iran is bleeding russia dry for these drones. between 200k and 375k depending on the bulk order price. all for a chinese smartphone glued to a moped engine that most western analysts cost out at around 20k. a weapon who's effect so far has only been terror attacks on civilians because there's neither the precision nor payload to do anything else.
aside from taking their pound of flesh in the way only the best allies do, iran won't take rubles because those are worthless toilet paper at this point. russia is transferring billions of dollars of gold bullion to iran to pay for it
the gold matters because one of russia's main sources of income is mineral rights in central africa. wagner, now rebranding to the afrika korps, is bolstering the RSF who are commiting atrocities in sudan including massacres on civilian populations. wagner mercenaries are most likely behind the instability across central africa.
ukrainian special forces are in africa attempting to disrupt the flow of gold which has been criticised by many pundits. but the issue is its a far easier ordeal to stop the gold at the source than it is to prevent shipments between iran and russia. its also disrupting russian attempts to destabilise africa for their own game.
the takeaway from all this is there's multiple facets to war and everything is interconnected. also if you can get into the caspian sea there's some ripe opportunities for pillage and plunder anne bonny style

hellooo deviating from the usual a little bit here, sorry, but would it be okay w you to share a little about your academic career and yk all that because im applying for a STEM degree too so any insight would be really cool!! thank youuuu <3
Hi anon! Sure thing! I'm a little flattered honestly.
I'm currently working towards my PhD in physics (hence my obsession with data haha) so I can really only give advice in that field. In terms of my journey, in school I pretty gifted academically, 99th percentile and all that bullshit and it came to applying for unis/degrees and I had an option between doing a History & English or a physics degree. In school I definitely enjoyed the humanities more, but I've never regretted my decision to go with STEM, physics especially, because it teaches you a certain way to think. In my undergraduate degree I was trained to look at a situation, evaluate the context of it, try and collect data that is unbiased as possible, and draw conclusions, and that's a set of invaluable transferable skills that can be applied to a multitude of fields.
To someone who's just starting out in STEM now my advice would be: network, network, network. My partner and I are both doing PhDs that we got not through applying but through networking. Everyone is as smart as everyone else in STEM. Everyone was an honours kid, everyone did the "smart people" extracurriculars, so STEM, especially academia, runs on who you know. Networking these days can be as simple as asking someone slightly senior than you to grab coffee, as agreeing to go bouldering (for example) with a group of people in the same field as you. Be confident in your skills and abilities, (but beware that arrogance won't get you very far in the being liked game, especially if you're anything other than a white cis man). Don't let your studies get in the way of you being an interesting person! For example, I met a colleague from another university a couple of weeks ago and she and I bantered over our F1 teams, with her defending McLaren and me ride or die-ing for Ferrari, and I've since been roped into her mailing list and am collaborating with her on a grant application, things I'm SURE would not have happened if F1 wasn't an interesting hobby of mine that I can and will take every chance to yap about.
As a final aside, don't let yourself get too discouraged. STEM is NOT for the faint of heart and definitely not the place to go if you want to keep feeling smart. The first two years of any STEM degree are designed to break people in a specific way so that they let go of their ego, yes it is part of the process and YES everyone is struggling just as much as you (that's actually want they want you to figure out!), so that then they can enter the world of research with as little ego as possible (this works to varying degrees of success). But honestly, STEM is so rewarding. To have this really in depth knowledge of how part of our world works is fascinating. Your friends who work in non-STEM fields will understand absolutely none of it, and you'll get to a point where even the effort of trying to explain it to other fields of STEM is too monumental (for example, I understand enough about basic aero in order to get to grips with F1 cars, but a friend of mine is doing aero research and he spent about ten minutes the other month trying to explain push/pull bars in F1 cars to a group of PhD students comprising of: theoretical physicist, astrophysicist, plasma physicist, a quantum physicist, and mechanical engineer before the poor guy almost gave up and had a nervous breakdown because none of us were getting it). I think part of the beauty of STEM is realising how little you know, and how much of it there is for us to still work out.
You got this! You're at the beginning of a beautiful journey and I KNOW it'll turn out brilliant <3.

So, after watching some dbh videos i had another idea for my “How I think shit works” list. This time i’ll be talking about how I think interfacing works in DBH, the difference between a proper interface and an interaction and the difference between some models.
⚠️ Just be aware i won't be giving any electronics, computing networks, internet or cyber security lessons here cuz i ain't a teacher, i'm just a dude making some theories. Also, this ain't a detailed stuff it's just guessing. Don't take it seriously it's just me playing with names. (and don't mind my english and lack of proper vocabulary)
▷ Establishing Connection
I gonna separate things in 4 main topics: "Points of interest/connection", "Direct interfacing", "No-Touch Transmission" and "External Interaction".
⚠️ Just to be clear every action kinda got some data exchange by default irl but to make things sound more cool i gonna use different terms.
→ Points of interest (connection)
Points where we can estabilish a connection/interaction
(→ ← for data flow; ←receiving, →sending)
Hands (mostly) (←→)
Most known areas of contact are the palm and fingertips. But it's possible receive connection thru the back of the hand.
Forearms (←)
I got the slight impression there's some read action related to the thirium energy levels in the wrist. I simply don't know if it's true or the game "doing things the human way" again.
Upperarms (←)
Usually closer to where the armband is.
Shoulders (←)
Trapezius (headcanon) (←)
Head/Internal head component-transmissor (←→)
Probably where the LED is. Maybe the LED is some sorta tracker? I don't know. I'll let to your imagination. But for sure there's a transmissor in this same side of the head. I mean probably.
→ Direct interfacing
Happens when using the hand into another another point of connection. The android skin must be made of something that blocks any type of direct connection, so the classic way of knowing we got an interface is by looking if the skin is being retracted. We also got a glowing light.
Clothes, for some reason, won't interrupt or block the connection but the skin probably still retract under it. Does it make the connection speed "slower"? I don't know. Practically doesn't seem to have any difference, unless we got a material that can block or isolate these frequencies.
When we talking about direct interface, we got basically 3 types:
(A, B for actors; → ← for data flow; red for active actor (mostly), blue for passive actor (mostly); green for mutual/both)
Mutual data exchange (A←→B or A→←B)
Both sides are sending and receiving data at the same time. The most clear example is "brain" connection, a shared space where 2 brains basically become one. What happens in A runs in B at the same time.
Average Send and Receive (not forced A→B or A←B)
When a connection is estabilished, one actor will send their own data to another actor, but this second actor won't send any data back to the first actor or let 'em own stuff be read. Another case is one actor doing the action of extract data from another actor without letting 'em own stuff be read. One is a Sender->, the other one is a Receiver←, also works if it's read only (accessing memories, for example). A classic example would be a information transfer or a reader pad of sorts (what's the mf name?).
I know the definition of sender and receiver can become confusing when we got an active actor receiving information but ain't the passive actor that is sending, is the active one that is pulling things, know what i mean? Don't mind me.
System breaching (forced A→B or A←B)
We have an actor always accessing another system without permission, usually trying to inject or extract data. Sometimes is the case it's just a system read action, but if ain't "consensual" i consider a breaching for obvious reasons. By consensual i mean more like bypassing authorization and security protocols, usually androids can't invade each other systems like this. Usually.
→ "No-Touch" Transmission
I theorize we can have a transmission when 2+ devices are in the same network or one actor can access others network (as unknown entity). In this case we can have all the same points from before (Send/receive, Breaching and Exchange) without any “physical” contact.
→ External Interaction
The name already tell ya all. I guess the main difference from a direct interface (visually) would be the way the skin of the actor(→ or ←) won't retract. They ain't exactly interacting with the system internally, there's no data flow.
━━━━━━
▷ Examples
U must be asking...
"when did all this happen in DBH? Ain't you just overthinking again?"
If for some reason find and read this i want let u know u are totally correct. Every name here is a headcanon, but the action itself happens in canon. To help illustrating my ideas i gonna drop some screenshots with a summary of what i think it is, if needed ofc.
→ Direct Interface - Mutual data exchange
Tumblr media Tumblr media
→ Direct Interface - System breaching
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Explaining the last 2 ones:
In the first one is a internal system diagnosis and the second one i have my doubts. Idk if he's trying to access her memory, if he's trying to access her energy levels or trying to force a start enough to retain relevant data. And like i said in "System breaching" i'll be considering a breaching if ain't "consensual" even if it's a read only action - she's literally shutdown.
→ Direct Interface - Average Send and Receive
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Chotto matte, Marcus. What Connor unlocking the door got to do with it?
Well, he's sending his info to the pad so it recognizes him and unlock the door OR the pad sensor is pulling his info to make a match with dbs and unlock the door. U choose - actually is both at the same time but we won't talk about that 🤫 remember the ⚠️
→ No-Touch Transmission - System breaching || Average Send and Receive
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You are probably asking yourself WTF? but i'll try to explain what i think:
The first one i interpret as Markus finding and accessing the network this android is connected and finding her "device", then breaching it, having access into, well, her. How? Probably scan and help of some network breaching tools.
The second one already exists nowadays and i know i didn't explained further but in summary: when u make a virtual payment via internet, even if from different "devices" and "nets" they kinda come together in another one to make a succesful transaction. And i believe most of mfs in this universe use the same bank and the same type of connection, after all...androids got a default system and the internet is only one.
→ External Interaction
Tumblr media
Listen, i know what u gonna say. "It's an interface, Marcus". No, ain't a interface. First cuz Connor ain't pushing or pulling any data outta the Traci system. Second cuz what did i say about direct interfaces? Hands without skin. This one seems like a hardware action to me, know what i mean? Does Connor got any kinda tool in his hand to make the Traci's skin retract? Yes. Is it an interface action? No. It's an external interaction? Yes, in my opinion ofc. Would be the same if a technician had a tool to make the skin retract/disperse.
━━━━━━━
▷ Last babbling
There will be conflicts in all this and some theories may not work sometimes, just saying. I gonna list some few thoughts i had, mostly doubts:
"Deviant" AP700s can breach other AP700s or maybe ain't exactly breaching but they got a compatibility that makes 'em system recognize another AP700 request as non-threatening automatically;
A similar thing happen with the RK800 but more complex. They're so compatible they can even swap bodies without major "resistance" from the receiver side even if it's a breaching;
RKs are the only models that can breach any android, break 'em handler system and even give 'em new orders (also by transmission);
Common models can't exactly "convert" other models but for some reason they can breach other low-security devices if they ain't authorized to use it;
I assume Markus can scan and breach other androids remotely (convert) within 5~10m radius without major conflicts;
Android exchanging information via transmission is the most realistic way of interface in a "wireless" world like DBH but, to illustrate some things so we can understand better, in the game we got the direct interface. Unless the direct one is more efficient cuz it's direct and got a weight feeling;
Markus and Connor interface speed may be faster than an average model (meaning they take less time to breach, extract and transfer data). Maybe an AP700 is faster too?;
I don't have any details about the security measures in case of breachings in common models. Doesn't seem like they can fight an forced interface at all xD;
You probably noticed androids got multiple points of connection but depending on the meaning of the interface X place is more used than Z. Don't ask me why 💀
It's unlikely a direct interface can start using the lower part of the body (lower torso and legs);
When in a direct interface not always the receiver will have 'em skin retracted. I think it probably happens in breachings, where the receiver system ain't acknowledging the action as a proper and authorized interface;
It's likely the only parts of the body where the skin retracts during interface are the arms and maybe the LED area (you know exactly what I'm talking about and why);

Glitchy Red Headcanons for Connection
Thought I'd share some (mostly) spoiler-free headcanons for my Glitchy Red fic just for fun. With what I have posted so far these should all be pretty obvious, but there's a couple more things I want to hint at for the story. Some are just random tidbits that have no reason for existing other than just because.
In my mind, Red is something between a glitch, an AI, and a supernatural entity.
The longer a player interacts with the game, the stronger Red gets. He'd been left dormant for so long that when Leann found him, he hardly had any of his old abilities and was borderline an amnesiac. All he had at that point was his bitter hatred of players and the glitches. Her keeping the game on for so long has allowed him to become himself again.
The glitches he experienced broke him in every way imaginable. Hence the reason it takes him some time to snap into his real self.
Despite all his talk, he has no idea what he is or how he exists. He can't be bothered to care.
Theoretically he could be transferred into a PC or some other more powerful device, but due to the broken nature of his code and the fact he doesn't fully understand what proper programming is, it likely wouldn't end well for whatever he's put in. He's a stubborn bastard now so he'd be fine, but the computer would be bricked.
I feel like, just for shits and giggles, Red's "data" is this impossibly convoluted mess of code that is somehow much larger than it should be. He exists within the Pokémon Red cart, along with the entire game, and this mofo is like, 8GB of data by himself. Makes no sense. Something mind-bogglingly stupid like that.
There's more below the cut, and beware potential spoilers for stuff I haven't written.
Now for some fun ideas I have that I kind of want to do stuff with but I don't know if I'll include it in Connection or not.
Red is powerful enough to physically haunt a person. Only the person claiming ownership over the cartridge can see and hear him. Likewise, Red can only interact with them and no one else. He mostly uses this fact to stare intimidatingly from the corner of a dark room, a la sleep paralysis demon, or just watch them while they struggle to ignore his presence and go about their lives.
In the past he's gone far enough with this that he's tormented players to the point of people thinking they've gone insane. And they pretty much were by that point.
Red's other preferred ghost tactic is to swat things from their hands or wake them up in the middle of the night by prodding at them. Or screaming right in their face.
Unless the player passes the game along to some other poor sap, they'll be stuck with him indefinitely.
The game cannot be destroyed. It lets off major fuck-you energy to anyone who tries. Smash it to bits with a hammer? Lol. Set it on fire? Got any marshmallows? Throw it into a lake? Well, I'd almost say good job but did I forget to mention that the only other thing Red can interact with is his game? Whoops. Hope you don't mind him letting himself back in to give you an earful for throwing him away like that. And no, water can't damage it either.
This is of no deliberate choice from Red. He'd love to let the game be destroyed so he can stop existing in pure agony. The damn thing just won't die though, and subsequently, neither will he.
He doesn't really have anything against kids. Mind you, he doesn't like kids since he gained sapience, but he can tolerate them more than adults. At least children have the excuse of being naïve and clueless when they're breaking the game. Usually. He'll give them the benefit of the doubt. Adults who come back to witness the broken horror of the original game know full-well what they're doing and he can't stand it.
He won't do much to torment kids aside from his usual in-game antics. The adult players are the ones who get thrown out of bed at 3am or have their dreams haunted.
The developers were adults too so the hatred's also pretty obvious. He'd love to get his hands on them some day. He has a paranoid side that is whole-heartedly convinced they're out there looking for his cart, ready to erase him and be rid of the stain on their record.
It's been a while since someone last turned the game on. He seems to have a bit of reputation now.
Has zero concept of the internet but could probably figure it out.
He doesn't hate the new gens so much just because they replaced him. He loathes the fact that they are all genuinely better than he'll ever be. He and his game are broken, not good enough, and now that he has self-awareness he realizes he was never meant to be anything special. He was simply a stepping-stone, a learning curve meant to kickstart an idea. He was, isn't, and never will be anything more than that. His only legacy is how glitchy his game is.
He's very aware of the irony that the very thing that made him what he is, is the whole reason why he was deemed a failure by his creators. If you're smart, you won't bring it up.
I have more, but I think I should stop. I could talk about this little project of mine for hours. Or any project for that matter. If anyone would like to hear more of my deranged ramblings they're more than welcome to ask. 😅

Not your hard drive, not your data.
There's been a lot of bad news regarding actually owning anything that was digitally acquired. From Funimation to Sony. A lot of stuff people bought just stopped existing.
Ross Scott from game dungeon is trying to end the perma death that takes place with Live Service games.
It's gotten people to really talk about buying physical media again.
And to me, this is a flawed thought process. Owning the physical device won't save it forever. In fact, most media does have a physical form. Companies typically keep a master copy of whatever is created and sold/broadcast. A lot of that content becomes essentially lost media but in reality, we're just looking for someone who is willing to digitize the only physical copy that exists for that item.
You're thinking "Oda, one copy is good. It's better than no copies, and all we want is to own a copy and we're willing to pay for it to and that will preserve it better in the end." And that's a convincing argument. But we need to talk about how things are preserved.
CDs are how most TV shows and video games are saved and copied and CDs can last anywhere between 20 to 100 years.
Did I say 20 to 100 years? I mean to say, 1 day to whenever you scratch it accidentally. Sun damage, dropping on the floor, having it sit on a surface and gather dust, hell, running the CD wears it out after awhile.
This is the same issue with books. Of course we need to keep books. Books are valuable and priceless, but if you aren't keeping your books maintained by rebinding it, touching up the faded ink, and keeping the book basically unmolested in a temp controlled container, it's going to rot on your shelf and become useless. Hell, forget about extremists burning your books. Bugs are going to eat it first.
Having multiple physical copies is the way but it should be in a format that is easily transferable. CDs are quickly becoming obsolete and once CD drivers stop being built it will be a pain in the ass to rip data from a CD (This isn't even including Blueray CDs which are even harder to extract data from).
What you don't want is to just have a CD of the game or TV show. You just need physical data on a hard drive. Once you have a copy on your hard drive, you can copy that data onto other hard drives, you can copy that data onto a cloud service that you use like Dropbox or Megaupload. You can also illegally torrent or re-upload your copy so other people can have it.
I see this argument a lot in digital currency spaces. Just because it's effectively invisible doesn't mean it doesn't exist physically. Physical ownership should not mean becoming a very organized hoarder.
It should mean dumping and ripping everything you buy whether it's some CD you bought at Best Buy or it's some show you bought legally on a online store that you don't really own because the fine print said you were just renting it long term but fuck them, you bought it, therefore you should use video rippers to make whatever you bought actually yours (and if you are wondering, no, I don't use those specific methods but the method I use I had to actually pay for).
And once you have it. Make a backup, Make a backup of that backup, make a remote backup, and make sure when your time comes someone can find your copy of it.
With video games there are data dumpers and ROM sites galore. The really hard part is getting a emulator that runs the games effectively. Citra was caught in the AOE when Nintendo Ulted Yuzu and they just Surrendered at 20. Even when Citra was alive though it wasn't replacing a 3DS in a lot of ways. There are a lot of games that were dependent on the various software and hardware functions that a 3DS had that the Citra doesn't accurately replicate. You CAN play Tomodachi Life on a Citra but good luck not destroying your OLED from your miis asking for sneeze assistance. Forget using the AR camera or even the normal camera. Citra crashes or creates scrambled images when taking in game screenshots.
The mic doesn't work either so mic related games just don't work.
But Tomodachi Life can be generally played. It gets uglier when you think about games like Rusty's Real Deal baseball. A game that requires you connecting to the store to make a purchase. An action that is completely impossible now. How about all the games that were Mii related? Spotpass? Streetpass?
Eccentric games that requires specific hardware and software to run are basically easy to copy but impossible to run. Real preservation is in completely replicating the environment they used to function in which is a level of techno wizardry most people don't have.
Which brings me to the Sisyphean task of making sure games with dedicated servers gain the ability to live forever as a zombie.
When a multiplayer game is kept alive through user owned servers, it lives in only the most literal sense. Imagine all those failed live service games that had their audience dwindle down to zero before closing forever. Would those games have been saved if you just gave players the ability to set up their own server? No, because most of those games require several hundred players to really function correctly.
Similar to how just owning the ROM to Rusty's Real Deal Baseball doesn't grant you the ability to play it like it originally was. A live service game that has lost 99% of its audience is not saved by having it's existence put on life support via the one person willing to host a server for it and maybe five other people willing to play it for a few hours a year.
It is unfortunate but in order to actually preserve Live Service games we have to let them die and allow for the idea that made the game to be reborn into something more sustainable. Instead of a Live Service or an MMO it's just a single player experience. Maybe it is multiplayer but the other players are just sophisticated AI and the occasional human player.
Preservation isn't just about having something sitting around and rotting. It's about acquiring something at it's most functional, and then replicating that and if something truly cannot be saved, it must be remembered and remade. CDs, Books, even Hard Drives die.
But ideas are forever.

Demystifying Software Testing: A Beginner's Guide Software testing is like being a detective for computer programs. Imagine you're the detective, and the software is your case. Your mission: to find any hidden problems or bugs. Bugs in software can lead to crashes, errors, or other issues, and that's where testing comes in. In this article, we'll take a closer look at software testing in simple terms, so you can understand its importance and how it works. What is Software Testing? Software testing is a process to check if a computer program does what it's supposed to do and does it correctly. Think of it as trying out a new recipe to make sure it tastes good before serving it to guests. Testing helps ensure that the software works smoothly and won't cause problems for its users. Why Is Software Testing Important? Imagine you're using a banking app, and it suddenly crashes when you try to transfer money. That's frustrating and could lead to big problems. Software testing helps prevent these kinds of issues. It's like checking a car's brakes to make sure they work correctly before driving it. Here's why software testing is crucial: 1. User Satisfaction: Testing ensures that software works as expected, leading to happy users who trust the product. 2. Safety: In fields like healthcare and aviation, software bugs can be life-threatening. Testing is essential to ensure safety. 3. Cost-Efficiency: Fixing issues in the early stages of development is less expensive than fixing them after the software is released. 4. Reputation: Companies with buggy software can damage their reputation. Testing helps maintain a positive image. Types of Software Testing There are many types of testing, but we'll cover a few basic ones: 1. Functional Testing: This checks if the software does what it's supposed to do. For example, in a weather app, does it show the current temperature correctly? 2. Regression Testing: When new features are added, this type of testing checks if old features still work correctly. Like making sure your phone's camera still takes pictures after a software update. 3. Performance Testing: It evaluates how fast and efficiently software works. Think of it as checking how fast a car can go. Software testing follows a structured process: 1. Planning: Testers decide what to test, create a plan, and set goals. It's like making a game plan before a sports match. 2. Design: Test cases are designed. These are like a list of tasks to perform, such as clicking buttons or entering data. 3. Execution: Testers perform the test cases and carefully observe the software's behavior, noting any issues. Testing isn't always straightforward. Some challenges include: 1. Incomplete Requirements: Sometimes, developers don't have all the information they need to test the software fully. 2. Time Constraints: Testing can take time, but there's often pressure to release software quickly. 3. Changing Code: Frequent changes in the code can make it hard to keep up with testing. Conclusion Software Testing, as we've explored in this article, plays a pivotal role in ensuring the functionality, reliability, and user-friendliness of digital applications and programs. Just as AppWarsTechnologies stands at the forefront of technological innovation, software testing stands as the guardian of quality and user satisfaction in the digital realm. As technology continues to evolve, the importance of thorough software testing cannot be overstated. AppWarsTechnologies recognizes this significance and remains committed to excellence in the world of digital solutions. Whether you're a developer striving for bug-free code or a user seeking a seamless experience, software testing, backed by institutes like AppWarsTechnologies, bridges the gap between aspiration and achievement in the ever-evolving landscape of technology.

AR/VR Trends and Predictions For The Upcoming Years

A lasting impression has been made on people all over the world with the introduction of augmented and virtual reality. These technologies have not only caught the interest of smartphone users but also of emerging and well-established businesses, pushing business owners and marketers to think about investing in the development of AR and VR applications.
A Determination of the Current AR/VR Market
Virtual reality, which was first connected with hardware, has progressively making its way into the software market. It has developed into the most potent player in the gaming and entertainment sector and has drawn interest from companies with a range of industrial uses.
But when it comes to augmented reality, everyone is interested in finding out more about the technology's commercial applications and dreaming up a better future.
IDC believes that in 2018, the AR/VR market accounted for close to 60% of all investments made globally. However, by the end of 2021, it is anticipated to account for 85% of total global spending, with retail, transportation, manufacturing, and government spending at the top of the list.
 They are anticipated to have a larger market share by 2025 as a result of a growing emphasis on utilizing technology to scale their operations effectively. Similarly, SMEs are anticipated to boost their presence in the AR/VR industry by 66.40% between 2018 and 2025.
Let's look at the trends and technologies that will aid in the expansion of this market now that you have a better understanding of the state of the AR and VR industry today and in the years to come.
Future AR and VR Trends
AI integration in the AR/VR space
Artificial intelligence, augmented reality, and virtual reality have all made inroads into the corporate sector and proven their worth.
The quantity of AR avatars is increasing
In recent years, the popularity of virtual celebrities like Activ8's Kizuna AI and Brud's Lil Miquela has significantly increased. Consumers have taken to these imagined characters, and they have become virtual influencers. As a result, their market potential in the coming years is anticipated to expand.
Using the ability of augmented reality to outfit vehicles
Around the world, autonomous vehicles are becoming more and more popular. The public is eager to ride in these autonomous vehicles. But what really astounds me is how quickly automakers will incorporate augmented reality into these cars.
AR/VR progress will be accelerated by 5G
The technology will significantly affect how we approach augmented reality and virtual reality, as we previously indicated in our blog post on the impact of 5G on mobile apps.
5G's lightning-fast mobile network will hasten data transfer to the cloud, processing, and the creation of a virtual image, ultimately improving the virtual experience for users.
WebAR’s debut
Prior to this, only mobile devices could participate in the AR experience. To enter the augmented reality, one needs first download and install the smartphone application. The WebAR, however, has now been developed.
This will, as the name implies, make it simpler for users to interact with augmented reality on the web. It will lessen the barriers to use and enhance the overall experience by enabling them to enjoy AR on Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or other browsers independent of the device they are using.
What Will Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality Look Like in the Future?
The experiences offered by future AR/VR devices will be tailored, easily accessible, and beautifully made. As these factors start to take effect, a platform shift is inevitable. With this steady pace, we will see new AR glasses with LTE capability in three years, which will become a smartphone replacement.
With increased immersive innovation and augmented reality capabilities, the structural component of our top consumer electronics will change, and we won't look back. In the upcoming years, we might check our communications with augmented reality and browse Instagram with martini glasses.
Businesses are preparing for the change and looking for top AR VR businesses in the United States to help them expand their business.
In light of this, let's conclude this post by discussing how to make the most of the trends in augmented reality and virtual reality.
How Can We Get Ready For An AR/VR-Influenced Future?
As described in this article, virtual and augmented reality is anticipated to have a significant impact on the corporate sector. The current state of our understanding of AR/VR trends and leading virtual reality companies' perspectives is insufficient. It is advised that you speak with the AR VR app development company about the prospect of integrating their raw power into your organization in order to effectively and profitably plan for the near future.
Final Thought
Track the effectiveness of your strategies and know where you stand among your rivals so that you can use technology, such as virtual reality, to edge over the competition. In this aspect, analytics solutions are very beneficial. The top sales analytics products available right now can be viewed.

What is the Socks5 proxy IP? What does it do?
The proxy server is between your device and the Internet. As a result, you won't have direct access to the Internet when using a proxy, but your Web requests will first be routed through the proxy and then sent to the Web server. Proxy protocol is the rule applied during the data exchange between the device and proxy server. SOCKS5 proxy is one of the most common proxy protocol types. Because of SOCKS5's flexibility, speed, and anonymity, SOCKS5 proxy are suitable for different uses by individuals or companies.
The SOCKS5 proxy is ideal for use cases where large amounts of data need to be transferred, such as P2P, gaming, and streaming media. It is easier to grab web pages from 360 Q&A traffic intensive sources such as video or live streaming using the SOCKS5 proxy.
360proxy products support over 80 million residential IP resources in more than 190 countries and regions around the world, with prices as low as $0.04 /IP. Welcome to visit.

Transportation Across Hydaelyn
We start off the game in a carriage but, even if you spent 36USD to have your own, and are obnoxious enough to use it everywhere, (it's a 4 person mount. it's not small) all we got is our own two feet. At this point if you want to get anywhere in a hurry you gotta make liberal use of the sprint button and just deal with the cool down
Fun Fact: The game used to have TP which was max 1000 and was used like MP but for all physical damage classes. And Sprint. which, upon use, completely deplete your TP. If you did physical damage and accidentally hit sprint you were useless for the next, like, 30s.
The first true method of transportation you have access to is Teleportation
Aetherytes & Teleportation
Now, you're given a basic run down in your starter city when you first attune and these are pretty straight forward: Attune to the big crystal and then when you are Somewhere Else you can pay gil to now instead be There. Easy peezy lemon squeezy and all that.
What I'm going to tell you about are these options:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
[Image ID: two images of Aetheryte options in FFXIV. On the left the dialog box reads "Welcome to the Gold Saucer." with the options "Aethernet", "Set Home Point", "Register Favored Destination", "Register Free Destination", and "Cancel." The second box reads "Welcome to Ul'dah - Steps of Nald." and has all of the same options with "Visit Another World Server" listed after "Aethernet" and a star next to "Set Home Point." /end ID]
You can only visit other servers from major cities so I'll cover that last. In order:
Set Home Point: This is your One Free Teleport with a 900 second (15 minute) cool down between uses and also the place you return to upon death in the field. The game will automatically set this as your starter city when you attune to it. It can be helpful to some to change it as you move through story while helpful to others to Leave It to one spot. Whatever works best for you just don't forget Return exists!
Register Favored Destination: Everyone gets 3 of these without needing to do or pay anything extra. Registering a destination makes the teleport half price. This gets very handy as story goes on and the world gets bigger and TPs much more expensive. (whines in 1200 gil.) If you find yourself returning to a destination a lot, it's probably a good idea to mark it a favorite. All favorites will have a star next to this option once chosen and they will also have a star next to them in the teleport list with the reduced price listed.
Register Free Destination: You get this for having the One Time Password. A neat little reward to encourage extra safety but it does mean that if you're too lazy (or in too much pain, or too tired or-) to grab your phone when logging in it won't be free while you're in game for that session. (I do believe. Correct me if i'm wrong, anyone who knows.)
Now everyone's favorite: visiting other servers. This is still a pretty new feature! It does what it says on the tin. Say you have friends who also play the game but they're on another server you can use the aetheryte in any major city to hop on over to visit them, so long as you're on the same data center. You can visit other data centers, however that's different.
With world visit you can buy things off the market, run partied or solo content, and trade between players. You can not access retainers, send or receive mail, access FCs, non-cross world Linkshells, Housing, Eternal Bonding or any Gold Saucer Tournaments. It's meant for just saying hi and running things with friends or RP, (or for you and your gf to trade things for alts on other worlds), not for you to move in. If you want to do that you're looking for world transfers, not visits.
After teleporting, at level 10 you unlock chocobo porters!
Chocobo Porters
We're talkin' 'bout these guys
Tumblr media
[Image ID: a screenshot of a lalafell wearing a chocobo mask and a yellow tunic with a black apron with chocobos printed on it. Above them they have a quest marker and "Mimigun <Chocobokeep>" /end ID]
All of the chocobo keeps in A Real Reborn are dressed like this regardless of race. In order to port somewhere you have to have talked to the porter there to register your name in their books. You can generally get at least one settlement over and/or to the center major city with these- like most if not all porters in the Shroud go to Gridania, for example. They are actually quite cheap and they're a much quicker way to transport yourself before you unlock mounts yourself. Once you confirm the game will auto run you all the way to your destination. When you choose it from the list it tells you how long the trip will take as well so feel free to scroll tumblr or grab some water or a snack. You'll be dropped somewhere safe to idle.
The Chocobokeeps in the major cities also allow you to rent chocobos! So if you need to go somewhere you haven't gotten the porter yet or there isn't a porter and you don't have mounts yet this is a wonderful way to get there faster than your little legs can carry you. You have a flat rate of 10 minutes for 80gil. You can dismount at any time but you will lose whatever time you have remaining on that trip (it is rare to need 10m to get somewhere unless you afk.)
And then, we get airships, but there's not really anything to say there.
And then, at level 20 msq, we get mounts.
Company Chocobo & other mounts
This bad boy is your military given right to nyoom. Even if you've purchased mounts online or received them by some other means, you cannot access them until you get this bird. Once you have him (as the game insists they're a he) and name him you can use any mount in the game you have the ability to obtain. Here is where you can use that 36USD chocobo carriage.
Most mounts in the online store are account wide so you pay for them once and have them on every character you have now or will ever have in the future. Whether or not that makes them worth the real money investment to you is entirely up to each and every person for each and every mount.
There are, of course, also plenty of other mounts you can earn in the game through achievements and side content and tribe quests and the like. So even if nothing in the shop calls to you, or you can't justify spending more of your cold hard cash on the game (fair and valid) you can still have plenty of fun and pretty (or ugly!) mounts.
Or, you can, of course, stick with your ever loyal chocobo. this bad boy can fit so much customization in him. if you have access to a stable (an FC house or personal house or apartment) you can dye him! You can get him more and different barding, stable not required! you can mix and match barding pieces! Truly, he's the only one by the WoL's side through their whole journey and he gets the fun custom things for it. That, and because they're one of Final Fantasy's Trademark Animals and we all love them. (but really, my main's bird is sky blue and tiny because he's a Lalafell and I love him so so much.)

What Category Of Lan Cable Offers You Optimized Performance?
It is not always simple to purchase Ethernet wire. Network cables come in a variety of varieties, including Cat 5, Cat5e, cat6a lan cable, Cat6e, and Cat7, as well as various lengths, colours, and other characteristics. These are offered by several different vendors.
Tumblr media
It is crucial to get the proper network cable: if you over specify it with cat7 LAN cable, you will spend too much; if you under specify it, the performance will suffer and the Ethernet link or local area network won't function as effectively as it might. The finest performance at the lowest cost is guaranteed when the proper Ethernet cable is used. Discover what is required and the different Ethernet cable possibilities by reading the information below.
Ethernet cable necessity
Keep in mind that, for many connections, the Internet connection is the slowest link while choosing the cable. Even fibre connection will be lower than standard Ethernet connections, so if it is simply being used for browsing the Internet, a very standard Ethernet cable will be plenty.
When files are moved between devices for backup, streaming movies, streaming games, and other purposes, the better Ethernet connections really shine. Modern, better Ethernet connections with greater speeds can actually make a difference.
Performance of Ethernet cables
There are several categories of Ethernet cable that are offered. The network cable categories Cat 5, Cat 6, and Cat 7 are all readily available, with Cat 7 being the newest and highest performing. Cat 5 is the oldest standard. It is critical to choose a connection that will satisfy the system's needs because the performance levels of the various category cables vary.
Compatibility
One benefit of wired connections is that they may be used interchangeably and are backwards compatible. A router with the most recent 10G Ethernet interface can accept a Cat 5 cable instead of cat7 lan cable. The cable will just cause the data flow to be slower. Depending on the nature of the file transfers, this could or might not be an issue.
Conclusion
In conclusion, these are few Lan cables category that you must know about. Ask your internet provider, if they offer you these cables.

What are the basic screen factors to choose a dedicated server
Many businesses prefer dedicated servers for hosting websites, apps, databases, and backups because of the added protection and control. One surefire approach to secure the reliability and speed of your website is to lease a dedicated server. Your website will run faster and more reliably if you use 1Gbps Netherlands Unmetered Servers. However, buying a dedicated server for a small business might be one of the most difficult options.
The following are five considerations to consider when selecting a dedicated server hosting company.
·       Quality of hardware:
To ensure your system is reliable, you should look at the hardware used to deliver all of your requirements. Even while SSDs and multiple power supplies aren't strictly necessary, they can help customers who have high expectations for performance and uptime. It's worth looking for branded equipment to provide you with more security.
·       Consider your Budget:
Dedicated server hosting might be prohibitively expensive. The dedicated server budget may be an important consideration when making your final decision. You should also think about how much the dedicated server will cost per month at the end of the projected term of use.
If you're looking for a hosting service, you must include setup fees in your budget. Your dedicated Netherlands 1gbps server budget may also have to account for the cost of software licensing. You should also make sure that you are well-informed on the costs of future upgrades.
·       Managed or Unmanaged:
Your business's success depends on how well you handle your web hosting concerns. Unmanaged servers are difficult to run for many companies because of their expertise, skills, and resources.
The management of a Netherlands Metered Server encompasses everything from the initial configuration and installation of the server to subsequent upgrades of both the hardware and the software.
With the managed approach, if there is an issue, the hosting provider will take care of it immediately. But with an unmanaged approach, you won't have access to experts that can help you solve all problems.
Tumblr media
Netherlands Metered Server
·       Server physical location:
You may think that the location of a Dedicated Server isn't all that significant when you're looking to acquire one, but it should be.
It takes time for information to flow over the internet. Even though it's not much, it's noticeable enough while loading a website. Latency is everything in the world of gaming. On the other hand, people avoid websites that take too long to load.
A direct link exists between the server location and the time it takes to transfer data. Instead of a European server, US users will benefit from faster response times if the server is located in the United States.

Minecraft headcanon worldbuilding: world types and respawn mechanics
You guys seemed to really like my post about players' subspecies, and thank you so much ! I'm really glad people find this interesting, and so I have a lot more to add to my lore, more things to talk about and develop over time.
So here's the next chapter;
Like last time, all of this is only my personal interpretation of what I see in different Mcyt series, or how the game feels to me when I'm playing it. I'm using all this world building to help with illustration or for background in my fanfic [Dreamers and the Dead].
Switch: the act of travelling to another world. Players can either do it on purpose, be forced by a mechanic, or do so with external help.
Knowledge: what a player knows about the universe code. Raw code lines are hard to find, and players usually gain their knowledge thanks to other more experienced players sharing it. Having more Knowledge allows players to use some mechanics, like switching at will, using the admin rights, looking for hidden player data or even the modification of worlds.
World generation
The universe is vast, and for any living being, its form is inconceivable. But one thing is sure to be known, the universe is made of an infinite amount of small, physical and concrete parts, linked to each other and at the same time, out of reach from one another.
These parts are called worlds, and are all unique. Even though they are meant to be the same, not every world is equal. Over time and by travelling from a world to another, players were able to observe different types.
Common world:
A vast majority of the time, the world will be exactly as it should, allowing life of players and mobs to flourish. It is in these world that we can study the different types of player societies the best;
City world;
They are massive worlds, housing an enormous population of players. Most players are either born in one or have lived in one at some point of their life. The management of such worlds, a monstrous task, is only possible with a community of admins, sharing their knowledge. Often, admins of other smaller worlds were formed thanks to the ruling council of a city world. Example: any public server, Hypixel and such being the biggest in existence. Even small public server are still consider city worlds
Survival Memory Pact;
Even if their population is significantly smaller, this is the most common type of society construct. Survival Memory Pact, or shortened as SMP, are small and tight groups of players, a family or (more or less) close friends. They are either formed spontaneously (when players fall in the same random world) or with serious planning beforehand (players wanting to leave their city world for example) Depending on how they formed, they may or may not have an admin, competent enough or not. Some SMPs settle in place definitely once they find a good world. Some others prefer to be more nomadic, changing world every decade for example. Example: any Hermitcraft season, Empires, every private servers between friends, etc
Lone players and Runners:
There also exist a lot of players who leave by themselves, lone inhabitants of an entire world or living far away from cities and SMP groups. However, the most notable type of lone players are the Runners. They are nomadic players who constantly change world, mastering the techniques of forced switching. Their goal is to hunt for more Knowledge by themselves. While admins on city worlds transfer their knowledge to newer admins over time, Runners prefer to get it by themselves, and the only way to obtain new lines of raw Code is to kill the dragon of one world, and break her egg. Now that we learn about some social structures, let's head to the other types of generated worlds. While most worlds are correctly generated, some happen to be different from normality, whether by being made on a different structure or being glitchy.
Hardcore world;
Contrary to belief, hardcore doesn't depend on the players, but on the world itself. A player won't permanently die if they black out in an hardcore world. The worlds are supposed to help the players regenerate if they fall in their protective black out ("in game death", supposed to protect the player from a lethal hit). However, hardcore worlds, instead of helping, will just force the player to leave. They are in fact weaker worlds, not able to handle regeneration. Some adventurous players, once experimented enough, like to find these weaker worlds on purpose, just for the thrill of it. It is still possible to switch out of these worlds, as the rest of its mechanics are perfectly normal. Example: Philza's worlds, 100h smp
Decayed worlds;
They are theorised to be the outer edge of the universe, and will often bear signs of a past community of players who might have lived there long before. If they at first appeared normal, apart from the ruins (things that can be found even in common worlds, it isn't that rare to fall in a random world years after an SMP left it), they are in fact the glitchiest type of world, sometimes too old to correctly function. Known features are, for example, lack of one or both sub dimensions (nether and/or end), missing bits and pieces of mechanics or unstable land and erratic weather. The most notable ones however, are the destructive regeneration, and the impossibility to switch out of there without external contact. This undoubtedly traps players who don't possess enough Knowledge to escape, possibly doomed because of the glitchy regeneration, which could kill them way faster than any mass respawn. A player falling in one of these worlds is either because of bad luck, or as repercussions to forced switching to an extent. Example: Dream SMP, Third/Last life (artificially decayed)
Collapsing worlds;
This is the rarest type, known to some players only as urban legends in city worlds and amongst occasional smps. If at first they also appear to be normal, they are in fact subject to an inevitable doom, a major catastrophic event that no line of universe Code can stop; it's the death of a part of the universe itself. Some players that know about these events fear it might not be a type of world by itself, but the fate of any given world. Records of these dooms were only because the worlds where it happened were unlucky to die way earlier.|| Switching out of a world like this is still possible, but hard to achieve. Once they know doomsday is coming, players must find a way to leave, or they might risk immediate death or permanent heavy damage to their code. Exemple: Hermitcraft Season 8
Black out and regeneration
I mentioned "in game deaths" and regeneration a few times, a key element unique to players, which grants them a conditional immortality. But this feature actually greatly depends on the world in which a black out happened. A player can only take so much regenerations, and perma death exists everywhere in the universe, there is no such place as "having unlimited life". But the natural amount of black out and regeneration a player can endure is so grand it is hard to comprehend for us humans. It is way too hard to keep track of life esperency amongst the whole player kind, but the default esperency is expected to be about a couple milenas with normal regenerations. If a player succeeds in never enduring any black out, they might as well be technically immortal. This amount of regeneration a player can endure is what makes the Life bar, a hidden data unique to each player, which can only be seen if the players know how to look for it. Unlike the Heart bar (the amount of damage a player can take before blacking out), the Life bar never regenerates and can only go down. It also keeps its states no matter the world the player is in. This means if a player endured a couple regenerations in a decayed world, they are left with a Life bar lower than other player "their age". To try to sum up in an easy way, the Life bar is somewhat like a counting down clock. It ticks down only when the player experiences "in game death". In a decayed world, these back out do way more damage to the bar than normally. Players avoid black out as much as they can, even if they have an enormous amount possible on normal worlds; it's not a pleasing process and coming back takes times. When a group is settling in a new world, players can often be stressed about being the first one to black out there, not knowing if the regeneration will be harmful or not, when they don't have the right knowledge to check it without experiencing a Black out. I won't explain the concept of perma Death right away, as I will present it in a later post with Life etc. But I can say that, while in the process of regeneration, players can actually be considered dead. Their souls and essences go to the same place as permanently dead players, only temporarily: Dead Worlds. Except nobody really knows it haha I think that's basically all I have for worlds and regeneration ! Thank you a lot if you read everything <3 Please do not hesitate to ask anything if you want to know more, I may have not explain in the best way possible ^^''
