The 2022 Emmy nominations were announced today. "Abbott Elementary" racked up quite a few nominations. And Quinta Brunson has become the first Black woman to be nominated for Emmys in acting, writing and outstanding comedy in the same year.

Sandra is deserving of a win, and I'd love to see it, but objectively I can't get there based on how bad the final season was. It would almost be wrong for Sandra to win a Best Actress award for Killing Eve's worst season.
But I want it for her anyway.
SANDRA OH at the 74th Primetime Emmy Awards on September 12th 2022 wearing RODARTE
Sandra represented “Killing Eve”’s final season at the Emmy Awards, and she looked fabulous. I loved the statement look she wore, almost as much as all the behind the scenes photos she gave us.
I really liked this look from Sandra! She has so many great outfits this past year. I loved how glamorous she went, the sequin suit is such a cool move. She was nominated for the final season of “Killing Eve”, so of course she had to go big. While she didn’t win the award, she definitely won the red carpet game.
I loved that she wore purple. I think the sequins looked amazing. I loved it with the satin top. The whole look was just phenomenal.
I absolutely think Goldstein deserved his 2021 Emmy award for his work on season 1, and I also think that in many ways, Roy, rather than Ted himself, is the true male protagonist of Ted Lasso. If Ted’s the Gandalf, Roy is our Frodo, if Ted is Mary Poppins, Roy is Mr Banks. Roy might not be hard to understand, but it doesn’t mean that he’s boring or derivative of anything that’s come before. Roy Kent is, simply, one of the best characters created for television in the last couple of decades. He’s inimitable, God-tier, and he’s going to endure.
But Jamie is the one who niggles me. Jamie is the one who sticks in my teeth. Roy is complicated within himself, but in a way that’s kind of uncomplicated to the viewer. Jamie is complicated in a complicated way, and that’s completely addictive. He always leaves me asking questions. Maybe it’s because his arc involves some of the show’s biggest reveals, only outstripped by Ted’s own, but each episode, it’s Dunster’s performance that I’m left turning over and over in my head, studying the most minute of reactions and trying to piece together the internal make-up of this enigmatic young man. He certainly offers plenty to work with. As a critic with an analytical bent and a penchant for absolute nightmares, Dunster is a meta wet dream for a myriad of reasons, and I implore others to take notice of the riches on display.
SYDNEY SWEENEY at HBO’s Emmy Awards After Party on September 12th 2022 wearing vintage VERSACE
Sydney definitely went for a sexier look for the after party, as she should! I thought this vintage Versace dress looked amazing. It was a great follow up for the Oscar de la Renta dress.
I’m a little back and forth on the dress. I really want to like it, but it almost looks like the draping is the slightest bit unflattering, especially in the bodice. I do really love the color, I think the green looks amazing on Sydney. I also think the mixing of fabrics is super cool. It’s a very interesting dress that looks pretty on Sydney.
