To all of us hoping that Gregory will be the protag of HW2, I have found a bit of info that might help fasten that theory.
I'm not sure if anyone else has pointed these things out before. So keep that in mind when reading.
Theory rambling incoming from here on out.
So a few weeks ago I got myself this lovely book here.
And while it is just a general cookbook with some fancy recipes in it, we all know that in true FNaF fashion there is more going on here than it seems.
And boy there sure is, even if some of these are rather obvious. Because throughout the entire book there are added pieces of paper with small notes that contain info on them.
And these little straps of notes are written by none other than Gregory himself. With the notes themselves indicating that these are post Security Breach as evident by these specific notes right here:
These are very clearly written by Gregory and all tie into the events of Security Breach.
(There are a few more notes mentioning how you should always keep your eyes on the Endos, grab an Ultimate Pass from Bonnie Bowl, Chica eating from the garbage, that you should grab a Party Pass for Fazerblast and use the blaster to stun animatronics, how Moon is and I quote "a nightmare animatronic" and to keep away from the Staffbot flashlights)
But there are even more notes in the book that do not follow the events of the game but rather talk about older versions of all the characters we all know and love. And not just that but Gregory is flat out describing mechanisms from previous games. Like this note:
Not to mention the note itself is attached to an image with the FNaF 1 office.
There is also notes on how you should watch Bonnie's every move, to never take your eyes off from Foxy's hook and how Foxy's eyepatch doesn't seem to stop him from hunting intruders.
But the most fascinating, and most random note to me, has to be this one:
A note from Gregory describing Ballora. I could kinda understand that Gregory might have gotten info on the classic four animatronics via searching stuff up, but the fact that Ballora is mentioned here, and only her from SL, makes me think that this is way more important than a random little easter egg.
Because let's take a look at the HW2 trailers again? We know for a fact that the three main games featured in this new one will be Security Breach, Pizza Sim and Sister Location.
And that is the important part, because Ballora was only and only in SL and nowhere else. Heck she was even the first animatronic teased in the first HW2 trailer.
Some people theorize that Cassie could be the one we play as in HW2 because of the Foxy ride shown in the second trailer, and with Cassie mentioning that she had been on this ride before, but here we have a game that includes Ballora and could be a potential GGY prequel where we play as Gregory.
Now we have a book with notes written by Gregory, mentioning Ballora. And not just that but HW2 could be where Gregory got all the info for the older animatronics from.
We do see that the new Foxy ride attraction includes the FNaF 1 office, which could be how Gregory knows Chica's specific attack pattern and also knows more about Bonnie and especially Foxy. Because outside of cutouts and references and images in SB and RUIN there is no way that any of these kids should really know much about Foxy.
Sure Cassie might know stuff from her dad but Gregory? There is no way he could have known most of this stuff. Unless he played a game prior to SB where he did get to know about the old animatronics.
And all of this isn't even me mentioning how Gregory, somehow, managed to dig up the old news paper articles from FNaF 1, 2 and 3 and put them into the cookbook.
Heck the first note you see from him is of the first location threatened to be shutdown because of the weird odor and mucus from the OG animatronics after the first MCI! Followed by the MCI report itself:
Other articles that were included are of the original help wanted ad in the paper where they are looking for a night guard. The article about the OG pizzaria closing down. The second help wanted poster from FNaF 2 which talks about the grand reopening in 1987. And the two news articles about Fazbear's Fright opening and then eventually burning to the ground.
Not sure how or why Gregory managed to get a hold on all of these and why he decided to include them in the cookbook. But they are there.
And that's kinda all the info I found myself. I'm not the best at doing these theory things but I'm trying.
Am I maybe digging for hints where there might not be any? Possibly.
Do I however feel that this could be important clues to figuring out more about Gregory? Oh absolutely.

theyre a pair of twin beasts, middle schoolers! i have no idea who is hazelnut and who is chestnut i kept calling them both names like that, theyre they/them in the way there are always two kids. these kids are beasts(?) that look like human but with magic and animal ears and tails. theyre adopted by a desi family of wizards so they do witchy spellcasting stuff. their names are in vietnamese cause. well im viet, and theyre kind of a ripoff of a vietnamese early 2000s tv show about a family of wizards (LOL) coming to the human world and try to blend in, except mine is just about the family trying to take care of these two beasts and the shenanigans revolve around them! if i were to continue writing them now i'd probably do the sitcom format, something like old d*sney channel series like wizard of waverly place (wait i think i also stole from this LMAO) or good luck charlie where the focus is on the interpersonal relationships of everyone in the family and how they are to the kids, growing as they learn to take care of them? idk. but this was 2012, i was 12, so i ripped from cardcaptor sakura and ben10 and pokémon or other similar video games to make them into mahou-kodomo shounen protags going around different worlds capturing creatures-of-the-week but theyre all in the back of my head now </3 vote for them if you like little animal freaks that would crawl on the floor chewing furniture and bite each other then cry to mom

How I Outline/Plot: Including Author Resources for Developing Characters and Self Publishing
First and foremost, everything I’ve included in this doc that references resources (such as the plot outline below), is also available for free on the authors’ respective websites. I just wanted to recreate the template Scrivener file I use when starting a new project as I’ve collected everything in one master file.

I recently posted the chapter count for my upcoming Mafia MM romance I'm writing for NaNoWriMo this year and was asked how I plot by @duckyreads
Below, I've included screenshots of the first couple beats of my process and how much detail I usually include when outlining. The template I'm working from is an edited one of Romancing the Beat by Gwen Hayes, who offers her beat sheet for free on her site and in a Scrivener Template.
Using Romancing the Beat, I first went through and made a separate page for each story beat for my protagonist, Zac. I can't do just normal three act structure as it's too vague for me. I need Too Much to work with, then I can whittle it down later. I then did the same for the love interest and Mafia boss, Joe. (name might be changed idk yet.)
The colored dots represent which act of the story I'm in. Light pink= Act 1: Set Up, Dark Pink= Act 2: Falling, Blue= Act 3: Retreating, and Purple= Act 4: Shake it Off.
I also want to note that even though the epilogue is written in for both characters' POV, I'm only writing it once, from Zac's POV. So not every single beat necessarily translates directly into its own chapter. A few from Joe's POV are definitely combined more than once.
So Chapter 1, Scene 1: Zac's sister Riley has made him a dating profile and set him up on a date with who will soon be revealed as a crime lord.
I'm repetitive, because I've gone back in at different points and added little notes here and there. But my basic points I want to convey right off the bat: Zac is a hot mess who drinks to excess at times, has a sister who loves him but he is always putting her in a hard position, and has issues with money and violence from his childhood.
I also like to include some dialogue or rough snippets for scenes because it helps make the scene feel more concrete to me. I don't always do this though.
This is Chapter 1, Scene 2. Very short and to the point. (This was something I originally started writing as a fic btw.)
This is Chapter 2, Scene 1 and is the first from Joe's perspective.
It's plotty compared to the first chapter. I haven't done any nitty gritty location research yet so I put stuff I don't know yet in asterisks or brackets or in something like "XXX", because XXX is easy to find and change with ctrl+f > replace.
This is from Chapter 3, Scene 1. Just vibes.
This is from Chapter 4, Scene 2, from Joe's POV after the date.
This is what I ended up with. I'm sure as I work through it, the chapter count will go down. I don't really want my romance book to be so long, but I saw recently that 50 Shades is apparently over 500 pgs, which is wild to me. I'm also doing alternating POV, so it'll be switching between my protag and the love interest.
My outlining/plotting steps:
Decide on genre and type of story structure I want to use.
Decide on my protagonist and lay out a new page/note for every story beat of whatever structure I'm using.
Go in order or jump around and write a little per beat based on how I want a scene to go. For me, feeling is more important than knowing exactly what's going to happen. I'm not naturally a plotter, so I still like to not be constrained when I'm actually writing. (ie I'm not adhering to some rigid word count per chapter.) And if I changed something or added a thing while writing, I go back to the outline after and add it in so it all lines up and I don't forget something I did.
If a beat doesn't fit its own chapter, I make it a scene. It's also okay for multiple beats to happen in one chapter too.
Do the same for any other POVs involved in the story. Try to make each character have their own arc as well, no matter how small.
Really my main advice is go with your gut first because you can always add on or retract later. Write what you want (with some awareness of genre tropes/audience wants if you're trying to write to market to some extent). All book publishing is fickle and mean a lot of the time. And honestly unless you're one of the few who gets picked up by traditional publishers and offered an amazing deal, you'll be expected to pay for all the things you'd be paying for with self publishing, except with fewer rights to your own work. I'd rather pay and manage my own website, ads, and ARC readers and retain total rights to my own creations than give my rights to a publisher who might hold my book up for years, and still expect me to fund my own advertising, book tours etc.
And besides, if you self publish, there is no rule you can't have another book (and then even your backlog) traditionally published later on. You can have both.

Oh my God!! I don't know how real this is but apparently the new book confirms that phenafore was a series of experiments that William did on a bunch of random kids???
WHAT????
I don't know about a bunch of random kids since according to my sources we don't get actual specification of any more kids than the main protag of the story, but yeah, it seems to clear up the FNAF 4 rooms in Sister Location.
The FNAF 4 nightmares themselves would still be Mike, what with the Phone Guy audio and hospital equipment and whatnot, but it could be that the Remnant in the scooper came from the emotions generated during William's experiments, and that's why he had the nightmares/memories
I'll say I think this story is a parallel and not exactly game canon btw. Just so you guys know since most people default to Tales being fully canon lol

FNAF HOT TAKE: I hate what the SL did to fnaf4. TDLR at the bottom
Really most of this comes down to mike being the protag of 4. I've accepted it by now, but it still pisses me off. Mostly because all of the separate parts feel off now. Why are we so tiny? Why are the robots grotesquely morbid? The cutscenes/minigames? THE HOSPITAL PROPERTY?? It made since being a child's nightmares leading up to their death. BUT NOOO, Now it's all just "OOOoOOoOOh Williamn did all this cuz Mikey killed his baby who he could hypothetically bring back but doesn't OOOooOooOoo-" Like bro. Now it's 100% Canon in my mind that William just chloroformed mike, dragged him to the sister location, didn't elaborate to ANY of the workers and robots, and progressively stole hospital equipment to gaslight his son ,who lets be reasonable for once, Already felt like shit because of that.
TLDR: Scottcon made fnaf 4 off the walls crazy to explain, and this cannon:

NNN Failure - Protags (Hajime, Makoto & Shuichi)

Failed: Day 30
Report: Now, this was a close fight to the finish. What happens when you have three guys - each one having hordes of ladies that desire them, mind you - that are not only stopped from cumming from an entire month, but also have to deal with said ladies who are increasingly growing frustrated that they can't fuck them yet (both concerning those who failed and those who are close to breaking).
Well, you get a fight for survival that had all three team-up in a group effort to stay unfucked for as long as possible. From barricading themselves in Shuichi's office as the likes of Angie, Mikan, Sato, Celeste and Miu were tearing down their doors, to hiding in the locker rooms as Hina, Kirumi and Natsumi lurked about for some 'fun time in the pool', to even running at full speed in the woods to escape the horniness of an Ibuki, Sakura and Tsumugi hellbent on making a romp in the woods to remember!
They were so close...but things started to fall apart when they got separated in town on the last day. Desperate, Hajime thought to hide in Chiaki's apartment on the last day to wait it out. She was usually chill so he could probably pass the day here, right? Well, when he got himself inside, the gamer was waiting for her in the world's most ill-fitted set of pajamas that not only showed so much of her jugs, and was snug around her chubby ass, but so put on so poorly that Hajime could even see parts of her thong and a good deal of her soft stomach. Try as he could to resist, it was during a co-op session with her that she took noticed of his 'issues playing' and sought to remedy it...with her mouth. Hajime was out, but he sure didn't care at this point...and certainly wasn't going to care as more girls from his class would come on by to 'punish' him for his failure~ (Especially with the likes of Natsumi, Mikan and Mahiru~)
As for Makoto, for once, his luck seemingly hadn't screwed him and got him to hide out in his room, door locked and all. He was safe...only for him to look to his closet and see Kyoko and Sayaka dressed in lingerie and clearly having zero intentions of letting him go so easily (bribing the love of your life's mother and sister to do this with concert tickets, and getting to hear such a fuckfest themselves gets you pretty far it seems~). But given how beautiful both looked, yeah, Makoto called it quits too, with him barely being able to announce it before the horny women descended upon him. Craving that big, thick, 'Hope' he's been carrying all month~ And they wouldn't be the only ones as they announced his location to the rest of their class...they just had first dibs (and both knew they needed to get some alone time with him before Mukuro or Junko showed up~)
Finally, then there was Shuichi. He couldn't go back to his agency (still getting repairs) and he knew he couldn't risk being out in the open for long. So...he took a risk. They'll be looking everywhere for him, but would they really consider that he'd be hiding out in some place he'd detested. Like...oh! DICE's hideout!! Shuichi usually avoided it like the plague, but if it meant he could win the challenge he'd be happy with it. After managing to locate Kokichi, he begged to hide there...and the Supreme Leader agreed. Though on the condition that Shuichi will have to pay a fee for requesting their aid. Shuichi, though suspicious, agreed. He was taken to the hideout and, as if became night, gradually began to calm down. It was risky, but he finally was going to win!!! Well, at least he thought. But there was the issue of the 'fee' Kokichi mentioned. As it turns out? Said fee was walking into Kokichi's room with three very horny clown girls and the hung dictator femboy himself - all naked and all very horny for some detective ass~ Shuichi would have ran...but, well, Kokichi's cock was already alluring him in way too much. And those girls were noththing to sneeze at. Hence, Shuichi broke and eager began to suck off Kokichi, while his minions worked to help 'initiate' Shuichi into DICE by either eating him out or getting some of that cum out before the other girls arrived. Which, by the way, Kokichi pretty much snitched on Shuichi immediately to turn this orgy up a notch~ ("My dear Shuichi only asked for me to let him into my hideout, he never said I couldn't tell the others about it~")
So, yes, their long journey ended in failure. But given how it ended with essentially the greatest, literal fucking, night of their lives...the trio agreed that, for next year, maybe skipping out on the challenge might better in the long run~

Finding Inaba
When I visited Japan in April, I got the idea in my head to visit the region that I believe represents where Persona 4 takes place since I had just replayed it in January. But how do you go somewhere that isn't real? Anime and video game pilgrimages are a thing. The term 聖地巡礼 (pilgrimage to the holy land) is used in Japanese to describe visiting a real life location that was used in a fictional something or other you saw. If you read up on the SMT fan wiki, it tells you to go to Fuefuki in Yamanashi because it has/had buildings there that look like the ones from Persona 4. But I wanted something more "authentic". Rather than go see a building, I wanted to go to an area that I thought reflected the game.
At the start of the game, the protagonist leaves the big city (presumably Tokyo) behind and goes to a small nowheresville city in the sticks called Inaba and he gains a Persona named after Izanagi (one of the important figures from the Kojiki). Inaba is a fictional, but I believe that a mashup of somewhere in Shimane and Tottori makes sense as a "real" location for it.
The game has a lot of references to the Kojiki mythology besides Izanagi - like the name Inaba itself comes from the Hare of Inaba, and the protag goes to a high school called Yasogami High. The modern day equivalents to some of the areas used as settings in those stories can be found in the Sanin region, which spans part of Shimane and Tottori. The eastern half of the Tottori prefecture where Tottori city is also used to be called the Inaba area before it was folded into Tottori. Those 2 are also the least populated prefectures in Japan, contributing to the "small town" and "nowheresville" feeling.
Izanagi's sister/wife that he co-created Japan with, Izanami, is said to be buried on Mt Hiba in Shimane where the modern day city of Yasugi is. (Perhaps Izanami is hanging out as a gas station attendant around her tomb? Hmm.) And Iya, located near Yasugi, has a folklore site called Yomotsuhirasaka named after the entrance to the underworld which also gets referenced as a dungeon. I wrote about my visit there in another post.
The map of Inaba from the game would kinda look like the map of Yasugi if you flipped it upside too. 🤔
The Tottori area in particular also makes sense geographically as the gang could theoretically ride scooters to the beach for the summer event, there's nearby skiing areas for the February event, plus the cast could feasibly go on a class trip to Kobe (the city used as the basis for Iwatodai from P3) from Tottori in a few hours time for the September event. Perhaps Tottori City itself is the larger Okina City in the game?
As you can tell, I have thought about this a completely normal(?) amount because I am unsatisfied with the belief in the fandom regarding Fuefuki in Yamanashi being Inaba purely due to buildings from there being used for location references. I get that Atlus themselves wrote about using Fuefuki as a reference. But like, the eastern half of Tottori used to be called Inaba and you can even go visit Yomotsuhirasaka. To me, the Sanin area represents it better.
Unrelated but amusing coincidence: There's a famous museum with a landscape garden in Yasugi called the Adachi Museum of Art. Clearly, Adachi opened a landscape garden over Izanami's tomb.

Aaa youwrite a lot of fics,I wondering if I could ask some advice,,, (disregard if you don't wanna, that's okay :^) ) for context; I'm writing a post sister location type drabble and im curious if I should set it up similarly for the protag to run through it in a similar way to how sister locations gameplay went for Michael
i think canon divergence is more interesting and will be better to read rather than basically just reading sister location but in writing form, so something new happening or something interesting being added enough to make the original nights different enough to be like new is a good idea :)

So while I think that Help Wanted 2 might call this into question, I have been of the belief that Elizabeth died in early 1983 and Sister Location takes place in 1990, because after 7 years of a missing person case having no leads, the person is declared dead. Thematic relevance. Anyways, this ties back to Cassidy because I think the traumatizing thing he witnessed was Elizabeth’s death. If the official guide is to be believed and the nightmares are his, this would also explain the mouth in the stomach (though him being the protag then fails to explain everything else, I’ll make that a different post) because how else would a child rationalize seeing what happened to Elizabeth than an animatronic eating her?
Not so much a headcanon but in a lot of depictions of the bite, his entire head is inside Fredbear’s mouth instead of between the teeth. This puts Fredbear’s incisors right over his neck, which would result less in head trauma and more in head… severance. This force would sever his skull from his spine at least, and if it broke skin/muscle/etc, it would likely fully decapitate him. I bring this up because I keep seeing that “the withereds are how the missing kids died 😱😱😱” thing passed around as fact on my TikTok fyp and everyone keeps saying “CASSIDY GOT HER ENTIRE SKELETON BRUTALLY AND PAINSTAKINGLY RIPPED OUT INCH BY INCH WHILE SHE WAS ALIVE THE WHOLE TIME 😱😱😱😱😱” but if we’re to assume that then. Golden Freddy can detach his head, so decapitation is also a fair assumption and a much less stupid and needlessly violent one. I just needed to talk about that somewhere.
I am a believer that Cassidy is trans. Not because Cassidy is a girl’s name, but because I like him. That being said, I also can dig gender apathetic Cassidy. (Still thinking about that)
I imagine Cassidy has like DID/OSDD or something ngl.

At one point I did the math (well, really inadequate math, the heights are hella inconsistent), and I think my understanding of Cassidy’s proportional size indicates he’s about eight, turning nine.

Battrick Nathew likes to make the lore so convoluted, but I don't see what's so convoluted about it.
FNAF4 -> FNAF1 -> ??? (possibly Sister Location, but not sure) -> FNAF2 -> Some of The Novels -> FNAF3 -> Help Wanted -> The Rest of The Novels -> Security Breach
The bite of '83 was the crying child one, and the bite of '87 was the one where the FNAF2 protag gets bitten the shit out of by a twink rabbit.
Fredbear and Golden Freddy are different attempts at dual-animatronic-suits that failed thus explaining why two different souls are connected to/represented by the yellow grizzly.
