If it’s so easy for us to believe in the “universe” why is it so hard to believe in God? If we can easily personify the universe by believing that it speaks to us, guides us, and determines our fate, why do you we have such a hard time believing that there is an intimate God who created all things, a God who speaks to us, a God who desires to know us, a God who loves us, and a God who holds our very lives in the palm of His hand? How is it that we can be so quick to give glory to the creation and not to the Creator Himself? Why is it so hard for us to simply believe?

Can we just appreciate that even when our faith is faltering, Jesus stays by our side!

In Matthew 14, we read about how much courage Peter had to step out of the boat onto the water, and he was able to walk because of his faith.

“Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!”

Peter got scared because he lost faith in Jesus. However, when he cries to Him for help, Jesus immediately catches him.

Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?”

Takeaway: Jesus is not going to abandon us when we sometimes feel like our faith is faltering. It’s normal to have highs and lows of faith, but remain steadfast.

GOD WHO SAVES Psalm 3:8

We knew how Absalom's rebellion against David ended . lt ended in victory for David. As a father, David was so heart broken for his son's action. He did everything to keep Absalom away from a violent end.. However, when the Lord arises to fight on behalf of His people, any one in enemy position suffers. Not only was Absalom defeated, all those who joined his cause ended up very badly.

David experienced God's victory in the end. He declared God's control over the situation and recieved the result of his faith. Although people were saying that God had forsaken him, David ended up the winner. The psalm end's with two affirmations.

* Salvation belongs to the Lord.

God determines the outcomes. ln the end. it was not about who was better armed or who has more people. Those were not the final determinants of how David's battle with Absalom turned out. God was the final determinant. No matter what people may say about you or what they come against you with, hold your peace, Be rest assured that God is the final determinant of the out comes of your life.

* God's blessing is on His people.

God is committed to his people. He upholds their cause and blesses them with victory in battle. When people plot evil against His people, they can't win. They may seem to succeed in their crooked agenda's, but it's only for a moment. lt eventually comes to naught. lf you've God's child and are walking with Him in righteousness, know that His blessings rests on you. He will fight for you and deliver you from every evil plot.

The psalm concludes with the final ' selah' lt shows that wheb God gives us victory at the end, we also experience His peace and rest. When people ser themselves against you, selah, be at peace, when you call out to God and He hears your cry, hold your peace. And when God manifests His worj of deliverance, heave a sign of relief and thanksgiving, and enjoy His peace.

May the Lord satisfy you with His peace, may He strengtheb you through your battles and give you rest. May the Lord fight for you.

Ephesians 4:31-32

Heavenly Father, forgive us for any bitterness we have harbored in our hearts against You or others. Thank you for forgiving us by grace through faith in Christ. Help us to live life as for Him. Help us to be slow to anger, quick to forgive and enjoy steadfast love, kindness, compassion, forgiveness and grace. To the glory of Christ, in Whose Name I pray. Amen 🙏

Be Lord with my girlfriend and all those who face similar circles in their lives. Lord, it seems that so many people are in bad health and I just ask that you visit all of us in this sickness, extend your healing hand over all of our lives and bring us back to health. Be my girlfriend, Lord, and all those who have similar problems in their lives. Please visit us all in this sickness, extend your healing hand to each of our lives and restore us to health. Amen 🙏
