Made this months ago when I downloaded some pixel brushes and was trying to test them out. I ended up with a finished piece despite never having planned an illustration in the first place. Wild shit.

taking ADHD meds is literally so funny cause I wake up and take them but they don't kick in for about 90 minutes so I have an hour and a half of going "fuck I'm still so tired/listless/can't focus" and then my brain go DING like a toaster when the meds kick in
#actually adhd#i take vyvanse which has to be metabolized through the liver before it becomes usable by the brain#i can sometimes lay back down and doze for a bit while my liver is doing its thing but once i hit that 90mins i am UP baybeee#love my meds#90 minute activation time is a fine tradeoff for 12-14hrs of efficacy#and honestly i dont even crash - they wear off and i can tell but usually only bc ive been desperately trying to sleep#and can finally manage it

ive had SUPER fun w comms in the past, but ill admit as someone whos just doing all this for fun i do feel a bit weird setting up a mini-business where i now gotta be some salesman💔 esp being a hobbyist who doesnt have a solid method for drawing, so i feel the results can easily end up different from what the person mightve wanted all while not being super confident in my skills.....
BUT!!!!! i do love drawing things for people!! i think its super fun working together with someone to bring an idea they have to life! so honestly feel free to just dm me practically whenever asking if id be willing to draw something for u and id happily respond! i tend to have a decent amount of free time on my hands
ill probably open proper commissions sometime later down the line id imagine? considering i need to like. Survive. but work tends to easily burn me out so i doubt itd be super frequent or with many slots :')
BUT YES!! IF U REALLY WANNA COMM ME MY DMS ARE ALWAYS OPEN!! for price references last time i charged between $40~$60 for one character. but since i do not have a sheet atm its not set in stone and we could probably come up with a fitting price together based on what u want! but that would be the general ballpark!

I believe I am beginning to realize something about myself… I do not know what a healthy amount of work is for a person
#I’m always taking on more because I want to see it done and I like being busy and I genuinely want to do the things I sign up to do#I want the experience and to learn and work with all the people that I work with#I want to be the person who knows how to do it all#but every few months I realize that I’m becoming physically sick from the amount of stress I go through when deadlines like finals come#stress during finals is normal#but I don’t think getting as sick as I do every six months is normal#but I don’t know how to gauge what normal is#I’m so used to being on campus for 12-14hrs#working 6 days a week#I run on 6-7hrs of sleep on good weeks#I feel horrible if I haven’t completed at least two things by 11am#I don’t know when to stop or when it’s okay to stop for a day#I don’t know what normal is#i’m surrounded by honors students who all are pushing as hard as I am#I am the leader in so many things at school#I don’t know how to function when I’m not leading things#g.txt#faerie’s getting her degree#grad school
