Solstice is getting bold. To her credit, though, Scully spent the whole weekend stealing her food, so she deserved a turn in the good spot (Scully did not agree).

It’s still weird getting a new animal and realizing nobody is gonna be mad at me lol. Got a betta fish at the store today (he was too beautiful and I lost all self control) and my parents can’t yell at me because I don’t talk to them anymore. I did tell my gran and she said my deadname in a disappointed tone but she’s got no ground to stand on—she just gave me a cat.

This is a happy life update. I have always wanted to adopt a black cat. Now I have a lovely furry friend to keep me company! This is Kicia, she is 6 and she is a beautiful little purry panther.
Shout out to Bristol & Wales Cat Rescue for uniting us.

A new addition to the family.
A few weeks passed, and Takemichi and his partners were spending a lazy Sunday afternoon at home. They were sitting on the couch, talking about their day and enjoying each other's company when Taiju suddenly exclaimed, "Hey, guys, what do you think about getting a pet?"
Yuzuha's eyes lit up. "That's a great idea! I've always wanted a cat," she said.
Hakki nodded in agreement. "I'm on board. But who's going to take care of it?"
"We all will!" Takemichi said enthusiastically. "We can take turns feeding it, playing with it, and cleaning up after it."
The four of them decided to go to the local animal shelter and look for a cat. After spending some time looking around, they hadn’t found the perfect cat for their family.
One day, while out on a walk, Takemichi spotted a small, scraggly cat wandering aimlessly through the streets. It was obvious that the cat had been abandoned, and it broke Takemichi's heart. He knew that he had to do something to help the poor creature.
Takemichi brought the cat home, and as soon as his partners saw the little ball of fur, they were in love. They all agreed that they wanted to give the cat a forever home, and they decided to adopt him.
The four of them became instant parents to the little feline, and they doted on him as if he were their own child. They gave him a name, Socks, and showered him with toys, treats, and all the love and attention that he could handle.
Takemichi, Taiju, Yuzuha, and Hakki would take turns feeding Socks, playing with him, and taking him on walks. They even set up a small bed for him next to their own, so that he could sleep close to them at night.
Their friends and family thought it was strange that they were treating a cat like a child, but the four of them didn't care. They loved Socks just as much as they loved each other, and they were proud to be his parents.
Days turned into weeks, and weeks turned into months. Socks grew stronger and healthier, and he brought joy and laughter to Takemichi and his partners every day. They continued to treat him like a member of their family, and they knew that they would always be there for him no matter what.
As they sat on the couch, with Socks curled up in Takemichi's lap, they realized that they had found their own little slice of happiness. They were a family, and nothing could ever change that.
