Yk what fuck it I'm feeling joyous and filled with love in going to be a sap for a second.

I am not very good at holding onto people online. My self isolation tendencies and anxiety always mean that I end up cutting people off despite how much I love them. But it's actually kind of nice yk, to be able to have silly people in my phone who I can talk to.

Its interesting the way that friends are made. It starts out as someone I might like to know, someone I interact with once or twice entirely by chance. (I remember looking at someone's tumblr who I'm now quite close with and thinking how I would like to befriend them even though I thought there would be no chance of it.) And then a few months later I leave a call or respond to a message or reblog a post and realise I have fallen utterly in (platonic) love with someone I have never met irl.

I might have only known these people for a few months but I love them so so much it makes me feel sick. I daydream about meeting my online friends in real life to make myself happy. Honestly it's a little pathetic.

But I'm rambling now. The point is whether we are mutuals who've talked once or someone I never go a day without messaging I love you I love you I love you. I love you so much it hurts and you deserve to have a wonderful year and a wonderful life and I will try my best to be there for you, even through a screen.

Really happy with how she turned out! I decided to give her some naiad features, inspired by this post and it was really fun! I hc that she can breathe underwater (even though she doesn't have gills. Do naiads have gills?), although I am not sure if she can do it freely or for a limited amount of time 🤔

The fabric piece covering her chest was loosely inspired by 18th century neckerchiefs, because I wasn't sure how the Mycenaean open chest fashion would fly with the censorship here or on other platforms ¯⁠\⁠_(•⁠ ⁠▽⁠ ⁠•⁠;)⁠_⁠/⁠¯

Idk why but I like to think that Gary, while being a “normal human being” has a combination of things about him that are both very unsettling, and just mildly unsettling, and the more of them you notice the more inhuman he seems

Staring off strong in the very unsettling category, his eyes have black screlas with white irises (he covers them with shades most of the time) buuut he also has three eyes- you probably didn’t notice the third because he’s able to make it look like a tattoo, but if you’re observant you can see it blink on occasion

Sure he has super sharp teeth but upon closer inspection he also has just- too many. Like. No one should have that many teeth. And when he smiles his skin stretches juuussst a little too much and once you see it you can’t unsee it

His facial hair is actually probably the most normal thing about him, but, there’s like, no undertone to the pigmentation of it. Like, there’s supposed to be an undertone but there isn’t one (since we don’t really know his actual hair color I’m kinda leaving this up to peoples interpretation but in my head his hair is just- pitch black. Which like isn’t humanly possible)

His nails are long and sharp but his hands are also just.. off. Sure he’s in his fifties, but even at that age they seem too boney. His fingers are also just- longer?? Than normal??

He’s really tall. Like obviously tall people aren’t that odd but I mean he’s REALLY tall. Like why are you that large good sir. (I can’t decide so let’s say his height is within the range of 6’8” to 7’0”)

Despite all this he’s also really damn strong and it always throws people off because hey, why is the tall lanky boney fifty year old that strong that’s not how this is supposed to work (I imagine this was John’s thought process as he watched Gary literally HURL his trident, which is taller than him by several inches, across an entire ROOM)

He’s almost entirely covered in robes (or head to toe business attire when he needs to go out) so these are basically all the things your average every day business associate, acolyte or terrified preist will notice, but I mean there’s more things about him that are off- that is a post for another time

What's funny is, I was also fresh into joining the Megaman fandom when I watched Fully Charged so the way people got upset about it, didn't affect me because I was new to it 😭

Tbh, my sister was already a fan and saw her watching Megaman Ruby Spears and that's how I got hooked 💀

But there's just a huge difference of having negative opinions towards the show and it's either you watched it completely so it's valid OR you watched someone TALK about it badly which made you also agree with said commenter 😔

People are incredibly hasty when it comes to judging new content from old IP's and I kinda find it disheartening

I dont really understand the collective cynicism surrounding fully charged when it realesed, I'm sure people were heavily disappointed by the show not continuing an existing megaman plot, but I feel as though they also had to have understood that the show was ment to get younger kids interested in the franchise and keep megaman as a franchise atleast a little relevant in the later years, (at least that's my rationalization for why Capcom decided to make another show instead of making another game)

And for what it's worth, the showrunners did try and include bits that nodded to the actual franchise to entertain older fans, (like roll's Rockstar poster, and man man's existence as a whole, and of course suna and the robot masters with their design nods to thier respective counterparts) though I feel like they where a little limited with what they where given

One last small tangent, I see people often complaining about the fully charged robot master designs, especially airman for some reason, and it might just be backseat I didn't grow up eith the classic airman design, but I feel like those who say the classic design is better are just maybe a smidgen based with rode colored glasses, they are both cool designs, don't get me wrong, but I sorta feel like the fully charged airman is just more intricate, as abused to classic airman who is is quite literally a giant fan,

(Agian, no hate, I like both designs, I just think fc Airman has more going for him design wise,)

i may have a very complicated relationship with my mother, but sometimes my heart thinks that the music we both love will bridge the gap between us. that queen will magically make her arms feel like home, and not somewhere hard and suffocating to be inside of.
