I just. am a little floored by the way Andor is raising the stakes of the original trilogy far beyond "skywalker family squabbles."

Yes, the heart of the saga will always be Anakin's struggle, but seeing all these people who fought and died to build the rebellion and fight for the future Luke and Leia realized just adds more weight to everything. And I'm glad it was given the freedom to explore these serious, more harrowing sides of the rebellion that the "oh its a goofy kids movie" vibe of the OT never allowed for.
