I've been in this position of close people finding out about my past and I'm gonna be so honest. If I had someone like Sam, I don't think I would've fallen to rock bottom as hard as I did. All a victim wants is for people to understand what they went through and not think less of them. I remember the way I was talked down to and still am due to the person's knowledge of my trauma. Sam saying that he sees a fighter who got up from the amount of trauma, is something that I begged for. It's what Darlin needs. They need to see that although this is a big portion of their life, it does not reflect their person. Erik truly, once again, hit a very sensitive topic right on the bullseye.

“-DIctIr Kalzir. And, as I instructed befIre, I can’t even begin to think why any If this is my prIblem. NI means n|, even in y|ur kind’s language.”

The waiting room was abustle. Wrigglers hissed and nursed their bruised mandibular sockets with invasive grey tongues. Whimpers rose from some chairs in clouds. Trajes’ attention only loosely included them in his universe, though he was more than protected from view by transparent glass that housed the reception booth.

“I admit, it’d be more cramped on room than I first thought, but--“

He would have normally shrugged such derisive remarks away, but the two beefy biceps strangling both his armpits made the motion difficult. “I can promise you--. I sent my references to Mister Ianoni three days ago--! I’ve never had a problem with this before, I have plenty of references--! Name one--! You, Tiny Timmie, ask me a hospital in the--!“

“C’mon, little guy, let’s go.” One of the lugs murmured between pastrami wheezes.

“Wait--! Wait, okay, just--!” Trajes wriggled a little in the air as he was hoisted up. “I can send a follow-up, that’s fine--! But you at least remember the other thing I asked for, right--?”

“And that’s an|ther thing with y|u.” The Cerulean glowered, arms crossing over her surgical gown. “It’s bad en|ugh t| have a l|ne cullbait like y|u l||se in the |perating r||m-“

“-Theatre--!”

“-but what use d| y|u even have f|r a bag |f hair??”

Trajes’ eyebrows lifted in surprise beneath his mask, as if the mystery was obvious to her. “Well I’m not doing anything weird with it, I promise! Besides, it’s not like your patients need it anymore, it’s practically running off their heads--!”

“Can you just--? Please get it--? Please--?”

“Dunk--? Your--...your hospital has a swimming pool--??” As Trajes was carried down the hallway, he beamed. “That’s great material, why didn’t you tell me earlier--??”

Dr. Kalzir simply shook her head with disapproval and vanished around the corner.

They did not, in fact, have a swimming pool in the hospital. Apparently take a swim had meant Trajes getting stuffed down a small rectangular chute on the other side of the hallway that led thirty stories down in claustrophobic darkness. Trajes bumped and fell through the duct yelping with dismay for 45 seconds, waiting to hear the splat of his bones on the pavement, but instead he was met with the cushy embrace of at least four dozen black garbage bags of used medical equipment. The Pyrite rubbed his elbows, scraped from contact with the metal, and smoothed out his hair.

“Well……that’s one way to make an exit--!” Despite the heart-dropping plunge his humour quickly returned, and he popped forward on his knee, quickly adjusting to avoid the puncture of an errant syringe needle poking from a biowaste container, and peeped from the dumpster’s skyward opening.

He was on the side of the tall building, and as he remembered…yup! His cherry-red bike of 3 sweeps was still propped against the adjacent wall, waving him out.

But before that…the doctor’s words spawned a thought, and he looked back to the bags and quickly began glancing through the bundles of refuse, giving a rough feel through the contents. Diapers, diapers, dressing gowns, face masks, IV bags.

Seconds turned to minutes, but there was no luck. Sourness puckered at his lips, and the stink clung to him just as much as the shame did. He…hadn’t done it. He’d failed. Failed again.

Failure, failure...failure...f-failure...his chest started to feel tight, arms quaking. C'mon, keep it together, this is nothing, this is...

A buzzing from his pocket, though, distracted him just as the first traces of a tear started to fill an eye.

Well, shit, he was hoping for a moment’s notice before she tried to pry. Sometimes, it felt like she knew exactly when he needed her advice; maybe that was a power she’d never told him? Or there was a security camera in the garbage chute…

Trajes clambered over the edge, avoiding twisting his ankle on the low slope in the guttered alcove. The thought gave him some peace. Tomorrow, the mean lady would not be so mean; he knew how Superego went about her business by now.

Trajes lodged his flip phone back into his pocket, and grabbed his handle-bars, gripping the rubber tighter than he needed.

He’d grabbed the last ziplock of hair from his hive before making the short cycle down across the familiar path. Through the graveyard, past the whole in the chain link fence. Dodge the poison ivy whacking at your bangs and try not to spill your lunch for the five minutes of jerking up and down on bump rocky dirt.

Planted between autumn leaves was the tree stump where Zaldes was buried. This had once been desolate not so long ago: the arborists had made the area look much better than the desolation that once tattooed its sickly vertebrae. In the heart of the stump, Trajes placed his offering with the many others.

“Hey--! Hey, Zaldes--!” He cooed, like waking him from a nap, his fingers knitted and eyelids weary. “How’re ya, buddy pally chummy--? I hope you aren’t too lonely--…

“Anyways, look--…I know it’s been two weeks this time, so you’ve probably been wondering how I’m doing--! And, well, I’m--…” He sniffed, grinning and looking up past the treeline. “I’m doing super--! You know, I--…I met my brother—!”

He clapped to the silent audience. “I met him, finally, like I said I would, and he--…doesn’t outright hate me, I think--! That was kind of a given, you know how my energy is, my natural charm and wit, but I was really afraid at first, you know--?

“Buuuut he saw my show, oh yeaa--! The other day, actually, and he said he enjoyed it--! Not his sense of humour, but he saw the merit--! Yeah, oh, he’s a gamer, and he wears muscle shirts, and has lots of quads, and a fluffy mohawk--! You’d appreciate him, he’s really stand-up, honest and caring, not low self-esteem whatsoever, not a trace--. What else, what else--? Superego's doing great--...uumm--...

Trajes paused, feeling like he could sense the appreciation from the soil. His arms fell to his side as he looked down. The seconds ticked and locked by, tip of tongue in between teeth.

“I miss you--………I know I--…say that, every time, but I--…do miss you, still, Zaldes--…wish I could hear you being proud of me, you know--? Wish I could know everything is going to be okay--. I’m not a wriggler anymore, I can take care of myself, but--…just--...it'd be nice--...”

Are you even there? His thoughts poked at the endothelium of his skull, lips pursing. Am I even talking to you right now?

The moment of self-reflection passed though as his lips puckered, and Trajes clenched his fists and forced a smile. “Sorry, sorry--! Don’t worry, I shouldn’t ask you for so much, you’re already so busy in the afterlife--! Getting five trolls for every quad, drinking Cruel-Aid in a jacuzzi, telling tall tales to every ear that hears--! Ohahahaha, you rascal bastard, don’t ever stop, stay wild for me, alright--? I’ll hold you to it--! And I promise, next time, I'll bring you some of that cobbler from Chacho's--! I know you've been wanting it--!!”

Bubbly as ever, Trajes clicked his fingers and winked, then grabbed his bike and left the sacred place to the mnemonics of chirp-beast song and the peeking eyes of the moons. His latest donation of hair shifted in the wind as he rang his dingy bicycle bell and headed hive.

I was a nervous wreck, I knew this was going to end bad. I walk into Kineros Robotics, I was applying as a secretary to the secretary, a Wilhemina Venable. I walk to the front desk and see a nice young girl I walk up to her and say "Hello, would you be able to help me find Wilhemina Venable I have an interview with her today."

"And you're going into an interview with Ms.Venable looking like that? What ever you're not gonna get the job anyways, floor 10 all the way down the hall, she shouldn't be missed, she has fiery red hair." Before I got the chance to say something she left. I walked to the elevators and pressed the 10th floor button. This should be fun. I thought to myself. I look at my reflection in the mirror and I start to second guess my outfit of choice. Before I can think further the doors open and I see red hair straight down the hall. Oh boy here we go, no turning back now. The lady was right there is nothing in the way, it's a straight shot and she would be able to tell if I left.

I do my best to calmly walk down the hallway without hyperventilating. As soon as I get to her desk I am frozen, is it fear, is it nerves? No it's because the women in front of my is absolutely breath taken. "M-Ms. Venable, it's nice to meet you. My names Y/F/N." I reach my hand out to shake her hand and I see her just looking at it, so I slowly put my hand back to my side.

"You're late by 10 seconds. That is unacceptable, and you're clothing is terrible. If you get this job and I mean if you better be 15min early everyday and wear clothing that is more work appropriate. That means slacks and a nice blouse if you have a blazer that is also acceptable. Now please stop standing there is an idiot and sit down." This is the first time she looks up. There is no expression on her face what so ever, but I've dealt with people like this before they just want to see a rise out of you. I take a deep breath and take a seat.

"I will make sure I'm here 25min early everyday and I will get some more appropriate clothing, if I do get hired Ms.Venable." I stare at her and give her a little smirk.

"Well then looks like you're hired, I will be seeing you tomorrow bright and early. Have a good day Ms. Y/L/N" I stand and make my way to the elevators, maybe I thought this all wrong it was a good day.

That is how Mina and I met and from then on Oh did we flirt, well I flirted with her but she warmed up slowly but surly. It's been 3 months from when Mina and I had our first date, first kiss and when she asked me to be her girlfriend. I never had to worry about Mina seeing me whole we always had the lights off and I've always left before the sun rose. However this week I had not been sleeping so much, I've been up for 48hrs trying to get this proposal wrote. Mina asked me to come over for dinner and well lets say things went to dessert before we had dinner. In our defense it has been 1 week since our last time. I must have been so exhausted and I slept until 10am because when I woke up I heard a loud gasp. I immediately wake up and get into attack position, "Mina are you okay, is someone in the house?" When I don't hear anything I look over at Mina and see her staring at my back. "Mina what are you loo- oh wait I can explain" realizing she's staring at my tattoo that has always been covered when I'm around her.

"Yo-You have a tattoo and didn't tell me? You know how I see about those" I see her eyes starting to tear up.

"Mina please don't cry, I know you don't like them, but when I get a tattoo I get it for something meaningful. These wolf paw prints, they represent each milestone in my life if you look closer you will see that there is some writing in there. The one at the bottom of my spin it's for me graduating high school, the next one if for collage, then there's one for my first job, my first car, my first girlfriend that's you Mina, then I'm hope I'll get one for when we get married and one for our kids. I know you probably don't like it at all and if you don't want to be together after this it's okay, I understand and I will not be mad." With this said I put on my clothes and make my way downstairs and out the door to my apartment.

It's been 2 weeks since I last spoke to Mina and it's honestly killing me I thought she would be able to accept it because we love each other but I guess I was wrong. It's about 12am and I'm still awake trying to get work done, ever since I left I've pushed myself into my work and work all the time. I only get like 4 hrs of sleep then work. I look at the clock 12:30am it reads and just then their is a knock on my door. Confused I go over to my door and look through the peephole, and there she is in all her beauty Wilhemina Venable. I open the door and pull her inside. "What are you doing here so late Mina?" I asked and she looks up at me and starts to cry. "What's wrong Mina? Are you okay?"

"I'm okay Y/N, I'm just so sorry you felt like you had to hide yourself from me. I don't care if you have tattoo's I care if you're happy and healthy. Oh it's been horrible without you, I've finally realized that you my dear, my darling, you are my soulmate and I want to grow old with you. I want to marry you, and have a family. Please don't leave me, please stay with me." Mina hugs me so tightly that I can't breath but I don't care I hug her back and am careful not to hurt her.

"Oh honey I love you so much and I'm not going anywhere" after a while we pull apart. "Does this mean you'll get a tattoo with me?"

"Don't push it Y/L/N" we both laugh and watch some movies before going to bed and staying there the next day all day. Just the two of us and some ink.

DATING EXO HEADCANON A⇴Z ⇴ Oh Sehun

A ⇴ AFFECTION

Incredibly affectionate, that’s the best way to describe Sehun. He has a lot of love to give, and that usually ends up coming in the form of either a hug or a kiss, or sometimes just being able to hold onto your hand.

B ⇴ BEFORE DATING

You worked backstage on Busted which was how the two of you met. Sehun had his eye on you quite early on, but he was far too nervous to say anything. He kept a close eye on you throughout the feeling, which was something several other members of cast and crew soon picked up on, encouraging him to at least say hello.

C ⇴ CONFESSION

On the last day of filming, Sehun invited you to one side so that he could talk to you. You weren’t quite sure what was going on until Sehun began to tell you all about how he had been watching you over the past few weeks. When he finished his talk off by inviting you out to dinner, you were definitely taken aback, but you didn’t need much time to accept and go out to dinner with him that night to a nearby restaurant.

D ⇴ DATES

Your dates together were usually quite spontaneous, Sehun loved to see what took your fancy when you stepped outside. He loved the element of surprise, if the two of you spotted something whilst walking around, you’d just head over and give it a try. Whenever he has an event for the group or his acting, he’ll always invite you. He loves to introduce you to his friends and show you what he’s been working on, whilst it might not be a date per se, time spent with Sehun is more than enough for you to enjoy.

E ⇴ EXPERIENCE

You were the first experience of love Sehun had, a lot of the early days were about allowing him to learn about relationships. He was open with you about his fears and worries about dating, but after talking with you, he knew that he had to trust in the two of you. To begin with, he never said a word to anyone about you out of fear something would happen, however overtime, he began to relax a little more and seen began to share more with other people about your relationship and how happy he was with you.

F ⇴ FIGHTING

Sehun isn’t afraid to say what’s on his mind, which can sometimes lead to a bit of miscommunication between the two of you. Once he realises that what he’s said has upset you however, he’ll be quick to realise his own mistake. He values the time he spends with you in amongst his busy schedule so the last thing he wants to do with you during this time is fight. He won’t be able to let an argument settle, as soon as it feels like it’s blowing up, he’ll diffuse the situation and encourage you both to talk about things rather than letting it fester. He won’t leave you alone until an argument is resolved between you both.

G ⇴ GETTING TO KNOW HIS FAMILY

His family were a little apprehensive to meet you, but as soon as they did, they saw exactly why Sehun fell in love with you. They were a little worried about Sehun when he told them that he was dating, but after getting to know you and seeing the two of you together, they soon saw exactly what Sehun saw in you too.

H ⇴ HOME

Sehun only waited a few months before inviting you to move into his place. He was quite keen on having someone around to help and support him. It was only when he moved out, did he realise how much he needed the other members, and whilst they could never be replaced, living with you was just as good, if not better.

I ⇴ “I LOVE YOU”

He was the first one to say, ‘I love you,’ one night when you surprised him at the studio. You weren’t to know, but a visit from you was exactly what he needed. When he saw you, he just couldn’t help but say it as a token of appreciation to how pleased he was to see you. You thought nothing of it but hearing him say he loved you certainly made you smile.

J ⇴ JEALOUSY

Out of the two of you, you tended to get jealous a little more than Sehun. You always knew that he was a social person, and at most events he loved to circulate and speak to people, but that didn’t stop you getting jealous at times. Sehun would be able to tell straight away when you were feeling jealous and would usually place his arm around you to not make a scene around his friends. When the two of you were alone however, he’d be a lot more verbally reassuring and remind you that you were the one he was with.

K ⇴ KIDS

Having children felt like quite a way off for Sehun just yet, but that didn’t stop him from discussing it with you from time to time. He wanted to make it clear to you that he saw children in your future together, just not in the immediate future. He’d often sit to himself and imagine what his future would look like with you and children, even if it wasn’t to happen straight away, Sehun couldn’t wait for the day.

L ⇴ LAUGHTER

Hearing you laugh was one of his favourite sounds in the world, he couldn’t help but laugh whenever he heard you laughing. He loves to mess around with you and wind you up, he’s had plenty of practice over the years with mocking his elder members that he knew exactly how to get a laugh out of people. If you’ve ever had a bad day, he will work hard to put a smile on your face, if there’s one good thing about Sehun, he’s relentless, and he won’t stop trying until your smile is firmly back on your face for him to see.

The members are very protective of Sehun as the youngest, so they always pick up on when he’s missing you. They’ll rally around and pick him up and will also send you a text every now and then to maybe nudge you into getting into contact with him. You know that Sehun will try and convince you that he’s alright, so you’re always grateful whenever the boys get in contact with you and let you know what’s really going on. It will take a while for Sehun to admit to how he’s feeling, but once you eventually break down that wall in him, he’ll open up. He works hard to make time for you whenever he’s on the road, at some points it can be a struggle, but he will always find a way even just to say hello to you.

N ⇴ NICKNAMES

Sehun loves nicknames for you, cute names like ‘petal’ and ‘sweet,’ are two of his usual favourites, he loves to change things up and take you by surprise with a cute little name that he knows will make you smile.

He’s obsessed with your body, he could never pick a favourite part of it, but he loves to have some form of physical contact against you when he’s close to you.

P ⇴ PDA

As he’s in public quite a lot at events and promotions, he’s not afraid to be affectionate with you in public. He’s not someone that will make a big deal out of affection, but it will be enough to make it clear to other people that you’re with him and that’s staying right by your side in order to keep you safe and protected.

Sehun has a very curious mind, so he’ll often ask you questions about the world. He loves to engage in conversation about anything that comes to mind and sit with you and enjoy several debates about random things.

R ⇴ RANDOM FACTS

Very few people are aware of a bracelet that Sehun carries around wherever he goes. It was one he stole from your wardrobe a long time ago when he went away. If he’s wearing long sleeves, he’ll wear it on his wrist, but if his wrists are on show, he’ll tend to place it in his pocket or attach it to a zipper on his outfit, it’s something that you can look out for, but none of the fans or staff will even be able to see it on him.

S ⇴ SEX

He loves to explore and try new things; his curious mind will often get the better of him as he aims to learn more about your money and your needs. Sehun takes great pleasure in taking care of you, he focusses a lot on your insecurities and will take extra time to reassure you about all of them. He loves to whisper into your ear and be as affectionate as possible, anything that will do the trick and put a smile on your face.

His schedules are often busy which means there’s limited time for you. When he can get a moment during those busy days he’ll always send you a text to prove to you that he’s taking care of himself and eating well.

Whenever he went overseas, Sehun would try hard to be able to get you to go with them. He travelled often with everything that he did, but he loved to have you with him. On his days off, he loved to take you out to explore and give you a bit of time with him too away from his busy schedule that constantly interrupted you both.

If he didn’t have your attention, Sehun wasn’t afraid to kick up a storm. He’d sit and wait patiently until he had your full attention and then he’d talk.

Sehun is a big fan of kisses, they’re simple ways of constantly reminding you that he loves you in his opinion. He much prefers to kiss you than for you to kiss him, he likes to be with the one to make your heart burst and fill you with a lot of warmth. His kisses can often be spontaneous too, he loves to take you by surprise and appear by your side when you least expect him by pressing a kiss against the side of your face.

You were his partner in crime, together the two of you were very mischievous.

At night, Sehun loved to sit and talk with you. He’d lay tangled up with you, he loved to play with your hair especially whilst you’d tell him what was on your mind, and then lay as he responded and supported you in whatever it was you told him.
