I honestly don't know how to feel about the ending. This whole season was so confusing...
Let's talk about the Ana/Mariana story first. Am I happy with the Ending? YES
Am I satisfied? Not even close.. What happened to Mariana's journey through the whole season? Where's that fire that we saw at the end of s2? Why did we get so much time of other couples including that bullshit dog scene with JC instead of more Maryana screen time?!
Also...
*rant* Why the hell do straight people kiss like that?! This is not how people kiss, for God's sake, please open your mouths! And I definitely missed a good realistic kiss at the end... All this head touching sent me back to the Otalia days..
And why do they only get to kiss when they're drunk?! *ends rant*
I enjoyed the rest of the characters, way more than in past seasons, but I think they gave WAY too much time to JC and his "bachelor" adventures.. And WAY too much Ceci/Ro/Ana's father storylines.. That didn't end up anywhere.
I can't complain, they're together, it's Canon, I didn't think there'd be a series that actually ended how I wanted to but left me wanting for more... I haven't decided yet if I liked it.

It's been a long time but a lot of s1 was about Mariana's journey to motherhood and the development of her feelings for Ana and towards meaningful work/purpose.
S2 was mostly boring app stuff if I recall correctly. Most of what I remember was delight at the last few minutes, realizing it was a fake dating setup.
S3 was most profoundly about Ana's journey to find herself outside of work and the development of her feelings for Mariana, and about the necessity of extended/found family/community.
I wish s2 could be deleted except for the most salient plot points so what we're left with are s1 and s3, and then we could have a different/additional third season about Ana and Mariana actually being on the same wavelength and being reciprocal with each other, because I longed to see Mariana not just happy with Ana again, but willing to trust her s1-era desires again.
I enjoyed s3 more than a lot of the fan base did, I think, because it was flirty and about the whole family and it packed so much amusing drama in and that's a lot of the point, I think? But s1 and s3 both contained nuances that I wish were explored just a little more deeply this season, and with a little bit more willingness to let the chemistry flow both ways.

SPOILERS Rewatching trying to find any ‘signs’ of Mariana’s feelings. Way too subtle and far in between
So I have been on the lookout for anything to validate the subpar “I love you too” Mariana tossed at Ana in the finale.
I think they tried to give us an in-denial-affraid-she’ll-get-rejected-by-Ana-again-and-get-her-heart-broken Mariana this season, and that’s why she focused so heavily on her relationship with Ferran - because she was sure of his feelings for her and he was the safe option.
The only official indication we have of Mariana’s feelings is her talk with Elena after she slept with Ana regarding her feelings for Ferran. Elena says something along the lines of “I hope you are not trying to convince yourself instead of me.”
Some I might be reaching for but I think were also useless clues:
-Maybe Mariana pulling away from Ana’s touch so painfully obvious in front of the investors after their business trip.
-Mariana immediately texting Ferran after Ana suggested they had the talk over dinner, just the two of them. Looking for pretexts for not showing up.
-Mariana also the day after pushing the talk back after Ana told her they could sit down with the kids that night, saying she’d would be having dinner with her mom (knowing she had already agreed to have dinner with Ferran) so kinda using her encounters with Ferran as a pretext to not have the convo.
But still, that’s reaching.
They screwed up by not giving us Mariana’s perspective of things and journey regarding her supposed feelings for Ana...
Sigh...
