I got tickets for October 26th!!!

So, there's that theory that SOMETHING happened in 1941. Something that caused Crowley and Aziraphale to be awkward to each other in the 60s and make Aziraphale say:

What if in 1941, when they're in the bookshop after The Bullet Catch and after their little talk we seen in S2, Crowley asks Aziraphale to run away with him to Alpha Centauri for the first time????

Crowley may of suggest they run away together so they don't have another close call. Next time someone more competent than Furfur may show up or someone from Heaven might catch them.

At this point in their story, Aziraphale would not be down to run away and abandoned The Bookshop and his Angelic duties. They'd probably end up fighting and Crowley would storm off and then they'd barley talk.

Hence, why they're so awkward in the Holy Water hand off

It also explains Aziraphale's reaction to the other times Crowley asks to run away together.

In S1, at the band stand, Crowley mentions going off together. To me Aziraphale's first reaction always seemed weird to me, but not if he's heard this before.

It could also explain why Crowley was so quick to apologize to Aziraphale after the fight. Last time this happened they didn't talk for years and being on a tight deadline, Crowley apologize immediately to get Aziraphale to run away

And in S2, when Crowley brings up Alpha Centauri, I think Aziraphale probably would consider going off together at that point.

Because, being asked to 'go off together' by the demon you JUST realized you're in love with, would be to fast for Aziraphale. It's why when they talk in the 60s, Aziraphale suggests:

Aziraphale is literally saying "Maybe take me to dinner first before asking me to run away with you" !!!!

And they were probably "dating" after S1, so Aziraphale would be more willing to accept Crowley's offer at tge end of S2 if The Metaron hadn't offered him the Archangel position. Hell, Aziraphale kinda flips the script and asks Crowley to go off with him, but to Heaven.

I'm pretty sure we'll get another 1941 flashback in S3 and I hope I'm right. Thoughts???

I can't remember if Neil Gaiman said this or it was a fever dream.

S1 takes place in Summer

S2 takes place in Fall

So....

S3 will be in winter? and I assume end with Spring in the South Downs Cottage.

What if for S3 the 2nd coming takes place on Christmas? I mean, that when Jesus showed up the first time (allegedly).

All I can think of is everyone being happy and festive, and then poor Crowley just sitting alone in the Bentley on Christmas... Then all Hell breaks loose when Jesus shows up on his birthday!

And Aziraphale will show up begging for Crowley's help, and be all "You have to help me Crowley! It's Christmas!"

And then they'll go save the day!

My new favorite way to describe these beautifully aged men

I just found out that Good Omens was possibly going to be a film back in 1992, and because I think I was INEFFABLE for Michael and David to play Aziraphale and Crowley.

Imagine them in there early 20s and it being their breakout roles.

BUT.

In the end. I'm very grateful we got our Angel and Demon with their beautiful forehead wrinkles, crow's feet and laugh lines. I love these men and their aged faces.

S2 Aziraphale was excited to investigate his Clue to slove the Gabriel mystery.

Now for S3, He'll probably be doing both. Pretend to help Heaven with the 2nd coming, investigate more Clues to try and change Heaven.

Unfortunately, in both S1 and S2, he needed Crowley.

Crowley saved him from the Nazis by blowing up the church,

and Crowley broke into Heaven to get answers about Gabriel.

Even tho Aziraphale is clever and very capable. He NEEDS Crowley's help. He can't stop the 2nd coming without Crowley. They're a group, a duo, partners. They need each other.

Aziraphale was SO HAPPY when he thought he'd helped catch a bunch of Nazi spies. Truly living his best life playing detective as per usual.

I've started re-watching Doctor Who, so of course I automatically think about who is Crowley and Aziraphale's fav Doctor.

Az: Crowley? Have you even seen Doctor who?

Note

Aziraphale chooses his body unlike you. I'm not sure why he'd be self conscious of his weight since that's a human concept, and a relatively new one at that.

Did he choose it? Or was it just issued to him by Heaven?

Also, Aziraphale feels other human things: hunger, pride, love, why not self conscious? He does want to be seen in certain ways (he does have standards)

Either way, I love Aziraphale and everything about him ❤
