Random fun facts b4 bed! Whoo!!!
I never rly realized just how severe my pickiness is. Bc. I'll eat anything. I love food. I love trying food too. Buuuut, if im at home I won't eat many foods. Lettuce, most raw veggies, I like chips but hate how they get stuck in my teeth (i avoid a lot of similar foods), and i hate it when I toast things too much and all the skin on the roof of your mouth just says "im outta here"). There's probably more but this is an example. Oh also i hate food touching (I'm fine with it when it's at restaurants tho bc that's how it's supposed to be so it's okay). And when I do go out to eat (and try something new), I generally like picking it out beforehand or I take a while to decide everything I want. I love that places have online menus now bc I often just decide using that.
Also I've been stimming a lot lately. Probably bc ive been tired. But I wonder why that tends to cause it? Probably bc it's a self soothing behaviour. How neat.

ON IT, BOSS!!!
Scott stepped into the Ranch - his new home, ever since he and his boyfriends started going steady - after harvesting and replanting some wheat to make bread for their dinner tonight.
He smiled at Jimmy's look of concentration from the kitchen area, watching the steak in the oven with his brows furrowed to make sure nothing burned (this time). He wandered over to set the wheat bundles on a countertop and sat down beside the crop, legs swinging idly while Jimmy let out a hum to acknowledge his presence.
"Nearly there, Jimmy?" Scott asked in an amused tone.
"Not quite." Jimmy muttered, his legs looking ready to buckle from the strain of crouching for so long.
Scott chuckled and ruffled his hair affectionately, earning a pout and a swat to the hand for the gesture.
"I'm cookin' here!" Jimmy glared from the corner of his eye.
"And you're doing a great job there, Jimbo." A voice said from the doorway, Scott lifting his head to see his other boyfriend standing there with a basket of steaming baked potatoes.
"Welcome home, Rancher!" Jimmy called with a wave over his shoulder, not looking away from the furnace still.
"Potatoes are ready." Tango said as a way of greeting to Scott as he walked over, kissing the blue haired man's cheek. "Bread?"
"Not yet, waiting for the kitchen to clear up a bit." Scott said and nodded Jimmy’s way.
"It's nearly done, I tell ya!" Jimmy chimed back as Scott chuckled with a smile.
"I brought some porkchops as a backup if anything happens." Tango whispered conspiratorially with a wink.
"Smart." Scott praised, kissing Tango’s lips quickly before Tango’s face erupted in red-hot blush.
"Hey, when do I get one of those from you ungrateful lot?" Jimmy whined.
"When you come up here and ask for one." Scott shrugged.
"Really?" Jimmy said, turning his head completely away from the meat cooking before him for the first time since either man entered the house.
Tango laughed while Scott nodded, and Jimmy sprang up from his knees and leaned in close as a silent ask.
Tango grinned and cradled Jimmy’s face in his hands to kiss him, Scott watching in amusement the way Jimmy started to blush and smile against the other man's lips.
It didn't take long for them to separate, but once they did, Scott grabbed hold of Jimmy’s shirt collar before the man could even thank Tango and tugged him into a second kiss.
Scott slowly pulled away as he sniffed the air. "Do you smell...burning?" He muttered.
Jimmy's eyes shot wide.
"The steak!" He squawked, diving down to pull the burnt meat from the oven.
Tango pat his back while Jimmy mourned the loss of their dinner and pulled three slices of porkchops out within Jimmy’s view.
"Figured this might happen, buddy." Tango said. "But you almost had it! Have another go!" He encouraged.
"We won't bother you this time." Scott added with a smile while Jimmy nodded sullenly.
"While Jimmy handles the meat, why don't you and I start on the bread, flower boy?" Tango wondered with a grin, wrapping his arms around Scott from behind once Scott stood to face the counter.
"I'd like that." Scott agreed, leaning back into his touch while Jimmy grinned lovestruck at them.
After a do-over, dinner was finally ready, and it was another peaceful day at the Ranch.

Not too bad.
Made some bread yesterday using my 3 ingredient recipe that's pretty fuck up proof.
Butters got an accidental 6 mile walk because I was just chilling and rambling and he's too dumb to say "Mom. My feets are tired and I wanna go home" so he just plods along with me as long as he gets chin scritches and a "pretty baby" every so often... Labradog/hound mixes are just fun like that.
And Porkchop got her sleepy time special and a nail trim after her bath so... she's holding a grudge still but, she'll be fine once she gets her bone and realizes the sheep are outside.

it’s as bad as his odor, i mean come on. He’s obviously been living off bread and dried out jerky, so no telling if he knows how well dried out his jerky is..nor does he know what seasoning is.
He wouldn’t even want to cook in the first place, he’ll leave it up to whoever else in the house or the last option, sypha? or alucard? whomever it may concern, he’s not cooking.
let’s say he was coerced into doing the cooking! everyone is sitting in his face at the dinner table quiet, some talking complimenting his “culinary skills”. But you have alucard here being as blunt as ever when he tastes the unseasoned meat. Well at least it’s not dry?
Trevor already knew his cooking was bad before alucards input. But oh well, that just shows he can’t cook and literally didn’t even try.

even tho it’s not as bad as trevor, she still try’s and sometimes succeeds! usually goes to alucard to see how long to cook it or what seasonings to use.
she likes to cook because she’s learning new recipes, she doesn’t mine constructive criticism but not from trevor cause she thinks he is the last to be calling her food nasty.
but i would say she enjoys baking, like her cultural pastries. She was never really huge on cooking complex meals or cooking in general but she didn’t mind and never complained helping find herbs and vegetables for dinner or lunch.
she wouldn’t bake like cakes or stuff like that, maybe bread and cookies or small deserts but that’s all.
In my opinion, i see sypha as a breakfast type of person and trevor as a dinner type person while alucard is more of a lunch type of person. As sypha and trevor travel a lot, they really don’t have much time to cook whole meals just something quick for the road.

can cook very well! obviously.
picked it up from both his mom and dad, mostly his dad tho. Since his mom was out being a nurse here and there., dracula taught him how to cook basic meals and eventually fancy meals.
he doesn’t go all out on cooking unless it’s for a special event (parties, birthday party, dates) stuff like that. Actually doesn’t mind cooking at all, he can make just as much dishes as he likes.
Gives constructive criticism back on both sypha and trevor. Especially trevor! he tries not to be so harsh on sypha about her cooking cause he knows that she’s actually trying and knows what she’s doing a little bit, but for trevor? he can tell that this man doesn’t even care how black his porkchop is on one side. That’s why trevor is constantly henpecking him about paying attention to the pan before he burns down the kitchen and kills every one in it.
would fight a frenchman about which bread is better.

You were standing in the kitchen removing some cooked porkchops from the furnace. Your ears flick at the sound of the front door opening.
A small smile adorned your face as you continue preparing your Husbands food.
You could hear everything he was doing; from him removing his torn up sneakers to the sound of him mumbling your name.
Chuckling to yourself you shook your head gently and placed his food to the side and began preparing your food.
Before you knew it he was entering the kitchen, only to pick you up from behind and peppering kisses against the nape of your neck. You let out a small assortment of laughs and wrap your hands around his rough ones.
You leaned into his larger body and close your eyes. Your eye snapped open when he blew a stream of cold air into the back of your ear.
You squirmed in his arms until you were eye to eye with him.
"No, don't do that."
He laughed, "I have to though, messing with you is cute."
He reached for your ears and stroked it. Your nose and ear twitched. Huffing you buried your head in his chest.
"You're lucky I love you."
He hummed as he stroked your ear, "I love you too, Bun. Now, lets eat dinner?"

That night the two of you fell asleep feeling a warm feeling. Both from love, and from you body heat.

You quicken your pace. You were so caught up in your thoughts of buttery goodness that you didn't notice your Husband walking behind you.
Your tail was suddenly tugged on, hissing in surprise you turn around and wacked him with the basket.
Quackity looked at you in mock pain, "Did my partner just fucking hit me?? Abuse! Abuse! Help me I'm being abused!" he screamed out while flailing his arms around.
You stared at him with a deadpanned face, "You done now?" He stared at you and let out one more scream and then nodded.
Your lips twitched slightly, "you almost made me drop my bread n' cookies."
Quackity let out a small laugh and pulled you into his arms, "but you didn't! It's all fineee!" Letting out a small chuckle you pulled away from the hug.
You extended your arm for him, "c'mon Q, we can share if you behave," Quackity smiled and linked his arm with yours.
"Okay! You better watch out though, Ill go for your ears next."
Rolling your eyes you began walking down the path. "Of course you will. I love you Ducky."

wow i had leftover rice and leftover breaded porkchop in my fridge as well as a bag of coleslaw greens and a bag of frozen edamame and i was able to make a very delicious egg fried rice with chili oil topped with pork and an extra fried egg and it all came together in less than twenty minutes ;’)

btw the way i made the pork was by rubbing salt and pepper on both sides of some thinly sliced porkchops. and then dredging them in flour, then egg, then flour again, then egg again, then panko breadcrumbs. (the double coat of egg and flour makes the breading crunchier and crispier!)
once they were all properly coated in panko, i fried them for around 3 minutes on each side until they were a nice golden brown!
the sauce is very simple. i put roughly three big spoonfuls of peanut butter in a pan on medium high and let it melt a little bit. then slowly i added small amounts of chicken broth until it was a nice sauce consistency. i also added a splash of hoisin sauce for flavor.

Fish and Plume Fossils for the ask game!
This ended up being a bit of a long one, I'll post it under the cut.
I can sort of cook...! Gen will probably judge me a little for this one, though, because most of what I make is instant stuff that doesn't take a lot of time to make ready to eat...I make a mean porkchop if I've got the meat though. Take some bread crumbs, dip the chops in eggs mixed with butter, add a little seasoning of your choice, and...ta-dah!
It's just too bad that meat tends to go bad without proper storage on the road, otherwise I might be more into it. Maybe I should ask some Paldeans how they manage to preserve their sandwich meats. I much prefer making Aprijuice-- the stuff is incredibly good, and I can't get enough.
Actually, I guess now's as good a time as ever to post a picture of myself, huh? I never really did that, mostly because I didn't see much reason to.
Here's me decked out in my usual outfit! I think the photographer that took this one was called "bersickr" or something close to that? He's also the guy who took the picture in my pfp-- he was pretty cool, but he's one of those "minors dni" folks, so keep that in mind if you look for him.
My bag, my hat, and the scalchop are holdovers from when I was human--the scalchop is actually my old partner's! He lost his at some point but grew a new one before we found it, so my mom made it into a pin for my hat. The rest of my outfit was a gift from a friend after I was turned into a Pokemon--to commemorate the fact that I was still a Trainer after all that'd happened.
Considering that my old outfit was a red shirt and tan pants, I think I'm happy to have this instead, personally. Not having to wear shoes is nice too... usually.

hey y'all wanna hear about the most awkward moment of my life? it was excruciating and something i just read in a fanfic reminded me of it
so i was still working at my old job, manning and maintaining the meat counter, yeah? and i notice that one of my display pans is empty- one of the stuffed and breaded chicken breasts, or maybe it was one of the breaded porkchops, i don't remember which. it doesn't matter. either way, it was something with crumbs, and both those items got shipped in to us frozen, and then we took them out of the box and stuck 'em in the case to be displayed.
so i head to the big freezer in the back room, and as i push open the doors that lead to 1, the bathrooms, and 2, the back room, i hear voices. raised yet hushed. angry whispers. the kind that want to shout and want to whisper, and somehow combine the two.
there's this married couple standing just inside the hallways, having a very heated argument about their sex life and emotional needs just inside the doors. and then there's me. it's 10 am, i don't want to be there at all, and now i'm staring down two people who have just fallen very suddenly silent. i have already heard too much, which is "any of it," because this is not my business. i have also heard far more than i ever wanted, which, coincidentally, was also "any of it at all."
and all i can do is squeak out in my best Polite Midwesterner voice "scuse me, please, i just need to get past you there for a moment" and i haul ass into the back room as fast as i can speed walk.
i grab the box i am in there to get. i also grab several more boxes, just to delay having to go through that hallway again until i am absolutely, positively, 100% sure that the couple is gone. distantly, i hear them start arguing again. i decide to remain in the freezer, and focus intensely on the sound of the freezer's fans in a desperate struggle to not hear any of it.
it is -20 degrees fahrenheit in that freezer. i stand there in but a thin long-sleeved shirt, a polyester uniform polo, and a light fleecy vest, the kind worn by middle aged moms. i am freezing my ass off, and my arms hurt from holding all these boxes. it is five minutes before the two of them finally leave.

Minecraft Items Challenge Alpha 1.0 Part 5
The word of the day is travel, I am looking for Sugarcanes in a world where water in extremely rare. This legitimately took me about 6 hours.
My first idea for looking for sugar canes was trees along a coast, I figured sometimes ice might not freeze if there are leaves above the shore.
There are 4 somewhat rare items that I need to find in the overworld, The 2 types of mushrooms, Cactus, and Sugar Canes. The Red Mushroom is the first of those four, not even 75m from my base.
Headed back to my base because I left right before night fell, Minecraft before beds is a lot of waiting, this is when I started researching sugar canes in Winter Mode Worlds, I did not find anything yet
And that's surface exploration item #2, the Cactus.
I found this mountain and figured there might be a lot of overhangs on it because of how tall it is, where I found both of the ways water spawns in winter worlds, both in Gravel Beaches and in overhangs
After this, night fell again, and I did a little bit of mining while night passed. Got myself my first full set of iron armor, which will start to break by the end of this post and will end up in the collection.
I found this weird world gen thing, Ice only generating on the surface level, I think this is a quirk of lake worldgen.
Surface exploration Item #3, The Brown Mushroom. the worst fungus in minecraft to this day, love this guy.
about 150 minutes after that last image, I finally found sugarcane, this is the only block of water anywhere near here, super lucky. I wasn't even excited at this point, this was like 30 minutes before I had to get dressed for work and I wanted to make it back to base before I needed to leave.
Later, when I got back home, I finally found my base after being very nearly lost for way too long.
I did a bunch more mining and farming today, as well as crafting up anything I had all of the materials for, adding a bunch to my collection.
I added the Oak Fence, Wheat Seeds, Oak Boat, Raw Porkchop, Stick, Wooden Shovel, Wooden Hoe, Ladder, Wooden Axe, Wooden Sword, Stone Axe, Stone Pickaxe, Stone Hoe, Oak Stairs, String, Gold Ore, Iron Pickaxe, Milk Bucket, Bow, Iron Boots, Iron Leggings, Iron Chestplate, Iron Helmet, Block of Diamond, Book, Sugar Cane, Bookshelf, Stone Button, Stone, Oak Sign, Oak Pressure Plate, Oak Log, Painting, Paper, Brown Mushroom, Red Mushroom, Lever, Cactus, Redstone Torch, Wheat, White Wool, Bread, Bowl, Chest, Crafting Table, Golden Boots, Stone Pressure Plate, and the Jukebox (I accidentally put two ladders in the chest, this has since been fixed). I now have a total of 94 items, or 72% of Minecraft Alpha 1.0

Minecraft Food for Offerings
Much like food on the physical world, I'd imagine food in minecraft can be used as offerings for spirits or other entities you work with or want to say thanks to.
I think they're really cool ways to gives to entities and spirits and deities you work with.
Though since you're limited with what food you have in the game, you may not be able to accommodate specific preferences, but I think it's still nice as a possibility.
Plants and Vegetables
These are all mostly things you can grow from farms you built in your world. Some of these you do have to look for in other dimensions or deeper underground in the Overworld, but I think that makes it more special in a way.
• Apple
• Potato
• Beetroot
• Wheat
• Carrot
• Chorus Fruit
• Dried Kelp
• Glow Berries
• Melon Slice
• Sweet Berries
• Cocoa Beans
Mobs
These are all things you can get from passive mobs in the world. Some through killing them, and some from just being carefully taking a bottle or a bucket from them. I'd imagine you could put some of these on a campfire to cook, as if letting the smell of the smoke reach to the one you're offering them to.

• Mutton
• Porkchop
• Rabbit

• Honey Bottle

• Tropical Fish
• Milk Bucket
Crafting
These are all things to need to use your crafting menu or the bench to make. I'm not really a kitchen witch, but I'd like to think going the additional step to make these has a nice homey feel to it for whoever's receiving it.
