Question No 1: Aside for being a yandere, whats your dream job/profession?

❤️ Casanova: I wanted to be a chef for the longest time, but i’m happy with my job as an organ harvester!

🕊️ Krow: I-I actually like m-my job as a f-forensics cleaner but... I-I'd love to b-be a stay at home s-spouse a-and just do a-art.

🔪 Ezra: I actually really enjoy my current job. I've had it for going on... 7 years now? Almost 8. (Interviewer: Can we ask what your job is? No? Okay. *thumbs up* bish i value my life more)

🔥 Harper: Hmm, if I had to pick any kind of job, maybe a pyrotechnic?

💐 Keith: To become a plant biologist.

🖥️ Virgil: My dream profession is to be Game Developer, I enjoy video games and I have always wanted to make a game for others to enjoy, and so that’s why I’m taking classes of game development.

🎤 Adam: I already have my dream job. Although, I did often think about becoming a vet as a kid. Sometimes I wonder how life would've turned out had I pursued that career instead of singing.

🐕 Henry: The Princess Bride! That movie is practically about me + Buttercup.

Question No 8 : What are some habits you have? Any strange ones?

❤️ Casanova: I tend to scratch at my braces when i’m trying to focus, often i’d end up chewing on my fingers.

🕊️ Krow: Uhh.... I... bite my h-hands... a lot. It's... a comfort t-thing. S-sometimes my forearms too. I-I guess I also make the same expression a-as to what I'm d-drawing.

🔪 Ezra: When eating food like burgers or sandwiches I eat around the edge and then eat the center last. Um... I also tend to rub things with my fingertips when I don't know what to do with my hands. I'm almost always touching my nails absent-mindedly.

🔥 Harper: I have a habit of scratching my fingertips, especially when I’m nervous… Its kinda a bad habit, sometimes I scratch em a little raw.

💐 Keith: Buttoning and unbuttoning my shirt sleeve when Im bored or nervous.

🐕 Henry: Hmmm…I have really bad sleeping habits if I’m being honest! I’m lucky if I can get 3 hours of sleep at night. As for strange ones, nope, I’m perfectly normal! (now the interviewer is also shouting LIAR)

If you like... make something that you don't love and enjoy making people can tell. It doesn't come off as genuine and you'll burn out that way. Don't think about numbers or anything like that. Make stuff because it makes you happy. I make Restart Heart because I love my little passion project. I love it so much I get my nails done to match my game and spend most of the day thinking about it. I would still be making Restart Heart if no one played. Make something that you would want to make even if no one saw. Even if you were the only person in the world who loves it, make it because it brings you happiness. I guess all I can really say is that no matter how silly you think your idea is, there will be an audience for it! It can be scary to put yourself out there, but honestly, this community is so incredibly supportive + I’ve met some amazing people here! Also, I’d recommend keeping various docs about your project! It’s nice to have it all in one (or 3 + a google slides in my case) place so you can have a clear idea about your wip + its characters. Just a little self indulgent ramblings. I dont know if anyone already know about this game, but one of my moots recommended this, its DONT LOOK VN and I tell you, its so good. The story premise, the creepy atmosphere and the voice acting are all on point. They have on going Kickstarter and they only have 8 days left to reach the goal. Spidershade gets a stomach ache

Spidershade and Howlburr are in awe of Cinderstar’s leadership

Blair joins the Clan

He would never admit it to her, no, but Cinderstar suspected Spidershade’s nightmares were caused by her upset stomach, and not the other way around.

When he greeted Spidershade this morning outside her den, she complained of “visions” of a bloody battle at the Firetree, surely just a bad dream about the disaster that was last moon’s Gathering, and urged him to have that border checked as soon as possible. Cinderstar agreed, and even brought along his fiercest warrior to ease the old cat’s worries. It’s the least he could do as a leader.

Of course, he wasn’t expecting to see exactly what Spidershade described. 

Blood was splattered over the beachgrass, and a cream tabby cat he didn’t recognize was lying there on the sand, just outside the boundaries of their territory and on neutral land.

“Howlburr,” Cinderstar whispered into the mist, calling the grey tabby over for assistance. His warrior arrived silently, stepping out of the fog by his side.

“Ohh.” Howlburr said with interest, looking at the stranger. “What should we do about the loner? I don’t think he’d make it too far if we chased him off.”

He? The stranger definitely had a strange smell to Cinderstar, and he had actually assumed she was a molly, but now he wasn't so sure. And he couldn’t exactly ask a barely conscious cat to introduce themselves properly.  “Well there’s no point in that, I suppose, as they’re not actually on the territory. But, still, it would be troublesome to have a cat die near the Firetree.”

Cinderstar started approaching, and the cream cat began to stir, lifting their head. 

“Oh,” the strange cat mewled weakly. “You’re Cinderstar. Bleakpaw told me about you...”

Cinderstar stared down at the cat, his heart pounding. Bleakpaw had sent this cat then, right? But, Bleakpaw had said he was sending a tom and a molly together... And then it clicked. He never said he was sending more than one cat to him, right? Were they simply just a nonbinary, maybe bigender, cat sent to help him?

"Bleakpaw?" Howlburr meowed in confusion, "Who is Bleakpaw? A SnagClan apprentice?"

"We're taking them to Spidershade." Cinderstar said, leaning down to start moving the loner. "Howlburr, help me move them. Mind their wounds."

B-Blair is just a house cat with magic strong enough to turn in to a hot witch but still just a house cat at the end of the day

she still gets tied into the catgirl discussion for some reason. i will say she like, meows and kinda has the :3 face. still dislike her

Favorite Barbie film? Wait, I have to choose one of my babies??? Well 12 Dancing Princesses was my favorite growing up. Princess and the Pauper will always have a special place in my heart of course. I think Mermaid Tale is definitely up there, it’s really good, plus I just love mermaids! XD But recently my favorite is either Dolphin Magic or Rock n’ Royals, I keep rewatching them as comfort movies :) 

Favorite heroine/main character? More decisions?? I have anxiety, I can’t decide on things! XD But hm... I think surprisingly Alexa from Barbie and the Secret Door? I love so many of the Barbie characters but Alexa is just so relatable as an introvert who would rather just stay inside and read/write instead of dealing with being social! XD

Favorite Barbie film song? I mean, “To Be a Princess” (both from the original and from Princess and the Popstar) is always a classic--I mean, hell, all the songs from Princess and the Pauper are GOLD. “Life Is a Fairytale” from Fashion Fairytale is catchy as hell and will absolutely get stuck in my head for hours! “Gotta Get to Camp” and pretty much any song from Rock n’ Royals will always get me up and moving. Oh, and “What’s Gonna Happen” from Secret Door is probably why that movie is so high up on my list!

Favorite Barbie film dance scene? Anything from 12 Dancing Princesses but I love the fun camp aesthetic of “Got to Get to Camp”, gives me some very Camp Rock vibes which I love! :)

Favorite Barbie couple? I mean, to be fair I don’t think most of my ships are canon... ^^; Probably the closest thing I have is Ken and Barbie from the Dreamhouse Adventures series but technically they’re not a couple yet... Doesn’t mean I can’t dream! They just made Ken so damn adorable and likable--that man ain’t afraid to rock bright pink clothes and I RESPECT that! Plus he’s Barbie’s best friend first and they’re building up their relationship as solid bff’s before romance kinda starts happening which I am SOFT for. But in Dolphin Magic Barbie and Isla are clearly girlfriends by the end, so I’m down for a triad with all three of them :)

Favorite Barbie dress/outfit? ANY of the outfits from Swan Lake--regular gown and then the swan tutu, I DREAMED of having both of those outfits growing up! The peacock dress from Island Princess is a super close followup, though!

Favorite Barbie film male secondary/side character?  Ken from Dreamhouse Adventures, that boy has ALL my love! He’s also pretty great in Life in the Dreamhouse but I’m sorry, Dreamhouse Adventures made me fall in love with that boy <3

Favorite Barbie female secondary/side character? Isla from Dolphin Magic, Erika from Rock n’ Royals (c’mon, she is CLEARLY queer af, have you seen her amazing hair?!!!), and Skipper from Dreamhouse Adventures.

Favorite Barbie film villain? Oh man... I mean. Preminger from Princess and the Popstar is fantastic--other villains WISH they could be as over dramatic and unashamedly villainous as him XD And Duchess Rowena from Twelve Dancing Princesses rivals Mother Gothel, she is just so wonderfully HATEABLE, and she was straight up POISONING the king and she tried to frame his daughters, she is so EVIL and I LOVE her for that!

Favorite Barbie film animal sidekick? Unfortunately I’m not really a fan of the animals in the Barbie movies--sticking fake eyelashes and makeup on every animal just isn’t my thing :/ But probably Wolfie. I love that cat, especially because “The Cat’s Meow” is totally a trans coded song, I stan one trans cat king <3 

Favorite Barbie film non dance scene? Ahhhh!!!! So many good choices!!! I think any scene where a character gets to meet a family member they were separated from (Merlia and Ro getting to meet their moms, Annika meeting her sister, Brietta) is a really good scene :) Oh! Do you have any Barbie film ships? I will almost always ship Barbie with her female counterpart and that’s just a fact XD But I think we covered most of this in favorite couples :) OH! But I almost forgot! Frigging Mr. and Mrs. Roberts in Dreamhouse Adventures are GOALS. Like seriously probably the healthiest representation of a married couple I’ve seen in anything--and they’re not perfect, they’re super quirky and they have issues, but they still LOVE each other and COMMUNICATE and genuinely care about their kids and UGH, I could go ON for HOURS if I’m not stopped XD

Saddest Barbie film scene? Dang, I’m blanking on sad scenes but probably when Liana and Alex briefly break up in Diamond Castle. (C’mon, guys. We ALL know they’re totally a couple. They didn’t even try to hide it.)

Isla and Barbie reuniting :) But I actually really love the dancing scene with Derek and Genevieve in Twelve Dancing Princesses where they have to dance together to get out of the secret world! Oh! And (spoilers alert for anyone who hasn’t watched Princess Adventure yet!) when Ken asks Barbie to dance with him at the end--wasn’t the confession I was hoping for, but still cute!

Funniest Barbie film scene? Anytime Preminger screams is gold XD

Favorite Barbie film blooper? My favorites are TOTALLY from Princess and the Pauper :) Poor Serafina watching the dummy cat getting absolutely trashed and being terrified for her life? Julian busting a move in the middle of “To Be a Princess”? AMAZING. 

Favorite Barbie film world? Ahhhh!!!! They’re all so good!!! But any of them with canon mermaids is a world I’d be happy to visit XD

Chapter 3: "Lucid Dreams and Maka the Demon Magnet"

Their tender moment on the kitchen floor ended almost immediately after and Maka wiped away what tears she could with the base of one palm. She cradled Soul in the other arm, though his fuzzy tail brushed against her lap and the tile.

"Sorry, I guess I can get stupidly emotional sometimes," she said with the brightest smile she could muster, letting out what Soul considered to be one of the most pathetic attempts at a chuckle he's ever heard in his life.

'If that isn't the truth…'

Maka noticed the letter and reached over, plucking it up off of the floor to examine it, "How did this get on the floor?" Still focusing on the envelope, she stood up using solely the strength of her legs.

Soul watched her expression, one ear flicking to the side when he noticed it darken, 'Uh oh. Something bad, I'm guessing.' Strangely, he made no move to escape and allowed her to hold him without a fuss. Not that he could exactly do much with a broken leg along with his other injuries.

Heaving a sigh, she flung the envelope back on the counter, "I almost forgot about that. I need to pay it before they send it off to collections." She returned her attention to the cradled fox, moving her other arm to further support his weight, "Maybe after I get you healthy and back out into the wild, I'll look for some extra part-time work. I'll just have to learn to live with less sleep."

He tilted his head at her smile, wondering why the hell she was reacting that way to what was obviously a negative - and unhealthy - arrangement. This Maka girl continued to stump him, because he knew for a fact that he wouldn't be happy about being forced to sleep less.

He'd be pissed.

Suddenly, he found himself being set down on the counter adjacent to the stove - though at least a foot or so away from the prep work she had started. Maka had kept everything so nice and tidy, taking up a surprisingly small amount of space. Soul sat up awkwardly, his splinted leg sliding forward ever so slightly due to a diminished ability to grip surfaces with his paws. He looked up at Maka just in time to feel her ruffle the fur on top of his head fondly and blinked in confusion.

Maka seemed to realize her mistake right after he did and her mouth formed a small ‘o’ before she yanked her hand back, “Oh! Sorry! You probably don’t like to be touched unnecessarily. Also, it’s probably best I don’t since you’ll be returning to the wild eventually. Bad move, Maka.” She slumped a bit, her pigtails sliding over her shoulders and resting in front now.

It was almost as if she had the memory of a goldish, because a moment later, she lightly poked his nose with a smile, “Stay here and don’t move, okay? I’ll be right back.”

Soul stared after her as she walked away, disappearing down the hallway towards her bedroom. The white fox reached up with his working leg, pawing at the top of his head in contemplation. His thoughts trailed back to the strange incident earlier, trying to figure out exactly what was triggered. Echoes of memories? No images came to mind; just emotions and a female voice shouting “Tama”. The first impression he got from the word was that it was meant to be a name. Whose name, though?

Surely not his.

Movement by the window over the kitchen sink caught his eye and Soul shifted his gaze to look, freezing upon seeing the form of a black cat sitting on the windowsill outside. Blood-colored eyes met twinkling gold and after a few seconds of their impromptu staring contest, the cat seemed to smirk.

He did not like this feline one bit; it was cocky and it almost seemed to be mocking him. Cats were all assholes, undoubtedly, but this particular one had it out for him. There was no way this was a normal cat peering at him through the window.

No way.

As if to both torment him further and settle his suspicions, the cat stood and a second tail faded into view. The feline stuck out its tongue at him as if teasing, causing his fur to rise along the back of his neck and shoulders. He bared his teeth, ears pinning themselves back, 'Come at me, you cowardly feline! I know what you are!'

The cat just stared at him, clearly unamused and hardly intimidated. A sudden noise inside caused both the uninvited guest and Soul to snap their attention to the side as Maka returned, carrying some blankets. The fox demon immediately snapped his attention back to the window, eyes widening when there was no sign of the cat, 'What…? Where…?'

Maka set the blankets down on the edge of the counter, noticing Soul's confused look and also how abnormally fluffy he was, "Hm? Something wrong, little fox?" The girl followed his gaze to the window, lofting a brow upon seeing nothing. She opened her mouth to say something else when she heard a soft meowing before a small black cat appeared up in the window again, "Oh!"

Soul growled lowly, eyeing this creature with no small amount of distrust. She only had one tail now and rubbed up against the window, acting like the average cat. What was another demon doing here, of all places? What were her motives…?

So focused on his newly appointed enemy that he barely noticed Maka walk across the kitchen and slide the window open. Soul made the most pathetic scream of alarm, not unlike the one he made earlier when Maka startled him. However, this one held a different weight to it that made it seem more aggressive - which it was.

He wanted to shout at the clueless human girl, but screeched angrily at her instead, 'That's a DEMON you're letting in, you idiot! Do you just take in all the strays you come across?!' If it really came down to it, he’d lose the disguise if he had to defend himself and to hell with his injuries! Even in this state, he was recovered enough to take care of some small fry like this infernal cat.

Maka was startled and turned to face him, the black cat resting comfortably in her arms with beady little eyes watching Soul in amusement. "Do you not like cats? This cat is Blair and she's a stray… or was. She comes in sometimes, so it's okay!" Maka tried to explain, wondering why Soul's aggression returned in full force. Even before, he hadn't screeched like this and she was certain he was throwing whatever swear words at her a fox might have in their own language.

Blair tilted her head back, looking up at Maka and meowing loudly enough to catch the human’s attention. Maka lowered her gaze to the cat, casting a brief glance at the enraged fox before back down at Blair. She seemed to contemplate something before moving to exit the kitchen, scratching the cat’s head fondly, “I’m going to have to properly introduce you two later, I guess. In a room you go, for now. I’ll leave some nice food for you in there, okay?”

Soul continued to seethe as the two of them left, swearing that he caught another smirk from that wretched feline before they disappeared. ‘So… fucking… smug…!’ he snarled to himself, riled up beyond usual. Normally, he wouldn’t give the smallest shit about someone he considered weaker than himself giving him attitude; but this - THIS…!

THIS pissed him off!

And Maka wasn’t helping matters. How idiotic did she have to be to be inviting that demonic cretin into her living space? Did she not realize that she had not one, but now TWO youkai in her household?!

Despite his rage that was borderline stroke-inducing, some bit of reasoning managed to slip in and he relaxed ever-so-slightly. ‘Oh… right - she likely doesn’t realize we’re demonic entities. Stupid spiritually-blind human, afterall,’ he realized, though it did little to lessen his temper. He could hear Maka’s footsteps and chose to curl up on top of the blankets she had set down earlier, giving her the figurative cold shoulder.

Maka made several attempts to peer at his face, but Soul would promptly look away and adjust himself to be able to keep his back to her, tail curled around his body. Releasing a sigh, she washed her hands before returning to her prep work.

For the longest time, it was completely quiet outside of the sounds of her cooking. Soul’s head kept bobbing, eyes falling closed as he fought sleep. Apparently mending bones and tissue took a great deal out of him, in addition to all of the excitement he’s been victim to today.

Despite his valiant attempts at remaining conscious, exhaustion finally overcame him and his head finally plopped down onto the plush blankets. The sudden collision barely jostled him awake and he fully slipped away into dreamland.

[The fox youkai - now Tama - paused to shake out his fur, "That was quite the adventure. Who knew souls could be so tasty?" As if to further emphasize the newly-discovered fact, he ran his tongue along the tips of his sharp teeth before giving her a grin, "You should try it sometime, (faded)."

"Yeah, I think I shall pass on your offer," the girl in question replied, scrunching up her face at the thought of eating a soul. "You are the one that needs to be eating the souls. The more you absorb, the stronger you become, correct?"

Slightly miffed that she didn't play along with his joke, he tilted his head while looking up at her, "Well, that is the plan, anyway." He glanced back behind him, waving his one tail in the air, "Then I will have nine tails and be one of the most powerful familiars." A brief silence as he gave another experimental flick of his tail, "Think they will look amazing…?"

The young priestess turned to look at him, giving him her full attention. Seeing his genuinely curious expression, she smiled warmly, "Of course! Everyone will be jealous! You will be a respectable familiar and look like some mystical creature out of a fairy tale."

His ears and tail drooped a bit and he gave her a look that seemed to be a mixture of embarrassment and grumpiness, "I am fairly sure demons aren't in fairy tales, (faded). Horror stories, maybe."

She only smiled brighter, reaching over to ghost her fingers over one of his black-tipped ears, "Well, shows what you know. I am sure there is at least one; and if not - then we will just have to create a new fairy tale." Spinning on her heel, she started walking further up the stone walkway that led to their shrine, "The Tale of the Nine-tailed Fox and the Priestess. How does that sound?"

"Sounds redundant and obscenely long for a title," he grumbled, trotting after her.

Hardly discouraged by his pessimism, she looked up in thought, "The Tale of a Priestess and Fox?"

"Uh… no."

"The Tale of a Fox Familiar and his Priestess?"

"No. (Faded)-"

"The Tale of a Priestess and her Fox Familiar?"

His ears flattened against his skull, experiencing a mixture of frustration, annoyance, and something else he couldn't quite put a name to. Why the hell was she being so persistent about some idiotic fairy tale name? The kitsune stopped a yard or two away as she approached the temizuya and reached for the wooden ladle, beginning the process of cleansing, “It is not like someone would write a tale about us - or me in particular. While I am your familiar, I am still considered a demon, remember? No good stories or ‘fairy tales’ - as you put them - will come from our partnership. So, I am not sure why you are so determined to think of an ideal name for some impossible story that no one will scribe.”

The priestess did not even pause in her cleansing ritual, pouring water into her cupped left hand. She gingerly sipped it before allowing the 'contaminated' water to spill from her lips and onto the ground. After pouring the remaining water into the pool, she scooped up another full ladle before walking towards her familiar with a grace Tama found somewhat unbefitting of his new master. The blonde-haired woman proceeded to douse him evenly from nose to the tip of his tail with the water that they held sacred.

Oh, how he hated this ritual, despite not actually harmed from it. Being a familiar had its advantages after all, even with him technically being a demon. Her silence, however, kept him both on edge and confused. The kitsune lowered his head slightly, pointed ears flicked to the side as water dripped from the tips and created temporary stains on the ground. Once she had retreated a fair distance to return the ladle, he shook out his fur in an attempt to get rid of as much water as possible. Wet fur was among the top things he hated on his long list….

“You know,” she started, her back to him as her olive-green eyes focused on the rippling surface of the water. “Our partnership is very new and there are still a great many things uncertain. However, much like a seed of a plant, we have the opportunity to grow. A beautiful garden is never just one single flower, correct?” She turned to face him, offering the fox a smile that had the strangest calming effect, “We are still but seeds - buds, perhaps. With flowers, there are types that do not coexist favorably with one another. I want to believe that you and I are complementary to one another in this rather complex garden. Even if there are others who wish to damper our bloom, we will just have to stand strong. You and I will just have to be the most beautiful flowers in this vast garden, where each flower and weed is a person or familiar.”

His red eyes shifted to the side before the crunching of geta on soil drew his attention back to the human girl. The kitsune froze with her gentle hands sought to make contact with the sides of his jaw. She gently held his head in her palms, lightly coaxing him to look up at her and his red eyes widened ever-so-slightly seeing the softest smile on her lips. “Or we can just be two beautiful blooms on our own, subject to no garden and the whims of others,” the priestess said softly, lowering her head to press her forehead against his own. Almost instinctively, he closed his eyes and she did the same, allowing her fingers to lightly skirt across the fur of his jaw and just past his slanted eyes. “And if no one will write a fanciful tale of our adventures, then I will strive to write the tale myself. All I need to decide upon is the title….”

His priestess released her hold on him and a small part of him felt almost disappointed, watching as she moved past him to head towards shelter. Tama turned to face her, watching her closely before his vulpine lips twitched into some semblance of a smirk, “Oh, (faded), you are most certainly horrible with titles. Completely hopeless… so hopeless, that I simply must keep an eye on you and assist you in this impossible endeavor.”

“You are hardly kind, my dear fox,” she laughed, waiting for him to reach her side before they both made the remaining trek to their quarters. “I suppose we will have to sort this out together, too.”

“Together,” he echoed thoughtfully, humming quietly to himself. “Yes - together.”]

2021 =1st Rule of Fight Club

Oh. Hi. Its me. That spiritual blogger that gives you life advice and shit and drinks beer.  Tonight’s a little bit  more special. Do you know why?

I craved this bitch today. The Ice Cold Beery goodness just coating my throat with happy bubbles of really weak booze content.

Ladies, Gentlemen, Friends, Family and of course my whole 3 fans. I need to write more. It’s not even a want any more its a need.  Spewing  nonsensical things is fun, and therapeutic.  I think I will do themed weeks. Aw yeah, bring it we are are about to get so weird in here, you better bring your safe words.

So the Holidays happened. Good, Bad, indifferent they happened for all. I hope they were as wondrous as you reader!

What I can tell you in the last month after being Corntined for 2 weeks, not seeing my friends for months and doing the rinse, lather, repeat thing put me in a zombalicious mode. I think that funk is passing...Again, Key Stone you dirty sexy liar putting beer gogs on.

But no really. There are good things I want to throw at you:

1. Stop parent shaming one another. Everyone is going to do it different, and there is no right or wrong way to eat a Reeses. Remember that before you go judging Karen for coaxing her crying a kid with a toy. All young spawns of homo sapiens are different . They learn different, they like different things, and guess what? That’s okay. Lettuce try to just respect the differences, learn from one another and if there is a disagreement, of parenting styles, put yourself in a damn time out chair for a five, tequila  and some breathing skills.

2. Listen more. We are creatures of wanting to talk about ourselves and throw pieces of our life into the story to be involved, but right meow, plenty of people  need someone to just listen to them.

3. Hugs have healing powers.  Hippie dippity as it sounds, hugging the shit outta your loved ones ( or strangers...whatever you’re into) makes you just feel whole.

4. Cats have really funny butts when they they are shaved after getting fixed.

5. You can’t fix everything. 

6. My oldest seester is lucky she is so artistic, and beautiful because girlfran sucks at pool.

Okay friends, the eyeballs are getting froggy, and I want to play some Tony Hawk before I succumb to slumber.

can you "show and tell'' a li'l about your cats?

Gladly! I could talk about my boys for days!

This is Milo. He’s somewhere around 18 months old, and I adopted him from a lady who had rescued him as a tiny stray flea-ridden kitten. He is very small, and somehow simoultaneously very long. 100% diagnosed baby, despite being mildly destructive and insists on pushing everything off of every flat surface ever. He likes eating crisps, cardboard, seaweed, and my houseplants (which are all non-toxic!).

He carefully picks what toys he wants to play with out of his toy box, which is usually his bit of paper ribbon, pink pompom or his absolute favourite, this one:

He will drag this thing into whichever room I am in. When we go to bed, he will bring it up onto the bed before curling up next to me. He won’t go anywhere without it. He is also the most affectionate cuddle bug ever. Milo will mash his head against my mouth for kisses, throw himself at my feet for pets and has absolutely zero understanding of personal space!

Then there’s my homeboy Archie:

Archie unfortunately doesn’t live with me anymore (after an incident involving him attacking my pet snake Buttercup). Archie is 10 years old, has lived across 3 different counties and has fought and hunted his way through them all. Archie is an asshole who bullied every cat in the neighbourhood to the point we had complains from the neighbours. We found other cats collars on the roof. This fat ginger lump fought off foxes for fun, and had the neighbour’s giant Rottweiler trembling in his shadow. Every morning my patio looked like a scene from The Blair Witch Project, with the heads of mice laid out neatly next to their internal organs (which had been unnervingly and delicately removed from the missing bodies).

But, he’s starting to slow down. His reign of terror is easing up. He’s on a diet after being a little too curvy, and likes to spend his evenings curled up in front of the open fire at my parents’ house where he now lives. He’s secretly a snuggly boy, but only when no one’s looking he’ll come and request cuddles. He’s not interested in toys, except for the occasional elastic band (again, when no one’s looking), and this:

Now this bit of fleece on a stick has Archie acting like a kitten, dragging it off to sit with it and meowing at it. No idea why this toy in particular has him playing again, but it’s adorable as fuck.

This ended up being very long, but these are my boys and I love them both endlessly! Cheers anon x

The 3 story lines

I have been scripting out stories for years, but with no motive to actually write them. My very good friend told me to make them manga’s, comics, and I realized i would need an illustrator. I will describe all 3 stories and a character from each one. If you’re interested in starting a project with me, please comment, republish with your drawing, and like. 

1.) Storyline 1: The Core Spiritual Knights : This is the story about how the powerful knights of the spiritual realm were both founded and developed. It started in 1970 when America nuked Moskau Russia, so Russia launched all their nuclear bombs and blew up america. Hell and heaven spilled over and an all out war between humans, demons, and angels spilled out. In 2010, family members of a Russian family decided to drink blood of an Arch Angel. These 5 individuals became Titians of the new world and declared themselves the new world’s king’s (and Queen). The rest of the family, however, drank demon blood......except one. These members of the Thorn family became the first knights, protectors of the innocent. The person i’d like you to draw from this series is a man named Vlad Shadow X. Not a member of the Thorn family, but he’s a bit difficult to draw ( I believe ) do to his massive hair. 

X is the Core Spiritual Knight of death. Black, Porterican, 6.3 ft tall, brown (near Black) eyes. His hair is like shadow the hedge hogs. Long, tall, and pointed yet soft. All black. X is in the second stage of this story arch. If you want to draw a Thorn, then here.

Mathew General Thorn is the Core Spiritual Knight of strength and the one that didn’t drink demon blood. He kept pushing his body and grew to a monster size. General changes size and features from 1st stage to 2nd. The first stage, he’s 7.1 and 400 pounds of muscle. Brown hair, brown eye’s, white, Russian, and very ripped. 

Mathew General Thorn’s second stage is a lot different. 10.4 FT tall, 1.5 cubic tons. He is huge, yet his body is even between his body, arms, and legs. Thick brown beard, shaggy brown hair, brown eyes. 

2.) Elemental Kingdom’s: This is your Game of Thrown's style of writing. Elemental was the most beautiful place I ever dreamed of and the main story line focuses in the Ice Kingdom. Each Kingdom on this planet ( and Land) is about each element. The Ice Kingdom boarders between the Fire Kingdom and the Forest Kingdom. The main story line follows a Young Corey Frost, an orphan with a strange lineage who makes shelter in the Ice Kingdom’s town hall. Out of all Kingdoms, the Ice Kingdom wants to be a Democracy instead of a Monarchy. All Kingdom’s are demanding a King ( or Queen) and the leaders of the Ice King were running out of options till the young orphan fell through the roof into a tub of Ice Lava. When a baby is born in the Ice Kingdom, a drop of Ice Lava is dropped on the infant. The Lava fusses with the kid and allows the child to live in the Kingdom without hard. (The highest temperature of the kingdom is -24,000 degree’s F) The Kingdom’s capital is a bunch of dark wooden houses covered in soft snow. If anyone from another Kingdom wants to  become a citizen, all it takes is a drop. If their intentions of citizenship is pure, they won't shatter into a billion pieces. Back to Corey, he fell into a tub of the Ice Water and lived. The leaders made him “King” and ran the Kingdom with Corey being “King”. There’s a lot to this story. Corey becoming a true King, King’s going to “War”, and proves a powerful lesson about orphans. 

You can draw the Capital, or Corey himself. The Capital is full of wooden structures, parks, forget about the temperature and understand its a town of snow, ice, and crystal blue water. The entire town is surrounded by thick, snow covered tree’s and a wall of 50 FT thick diamond separating the Fire Kingdom and the Ice Kingdom. 

Corey Jack Frost is about 14 years old with small, light blue hair and white eyes. His body hair is thicker than normal and he’s white with frost all over it. His teeth are also abnormally sharp. 

3.) Scale: Scale is a Furry’s dream, no humans. 4 Kingdoms of this world of the dominate Scale species. Cats, Dinosaurs, Dragons, and sea life. It’s been 30 thousand years since fate called on 4 individuals to become rulers of their species, till now. Issac Rage Raptor one of the lucky few who gain his race’s ancient ability..... if only he knew how it worked and what it was. This story is a calm storyline with a steady build to it. The four Kingdoms must come together to stop the rise of their respected Anti Kingdoms. (The Kingdom of Gorilla, Snakes, birds, and the dark sea) ( The Snake Kingdom scares me the most, because its the villainous kingdom to the Dragon empire) 

Calling all furry illustrators as this story may call more many of you to help. Four character’s, draw whichever humanoid creature you want of the four. 

Blair Meow: The dragon queen. Im just kidding,  cat humanoid, purple hair, green eyes, with purple fur. She’s 5.8, long tail, and very kind in nature. The cat queen harnesses the healing powers of blue fire. 

Issac Raptor: The Dino King, of course he’s a raptor. 6FT, dark yellow skin with a green stripe going from the top of his head down his back and tail. His eye’s are green, however, they get darker the more angry he becomes. His personality is happy and cheerful, despite him being able to harness the Speed powers from Green Fire. 

Frank Rainbow: King of the dragons: A dark blue dragon figure that’s about 5.6 Ft tall. Frank is very serious and gets angered very easily despite him being able to harness the power of strength from Black Fire. Frank also has dark rainbow colored hair and blue eyes. 

Swinny Finnel: The sea Queen and half human half squid. No hair, blue scaly skin, and red eyes. Swinny is very arrogant and believes she's always right. She can harness the power of super intelligence from Red Fire. She’s 6.7 Ft tall as well. 

Each fire is unique to its own kingdom, yet only the royal is able to harness its power.

People come to New Orleans to have fun and get relief from the stress. It's one of the most popular spots in the US that is frequently visited by the people from all parts of the US and the whole world. The New Orleans Saturday night is also quite famous.

You can be totally cool with long periods which don’t involve seeing your closest loved ones, because you once survived a plane crash on a mysterious desert island inhabited by a smoke monster.

No. That was definitely the show Lost. Turns out you don’t know how to do any of that. No one prepares you for it when you enter a long-term relationship. You’re so used to being with someone that the sudden absence of their major and cherished presence is disorienting. I envy people who can look at that sudden vacancy without having a panic attack. Before the loneliness freakout sets in, I try to set myself up with goals that give me something to do so I don’t stew in my boredom. I need to know there’s something on the horizon that’s gotta get done. It’s not about occupying a week’s time. If it was that simple, I’d just watch the Lord Of The Rings special edition Blu-rays once. It’s about goals. If I set out to accomplish a set of specific goals throughout the week, I’m much more likely to not go stir-crazy.

I have a small chalkboard on which I write my list of goals. If I ever feel like I don’t know what to do with myself, I do something from the list. At the same time, I have a daily to-do list which covers the details that build up to the accomplishment of the larger stuff on the chalkboard list. Sometimes I’ll even make nano to-do lists on my phone which further break down the steps I need to take to accomplish things on the daily list. If I could pay my neighbors to scream “MAYBE TRY OUT A NEW RECIPE!” at me every hour on the hour, I would.

My definition of a goal is maybe a little too wide. Reading a book cover to cover usually makes the list. It’s a noble and enriching activity that has never been scratched off once. The ones that do are usually the sad ones, like the time the top goal of the week was “Go outside,” with a little drawing of a thermometer next to it. I’d celebrate each outing (walking the dog and getting burritos didn’t count) by filling a fifth of the thermometer with red, on up ’til the red thermometer juice (lava?) sprayed victoriously from the top.

Trying to replace my wife with a lot of menial accomplishments isn’t as rewarding as you’d think. But accomplishing so little can be exhausting, which is why it’s nice to work in some well-deserved relaxation …

Being Physically Unable To Relax

You’d think that with no one around, it’d be easy to finally get in some of that good no-pants-and-kind-of-drunk relaxation you’ve been craving. It’s just you and whatever you do that pulls you out of the world and makes you melt into the couch. Be around someone long enough, and you’ll find that it’s next to impossible to feel calm unless you lower the standard to pacing while cranking up the playback speed to see if you can speed-read an audiobook. The side effects of missing the company of someone you love sound like being on meth.

My brain’s natural reaction to boredom is to kill it; no remorse, no survivors. So it releases an elite squad of soldier brain cells to end my boredom’s reign once and for all. They have the discretion of an atom bomb. Where light reading or watching a couple episodes of a show might do the trick, the squad suggests weird shit like trying to bounce a racket ball from hand to hand for as long as I can while listening to an ’80s hair metal playlist at 2 a.m. This is where I remind you that this part of the column is about relaxing. One day soon, the squad will go AWOL and live off the grid and suggest I prepare for bed by wingsuiting through a canyon.

Then there are times when I’m on the cusp of relaxation, and it’s interrupted by a sudden deep fascination with whatever lulled me. One night, when I was already tucked into bed, wearing my jammies and my long sleeping cap with the fuzzy ball at the end, I was flicking through whatever YouTube’s recommendation algorithm spat at me. Suddenly, like an 18-wheeler into my REM cycle, it gave me a whole list of ESPN’s 30 for 30 shorts. Seconds before sleep, I fucked up and clicked on The Bad Boy Of Bowling, a shockingly compelling documentary about an all-time great pro bowler who doesn’t play by your tight-assed rules of decorum. And then a short about the history of the most despised mascot in all of baseball autoplayed right after. And then one on the history of the high five in professional spo- WHAT THE FUCK HOW IS IT DAWN.

Once video becomes the crutch, things start to go downhill pretty fast, in the most boring way possible.

Having No Hobby, I Watch Videos Of People With Hobbies

Around the time that you’re making a strikingly lifelike facsimile of your spouse out of pillows so you can have someone to gab with as you binge Gilmore Girls, you’ll realize you should have developed a hobby. And not just a “see how many marshmallows you can fit in your mouth”-type hobby or a “see if I can meow in a way that the cat thinks that there’s another cat in the house”-type hobby, but a hobby that demands solid crafting skills, attention to detail, and hours of undivided focus.

In a committed long-term relationship, it’s nice to have separate hobbies that you can retreat to as a small escape from the world and the relationship itself. A drop of selfishness goes a long way. That’s why my wife is into embroidery, while I do absolutely nothing constructive with my free time. It’s really only when she leaves that not having taken up a hobby becomes a problem. I have nothing that lets me devote the kind of singularly focused attention only the manual labor of a creative hobby can draw out.

So I end up watching tons of videos of people who do, like of this guy who makes amazing scenic dioramas.

Or this guy who has over 40 videos in which he makes beautiful Japanese wood joints and nothing else. No larger project to attach it to. Just one video after another of a guy so good at what he does that he can make hypnotic videos about corners.

Just hours and hours, deep into the night, of nothing but people way more talented than I am creating incredible works of art that will slowly grow a jealousy within me that will fester until I watch an “Epic Fails” compilation of people stumbling a little, just so I can take the edge off. They have a hobby that’s almost meditative, and I hate them for it. Yet it’s the only thing that comes close to easing the anxiety of suddenly being thrust back into living alone. But I’ll take whatever distraction I can get, because after a couple nights alone …

Childhood Fears Of Monsters Return With A Vengeance

With another person, any noise in the house is easily ignorable. It’s just the building settling after a long hot day. Remove a person, and that sound means the house’s demon is telling you to get out. Without realizing it, all this time together turns your significant other into a security blanket that wards off all irrational supernatural evils. You know there’s no one else around, so any errant noise must not only be someone else, but a something else.

I hit the point when I should start calling friends to hang out when I’m following noises around the house hoping it’s just my cat fucking around with the drapes again and not, ya know, the face of Linda Blair from The Exorcist. (Specifically in the picture of her in full makeup that was above the actual contact lenses she wore in the movie that were on display in the Planet Hollywood I ate at once as a kid. I sat facing the wall that fucked-up face was on. It burned into my retinas and sometimes makes a guest appearance on Night Four of my descent into spouselessness-induced madness.)

Marriage bestowed me with a bravery I never previously had. Almost nothing’s scary when you’re in this together. The furry monster with razor-sharp claws that stalks the living room at night is going to have to get through both of us. Sure, my wife would be functionally useless in a real furry-monster-in-the-living-room attack, but the power of our love fills me with a certainty that lets me know it’s going to be okay, because while it’s closing in on her, I can be somewhere else making a break for it. Can’t feel that confidence in my escape if she’s not there.

All Of Your Dietary Constraints Go Out The Door

A good partner is a moderating influence. They’ll let you get away with an extra slice of cake now and again, but they’ll stop you from trying to swallow the whole thing in one gulp like it’s an Advil. As much as we’d all like to believe we’re an island (even one with smoke monsters), we are social creatures. We need human contact. Remove the primary source of contact, and it’s only a matter of time before you’re trying to fill the void of the other person with a vice, like food, as if calories and a carbs are a suitable replacement for love when all they usually deliver is loose stools.

Without someone to keep me in check, I end up falling into a pit of indulgence that ends up eating at me. I do all the cooking in our home. I make sure we eat sensibly. I love my wife and want to protect her, even from foods that could do her harm in the long run. I don’t want her heart to explode in 30 years, and as she’s clutching my neck she whispers with her final breath that it was my twice-weekly bacon, guava, and brie grilled cheeses that did this. I did this, with the destruction power of my BGB sandwiches.

Me without my wife plus about four days equals driving out of the Taco Bell drive thru and deciding that the only thing that can wash down these two Quesoridos is a 12-inch Italian sub. When I have no one else to elevate my self-respect game, my weaknesses shine. If I’m only responsible for my heath, things are going to get gross. Including more feels like manslaughter, and explaining the aftermath feels like a crime scene.

When my wife gets back, everything adjusts back to normal. This happens every time she leaves. If I’m an inflatable wacky arm tube guy at a car dealership, then she’s the power plug that blows air up my ass to make me dance. Take it out and I fall into a sack of my own skin.
