here u guys go: an ash + doe foal, as a treat (as well as a cuddle doodle closeup)

he isnt (and will never be) canon! just want to make that clear. this is due to both personal preference as well as biological setbacks! hes cute tho. its fun to think of what would happen if they got together and had a foal :,)

im curious as to how other people would interpret them having a kid 👀 since equidan and unicorns are equal in recessiveness, it's a 50/50 gamble what species their kid would be

(btw: this was inspired by @aerialaim 's hypothetical kid post! it was very cute, their kid is so cute)

Got a little bit of drabble here having to do with Arjun’s favorite gun (and my favorite too, but can you blame me) the Sunshot. Enjoy.

The Red War didn’t leave me with much. Not even Light- I had to get that back. It took everything I had left. But it gave me one thing, and that thing was the Sunshot. It’s a heavy hitting hand cannon that was infused with the solar element, and is a killer when used in a large group of Thralls or Dregs or really anything small.

When I first got it from Asher Mir on Io, I didn’t think of it much. It was either that or two other exotics, and this one was the only solar one, so I picked it. It was just another exotic to add to my collection. After the first time I used it, even then I still wasn’t a huge fan. But it dealt damage, so I continued to use it. But this one time- this one time experience I had was what really made me stick to it and consider it my favorite.

I was stuck in a cave full of Hive, with wizards and knights overwhelming me. Thralls ran at me in waves, and I ended up being knocked on the ground by a bunch of them. They scratched and clawed, but I shot the one directly on top of me in the head, and it blew up. And it caused a chain reaction, each and every single Hive warrior exploded in fiery lights and sparks, and not bits remained save for some pieces of scorched chitin.

From then on I always used it- always had it on me. And it grew on me more and more as I got reacquainted with my subclass, Dawnblade. It’s made me a bit of an expert when it comes to getting headshots with a hand cannon. Now I don’t do anything without it. If I'm going somewhere, I automatically have it tucked away, stuck on my back and ready to be pulled out and fired. It looked a lot prettier when I first got it, but it's gotten rougher with age and use. It began to collect grime, and I had to tinker with it a bit to keep it in working condition. If anything, it works better now. It just looks as though there are chunks of magma-made obsidian and rock stuck to the barrel. Not like that’s too much of an issue- the heat expels through the igneous stone surprisingly well.

I wouldn’t trade the Sunshot for anything- unless they somehow made another weapon that has the same chain-reaction effect without being so clunky. But I doubt that’ll ever happen. Sunshot is one of a kind. A Sunbreaker forged it, and with good taste too. I honor that woman, even if I don’t know her. Her name is Liu Feng- or was- I’m honestly not sure if she’s still around or not. I hope she is though. I’d like to meet her one day.

But since the war, that’s been my only constant. The Sunshot. And the Vanguard, of course. They’ve all been around longer, and it’s nice to have people to hold onto as constants within life, but it's nice having a weapon as a constant too. It feels more permanent. Less breakable, and more fixable if broken.

Post 300, and happy blog-iversary!

This year has been awesome, and running this blog has been my most favorite thing to do. Whether I'm writing, drawing, character developing and designing, or just getting into some shenanigans, it's always a good time over here. I've met so many new friends, and am so grateful to be in the position I am. I love that I can tell my story here, and am looking forward to the future of this blog.
