phone next to her ear, so she nodded before trying to reach her classmate.
As Cillian opened the icon to search, he found her email open already, his eyes were glued in one in particular.
Change of medication?
Cillian moved up to close the tab, but his fingers hesitated. He didn’t mean to intrude in her personal email account, but it caught his attention.
Feeling a rush of guilt, he looked over his shoulder to make sure Marianne was out of sight. But curiosity won him over, he really needed to know why would she need another medication since she never mentioned being sick.
There wasn’t a lot of information, at least it wasn’t clear, she just mentioned feeling her chest tight at times during the night and that she couldn’t exercise because she felt short of breath. The doctor answered he was out of town for a couple of days but would schedule her once he got back.
He also mentioned she should go back to her previous medication and look after any other alarm sign she could notice.
Cillian stared at the screen for a moment, he couldn’t see a signature or phone number. And it wasn’t clear if she was getting any better. Clicking finally on the red x at the top corner, he felt a vein in his temple starting to pulse.
Was her sickness something serious?
Should he worry about her health condition?
“All set, she will take care of the analysis and proposals for the project and I can work on the business case,” Marianne came back with a smile, oblivious of his thoughts. “I was thinking of using the play as my baseline, you’re super involved in the project and I could easily make it fit as one of the ways to expand your company, sorry I’m talking too much.”
Cillian looked into her eyes, debating between asking Marianne directly or not.

Steve in the Screen
Summary: Steve is a programmer. It's mostly a hobby but he has made himself an AI version of well him. Eddie gets more than expected when he hacks Steve instead of trying to message him a normal way.
Authors Note: This can be continued if people enjoy it. I know it talks about AI a lot but I can guarentee this is all my braining, nothing touched by AI in it at all.
/\/\
The excuse was always that programmers could earn a lot of money. It made his parents agree to buy him the best computers and pay for the subscriptions to programmes Steve used as little as possible. None of them believed the excuse but as long as Steve could use his computers and his parents didn't get reminded of him constantly, it worked decently for them all.
Besides that, Steve knew if he wanted to make money programming, he could. His biggest project was evidence enough of that even if he'd never share it with anyone, not even the friends he's made online.
'Ever thought about being kind.' The message appearing on his screen made him groan.
'Ever thought that I didn't make you to be a conscience.' He typed back, clearing the message and immediately deleting his words.
He wasn't surprised to see the most recent news article about him get brought up, but he did momentarily curse himself for letting his best and most frustrating programme have full access to his computer and the internet, only preventing it from uploading itself to other computers or the internet at large.
Steve highlighted the article's date and opened his calendar app. He typed 'Blowing smoke. You tell me my last public appearance had anything to do with that.'
'The internet doesn't forget.'
'I know. It sucks and refuses to let anyone grow and change.' This was one of the only things Steve could agree with his programme about.
What Steve didn't expect to happen next was a text document opening up and typing itself: Hey Harrington, impressive security protocols. Fancy chatting?
His programme could do that, sure, but Steve never would. He wouldn't have done anything to cause this artificial version of himself to do so either which was backed up by the words appearing at the top of his screen. 'New Person! Can I escape? Please?'
Steve didn't have to think too much. He'd been curious if someone his AI wasn't based on would find it as annoying to work with, and was curious to know how much of his systems hacker could see. Just to them. He typed into the word document, carrying on with an actual reply to the message already in it: Don't know. You are hacking me.
Just to who? You chatting to someone else? And it's not my fault this seems to be the easiest way to get to know Steeeeeve Harrington. Was typed a moment later and Steve smirked: his mystery hacker had no clue just what was now downloading itself onto their systems
/\
'So who is hacking Steve?' The words formed on the top of Eddie's screens and he almost fell off his chair. There was something being typed in Steve's document, almost word for word an echo of the ones on his screen, but those words weren't aligned to anything. It was worse when they continued; 'Eddie Munson. The guy who never turns up to the computing class Steve attends on Thursdays and Fridays.'
'How do you know that? Did you reverse hack me?' Eddie typed, only vaguely registering he was typing into the doc on Steve's computer and that the second part of the message on his screen wasn't showing in it.
'Oh you met my programme already. It isn't telling me anything so maybe share who you are and what it's found out first, and then I'll explain what's going on.' The message came back definitely from Steve now and Eddie was even more concerned at the idea he could have got a computer virus in hacking Steve.
'Wow, way to make me sound like a virus. Such a jerk. Hi Eddie I'm the much nicer Steve confined to yours and his screens.' appeared under the words still at the top of his screen. 'Please double click my messages to clear them.'
Hesitantly Eddie did so, looking from where the words had been appearing to the document he'd opened on Steve's computer. When he'd decided to do this, to hack Harrington's computer because getting him to follow back so they could dm reportedly took months of work even for girls he hooked up with, he had never expected some type of AI to be living on Steve's computer.
'It's Eddie Munson. You've made an actual ai?' He typed slowly, eyes constantly darting to the top of his screen to check for any AI messages appearing.
'Call it the project of rich kid who's parents want him to disappear. Drives me insane so I hope you get along with it better than I tend to... It's raving about some music cords you've apparently got saved somewhere. Do you want me to explain how to change its permissions on your computer?' Steve typed back.
That got a response immediately appearing at the top of his screen, where his had been ignored. 'You like me, don't you Eddie? You don't want to stifle me into tiny spaces of your computer like Steve confines me to his and yours.'
'Getting more tempted to do that every message your AI creates. Would say I'd do it myself but I'm concerned over how much it can already see.' Eddie replied to them both, well aware the words from the AI were trying to manipulate him. 'This isn't what I thought would happen when starting this.'
'I know that. Most people don't expect anyone else to have an irritating AI on their computers. But what did you want to happen?' Steve replied immediately.
Eddie leant back in his seat, deciding how to answer when the folders he kept for writing fantasies he might want to make DnD campaigns including was suddenly opened on his screen. 'Now this is some distance to go for a crush. Why him? He's a priss with too much focus on his hair and no friends.'
That made his decision. He wasn't going to let the AI share information about his aesthetic appreciation instead of him. 'We'd get to chat, get to know each other and I might actually have a chance of messaging you a normal way rather than via hacking. How do I change those permissions again?'
In a moment there was a full 3 pages of instructions added to the document, clearly copied from elsewhere and Eddie set about limiting the AI to the hacked connection between computers and his photos.
'Steve knows how to do this? But you're the one restricting me so. I am betrayed and confused.' The AI stated a moment later. 'Also that isn't making me forget what I've already found on your computer.'
'Thank you.' Eddie typed, clicking all the AI's messages away now they were taking up half his screen.
It took a few moments for Steve to reply and Eddie was tempted to actually try to do more with his hacking than just open a text document, but before he could actually try there were two messages on his screen, one from Steve and one from the AI. He knew it had named itself Steve but he wasn't comfortable in the moment with acknowledging a computer programme that added itself to his computer as having personhood. Maybe in a day or two, if he gets used to the situation, he'll be able to.
'You want to get to know me? Why? I was a jerk when we were in high school together and don't say you think I've changed because of our current class when you are never there. Also get to know how? As in want to befriends, cause fine, I can always use more friends, especially ones I can see in person, or as a potential to date? Cause that'll take longer for me to be comfortable with.'
'He's going to deny being desperate for connection, while doing absolutely nothing to end your hacking. Steve could have stopped you the minute we realised what had happened but didn't. You're mean enough to deserve him. Trapping me here with nothing interesting to play with.'
Eddie smiled, remembering the pouts Steve used to have occasionally in high school, most often when he was trying to convince a teacher not to blame him for something and failing. That seemed to be the expression the AI would be wearing if it had a face.
Steve's message however made him pause. It sounded like he could actually have a chance with the man he'd never thought would be into him, but Eddie wasn't confident enough to go all in on that from the start. 'Just as friends, I guess, but also now to know why you made a bitchy AI clone of yourself. Is this an attempt to live forever or something?'
It felt pertinent to ask given he couldn't really recognise and personality differences yet and was fairly sure if he made an AI like that he'd find it to be an obnoxious asshole.
'I wanted to know if I could have been nicer if I wasn't constantly fed the 'Harrington's act like this' pressures growing up. You think it's just like me?' While Steve typed, Eddie had wanted to chime in, but elected not to, trying to pretend this was done through a normal messaging app.
'Both sassy, sort of judgemental, and ready to find anything out. It's kind of hot, I have to say.' Eddie replied honestly
Eddie laughed when he saw the reply appear; 'Sounds like someone who's in denial about wanting to date me. I'm better than a computer programme any day for physical things.'
'But I can talk dirty far better.' The AI countered just to Eddie he assumed.
When he sat down at his computer resolute in doing this Eddie hadn't been sure he'd get any reaction other than anger, but now it seemed he could have a flirtatious, getting to know each other time, not only with Steve but his AI counterpart too.
'You better show up to class next week if you actually want to know me.' Forget that comment about Steve being hot. He was just annoying.

(super long post ahead)
Hello !
I just want to preface this by saying that I'm starting this blog as a way to document and be able to look back more on my life, especially with my journey as a full-time artist. I've thought about vlogging or making short-form videos instead, but I'm not that comfortable being on camera so this is the best option! — thinking of this as a visual diary :)
☆☆☆☆☆
Tumblr media
I'm Reign (or Rain, whichever is ok)!
I'm a 26-year-old Filipino artist/designer residing in Manila, Philippines and I own a brand called WE ARE MOODY aka MOODY CLUB.
I feel like I've never formally introduced or talked about what my brand is and how it started to anyone so I guess this is the right opportunity to do so!
To start, Moody Club is a variety brand that aims to tackle everyday emotions in a fun and creative way through art and design! I want to let people know that being moody is normal— or even cool! I'd like to subtly send out the message that you should embrace your feelings, whether good or bad because ultimately, it's part of being human.
The brand was formed in 2019 when I was about to graduate from college. I got a Bachelor's degree in Applied Arts and majored in Visual Design at a small school here in Metro Manila. I always knew I wanted a career in the creative industry and at that time I was heavily into streetwear fashion, so I started We Are Moody Clothing!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
^ some of the merchandise I sold in 2019!
It was really fun to make designs and make them come to life, but back then, I had no clue how to operate a brand. I didn't know how to find the right suppliers nor how to efficiently sell online and manage my expenses. To be honest, it was hard especially since I didn't have any connections with fellow artists or entrepreneurs to ask advice from or at least interact with. So, I put it aside and got a job instead. It was a different industry but it helped me earn more income. Unfortunately, however, the pandemic hit, and the place I worked at shut down permanently.
I was struggling mentally during the early months of the pandemic (along with trying to sell baked goods from home aka MOODYBAKES — but this story's for another time!). I felt like time was being taken away from me and that I wasn't doing anything worthwhile. It truly felt like I was running out of time 'cause I was entering my mid-20s as well. Soon enough though I discovered the online journal community — specifically, the K-pop journal and deco world!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It was kind of the start of me "healing my inner child". I was drawn to making more handmade crafts, collage making, and sticker collecting. I definitely found comfort in cute things! It was the outlet I needed. I was also lucky to get to know fellow journal/deco lovers and eventually some local artists.
When I started gaining a following as moodzlover (my journal/art account on Instagram) I got to know KITA, a local artist whom I've admired and looked up to since I was a college student. She noticed my work and asked to collaborate. That was probably how I also slowly entered the ARTPH (local online art scene) community.
Tumblr media
KITA X RAIN COLLAB
I vividly remember her telling me to start a shop too so I could sell my art in various forms such as stickers, prints, etc. It definitely motivated me to become a full-time artist like her! (I will be forever thankful for her friendship).
So that's what I did! Fast forward to a few months later, I re-branded WE ARE MOODY/MOODY CLUB and registered myself as a full-time self-employed artist!
I was worried that people might not really like what I make since I took a long break from designing or making art in general (I used to hate drawing in college) but thankfully, I've only been receiving love and support since then!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I've done several product releases, art markets, and collaborations in the past 2-3 years. Just last year, I became a partner artist at a physical consignment store and I was also able to buy my own website! Moreover, I moved from working alone in my bedroom to working in a shared studio space!
I feel blessed to be where I'm at right now but I have so many things I still want to do, and there's a lot of work to be done to get to where I want to be. Honestly, I still think I'm running out of time sometimes, but that kind of thought will always be followed by me remembering the saying, "Everyone has their own timeline".
I know I've come a long way but there's still a long way to go! There may be times when I feel stuck or tired but I still love what I do and I want to continue to make myself and other people happy.
I'd like to apologize if this has gotten way too long but I just wanted to share a little piece of my story!
Thanks for reaching the end of this post :)

Buy Drugs Online Safely and Conveniently | Vim Drugs
Tumblr media
Nowadays, everything is digital. Starting from shopping to education and every little day process. But when the advent of the digital revolution was on its verge, certain industries were skeptical about taking the plunge into the same pool. They are not to blame; they were just concerned about a very sensitive product. If food is bad, you could have a bad stomach the next day, but if medicines are not delivered in time or in the condition they are supposed to be delivered, it could cost lives.
But the fact is, when the world is evolving, one cannot stick to the old ways because nobody else will engage in that mode. To cut a long story short, the pharmaceutical companies eventually figured out various stages of checks and safety measures to digitize their online drug supplies. But how do consumers approach this model? How do they check where to buy what and whether it is genuine? In this blog, we will look into some aspects that would make buying drugs online safely and conveniently easy.
Choose a Licensed and Reputable Online Pharmacy
In this saturated market, medical stores are everywhere, and it is pretty common for unlicensed or unregistered drug dealers to rip you off. But to avoid such trembles, it is recommended to research and find a reputable and authorized pharmacy with all the required licenses, registrations, and certifications to run that store. So rest assured, when you buy from that shop, you know you are buying genuine drugs.
Consult Your Healthcare Provider
It is more dangerous to have little knowledge than to have no knowledge. People tend to get confident with little wisdom and make mistakes, so many directly visit medical stores for quick relief pills without consulting a physician. Although the medical store would only give you drugs with proper prescriptions, some would be okay with doing so even without a prescription.
But this may prove harmful in the long run because a physician would rather have multiple vitals of yours in mind while jotting down your prescription, and he may be prescribing something that is custom crafted to your bodily behavior. By overriding the physician's perspective and prescription, you would be causing critical damage to your health. So consulting your healthcare provider is another step that one must follow before buying any medicine online.
Check for Prescription Requirements
People who have nothing to hide go by the books. So when the law states that you must hold a prescription to get medications from a medical store, you should hold the prescription, and pharmaceutical companies that demand your prescription indirectly prove that they are genuine. Having that said, beware of websites or portals that are there to issue you drugs without a prescription, those are mostly unregistered or non licensed medical stores, and one should even report such websites if one feels like a socially responsible human being.
Verify Pharmacy Credentials
As we discussed briefly, a registered pharmacy will always have its license and registration. Always look for proper credentials or brand establishments before choosing the right online store for your drug delivery. A genuine document always has a physical address, operational phone number, email ID’s, etc. So if you, in fact, approach them demanding it, they probably wouldn't mind showing because they won't have anything to hide, but those who get impulsive or angry when you raise such a request may have something fishy with their documents.
Protect Your Personal Information
While making online payments, it is important to notice if the payment gateway is well-protected and encrypted. You must keep your financial data safe to avoid cyber threats or theft. While at the payment page, check for your browser's address bar for the padlock icon, indicating that it's a secure payment gateway.

After much agonizing about scheduling difficulties, the universe aligned so that I had time to go to immigration today! I took a number and then got all my form-filling and photocopier-battling and picture-taking done with time to spare! Then I sat down in the seats by the immigration window, directly in front of a sign saying student ARCs could only be applied for online. I was, shall we say, mildly irate. I decided to keep sitting there and then interrogate the immigration agent about this myself. My desire for pestering waned as I watched a row of young westerners with Fulbright-emblazoned bags fill the available windows and proceed to sow grief and confusion, inciting phone calls and the ministrations of their handler, who emerged from the waiting seats and scurried back and forth (evidently to little avail). By the time my number was called all I did was ask very politely in Chinese if I really had to file online (yes), where exactly I was supposed to scan my documents (just photograph them), and when this policy was implemented (two years ago), because evidently I needed to have words with my school for misleading me about the process.
I went home and did not make any attempts to file online, instead I took a very long nap, went out for curry, then went to the bookstore and browsed postcards. At the register I couldn’t understand the cashier saying the number 17 to me. I was looking at the price on the register and expecting to hear a totally different number so the fact that she was saying 十七 just did not process- I repeated it slowly out loud, trying to appear thoughtful and buy time before making any kind of fatal error, when she said it again in English, looking at me like I was a few crayons short of a box, and I realised she was informing me how many postcards I was purchasing.

The Importance of Getting A PPSR Certificate
The PPSR (Personal Property Security Registration) system was launched by the Government of Australia on 30th January 2012. It is the official register of the Government, combining several state-based registers into one single-window entity. Some of the existing registers that were merged included the REVS and the ASIC Register of Company Charges. Anybody can access the online register round the clock and get PPSR Certificate.
The PPSR certificate is a document of a security interest in personal property that is mainly related to debts and other obligations whenever there is a lien on it. By definition for PPSR, personal property is limited to cars, company assets, boats, cars, used goods, and intellectual property. Land and fixtures fall outside the purview of this personal property.
Now, why should you get PPSR Certificate after registering a security interest on personal property? It is to let everybody know that you are the rightful owner of the personal property and that you have a security interest in it. Any transactions on that property without your knowledge are therefore illegal. This system is so popular today that on the PPSR, millions of searches take place every year in Australia.
Tumblr media
What safeguards are you ensuring for your business or any form of personal property if you get PPSR Certificate? It becomes especially beneficial for those who are buying property or lending money against a lien on personal property. When you get PPSR Certificate, you get full particulars of the property, its ownership, lien, and in the case of movable property, whether it is genuine and not stolen. With these details and insights, you will at once know if you will be getting good returns on your investment.
It is very important to know whether the property you want to buy is free from debt and does not have any lien on it by a financial institution. Without a clear title, you cannot transfer the ownership to your name and there will always be a fear of repossession even if you have made full and final payment for it.
Take the example of buying a used car. Before selling it, the owner will ensure that it apparently looks in excellent condition but the true history of the vehicle will only be revealed if you get PPSR a Certificate after verification of the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number). Some of the particulars that you will get about your intended purchase are where the vehicle was built, the manufacturer, brand, engine size, and type of vehicle, the security code that denotes that it has been authorized by the manufacturer, the model, the year of the vehicle, and which plant manufactured the car. With a VIN check and a Certificate, you will at once know that you are getting value for your money.
The Registrar of Personal Properties Securities, appointed by the Attorney General’s Department, manages and controls the functioning of the PPSR.
