Seorang teman bertanya, Na apa nasihat untukku yang belum menikah? Aku tersenyum. Tidak ada yang bisa ku ucap selain hanya sebuah kalimat "maksimalkan peran."
Jika kini Allah masih membuatmu menjadi seorang anak, nikmati masa itu. Berbaktilah kepada orangtua, bahagiakan mereka. Ajak jalan-jalan ke manapun mereka mau. Dapatkan ridho mereka.
Setiap hari aku rindu Ayah padahal jarak tempat tinggalku dan Ayah bisa ditempuh dalam waktu 10 menit :") dan hampir setiap hari ku sambangi rumah beliau. Setelah menikah aku menyadari ternyata waktuku bersama Ayah masih sangatlah kurang dan baktiku sebagai anak selama ini belum ada apa-apanya.
Setelah menikah kerinduan kepada kedua orangtua akan membuncah. Suasana hangat dalam rumah kadangkala membuatmu menangis tersedu-sedu. Kau akan rindu rumah, Ayah-Ibu juga pertengkaran kecil bersama Kakak atau Adik.
Maksimalkan peran, syukuri fase demi fase yang harus dijalani. Kalau sekarang Allah masih memintamu sendiri dalam taat sementara undangan pernikahan sudah tidak terhitung jumlahnya, bisa jadi Allah ingin waktumu bersama orangtua dan keluarga lebih lama sebelum nantinya Allah takdirkan kau mengambil peran menjadi Istri dan Ibu. InsyaAllah.
Selamat terus membaik. Selamat terus berprasangka baik pada-Nya 🌻.

the minotaur was punished just for existing, for being born a “monster”. sitting in his labyrinth, roaming day after day. sometimes he fights intruders, men forcing their way through the only home he’s ever known. there are cracks in the labyrinth, little holes to see through and into the beyond.
do you think you can see the sun through the cracks?
the question is a trick, trapped underground. he will never see the light of day, do you think he even understands what he’s missing? locked away for the act of being born. he doesn’t know, he doesn’t understand.
the minotaur met a big, strong man one day, an army with him. he had never seen so many people, armed and ready. his home, his poor home, trampled and invaded.
the minotaur fights back, it does nothing. he feels every bit of it as he’s torn apart. and as he falls to the ground, head looking to the side, he sees another crack. there’s a light, glowing and bright, shining from the other side, a warm sun welcoming him with open arms.

James and Lily decided that inviting Sirius into their relationship will revive it, and James gets to deliver the news.

“I don’t know what I am going to do,” James states, head in his hands. “Lily says that there’s nothing we can do to revive this marriage, but I don’t want to lose her.”
Of course, that’s not exactly true. When Lily finally got him to admit that he’s also attracted to Sirius, she told him that there was another option to keep their marriage together- invite Sirius into it.
He’s not sure that Sirius would be game for that, but he knows that he wants to try.
Thus, coming over to talk to Sirius.
“Surely, there’s something – you two love each other, almost disgustingly so… I don’t understand why you’re suddenly off kilter.”
James looks up, accepting the offered cup of tea. “Well, it all started a few weeks ago – you came over to show-off your motorbike and you bent over and your arse… Merlin, I think I swooned.”
Sirius looks quite surprised. “Swooned? Over my arse? What are you – what?”
James sighs. “Look, this could possibly ruin everything so I’m going to talk fast just in case… I have had a little fancy of you, and I wanted you for so long hut I do love Lily and I didn’t think you would be interested but Lily – she found out and she has a thing for you too so she thought we could revive our marriage but inviting you into it.”
Sirius is looking at him with wide eyes and mouth slightly open. It’s completely silent for several minutes…
Before James prompts, “Thoughts?”
“THOUGHTS???” Sirius practically shouts. “I have no thoughts right now…I don’t even – what am I supposed to say to that?”
“Maybe start with… are you interested?”
“Am I- are you just completely thick?”
“Wha –” James starts to ask before he’s cut off with a passionate kiss. Sirius’ lips on his is everything he’d imagined and more and he can’t resist pulling him closer and wishing it would never end but of course it does.
“James. I have wanted to be with you for so long… but I can’t be with you if it’s just to hold your marriage together.”
“It’s more than that, please. We both want you and – and you’ll be a proper third… just give us a chance?”
“I can never say no to those doe eyes.”
“That’s a yes, then?”
“Merlin, help me, it is.”
“Good then you’re coming home with me, let’s go revive my marriage.”
“Let’s go.”
