"INDUSTRIAL SCHOOL. HAD SUCCESSFUL YEAR," Toronto Star. June 10, 1912. Page 15. ---- Chief Inspector Hughes Spoke in Favor of Superintendent Ferrier. ----- OFFICERS WERE ELECTED ---- Heredity and Environment the Cause of Ninety-Five Per Cent. of the Cases. ---- Supt. Ferrier, of the Victoria Industrial School, was warmly championed by Chief Inspector Archibald, of the Police Department, at the annual meeting of the Industrial School Association on Saturday afternoon. Referring to the investigation of the ill-treatment charges laid against Mr. Ferrier and the adverse criticism of his methods of maintaining discipline in the school, the chief inspector said:
"There is not a man in Ontario better fitted for the position of superintendent of the Victoria School than Mr. Ferrier. I challenge any man in the Province to put his finger on any act in the past twenty years. during the time I have known Mr. Ferrier, of which he or his friends need be ashamed."
Inspector Archibald congratulated the chairman of the association on his refusal to "sidetrack" Superintendent Ferrier because of some adverse criticism. An attempt had been made "by some small, adverse creatures to criticize the noble work done by Mr. Ferrier."
The stamp of approval was placed on Inspector Archibald's praise of Superintendent Ferrier by the hearty applause from the majority of those present.
The cause of trouble at the school, Inspector Archibald declared, was the change made by the Government of Ontario when the maximum age for boys at the Victoria School was raised from fourteen years to sixteen in order that boys might be transferred from the closed-up reformatory at Penetanguishene to the Victoria School.
Praised By Another. Mr Wilson Fenton also spoke briefly in praise of Mr. Ferrier. "Critics are often not well informed," said Chairman Fergusson in touching on the trouble at the school. Encouraging reports were presented at the meeting, which was held the grounds of the Alexandra School for Girls, off the Kingston road. Superintendent Ferrier's report stated that during the year 170 boys had been admitted, 150 handled or transferred; highest attendance 325, average attendance 300. Boys on parole still under the guardianship of the school numbered 480.
Miss Brooking, superintendent of the Alexandra School, stated in her report that on May 1st there were 105 girls in the school, 50 had been admitted during the year, and the average age was fourteen and a half years in most cases, two or three years too late for the best results. Seventy-eight girls had been paroled. The superintendent referred to the splendid work done by Miss MacCowan in her teaching of eighty girls, whose equipment ranged from absolute illiteracy up to entrance standing. They had to be handled in the one class and under the greatest difficulty, nevertheless five out of seven pupils passed the entrance last June, and similar success was expected this year. Five of the older girls had also been given a business course under Miss Gray.
Music Students Did Well. The classes in music Miss Brooking said, had been most successful. Attendance at them was a privilege to be secured only as a reward of merit and very seldom did a girl lose her place after she had once secured it. Laundry work, housemaid's work, dining room work, kitchen work. and sewing were also taught, though the management is much hampered by lack of room, the laundry built for 45 row accommodating 125.
In closing, the superintendent said: "Speaking roundly, 35 of our cases were the result of gross neglect, and 15 of evil companionship, in many cases following bad heredity. Evil heredity and often worst environment are responsible for ninety per cent of our cases - and fully sixty-five per cent have had absolutely no fighting chance. And this is what the Alexandra Industrial School exists for - to give, if it may be, to these young human creatures, upon whom is thrust the terrible responsibility of life, a decent fighting chance, to implant sweetness and light. and the beauty of holiness in these young lives, which are or have been barren of every influence, but that which is evil, never forgetting that, in the mud and scum of things, there, always, always, something sings, and that it is ours to find that 'something." and set it free, and develop it, till at last it becomes something fit to grace the garden of the Lord."
The Officers Elected. The election of officers and directors of the Industrial School Association was announced as follows: Mr. G. Tower Fergusson, chairman; Mr. Beverly Jones, treasurer: Mr. W. J. Hendry, secretary; Mrs. Robert Kilgour, directress of the Alexandra School: Directors. Messrs. W. G. Jaffray, F. J. Stewart, D. J. McKinnon. Wm. Houston, W. Foster, J. J. Eaton. Mrs. Sandford Alley. Dr. Skinner Gordon, Mesars. W. J. Davis, W. F. Chapman, Mrs. S. Caldecott. Mrs. Davis, Mrs. Wilson Fenton, and Mr. George L. Robinson.
At the close of the meeting a most interesting exhibition of marching, club swinging, and motion songs was given by the girls. The club work was most clever, many of the figures having been invented and taught by the leader, Lauretta Maxwell, to the other six girls taking part. The playIng of Pearl Storey was also a feature, as was the appearance in costume of Matilda Jameson as a Welsh girl, Bessie Kennedy and Mary Bates as Irish giris, Grace Cameron and Pearl McTaggart as Scotch lassies, and Lily Bedford as Britannia. The various national hymns were sung by the girls as introduction to the tableau.

Inni is either the first-ever Sigur Rós live album, or second live film (and follow up to 2007's acclaimed tour film Heima). in fact, it is both: a 75-minute film and 105-minute double live album of the band captured in full flow at the close of their last tour in November 2008. Filmed at Alexandra Palace over two nights by director Vincent Morisset the film strips away everything save the raw performance of the four musicians themselves. Originally filmed on HD digital, Inni was first transferred to 16mm film and then projected and re-filmed once, sometimes through glass and other objects to give a strong impressionistic look, a feat accomplished with the help of Godspeed You! Black Emperor visual collaborator Karl Lemieux. The film was then meticulously pieced together by Heima editor Nick Fenton, who chose to break up the flow with unexplained archive footage, including interview and concert material from before the band's exposure to the wider world at the tail end of the last century.

2020 Reading Challenge - E-Book Edition!
According to Amazon, I have exactly 294 e-books currently sitting in my Kindle library.
Granted, some of these books have been read and are being saved for a second (or third, or fourth) re-read, but when it comes down to it, that number is around 40 books, give or take.
Which means I still have over 250 books that need to be read.
And it’s not like I haven’t tried! There are plenty of titles that, when opened up, will go to the last place I left off - that being chapter 5, or maybe chapter 10. But sometimes life gets in the way. Or a sudden interest in another author. Or a new season of RuPaul’s Drag Race. But whatever the reason may be, it’s over 250 books that haven’t been read. Challenge accepted!
For 2020, I commit to not buying any new books to add to my Kindle library (checking out books from the library is ok, because you’ve gotta support your local library!), and instead focus on the books I already have. So no addition of 99 cent books, or Kindle Unlimited books, or books that are suddenly 75% off. Only the books that I currently have.
As the reading commences, and after the book is finished, I’ll update my list to indicate what has been completed, along with the date purchased, and a short review (or a reason I just couldn’t finish it at all).
Below is the list for future reference - and to clarify my what my favorite genre is. Spoiler: it’s romance novels.
Here we go!
Adulting: How to Become a Grown-up in 535 Easy(ish) Steps – Kelly Williams Brown
An Affair with Mr. Kennedy (Gentlemen of Scotland Yard) – Jillian Stone
All About Love (Cynster Book 6) – Stephanie Laurens
All Afternoon with a Scandalous Marquess: A Lords of Vice Novel – Alexandra Hawkins
Almost a Scandal: A Reckless Brides Novel (The Reckless Brides Book 1) – Elizabeth Essex
Alpha – Jasinda Wilder

Steven Universe Comics: Where do I start???
Have you ever thought about checking out the Steven Universe comics from the beginning and can't figure out where to start . . .
Because there are literally dozens of things labeled "#1"?
Tumblr media
In this post I will outline for you what comics exist, which #1 issues belong to what series, and where you should start.
Please see my breakdown of Issue #1 Logic after the jump.
FIRST OF ALL: Steven Universe comics generally don't require that you read them in any specific order. So any #1 that you pick up is actually almost guaranteed to be either a standalone or the beginning of a series that doesn’t depend on earlier series. The practical upshot is that if you're buying a #1, it's fine. Any #1 is a fine place to start reading and it won't ruin any enjoyment for you.
That said?
There IS an order that these things came out, and I can explain it to you. Please scroll down for an exhaustive explanation of what's what--including several individual comic series, the trade paperback collections with rereleased content, the original graphic novels, and the standalone comic issues.
Steven Universe Original Comic Series
Tumblr media
8 issues total
Ran from 2014–2015
Generally retailed at $3.99 USD
Completed
These original comics were lovely little one-shots--several stories in each paper issue. Only one story had a “to be continued” and finished in the next issue; they’re almost entirely self-contained. Some are one-page art inserts or two- or four-page shorts, with a main story or two.
The above image depicts the main cover art for #1 by Bridget Underwood. You may find variant covers of this. They contain the SAME CONTENT inside as the above, but have different covers. Other Original #1 covers you may see include art by Andrea Fernandez, Coleman Engle, Matt Cummings, Steven Sugar, or Grace Kraft. They look like this:
Tumblr media
And you shouldn't come across these other ones because they're ridiculously rare, but if you do find either of these covers, please know you have found an Original Comic #1. The one on the right is Rebecca Sugar’s. The one on the left is by Danny Cragg (credited to Amber Rogers).
Tumblr media
Original Comics Trade Paperback
Tumblr media
Contains 4 Original Comics issues + cover gallery & bonus content
Published 2015
Generally retailed at $14.99 USD
Volume 1 of 2
To make things more complicated, most comic series that come out in individual issues will later be released in trade paperback editions--for this series, it'll be the first four issues combined into one sturdier, thicker book, and you'll also see that labeled #1 or Volume 1. If you see this one and it is listed online as a trade paperback (and is selling for more than you think a comic book would), it is probably a compilation of Original Comic 1–4. It features the same cover art as individual #1′s main cover art, by Bridget Underwood. You may see Volume 1 referred to as “Believe In Steven,” with Volume 2 listed as “Keep Beach City Weird.”
You can get all of the content from the individual issues by buying the trade paperbacks, plus both the trade paperbacks for the Original Comics have bonus content (a cover gallery and extra stories that aren't individually released anywhere). Be careful not to mix these up with Volumes 1 and 2 of the later 2017 series comics (discussed below).
Steven Universe and the Crystal Gems Comic Series
Tumblr media
4 issues total
Ran in 2016
Generally retailed at $3.99 USD
Completed
This series is a complete arc featuring the Gems investigating the mystery of the Glass Ghost. It’s a continuing story that culminates in the last issue.
The main cover #1 of the individual paper issues (by Kat Leyh) is pictured above. You may also run into one of the EIGHT different variants of this cover. They are all #1 of the same content--first in the four-part series Steven Universe and the Crystal Gems. The artists are Allison Strejlau, Missy Peña, Sam Davies, Jeremy Sorese, Josceline Fenton, Steven Sugar, and Amber Rogers (whose name is now Danny Cragg).

Steven Universe and the Crystal Gems Comics Trade Paperback
Tumblr media
Contains 4 Original Comics issues + cover gallery
Published 2016
Generally retailed at $14.99 USD
Complete in 1 volume
Steven Universe and the Crystal Gems’ trade paperback is generally labeled without a number, but some sites may still label it “Volume 1″ even though there is no Volume 2. You can get the complete story buying the trade paperback. Kat Leyh’s cover art from issue #3 is on the front cover of this collection.
Steven Universe 2017 Series Comics
Tumblr media
36 issues
Ran from 2017–2020
Generally retailed at $3.99 USD
Completed
This series has one complete story in each paper issue, but the issues don’t connect to each other and can be read in any order (with the exception of an ongoing connected story that covered issues 25 to 28, but went back to individual stories after completion).
The main cover #1 of the individual paper issues (by Missy Peña) is pictured above. You may also run into one of the five different variants of this cover. They are all #1 of the same content. The artists are Missy Peña, Rian Sygh, and Jenn St-Onge.
Tumblr media
2017 Series Comics Trade Paperback
Tumblr media
Contains 4 2017-Series Comics issues + cover gallery
Published 2017
Generally retailed at $14.99 USD
Contains 1–4
Well this is awkward. You may see either of these covers and they are the same thing. “Volume One” may be on your cover and the spine, and/or it may say “Warp Tour”--a title they gave to Volume One apparently. (If you want to know how the 2017 Series Comics work in subsequent trade paperbacks, please know that Volume Two containing 5–8 is “Punching Up”; Volume Three containing 9–12 is “Field Researching”; Volume Four containing 13–16 is “Just Right”; Volume Five containing 17–20 is “Find a Way,” Volume Six containing 21–24 is “Playing By Ear,” Volume Seven containing 25–28 is “Our Fearful Trip,” Volume Eight containing 29–32 is “To Be Happy,” and Volume 9 containing 33–36 is “Cherished Memories.”) The cover art for this volume is Missy Peña’s art for 2017 Series Comic #1.
Steven Universe Harmony Comics
Tumblr media
5 issues total
Ran in 2018
Generally retailed at $3.99 USD
Completed
Steven Universe: Harmony is a complete arc featuring the Gems investigating the mystery of the Harmony Core, balanced with Sadie Miller’s new life as a musician. It’s a continuing story that culminates in the last issue. The main cover #1 of the individual paper issues (by Marguerite Sauvage) is pictured above. You may also run into one of the four different variants of this cover. They are all #1 of the same content--first in the five-part series Steven Universe: Harmony. The artists are Savanna Ganucheau, Veronica Fish, Brittney Williams, and Sara Talmadge.
Tumblr media
Harmony Trade Paperback
Tumblr media
Contains 5 Original Comics issues + cover gallery
Published 2019
Generally retailed at $14.99 USD
Complete in 1 volume
Steven Universe Harmony’s trade paperback is generally labeled without a number, but some sites may still label it “Volume 1″ even though there is no Volume 2. You can get the complete story buying the trade paperback. Marguerite Sauvage’s   cover art from issue #2 is on the front cover of this collection.
One-Shot Comic: Greg Universe Special
Tumblr media
1 issue total
Published in 2015
Generally retailed at $4.99 USD
One-Shot
Surprise! Steven Universe: Greg Universe Special is labeled #1 even though there was never a #2. It features lovely sentimental stories by various artists about Greg Universe, Steven’s wonderful dad. The above main cover is by Ru Xu. You likely will NOT come across this variant of the Greg Universe Special by Fellipe Martins:
Tumblr media
...But if you do see it, for the love of god buy it and let me pay you a bunch of money for it. Anyway, it’s a variant of the above and it contains the same stories.
One-Shot Comic: 2016 Special
Tumblr media
1 issue total
Published in 2016
Generally retailed at $7.99 USD
One-Shot
Another surprise! Steven Universe: 2016 Special, also known as the Big Donut Special, is also labeled #1 even though there was never a #2. It features a bunch of stories that center around the Big Donut and its employees Sadie and Lars. The above main cover is by Ayme Sotuyo. You may also see these variants by Missy Peña and Katie Jones:
Tumblr media
These two are variants of the above and they contain the same stories.
One-Shot Comic: Fusion Frenzy
Tumblr media
1 issue total
Published in 2019
Generally retailed at $7.99 USD
One-Shot
Steven Universe: Fusion Frenzy is another comic labeled #1 even though there (I heard?) will not be a #2. It features five stories, each by a different artist/author combo, about a different Fusion (Stevonnie, Garnet, Smoky Quartz, Opal, Sugilite). The above main cover is by Nathalie Fourdraine. It actually connects with one of its variants (also by Nathalie Fourdraine) to make a full picture, and there are two more covers (by Abigail L. Dela Cruz and Alexandra Lillie).
Tumblr media
These, like the other one-shots, are variants of the above and they contain the same stories. Fusion Frenzy is self-contained and the stories in it DO NOT APPEAR in any Trade Paperback. You have to find the single issue to read it--it’s a standalone. It may be released in the future as part of a larger compilation, but that has not happened yet and as far as I know has not been announced.
One-Shot Comic Trade Paperback Compilation: Welcome to Beach City
Tumblr media
Includes the content of Greg Universe Special and 2016 Special
Published in 2019
Generally retailed at $14.99 USD
Contains two #1′s
For a long time the content for the Greg Universe Special and 2016 Special were not available if you couldn’t find individual paper issues, but that’s changed with Welcome to Beach City! It contains those two and their alternate cover galleries. The Fusion Frenzy from 2019 has not yet been released in a compilation, but these two have.
All-in-One Hardcover Edition
Tumblr media
Includes the Original Comics from 2014 - 2015, the bonus comics that were included in the two graphic novel compilations, the 4 issues of Steven Universe and the Crystal Gems, the first twelve issues of the 2017 Series, and an abbreviated miniature cover gallery.
Published in 2019
Generally retailed at $45.00 USD
Does NOT contain one-shots, graphic novel content, or Harmony
This is a bit of a misnomer as it does not contain everything and stops at #12 of the 2017 series. (Obviously since it was an ongoing series at the time, you can’t publish a book of it until the series stops being ongoing, but if people want this because they think it’s everything, they should know it is not everything.)
Original Graphic Novels
Tumblr media
Individual Novels
First one published in 2016
Generally retailed at $14.99 USD
Each is a One-Shot
As if this wasn't confusing enough with all these comic issues and variant covers and trade paperback versions of them, there are also original graphic novels! These are trade paperbacks that are complete in the large graphic novel form and were not previously individually released. They're legit graphic novels, and though the released volumes are not connected to each other story-wise, they are being labeled Original Graphic Novel 1, 2, 3, and so on.
The Original Graphic Novel #1 is called Too Cool for School. You may see it listed that way, or you may see it with no number. (For your information, Original Graphic Novel #2 is Anti-Gravity; OGN #3 is The Ultimate Dough-Down; OGN #4 is Camp Pining Play; and OGN #5 is Crystal Clean.)
Too Cool for School is about Steven trying to go to school with Connie for the first time. It has a second short story at the end about Vidalia having a yard sale. Its cover art is by Rosemary Valero-O’Connell and there are no variants.
Things that are not comics
Tumblr media
You may run into the soundtrack, the show itself, minisodes of the show, or the coloring book. (If you want the coloring book, though, it's awesome. Just make sure you get the licensed one. People sell a lot of compilations that are edited screenshots and fanart, and they pretend they're official coloring books. They are not.)
Keep in mind also there are books--they tend not to have numbers on them, but if you see books such as The Answer, Guide to the Crystal Gems, Quest for Gem Magic, Steven Universe Mad Libs, What in the Universe?, Live from Beach City!, Best Buds Together Fun, Postcard Power!, Keep Beach City Weird!, Make Art! (On Purpose), Steven Universe: Art and Origins, Lion: Mane of Mystery, Fusion for Beginners and Experts, or the Steven Universe Sketchbook--these are standalone storybooks, insight books, or activity books for the series.
If you are a person attempting to purchase print media as a gift and just want a quick and dirty suggestion for what to buy:
Buy the graphic novels and the trade paperback compilations. Only die-hards will need every scrap of material, so it’s okay if you can’t find the Greg Universe Special or Big Donut Special. My recommendations:
Buying ONE ITEM for a comics fan? Get Warp Tour.
Buying TWO ITEMS for a comics fan? Get Warp Tour and Punching Up.
Buying a GROUP OF ITEMS for a comics fan? Just get them all the trade paperbacks, starting with Volume 1 (”Believe in Steven”).
Buying ONE ITEM for a fan of the show, and don’t know if they’re into comics? Consider Steven Universe and the Crystal Gems trade paperback, Anti-Gravity, or The Ultimate Dough-Down--they’re more like books--or you can actually get a regular book. Keep Beach City Weird is funny for any age and Steven Universe: Art and Origins is cool for deep diggers and older fans.
Buying INDIVIDUAL ISSUES? Absolutely recommend all of the one-shots--the Greg Universe Special, 2016 Special, and Fusion Frenzy. Try to scoop up the first few of the 2017 series OR, if the person’s experienced with comics, try the original series or Harmony.
Buying stuff for a completist? Start with old copies of #1 on eBay or KaBoom’s site. Open your wallet and cry.
Feel free to read my reviews of every piece of media in the franchise if that will help you.

|| Get to know  JASMINE “JAZZ” FENTON who’s TWENTY-EIGHT years old and works as a PSYCHIATRIST in town. She is from CHICAGO and is often times mistaken for ALEXANDRA DADDARIO while others say she reminds them of  JAZZ from DANNY PHANTOM. ||
Take a peek at her story:
Jazz has always been about looking after her brother and trying to make sure he was able to have a normal life. Being the children to “paranormal” investigators was hard and made trying to fit in only more important. And that was what Jazz was good at; she was social and she was good at getting along with others, while Danny always seemed to be broody and out of it. No matter how many times she tried to get him to open up through the years he has shut her out. She tried her best to be mature in most situations since she found her family to not be, but it was hard sometimes. She longed for a decent family relationship AND normality.
For a while Jazz was working as a psychiatrist back home in Chicago. She had went to college for psychiatry, loving to learn about how the brain worked but also searching for some sort of explanation for her brother’s behavior. Of course no text book could prepare her from the announcement that Danny was moving to an island she heard little about. Being the great big sister she is, she decided to go with him. That way he had a little bit of family with him and she was able to look out for him like always. The two siblings got an apartment together, but Danny is hardly home. Jazz is constantly worried about him, but at the same time she excited for her new life here.

"But I didn't mean for this to happen..." Part 1 of 2
NOTE: I teach AP English at a high school in the USA. When I began this class this semester, I gave my class an assignment to write a fan fiction essay based on their favorite story, movie, show, or game. All but one of my students are Choices fans and wrote accordingly, Two of them (my daughter and my daughter-in-law) decided to team up and write one 2-part story. They gave me permission to share it here.
The story: The Senior, with parts inspired by The Haunting Of Braidwood Manor
The Pairing: Becca X MC (Alex)
The time: 7 years after MC graduated from Hartfeld
The premise: Assumes that Becca did not follow MC to London and try to reconcile the relationship.
------------------------------------------------
Becca walked into Fenton''s Bar in Northbridge and sat in a booth at the rear of the bar. It was the same booth where a beautiful redhead had taken everything Becca thought she knew about life and love and knocked it into a cocked hat.
The waiter came over to the booth and Becca ordered a Scotch and soda. While she was waiting for her drink to arrive, her mind began to wander.
When I first met Alex, I knew we wouldn't get along, Becca thought. She was so beautiful, so smart, she had a body that was so hot that I knew every boy on campus would want her instead of me. She smiled to herself. Took me six months to figure out she was into girls and only girls, and that she was interested in me...and that a woman could satisfy me emotionally and physically better than any man ever did. -- and that lesson began right here in this very booth.
The waiter brought her her drink. She took a sip, then ordered another. A double this time. She was trying to work up the courage to do something she should have done seven years ago...go to Alex and beg forgiveness for being such a selfish bitch when she transferred to a law school in California without even talking to Alex about it. It had caused such a fight that Alex left her. And instead of going after Alex, Becca immersed herself in school, then her career.
I drove away the only person that ever made me truly happy, Becca thought ruefully, and I was so self-centered that I didn't try to stop her. She went on with her life without me, and now she's a best-selling author. Yeah, I may have a great career that's set to go on to greater heights, but what good is it? My life is so empty without her.
The waiter came back to her booth with her double just as she finished her first drink. As she was raising it to her lips, she heard a drunken but familiar voice call out, "Bring me another one, Tracy!"
Becca slowly looked toward the bar. Sitting at the far end of the bar sat the beautiful, sexy redhead that was once her lover.
Oh my god! She's here! Alex is here! What do I do? What do I do???
Becca took a deep breath and got up from the booth. She picked up her drink, walked over to the bar and sat on a stool near where Alex was sitting. Oh God, please don't let me screw this up, she thought, then she spoke.
"Alex?"
Alex looked blurry-eyed in Becca's direction. "Who wants to-- well, well, well, if it ain't Perry Mason with a pussy!" Alex said loudly, the signs of her inebriation showing clearly. "What in the mortal hell are you doing here, Rebecca? Come to rub your glorious successes in my face??"
"Alex, I--" Becca began, but was interrupted.
"Or did you come to just come to show me how wonderful the great Becca Davenport is and how much of a pathetic loser I am?" Alex sneered.
"No, Alex, I just--"
"Seven years! Seven goddam years since you decided that damn West Coast law school was more important to you than the woman who loved you with all she had in her and would do anything in her power to make you happy! Seven motherfucking years since you showed me I was nothing more to you than an easy piece of ass!" Alex yelled at Becca, then she began to cry. "Seven long, miserable, lonely years that I craved your touch...longed to be in your arms...pined away for your love...prayed it was all just a horrible nightmare...but I'd wake up to an empty bed, a hole in my heart the size of Russia, and no you...you have no idea how much that hurts..." she said softly through her tears.
Becca bowed her head, tears starting to roll down her face. She started, "Yes, I--"
Alex rose unsteadily to her feet. "I can't take this! I gotta go!" she said, then made her way to the door.
Becca got to her feet. "Alex! Wait! Please!"
Alex wordlessly opened the door and left, slamming the door behind her. Becca began sobbing. "But I do know how it feels, baby. I do know..."
A few hours later, she was sitting in her hotel room, replaying what happened earlier that evening over and over in her mind. She went to the mini-bar in her room, grabbed a bottle of vodka and took a swig, then set the bottle back down. Getting as plastered as she is won't help matters any, Davenport, she thought to herself.
As she put the bottle down, she heard a knock on the door. She opened it to find Madison standing on the other side. Madison came in.
"Thanks for coming over," Becca said quietly. "I need somebody to talk to."
"What's wrong?" Madison asked.
"I....saw Alex this evening," Becca replied. "I came to town to find her and to talk to her...try to make things right between us..." She walked over and leaned against the balcony doors, gazing out over the city of Northbridge. "She lit into me like a starving pit bull in a meat locker...she wouldn't even listen...I know I deserve it... Maddie, she was the best thing that ever happened to me, and I blew it by letting her go...I'm such a fool...I never should've let her go..."
"Deep down, you still love her and want her back, don't you?" Madison inquired.
"Yes I do. I never stopped loving her," Becca answered. "She was the only person who saw through my tough exterior down to all my weaknesses and insecurities and still wanted me. Despite all my flaws, she still loved me completely. She's the only one who ever made me feel truly loved......but I don't stand a chance to ever have that again because I was such fool..."
"Why don't you call her and tell her what you told me? I'm sure she'll listen," Madison said.
"The way she chewed me up and spit me out, no she won't."
"Call her and see, Becca. Sounds like she feels like you do," Madison told her gently. "What do you have to lose?"
Becca walked over and grabbed her phone. When she brought the screen to life, a notification popped up:
BREAKING NEWS: NOVELIST ALEXANDRA DAY FOUND DEAD IN HER NORTHBRIDGE APARTMENT
Becca dropped her phone in shock. "Oh dear God noooooooooo...." she moaned. "What have I done???" she wailed as she started to cry uncontrollably.
"What's the matter, Becca?" Madison asked with genuine concern.
Becca was silent. She turned and walked slowly toward the balcony door as Madison picked up Becca's phone and saw the notification.
"Oh my God!" Madison said as she clicked on it. She skimmed through the article quickly, found what she was looking for, then called out, "You didn't do anything, Becca. Says here it was a case of acute alcohol pois--.....…Becca?"
Becca wasn't in the room. The balcony door was open. Madison raced to door and called "Becca!!" She peered over the railing...then she slid down to the floor of the balcony, leaning against the railing and sobbing uncontrollably. "Becca, noooooooooo....."
On the sidewalk 18 stories below, a crowd of onlookers began gathering around the spot where the shattered, lifeless body of Rebecca Davenport lay.

Isabel have fluffy hair, but was force to straighten it. She also stopped playing the violin due to peer pressure.S he was invisible after she came to New Earth..........Well it more like people focusing on the Asteria member Alexander Fenton, a civillain from Old Amity Park and the solo hero, Carol Baxter of New Amity Park. Nobody care about Isabel, the first gen human/ghost hybrid. Even though she is the daughter of Paulina and Kwan Lee. So despite her parents being quite important in the world of popularity as a teen, her daughter gets the short end of the stick. She have no friends in her time at Old Earth... She hangs out with fake friends who used her. And is scared of opening up about her sexuality. However, Isabel also bullied others and act likes the Alpha just like her parents to maintain her family's reputation. But now she had to face the consequence of her own actions..... If any of the people she met in Old Amity Park saw her... There be trust issues and grudges.
She have true friends. They are the neutral members of Asteria, Atlas Abadeer, Pocket Watch Rock, and July Anarchy. But she know that one of them have old friends that he miss and wants to see them again. She would be worry that he will go back to his friends and leave her behind. She is afraid her friendship with him won't last long.
Beside Ghostly Wail, Phasing, Possession, Invisibilty, superstrength and flying. Isabel have a unique abilities that can be unlock.
Her first unique power, summoning ghost train by just a punch. Her second unique ability is channeling her power through her violin that can boost one's ghost powers and other purposes.

Can you believe what happened in ducktales? Darkwing duck is back I hope Donald comes back from space. And I see gendra dee with Fenton they're a comple. For my comic book I wrote on my journal I decided to creat 2 human characters in the galaxy. Alexandra and Alexander.
When I watched the episode of Darkwing Duck I was so happy!! I couldn’t stop talking about it for the whole day! I kind of bothered my friend with it but they didn’t seem to mind much
