and while i personally don't think they've ever actually explored b/a/v in any real way (and for as much as roberto gave platitude answers to people who asked for years, it never materialized), i can see how they could be setting something like that up between b/j/a for 6b. especially with the way they presented veronica being the one to call it off in s5. i'm not saying it makes sense or it's going to happen but giving them a specific storyline for the 3 of them alone after 5 years of hearing about them being friends but never getting it until b/a is dating while bughead have a pretty serious romantic history and aren't great at moving on past each other?
i can't say it's something i 100% don't think they'd do.

i can't imagine how the people who run this blog manage to find the fics sent on your inbox. i scrolled through the blog and read the asks you got and i don't recognize most of them. how do you do it? do you recognize the fics instantly? i just dropped by to say thanks for what you do!
Hi anon! Fic searching can be very time-consuming and frustrating but there are lots of ways we can work on a request. There are some that we recognize right away, or some that have a detail which would lead to a very specific tag on ao3. For example, we recently found one under the ‘Writer Draco Malfoy’ tag pretty quickly because there aren’t a ton of fics with that tag! That tag has 63 Draco/Harry fics and it doesn’t take too long to sift through them, unlike the ‘Auror Draco Malfoy’ tag that currently has 606.
Various combinations of tagging can work, sometimes taking out a tag or even just adding a character can narrow things down. When searching for specific plot points on ao3 the handy ‘Entire Story’ option is helpful, that way we can search for specific words from the entire fic. For example, if you send in a request and mention the fic has a storyline about house elves, but the fic is not tagged ‘House Elves’ or has any mention of them in the summary, we can narrow things down with other details and then search entire stories for the phrase ‘house elves’.
Characters(ex: Lucius, Parvati, Molly, Charlie), side pairings(ex: Linny, Ginsy, rare pairs), and fic length(over 50k, under 10k, etc.) are great to have too!
FFN and LJ are much more difficult to search. It’s usually easier to try google for those. Sometimes we search themed rec lists, our own bookmarks, and even the notoriously unhelpful tumblr search feature.
It usually comes down to ao3 filtering! Many times we’ve found fics that we remember reading but also can’t recall the title/author, but can remember more details than what the request provides which can lead to more tagging options. And sometimes we throw around ideas in the group chat until we give up!
It’s also very helpful having five different people working on the requests! We all have different tastes and have read different fics, and we also have individual memories of summaries and fic recs. It’s a team effort for sure!

6. What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?
God, idk. I’m a resolver--I like being able to fix things before something ends. Probably one of my brio fics in plans wrapped in rubber bands because that was a series--so I could end a fic a bit angstier and address it in a later part.
7. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve ever written?
I don’t think either of these are particularly crazy, but I wrote a Sons of Anarchy AU for seblaine (it was always just red) and a Flash AU (back in a flash) for seblaine
8. Have you ever received hate on a fic?
Not outright hate, exactly. More like some reviews were annoyed with some directions I decided to take fic. Like if characters were fighting or didn’t quite say things I thought were out of character for them to say. Some klainers would definitely reblog my seblaine fic in the early days and talk shit on their blogs. But I haven’t received legit hate in a long time.
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
I write smut if I have to lol I’m very much someone who will write smut for the sake of a character’s relationship in a fic. I don’t write just outright smut requests because I find writing sex tedious.
10. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Not that I know of--I’ve had fic ‘reposted’ with ‘credit given’ but I try not to think about it because that’s stressful. I feel like as long as no one is making money off my words, does it even matter?
11. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
No--I used to do a few RPs that had a ‘co-written’ feel instead of just one reply at a time. But that was a long time ago.
12. What’s your all time favorite ship?
It’s a hard tie between brio and seblaine. Seblaine is my oldest ship that I’ve written for, so writing Blaine always feels like coming home but I’m a big fan of writing Rio’s attitude and dialect.

This is hard because I have multiple fandoms but--I think I can easily say I really love my brio series plans wrapped in rubberbands and one of my favorite seblaine fics (and imo a severely underrated fic of mine) is a zombie AU I did for seblaine week 2020 called eye of a hurricane

Relieved to have finally made it out of the office, Jumin stepped through the door into the walls of his home. Lately work seemed to be piling up relentlessly. Despite the CEO’s amount of professionalism, the load started to get to his core. It was unnerving. Letting out a tired sigh, he freed himself of his jacket and loosened his tie. Due to all the excitement of the day, it almost felt like it was choking him.
“Mc? Darling? I am home.” He looked around the penthouse, trying to catch a glimpse of his wife. To his dismay, she did not seem to be around currently. Not even Elizabeth came to greet him. A bit disappointing but not out of the ordinary. At least the absence of his pet assured him Mc was somewhere in their shared home.
Sure enough, after searching through all the most likely places Mc could be holed up in, he recognized the back of her head in one of the chairs on the balcony. Happy to have finally found her, Jumin smiled to himself as he stepped outside.
“Good evening, my love.”
Mc turned to him and greeted him with a court smile. “Hey.”
She was leaned back in the chair’s soft cushioning, softly petting Elizabeth and holding a glass of red wine. A glance to the bottle on the table revealed that she hadn’t had many glasses yet, but her eyes did seem a bit unfocused.
“Did you eat? The wine seems to be getting to you quite quickly.”, he chuckled.
Shrugging in response, Mc looked back over the city stretching in front of them.
“Is something the matter? Are you drinking out of frustration?”
“Kind of. How was work?”
Jumin took a glass for himself out of the compartment hidden underneath the table and poured himself, before taking a seat next to her.
“It was work I suppose. Lately it seems like the requests of our business partners are beyond nonsensical. It is infuriating and gives me a headache just thinking about it.” Not wanting to bore her with details, he kept it short, directing the conversation back to her instead. “What is it that has you reaching for wine out of all things. It’s not your favourite beverage.”
A bitter chuckle swept over Mc’s lips. “Couldn’t find anything else. Besides, it completes my suffering just fine.”
The dramatic wording was quite amusing to him. Yet, he did not dismiss the importance of the problem at hand.
“Would you like to talk about it.” He reached out to touch her arm, giving it a light squeeze. “You know you don’t have to keep anything from me.”
Mc turned to look at him, her eyes filled with warmth as she took him in. She didn’t have to say anything to let him know how much she appreciated his concern. It was written all over her face and enforced by her relaxed posture.
“Just the usual. I guess I’m just a bit tired lately, so it strains me a lot more than it would otherwise. There’s no real point at chewing it out.”, she explained calmly.
Mc took another big sip from her glass, emptying it, before lifting the soft animal of her lap and placing herself in her husband’s arms. Jumin chuckled at her bold move but adjusted his seating to be more comfortable for the both of them. Then, he wrapped his arms around her, holding her to his chest. Closing his eyes he let her closeness wash over him, taking the last bit of stress out of his bones. He could only hope his presence did the same for her. Humming a little melody, he let his hand wander up and down her arm, very slowly and just firm enough for her to be able to feel it through her clothes. Slowly but surely her breathing evened out more and more.
“I love you, Jumin.” The little yawn she let out as she spoke almost drowned out her words. Even without her vocalizing what she was thinking, he could easily feel it just by holding her like this.
“I love you too, Mc. Rest. I’ll stay here with you.” His low whisper drew a sight out of her. Smiling softly, she nuzzled her face into his chest. Adorable.
His wife’s sleepiness seemed to take over him as well. His eyes started to feel heavier. It was a bit unfortunate, for he wished to watch her like this just a little longer. Just before he felt his consciousness slipping away, he tightened his embrace and placed a soft kiss on top of her head. Tomorrow, Jumin promised her in his mind, he would make sure her day would go a lot more smoothly.

everything’s connected - prologue
welp here we have a prologue for this story, im rebranding it everything’s connected because im not even going to try to pretend its not a dirk gently au lmao
editing: fuck no i wrote most of this in one sitting you think i have the time
word count: 606, its short but fuck you its a prologue and i can post whatever i want
warnings: its not going to make any sense until i write more so-

The entire apartment was silent. Silent, still, and dark, like you might expect it to be at 3:34 am on a Wednesday morning. A streetlamp outside was creating a steady stream of light through the cracks of the mostly closed blins. The light only illuminated the absolute mess of an apartment the boy had been living in. clothes all over the floor, dishes piled endlessly in the small sink, it was a complete disaster. Almost as much of a disaster as the kick who fell out of this person’s closet.
This kid couldn't have been more than ten years old, with baggy clothes covering up a scranny frame. When they sat up as the door closed behind them a lot of their brown hair got in their eyes causing the kid to shake around their head instead of using their hand like one might. Once their hair was significantly shaken out, though admittedly the kid has messed up their hair so that they had to shake it out again because it was quite entertaining to them, they sat up more to take a peek at the boy sleeping on the bed in front of them.
The boy's hair was messed up, evidence of how much he moved when we sleep. He seemed peaceful, under layers of blankets that the kid was almost envious of. The boys breathing was even and the kid sat just watching him breathe for a little bit. It sounded creepy, but how moble the kid always was it was a rare occasion to be able to calm down like this.
Finally, they knew what they had to do and the kid sat up shaking the boy's shoulder. His eyes flew open, panicked for a split second but he gave a soft smile seeing who it was. The boy sat up in bed and looked at them happily for a moment before continuing.
“Well smalls, it sure has been a while” the boy looked at them sitting on the edge of his bed. “Do you have something to tell me? Is it another clue?”
Smalls seemed to perk up hearing the word clue and gave a wild smile “in fact I do, though I'm not sure where i put it. . .”
“Do you have something to give me this time?” the boy seemed excited, hoping it was something useful- or at least more useful than usual.
“No, i dont remember where i put it in my mind, i swear its like its one the very tip of my tongue” smalls stuck out their tongue then started to cough “wait no that was a hair-”
The boy waited politely, giving smalls a soft smile as they struggled in their mind to find the right words. It always seemed to take a while to find what smalls needed to say but he knew better than to rush them. Rushing them only stressed both of them out and smalls was always just as confused as he was anyway.
“Oh i got it!” smalls spring to their feet and leaned to whisper in the boy’s ear “find the child.”
“What?”
“Find the child!” smalls seemed ecstatic and the boy frowned a little.
“What child? And where is this child?” smalls just shrugged looking down a little. The boy cleared his throat and sighed when smalls clearly had no more information to give him. “So im guessing this is goodbye for now?”
“For now.” smalls whispered leaning forward a little. “Remember, find the child.”
The boy rubbed at his eyes a little tired and when he opened them again he saw that he was alone in his room.
