My local network habitually aired Power Rangers episodes all out of order when I was a kid – we were lucky if both parts of a two-parter ended up airing consecutively, much less anything further-reaching – so I always had a fuzzy idea of how some of the plot points lined up.

For example, I didn't realise until just now that the gag where Bulk and Skull got turned into chimpanzees wasn't a one-off thing? Apparently they just stayed that way for the next fifteen episodes, and continued to serve as the show's comic relief B-plot in spite of being monkeys, voice-acted Garfield style by their regular human actors?

Now I'm wondering what else the out-of-order airing made me fail to connect the dots for.

I’m glad the appreciation for skulls and other vulture culture aspects are starting to catch more people’s attention, but it sucks because it’s just turned into people bulk buying skulls off dropshipping websites and then reselling them at double the price at an art/craft show. It just feels wrong.

Bulk: I'm the kind of guy that can only play the opening five chords to Wonderwall on a guitar and buys a twelve pack of condoms before international travel. Jason: ...I can't tell if this makes you look responsible or impractical. Billy: Tie-breaker? Skull: He's also the kind of guy that uses the turn signal in an empty parking lot. Jason/Tommy/Kim (all at once pouncing on Bulk like kittens): Sold.

I am so sorry Bulk and Skull fans. orz Just there’s not enough angst of these two out there and I just… ya know had to do it. Skull is just uh… taking a nap and Bulk is giving him a big hug! And that’s just ketchup on Skull’s face. Totally not the alternative… Also can y’all guess what the posing composition here is inspired by? Hint is a painting from the Realism movement during the late 1800’s! The first person to guess it gets to request a drawing idk.

Rise of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers - Angel Grove High Students

A couple more students that attend Angel Grove High School with the Rangers, meet Angela; as well as some freshman who've just moved up from Stone Canyon Middle, Aisha, Rocky and Adam!

Angela Campbell is an older sister by instinct, but no push over. Since the beginning of their Sophmore Year, she's been enjoying a romantic cat-and-mouse game with one Zack Taylor, always interested in what scheme he'll come up with to earn her affections. Of course, he already has them, but the game's a bit too fun to let him win just yet.

Angela's younger sister Aisha, as well as her two best friends - Rocco "Rocky" De Santos and Adam Park - moved to Angel Grove from Stone Canyon to be closer to the Power Rangers, after seeing the reports on their exploits through the R4ngerN3T ClikClak account. The three of them eventually get recruited by Bulk & Skull to help collect eye witness reports and film fights when possible, getting themselves into more trouble those two already do for a good story. Though impulsive, the trio do have great potential that will not go unnoticed.
