You are not prepared for how insufferable I’m about to be when I finish these.
So I read about Fright Night origins on a horror instagram accounr and instantly got it. It’s written by Tom Holland the Og director and is supposedly opening the way for a new trilogy! I don’t know if it’s going to be in book form or film. However reading the back it looks like it may be a novelization with a bit extra to it… we’ll see either way. Idk I’m very interested to get extra insight on Jerry. (I also got the New bluRay release a while ago, I’ve yet to watch the 4k but it’s my baby)
I also got the novelization , I’m assuming it’s a re-print from how cheap and neat it was. Either way I just like having novelizations. They’re fun to read and add a bit more than we usually know- also if it’s anything like the ghostbusters novelization reprint it’ll have deleted scenes written back in etc.
A lot of old movie novelization’s are getting re printed and that’s a really fucking good thing (considering most og stuff usually range from 100-1000$ ). This is a good step. Now do the lost boys reprint. You gave it a 4k re release now where’s my book?!
