Bang Chan

You wake up with a low hiss, clutching your arm to your chest, nails of your other hand digging into the cast. Sitting up quickly, you down the pain killers your husband had left for you on your nightstand. The pill isn’t working quickly enough. You clench your eyes and throw your head back, leaning on your good arm. At that moment, you feel a warm hand on yours.

“Sorry. Did I wake you?” you say through grit teeth.

Chan sits up slowly and drowsily while shaking his head. “You okay?”

“No,” you admit, not expecting the sob that escapes your lips after.

He takes your head and leans it on his shoulder. All the while, he caresses your hand with his, running his thumb over your knuckles again and again to calm you. Your first sob is followed by another. Then another.

Chan strokes your hair carefully. “You’re strong; you can get through this,” he encourages you. “But I’m also here for you. Right here, by your side. Always.”

Lee Minho

“Gah!”

Minho is quick to your side. Upon arriving, he quickly grabs a napkin and tosses the spider in the trash.

“You okay?” he asks.

You let out a breath and close your eyes while slowly forcing your balled hands to uncurl. “Yeah. Yeah, I’m fine. Thanks for doing that, Min.”

He makes a noise of acknowledgement but does not allow his eyes to peel off of you as you leave the kitchen.

A few minutes later, he finds you on the couch, scrolling through your phone.

“Hey.”

He hands you a mug of tea, the reason why you were in the kitchen in the first place. It’s chamomile.

“Thanks,” you smile.

He smiles back and sits beside you. He pulls you into him as usual and drapes the blanket sitting at the end of the sofa over you both. Before long, some Disney movie starts playing on the TV. Besides the characters and you occasionally blowing on the cup, the room is silent. Yet in the room sits an emotion that could not be expressed louder even if you screamed it.

Seo Changbin

“Hey, Bin.”

“Hm?” He doesn’t bother to look up from whatever he’s writing, but you know it isn’t anything productive anyway.

“How do you know when you like someone and when you love them?”

He lifts his pen up and pauses, thinking. “When you like someone,” he begins, slowly, “you want them to be happy. When they’re happy, you’re happy too. When you love someone, you’d want them to be happy even at the expense of your own happiness.”

You let out a hum and nod. “Do you like anyone?”

“Of course.” He continues writing whatever he was writing earlier.

“Do you love someone?”

Your question again makes his pen stop. This time, he looks up to meet your eyes.

“Yeah. I do.”

Hwang Hyunjin

"Mr. Hwang.”

Hyunjin blinks his eyes open slowly. He first turns and sees you sleeping with your head resting in your arms on his bed. Next, he looks over to the resident who’d just called him.

“How are you feeling?” the doctor asks.

“Much better.”

“That’s good. Have you thrown up since dinner?”

Hyunjin shakes his head, and the resident nods in approval. “I’m going to unhook your IV. The nurse will bring you breakfast shortly. If you don’t vomit an hour after you finish, we can discharge you.”

“Thank you, doctor,” Hyunjin nods.

“Your welcome.” He looks over to you. “You’re a lucky one, aren’t you?”

Hyunjin smiles softly and returns his eyes onto you. “Incredibly so.”

“How long have you been together?”

“Oh, we...” Hyunjin hesitates. “We’re not together yet, but I’m working on it.” He reaches to brush your hair from your face, smiling as images of your future together creep into his mind.

The resident chuckles to himself. “I don’t think you’ll have to wait much longer.”

2022-06-09 목요일 ⛅🦋👍✍🇰🇷 첨 보는 나비인듯 한데 옥색의 자태가 참 멋집니다. 더듬이가 참 독툭하게 생겼네요. 나무위키를 검색해보니 이름이 좀 긴 옥색긴꼬리산누에나방으로 "한국의 깊은 산속에 주로 서식하는 나방 종. 크기는 10cm 안팎으로 상당히 대형이며 아름다운 옥색 날개를 가지고 있다. 화려함의 수준이 거의 예쁜 종류의 나비 수준. 피터팬 만화에서 나오는 요정인 팅커벨에 비유되어, 군대에서는 흔히 팅커벨��나 배틀크루저라고 불린다. 긴꼬리산누에나방과 비슷하게 생겼지만, 뒷날개의 꼬리부분이 더 얇고 길며 색상이 더 진한 푸른빛을 띠는 편이다. 날개의 기부에는 백색 털이 많이 나 있고, 앞날개의 앞 가장자리에 적갈색계열의 띠가 있다. 앞날개와 뒷날개 중실의 둥근 무늬 역시 상당히 돋보이는 포인트. 성충의 수컷과 암컷은 더듬이형태로 구별이 가능한데, 수컷의 더듬이는 좀 더 넓은 깃털모양에 가깝고 암컷은 빗살모양과 비슷하다." 또 한가지 배워 봅니다. ᆞ #20220609 #곤충 #옥색긴꼬리산누에나방 #ActiasGnoma #일상스타그램 #귀농스타그램 #귀농귀촌 #귀농이야기 #countryside #countrylife #귀농 #초보농부 #초보농사꾼 #함양 #함양귀농 #텃밭농부 #농부스타그램 #지리산 #지리산자락 #끝까지간다 #LifeGoesOn #SouthKorea @ Hamyang(Hamyang에서) https://www.instagram.com/p/CelbkEsltXH/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
