^In Order: Wikie, Koāpei, Abdello, and Kincci

• They’d be Deadfire companions (Wikie and Abdello would make an appearance in PoE, I think..Wikie could probably also be a companion in PoE - she’d probably foil with my other OC - Aulora), with their continued recruitment being based on what faction the Watcher sides with (Wikie for Royal Deadfire Company, Koāpei for Huana, Abdello [/w Kincci] for Vailian Republics).

•Wikie Pua: Coastal Aumaua Cis♀, 21 -> 26 y.o., 6'2". Cleric Class [Priest of Magran / Tactician Fighter]. A farmhand turned scholar under a Magranite scholarship at Rauatai’s University, where she studied warfare. She turned out to be a prodigy, quickly surpassing her professors, and decided to get first hand experience by joining the royal Deadfire Company as a cleric. Soon, however, her skills got her transferred under Atsura’s wing, where she was sent n a reconnaissance mission during the rise of the Watcher. Companion in both; Royal Deadfire Aligned in PoE:2.

•Koāpei: Island Aumaua Cis♀, 15 y.o., 5'10"... and growing!! Tempest class [Furyshaper Barbarian / Fury Druid (Storm Blight Spirit Shift)]. A disciple of Toamaowhai, raised in a community honoring the Kazuwari Island Trials. She’s young and eager to prove her ability. First, by dealing with the problems around Kazuwari herself, Watcher be damned. Then, she’s getting Rauatai and the Vailian Republics out of the Deadfire, even if she’s gotta’ train Ngati’s chosen herself, to get him moving on his destiny!! Companion, Huana Aligned.

•Abdello Vescovi: Ocean Folk Cis♂, 68 -> 73 y.o., 6'0". Shepherd class [Darcozzi Paladin / Ghost Heart Ranger]. A Former Frermàs mes Canc Suolias paladin, from a prestigious family with lineage back in Old Vailia. Often trained new recruits. He was honorably retired shortly after helping to finalize colonization of the Deadfire for the Vailian Republics, but ended up joining the Darcozzi Paladin Order when he had trouble settling down into retirement. Has lots of advice and anecdotes of his youth spent with his long-deceased lion companion, Kincci [“Kin-Chi”, ♀]. Not a Companion until PoE: 2; Vailian Republics Aligned.

Game designers have denied me impractically sexy men's armour for too long, so I shall have it in real life instead.

I've finished a couple of maille commissions recently.

This one's a long-legged brayette, all riveted, made from 7mm links. It is designed to extend just below the knee, and so includes a lozenge-shaped gore near the end of each leg.

And here, another standard. Mixed solid/riveted with a 9mm dagged mantle and 6mm collar. The liner is five layers of linen.

Overall, I'm pretty pleased with my progress, and both of these clients seem pretty happy with their commissions!

12th-13th century mail styles for historical or fantasy settings (The Palladium Book of Weapons and Armour by Matthew Balent, with armor illustrations by Mary Walsh and Kevin Siembieda, Palladium Books, 1981) This 50-page comic-sized publication gave a brief introductory summary of armor and weapon types through history and across different cultures, with a bibliography for further study, useful enough for the $4.95 cover price.
