Rereading loveless and that book makes me feel so seen. Not just because it's about an aroace character and that is super rare to begin with. But also Georgia's whole uni experience, feeling isolated by drinking and clubbing culture and realising that even making friends is hard.
All the little moments that speak to her view on the world and experiences being different from everybody elses. I'm 22 and I still find it crazy that pretty much everyone else not only kissed someone and also had sex. And girl, I too, do not understand why people would kiss some random person at party. Not because it's bad, please have fun, and give me the tea. But it's just so alien to me.
Just, once again. I love this books. More rambles will follow

This may be an unpopular opinion but I think Ginny is so over-hated and all her feelings are completely valid. I think people tend to forget that she's a literal teenager dealing with some heavy shit. Yeah, she's insufferable sometimes but weren't most of us as teenagers. I literally look back to some moments and cringe bc of the way I've acted out or given attitude for no good reason.
Also, like we know Georgia's backstory and how she went through some terrible shit and has her own traumas, hence why it's so easy for us as an audience to side with her and feel sorry for her but Ginny doesn't know everything and even then, sometimes you can understand why someone would do something but still feel some sort of way about it. Don't get me wrong, I love both characters and I think that the writers have actually done well at writing complex characters and despite the teenagers being cringe af, I like that they can be actual teenagers instead of being "mature" and oversexualised.
