1. New California law now mandates that the school day start no earlier than 8 am for middle graders and 8:30 am for high schoolers.
The start of the new school year is right around the corner! And for most middle and high schoolers, that could mean getting more sleep. Starting July 1, a California state law now requires middle school start no earlier than 8 a.m.
For high school, it’s 8:30 a.m. “This is a public health issue because the sleep deprivation in teens is really at epidemic levels,” said Joy Wake, Policy and Advocacy Director for Start School Later.
2. Pennsylvania governor signs executive order banning conversion therapy
Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf signed an executive order Tuesday to ban conversion therapy, a discredited form of therapy that seeks to change someone’s sexual orientation or gender identity, for minors.
The executive order directs state agencies to discourage conversion therapy for people of all ages, and to instead promote evidence-based practices for supporting LGBTQ people. The order also directs the Department of Human Services, among other agencies, to ensure that state funds are not being used to provide or reimburse for conversion therapy.
3. First Native American woman to travel to space
Astronaut Nicole Aunapu Mann, of the Wailacki of the Round Valley Indian Tribes, will be mission commander — responsible for all phases of flight. She will go to the International Space Station on 29 September, Nasa says.
“It’s very exciting,” she told newspaper Indian Country Today.
“I think it’s important that we communicate this to our community, so that other Native kids… realise that some of those barriers that used to be there are really starting to get broken down,” she added.
4. 100-acre no cage, no kill dog shelter opening in Alabama
Big Dog Ranch Rescue — the largest cage-free, no-kill rescue in the U.S. — is opening a 100-acre facility in Alabama.
The ranch will be located at the former home of a greyhound training facility in Shorter in Macon County and will serve as a rescue, rehabilitation, medical and adoption center for dogs across the south. The Alabama property will allow the rescue to save an additional 5,000 dogs each year.
5. Scotland to become first country in world to provide free period products
On Monday, when the Period Products Act comes into force, councils and education providers in Scotland will be legally required to ensure free sanitary products are available to anyone who needs them.
Scotland’s councils will each decide what exact arrangements are put in place, but they will have a legal obligation to give “anyone who needs them” access to a range of period products “reasonably easily”.
6. World’s smallest sea turtle nests in Louisiana for the first time in 75 years
“Louisiana was largely written off as a nesting spot for sea turtles decades ago, but this determination demonstrates why barrier island restoration is so important,” Chip Kline, chairman of the Louisiana Coastal Restoration and Protection Authority, said in a news release.
Crews monitoring the Chandeleur Islands — a chain 50 miles (80 kilometers) east of New Orleans — to help design a restoration project found tracks of females going to and from nests and of hatchlings leaving a nest.
7. Sacheen Littlefeather receives formal apology for mistreatment at 1973 Oscars.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has formally apologized to Sacheen Littlefeather for her mistreatment at the 1973 Academy Awards, where the Native American actress and civil rights activist was booed and ridiculed as she declined the Best Actor award on Marlon Brando’s behalf.
“The abuse you endured because of this statement was unwarranted and unjustified,” Academy President David Rubin wrote in a “statement of reconciliation” sent to Littefeather in June, and posted on the Academy’s website Monday. “The emotional burden you have lived through and the cost to your own career in our industry are irreparable. For too long the courage you showed has been unacknowledged. For this, we offer both our deepest apologies and our sincere admiration.”
I love how she was able to apply humor to the situation. She quipped, “We Indians are very patient people. It’s only been 50 years”. Bless her, that’s awesome.

mara & coach [biological father-daughter] headcanons
• bcs i hate rookie season, let's make it clear: coach (and jomo) were part of supa strikas goddamnit. so mara has seen past supa strikas members as her uncles (she and shakes met like once or twice when they were both children),
• coach, after jomo's death/missing and some other big dramas in sports environment, retired and become stay-at-home-dad (if you want to know how he even became the coach that we now, it was pretty easy because young rasta once visited him and was like: 🧍hey, sir hmmm... we need a new coach, so you want this job or not? you were very succesful at the peak of your career..., but we are not talking about this),
• y'all will think that coach is workaholic and doesn't have time for preparing mara to school but you are wrong. he definitely didn't let mara left home if she didn't take her lunch,
• speaking of school, i think mara is science-smart. she is good at math (some of students probably called her 'martha', bcs 'math + mara') and physics. ofc coach is proud as hell,
• if coach's mother (mara's grandma) was alive(?), she would look at the coach and tell something like this: my granddaughter become a pilot, while you at her age were running after the ball😐,
• mara is well trained (hell, this is coach after all). she was attending to judo class and acrobatics,
• coach's dog that we see in couples of episodes is son of old female buldog that lived when mara was still a child,
• coach was always open for mara's meetings with his proteges, so when mara had some free time she just walked into training base, sometimes she just sit in coach office and the other time she watched strikas players training,
• on mara's 7 birthdays they went to the lion king premiere (coach is still tortured by mara about the fact he let her watch mufasa death),
• mara changed her last name as soon as she came of age. this was due to security procedures and also because i don't think coach would be the type of father that would rise a nepo baby, so mara wanted to succeed without the influence of her big name,
• both of them are addicted to black coffee (black coffee and black coffee only, they despise latte),
• their love language is buying each other fancy cups from place they've been,
• mara has some of coach's clothes that he wore when he was young,
• they watched 'mad men' together a lot of times (coach type of guy to be fan of jon hamm),
• a lot of people when they first met them are like: WAIT 🤨 you two are related?.

2. Which of your WIPs is currently the longest?
poetry fic!
3. Which WIP do you expect will end up the longest?
poetry for sure, but truman fic is a close second!
4. Which WIP is your favourite to write/the most enjoyable to write? Why?
it definitely changes day-to-day, even though it stresses me out to have a lot of projects going at once (skjhdjhs) I enjoy being able to switch around between them and write whatever I'm in the mood for!
5. Which WIP do you find the most intimidating to write? Why?
probably truman au. I have big plans for it and I've fleshed out the characters really well and I feel like the trope is PERFECT for alex&henry and it (to my knowledge) hasn't been done before so! I want to do them justice. also it's surpassingly fun to write scenes in script format!!!
6. Which WIP do you experience the most self-doubt about. Why?
all of them, to a degree (the universal Creative Experience). but I think poetry fic? it deals with some heavier themes and the characters are so special to me (it also deals with a lot of my own personal struggles and features some of my own poetry) so I worry about it being perceived well or being relatable to other people.
7. Which of your WIPs will you seek out a beta/sensitivity reader for? Why?
I'm not sure if I will! when I wrote in other fandoms I had a lovely friend that would look them over for me and we'd talk about them, but they don't write for this fandom and I overthink SO much that if someone gives me criticism I may just scrap the entire scene sjkhkjhd. I kind of just post and hope for the best!
8. Have any of your WIPs been struck by the curse of writer's block?
on a steady rotation :D perks of having so many wips that I can just switch it up when I get stuck!
9. Which WIP has your favourite OC? Tell us about them?
I'm fully aware I sound like a broken record but definitely poetry fic. i can’t say too much without giving away some of the plot but he’s an older man who can relate to henry in a lot of ways and kind of becomes a part of their story <3 he’s only in a couple of scenes but they’re so important to the story!
10. Which WIP is the sexiest?
hitman alex for SURE, but journalist/escort is definitely a close second.
11. Which WIP is the angstiest?
oh gosh, it's between hitman / abdication / poetry / boxer / and truman ?? but honestly I can't write anything without a little angst, so! I feel like there's so many elements to their dynamic that are just perfect for it (with mandatory happy ending of course)!
12. Which WIP has the best characterisation (in your humble opinion)?
most accurate? probably poetry fic. most fun to write? hitman.
13. Which WIP has the best scene setting (in your humble opinion)?
POETRY!!! it's literally the personification of autumn and warm blankets and falling leaves and old books and alex's cinnamon coffee (of course) and Henry runs a poetry club and they're both so soft and ugh it's just the best ever and I wish I could live in it. (in my own humble opinion).
14. Which WIP have you worked the hardest on?
as far as research goes, definitely poetry.
15. Which WIP do you have the highest expectations for? Why?
I'm not really sure. I wrote in another fandom that I always felt like everything I posted had to cater to who was going to read it and it's been extremely liberating to write for RWRB and just post what *I* like or would want to read. I don't really care about hits, but my biggest hope with anything I post is always that it makes someone else feel seen/heard/validated or brightens their day/night a little, the way that so many other fics/art have for me. <3
16. Do you dream about any of your WIPs?
YES. I have the angstiest dreams and anytime I hurt my own feelings I wake up and write it down immediately. (ESPECIALLY with hitman and journalist recently).
17. Do any of your WIPs have particular complexities that your other fics don't?
truman au for sure. it's written in alex's pov and we only see henry through script format for the first half. I'm really excited about it, I've never written anything like it before and I think it adds such a cool element to the story (if I can figure out how to format it correctly on ao3 jhskdhj - we'll cross that bridge when we get there I suppose).
18. Which WIP is the funniest or has the most humour?
coworkers and dogwalker I would consider to be 'funny' fics -- lots of banter and joking with each other and general lightheartedness!
19. Do any of your WIPs contain outside POVs or a deep dive on a character other than the main ship? How are you finding that process?
not currently, but I LOVED writing June's character in this fic because I have a chronic illness myself and I liked getting to explore it from an outside perspective! I also would love to explore a bit more with henry's dad and their storyline at some point as well.
20. Tell us one thing we don't know about one or more of your WIPs.

henry's poetry club in poetry fic is called 'speak easy' and is held in an old speakeasy lounge
in the hitman fic, alex goes by the codename Ander in public
abdication au is inspired by a five minute scene in a james bond film that takes place on a train and just spun out from there kjshdjhs
YAY that was so much fun, thank you again for tagging me @daisymae-12 , had a super bad chronic illness day the last several days so this has been such a fun and much welcome distraction.

1: Are you named after anyone?
I am! My middle name is from a family friend that passed shortly before I was born. I've considered going by it since I like it more than my first name, however 1: it gets butchered even worse than my first name, and 2: it's extremely close to the name of a character from a podcast that was super popular on here back in the day and I don't want people to think I named myself after that character lmao.
2: When was the last time you cried?
shgdlusfhjgdffgifdshsg literally at work this morning, one of my favorite patients was put down last night and then again after my coworker got a really fucked up call and made me listen to it
3: Do you have kids?
Absolutely not.
4: Do you use sarcasm a lot?
Absolutely, I have a very dry sense of humor and it usually takes people a bit to catch on to that lmao. Doesn't translate much online but any of y'all that have talked to me or heard me on voice chat know exactly what the fuck I'm talking about
5: What sports do you play/have you played?
I did dance and figure skating for a few years when I was a kid, then picked up horseback riding and did that for ...12ish years I think? I started when I was like 10 and stopped in my early 20's. I don't currently do people sports but I'm starting to get into dog sports
6: What's the first thing you notice about people?
General vibes, I'm pretty observant and pick up on body language very quickly.
7: Eye color?
Green, with central heterochromia so my eyes are light brown/hazel in the middle. I may have given one of my OCs the same eye color
8: Scary movies or happy endings?
100% scary movies
9: Any special talents?
I'm good at reading people and can usually figure out what issues are going to come from them immediately. Like I've had a few friends that I thought would be flaky or sketchy on first impression, and years down the line - guess who's now being super flaky or sketchy. I've picked up on a few different work relationships/affairs way before that dirt's come up, too. I'm also apparently very intimidating irl and play into that a ton so I get to be the scary dog friend or whatever the kids are calling it nowadays

11: What are your hobbies?
Art, photography, crafting & cosplaying(this is probably like 8 different hobbies in one - I primarily do sewing, painting, sculpting, leatherwork, 3D printing + finishing 3D prints, vacuum forming and working with thermoplastics, etc etc), and basically anything involving animals - I'm really into dog training currently.
12: Do you have any pets?
My house is basically a zoo lmao. I'm apparently a stray collector or something because I keep either finding animals that don't get claimed or they get rehomed or surrendered to me. Here's a list of everyone:
Molly: ~10-12 year old seal APBT mix
Zelda: 5 year old black & white Great Dane
Lucy: 2 year old seal & white Siberian Husky & APBT mix
Obi: 8 year old black domestic longhair
Loki: 8 year old orange & white domestic shorthair

+ a currently unnamed alien betta - haven't posted pics yet since he's still settling in, but he's solid turquoise and very feisty.

14: Fave subject in school?
I really liked taking history classes, biology, & art. I also really liked the geology class I took way back, & I've had to take some various science-aligned classes for my program(example: art-based anatomy class focused on visible anatomy, how bodies move, range of motion for various joints and parts, etc) that were cool too.
15: Dream job?
I mean ideally I'd be getting paid to live in some rich guy's house and make whatever the hell kind of art I want, but that isn't a career path nowadays so I'll just say artist. I'm in school for game design and plan on going into concept art or character design, but who knows at this point.

are you named after anyone?
My mother named me after a character on a local soap she watched when she was on mat leave. Somewhat cringe!
2. when was the last time you cried?
I honestly can’t remember the most recent time, but the latest I do remember was at my grandmother’s funeral. I had to speak and mostly I held it together, but only just.
3. do you have kids?
26 this year! (Teacher)
None of my own though, and kind of honestly don’t think I want any. Sending them home at the end of the day is plenty for me!
4. do you use sarcasm a lot?
For sure. It’s how teachers survive - sarcasm and coffee. I try not to with the kids though.
5. what sports do you play/have played?
When I was a kid I played netball very poorly. Nobody ever explained the rules to me, so I kept crossing boundaries I shouldn’t. As an adult, I do dog sports like agility.

The way they treat and speak to/about others. Respect is a big deal for me.

If it’s a good story and I like the characters, I don’t mind either way.

Not really. I teach obedience and other dog sports like agility and tricks, so people reach out to me if they want help or advice, but I wouldn’t call myself talented.

Dog sport and training is a big one, but I feel like the more involved I’ve become in the clubs and the admin, the less time I actually have to train, so it’s sometimes a bit draining. SW was my great love when I was at school, but I’ve only just rediscovered it thanks to Rebels and Andor. Much love to the tumblr and RebelCaptain people for helping to reignite the fire.

Three border collies. They are my kids, and I can’t live without them. The cat doesn’t belong to me, but she’s pretty cool too.

170 cm. I think that’s 5′8? Metric for the win!
14. favorite subject in school?
I loved most subjects for most of my school life. Probably why I ended up teaching! Favourites were always science-based, particularly biology. I love maths, and it’s my favourite subject to teach. At uni, my favourite was Spanish.
15. dream job?
After I finished high school, studying vet science was the dream. Life stuff happened to prevent me from doing that, but part of me wishes I was a vet now. Dog training would be amazing, but it’s a pipe dream for most. Not sure where I’ll end up if I leave teaching, but I guess life is never certain and you just need to take whatever opportunities arise.

I’ve been frightened enough in real life. Happy ending.

I’ve built a life and living out of my communication skills with animals and humans alike. Handling, training, tutoring, and educating. Now I want to make a living out of my writing as well.

Hobbies... Worklife and private life are somewhat muddled when you work with horses. I still love riding on a professional level. And I write.

I own seventeen horses, four goats, a rottweiler, a gorgeous cat, and an unknown number of free-ranging stick insects.

Show jumping, eventing, dressage, show. I also show my insanely handsome dog once or twice a year so my breeder won’t die of frustration (he always drags home the big sassy prices, but he usually only works as a farm dog for me).

Lightyear Film Review
Andy’s favorite space hero gets the backstory that Pixar has been wanting to tell for years. Was it worth the wait and the seemingly never-ending hype train? Maybe.
The film stars Chris Evans as Buzz Lightyear. Also starring in Lightyear is Uzo Aduba as Commander Hawthorne, Peter Sohn as robot cat Sox, Keke Palmer as Izzy Hawthorne, Taika Waititi as Mo Morrison, Dale Soules as Darby Steele, James Brolin as Zurg, and Efren Ramirez as Airman Diaz.
Before I go into the pros and cons, I have to point out an obviously stupid thing people are doing. If your main criticism of the film is that “there’s a lesbian couple” in the movie, thank you for sharing your shitty opinion. Now the public knows how dumb you are and can react accordingly. A film should never get a bad review because there are black or LGBTQ+ characters.
If I were to sum up this review in one sentence, I would call it, “a fine movie with some outstanding moments.” Allow me to elaborate. This film is imperfect, and there are quite a few things about it that I would change. The pacing of the film is lightning quick, like Cars 2 quick. You don’t really get a chance to catch your breath. Pixar films in the past have always had good pacing. The general rushed feeling made the film harder to digest as I watched it.
The film’s reliance on nostalgia is ever-present. Buzz says all the important lines, he has his cool suit, and he fights his old arch-nemesis. Nostalgia can only keep a film interesting for so long. When a character’s only traits outside of nostalgia are that they are a brave good guy, something needs to be reworked.
The hard science fiction elements of the film fail to make Lightyear more fun or interesting. If anything, they make the film more depressing. There’s a moment in the middle of the film that I would consider Lightyear’s Up moment. It’s a typical Pixar sad scene that affects the main character for the rest of the movie. It’s the only moment in the film that I felt grabbed me emotionally. The problem is I know that a good Pixar movie has many moments like that in their films, and they only make the movie better. The rest of the sad/important/life-lesson moments felt like checkmarks on a checklist.
It felt like Pixar was trying to do Pixar, which blew my mind. Pixar isn’t supposed to be copying itself. It should be improving on itself. I mean this is based on the Toy Story franchise, for goodness sake. It should be Toy Story good. There are also a lot of changes to the already established Buzz Lightyear lore that I, as an old person, still remember vividly.
At the risk of dogging on this movie too much, I want to go into the positives of the movie. I do like that Pixar is moving forward with the times and showcasing LGBTQ+ characters. They’re out there in the real world, so they should definitely be in movies. Let alone in movies that take place in the far future where people are hopefully less stupid and shitty.
The character and world design are all really cool looking. The suits are good, the spaceships look sick, and the laser guns are the definition of Chef's Kiss. The side characters are good too. Buzz would be completely lost throughout the movie if they weren’t there. Sox was pretty wonderful and stole all the scenes he was in. Basically every side character was good except for Mo Morrison. Sorry Taika, I love Thor: Ragnarok and you as a person, but that guy should’ve been sent out the airlock.
Lightyear was like an experiment on how to make cool shapes move. This is a movie where things happen, and they just kinda leave you wanting more. I shouldn’t feel meh after watching a Pixar movie. I’m a little torn because I hate getting sucked into hype trains and being let down. Things should’ve been different.

10 Brain Health and Fitness New Year's Resolutions: Train Your Brain
Let me suggest 10 New Year's Resolutions that will help you make 2008 a year of Brain Health and Fitness, based on three key guidelines for brain health: the need for find out more here novelty, variety and challenge.
You have survived the 2007 shopping and eating season. Congratulations! Now it's time to shift gears and focus on 2008...whether you write down some New Year resolutions or contemplate some things that you want to let go of from last year and set intentions and goals for this year - as is a friend's tradition on the winter solstice.
To summarize the key findings of the last 20 years of neuroscience research on how to "exercise our brains", there are three things that we can strive for: novelty, variety and challenge. If we do these three things, we will build new connections in our brains, be mindful and pay attention to our environment, improve cognitive abilities such as pattern-recognition, and in general contribute to our lifelong brain health.
With these three principles of brain health in mind - novelty, variety and challenge - let me suggest a few potential New Years resolutions, perhaps some unexpected, that will help you make 2008 a year of Brain Health and Fitness:
1. 2008 Primaries and Elections: If you haven't yet done so, register to vote - active participation is good for your brain health. But, before rushing out to vote, take some time to think through the criteria you want to set up to evaluate who deserves your vote. Don't let politicians and their spin doctors set your agenda. Ask yourself, what matters most to me? What type of President do I think we need? Why? I personally find it quite intriguing that no candidate so far is resurrecting the "It is the economy, stupid" mantra, and proposing solid plans to get our economy back on track.
2. Next time out shopping: Don't let advertisers treat you as if you were Pavlov's Dog - remember the dog that was trained to salivate automatically every time a bell rang. There is a whole industry out there trying to make you buy stuff on impulse. Notice your reactions to a movie trailer or a TV ad Resist. Be the true "Decider". For bonus points, once you learn to identify and manage your own buying impulses, try explaining this to your kids...
3. Reading habits: If you usually read non-fiction, try something new this season. Pick up a good fiction book. Or vice versa. For bonus points, subscribe to or simply read a new magazine, perhaps one that your partner craves? It will help you understand another perspective.
4. Learn about the Brain: Pick up one of the books in the Science section in your bookstore. In the unlikely scenario that you read as many brain-related books as I do, pick up some Russian poetry book and let's discuss this instead.
5. At work: Find, or create, an intellectually and socially stimulating new job for yourself at your current workplace or a new one. Engaging work has been shown to contribute to lifelong cognitive performance. At the very least, go out of your way to make whatever job you have more stimulating: try talking to a new colleague or client everyday and learn a new thing about them. You will not remember everything, but surely more than if you don't even try.
6. Gratitude vs. the Subprime mess: With increasing coverage of economic woes, the subprime mess, recession risk, the falling dollar and a ballooning deficit, it is easy to lose perspective and become depressed. Which doesn't help anyone, much less our brains. To put things in perspective, it pays off to devote some time to keep a Gratitude Journal and simply scribble a few notes a day. For bonus points: do this while you are watching TV news and share your notes with your partner.
7. Cultivate your Critical-thinking abilities: Ask yourself, "Where is the evidence?" at least once a day - see points 1&2 above. Don't just believe this article. Even if it had been endorsed by 20 Harvard Medical School researchers and doctors, nothing substitutes your own brain in action. And the more you practice, the more you refine your judgment.
8. Participate in creating a better environment. Our planet, our families, our communities, our schools, all can benefit from our help. What project do you care enough to commit some of your time to in 2008? If you have school age kids, have you considered joining the school board?.
9. Computer-based programs: With the growing number of "brain training" products, you may be thinking of giving one a try, either for you or for a loved one. As mentioned in point number 2 above, it makes sense to do some research before making a purchase.
10. Where to start? OK, now you have read many suggestions, resolve to keep at least one of them...which one will you choose?.

oh yeah forgot to write anything down when I first got up bc I overslept..definitely had long dreams...
summary:
1. juice spilled on me

3. my mom's house replaced with the natural museum. nature.
3. somewhat well known science & engineering youtuber william osman left his green apple watch & blue PSI meter behind somewhere & i found it
but rn i only remember thst i was wearing this one orange ling sleeve shirt thati have & somebody backed into me and spilled soda all over me right before I had to give a speech or tour of some kind.
i remembered more & came back. me & this older lady & then a young girl maybe 6 or 7 were shrunk down to walk around in the yard. i was wondering how small we were & if other small animals wouldn't think we were prey? & then the 6 year old got devoured by fire ants. it was really messy & not clean. they went like in layers. outer layers of skin, then the meat. in osme places down to bone. most weren't. she screamed for a while before blood got into her tubes & out of her organs & then she was eaten all up except for blood. pretty horrific. there were like juicy-looking & inch long fire ants infesting the next dream too.
the next part had like a antique museum in the place of my mom's house, and my sister and I had snuck in as tour guides in training maybe but we were actually there to come to heist of sometime and we're waiting for the senior tour guide to leave us alone so we can start. however even though she was like late 60s-70s, she was pretty quick on the uptake & didn't leave us alone, instead she told us that we would have to prepare a speech about this one artist's work that they kept in this cabinet as like a trial run. fortunately we had met the artist in the last dream I had, maybe not today but she was there and she was talking to us about like her work and why she did things the way she did, so that was great! her work focus on florals and insects, and she was cross stitching them or putting them on bowls? I don't know.
anyway after this, several old people were lining up to here our speech about this artist, including some of my aunts from my mom's side. don't forget there were ants everywhere. One of them was walking along the driveway when there was like a weird quadruped animal trying to drag the stick that had a huge beehive on the end of it. it was a small animal like the size of like one of those little white bitch dogs, and it ran off as we approached, but there was definitely a big ass beehive on that stick, and apparently empty of bees? I don't know, my mom picked it up and was walking around with it stuff. there were also some seeds my sister accidentally planted in the front yard and they had some kind of importance I didn't remember what that was, they grew extremely fast into trees. they had kind of a yellow and reddish glow to them and I'm going to assume that was part of the special importance of the seeds. anyway we had like a time lapse overnight of the seeds growing up to be like 15 feet tall treat little trees already. this was important for some reason.
in the next part of the dream it started off me watching science and engineering YouTuber William Osman doing a video on his channel where previously he was damaging public property mostly brick walls with like shrapnel guns?. anyway this is the follow-up to that video where I assume some government official had contacted him and told him hey you cannot be doing that dude make it right or you're going to have to pay you to fine or go to jail or something like that I don't know this is my assumption I don't actually know what happened behind the scenes based on the second video. which one is turning his holes and craters in the wall and stuff into like modern art installations? like you know when you see those things that just have fancy labels on them like dandelion growing through cracks with a little label next to it and people like haha cute. sliding these plastic things over them and then filling them with like hot metal like a bit like a cool shape? I mean I assume it's not plastic to give you that was really hot metal. and there was also like a little booklet at the top and he set up a neat thing for when the booklet slot was empty it would like tilt back into the machine and then pop back out with more booklets in it out.
anyway then after the video ended I was in that area, around the time of his like convention or whatever that he's trying to get going, will not trying because it's exceeded last year so the convention thing that you did have going except this was a hotel near it where I was also supposed to be meeting some of those old people from the second dream to discuss something or other I don't know. I was walking around and I saw that thing to go away from the video how does this booklet thing work anyway the camera angle didn't show very much in the videos I'm going to like push it into back out to see what it does, and then this green watch and like blue handheld PSI meter we're on top of the machine and I was like oh I remember seeing those on his wrist from his YouTube videos. should I like try and contact him through his giant discord server or have one of his mind contact him in case you still in the area and you can come back and get them? nah that's too much effort I will just leave it with the hotel receptionist and then drop a message in the server or something like that after I've done this meeting.
meeting with the old people was completely unremarkable. don't remember a single thing about it. as I was getting up to go the YouTuber himself was like in the lobby like yo are you the one who dropped this off? and I was like yeah that's me I'm just glad they got back to you again, I recognize them from YouTube video ,and he was like awesome thank you so much! if you want I can like sign your shirt or whatever and I was like okay sure. I was wearing some kind of dark green t-shirt that I've never owned in real life, and my only other article of clothing at the time was the really fancy shirt that I had to wear to the meeting that I immediately changed out of afterwards, so I was like yeah just I don't know sign this shirt or whatever except he couldn't find out like a way to do it somehow? at one point he like picked me up and shook me above his head like I'm in a goblin and he was trying to dump all the items out of my inventory but it didn't work. in the end I was just like you can just sign something and give it to me and I'll be like wow my memory of when I helped a kind of famous person that one time, so he signed the release form that he had to do to get his stuff back from the hotel and handed that to me okay great.
then I was trying to put that piece of paper fold it up between my laptop, but suddenly all of my laptops were weird! they could fold up really small! they had broken pieces of sticking out! and there were multiple of them that I had to sort through to be like which one is actually my laptop? why are these also small and flimsy? where's my laptop I had stickers on it and everything? in the end I found one that I think was it so I put the piece of paper between the lid and the keyboard to make it not fold up so much. I think that pretty much it, there might have been a little more but like if I find it I'll come back and edit this again. bye
